Amira sat near the others, gazing nervously in the direction that Kazuki and Nato had gone. What had happened to them? While she knew that both could take care of themselves, that did not stop her from worrying.
Turning to Ari she asked, "Should one of us go after Kazuki and Nato. They have been gone for awhile." She trailed off here, uncertain. "When we are all together again, we should probably invent some kind of signal to alert others if one of us is in danger or needs help."
Now that she thought of it, wouldn't the others have called if they needed help? maybe it would be better if they just waited.

"I think they would tell us if there was any danger...Unless whatever it was came suddenly."
Hearing worry from other tribe members, Ari couldn't wait anymore. He had to see what was happening out there. He stood up, and started walking out of the cave.
"Someone keep an eye on Sigal, please. I'll be back in ten minutes, and I'll let you know if I saw anything out there or not."
Sigal shivered, when Daddy and his warmth left her, but it the cold that now surrounded her wasn't quite enough to wake the kit up yet.

Nodding to Ari, Amira stepped forward and settled herself around Sigal. The young kit was adorable and shifted slightly in her sleep. Cooing a little, Amira gently stroked her fur.
In all honesty, this was Anjafey's duty. However, Amira loved kits and Anjafey seemed busy talking with Rendo. Smiling a little, Amira decided that she could watch Sigal while Ari helped the others.

Sigal snuggled closer to the warmth that had come back, thinking it was Daddy. She was deeply asleep, but obviously dreaming of happy things.
Ari followed the scents of the two tribe members out of the cave, to where a third scent was. He sniffed at the ground, trying to figure out what the new one was. Another modifox? It could be, but with Kazuki and Nato's scents in the mix, it was hard to tell.
But then, Kazuki and the new thing had gone off in another direction, and it was easier to be sure that the new one was indeed another modifox. Should he try following the trail? Or head back to the cave? He only had so much time to use...

Anjafey was roused from conversation as Ari left. She turned, smiling at Amira and Sigal. She laid down so that Sigal was between herself and Amira, watching her sleep.

Sigal was sort of aware of something else warm next to her now. Another fox.
"Mommy?" she asked in her sleep.
Making up his mind, Ari began to follow the trail that Kazuki and the unknown fox had left. Their paw prints were together, so it didn't look like this new fox had attacked Kazuki, but...Ari couldn't help but worry. He hoped that he would find Kazuki and this new fox before he ran out of time, and had to report back to the others at the cave. He needed to be sure that Kazuki was alright!

Rendo followed Anjafey and laid down next to her to look at Sigal. "So...two tribes can breed liek taht...so...does that mean Sigal stays in this tribe or go to the other tribe also?" He asked the two of them.

Anjafey shot him a stern look. "Hush. You'll wake her," she whispered. Her maternal instincts were kicking in.

Taking pity on Rendo and whispering quietly so as not to disturb Sigal, Amira answered. "Since she is with Ari and he brought her here I believe that Sigal will stay in this tribe."
Looking down at the sleeping kit with compassion in her eyes, Amira added "It is going to be hard for her, growing up without really getting to know her mother. Even if Ari and Heartbreak work something out, she will still feel somewhat lonely." Sighing a little, Amira once again snuggled up to the kit and fell silent.

Shai stopped walking with his buck and raised his head. He smelled fear scents. He shook his head and sat beside Kazuki. This Elder was strong and Shai was proud he had pleased the Elder.

Nato stood behind his elder and listed to him and Shai talk. He observed Shai closely. When The two of them decided to hunt Nato decided to go get a few more herbs incase something went wrong or for minner scratches and brusies. He nodded his leave to Kazuki and trotted off to find some rosemarry. Finding it, he snaped off a few branches in his mouth and followed the scent of the others up to the cave.

Kazuki continued to walk with Shai but stoped when he did. That scent was it Ari. What was he doing here? He should be with the others. Kazuki turned to Shai.
"Don't worry its safe. Come along..." Kazuki continued to walk it was then that he saw a worried looking Ari.
"Ari, whats the matter?" Kazuki was confused did something happen. Did Ari lose his daughter? Was someone seriously hurt? What could it be!

Ari relaxed, seeing that Kazuki was alright.
"The others at the cave were starting to worry about what was going on out here, so I came to look. I need to get back to them soon, so I can tell them what's going on out here." Ari glanced over at the new fox, questioning Kazuki about who this newcomer was. Kazuki seemed to have some idea of who this gray fox was...A friend of Kazuki's? Irrationally, he found his mind wondering if Kazuki and this new fox were something more than that. No, he was being stupid, it was probably nothing like that!
But still, Ari watched Kazuki carefully, waiting for an explanation.

Kazuki followed Ari's gaze and laughed shaking his head.
"This is Shai. He shall be the Tribe's new hunter. Though someone may need to go with him to help bring back the food. As you can see we got some food for the others since carrying all those watermellons might make everyone hungry." Kazuki smiled and moved slightly to show the bodies on his back.

A new tribe member? Ari felt a bit left out, since Kazuki had made this decision all on his own, but Ari trusted Kazuki's judgment. Surely this Shai would be a good tribe member, then.
Assuming that Kazuki's judgment wasn't clouded by other things, of course...Ari shook his head, trying to clear such ridiculous thoughts out of it. He had to be going insane, thinking these things. Kazuki wouldn't do that to him, he was sure of it!
"I'll let the others know what's happened, and have some of them come back to help you two," Ari promised, turning to run back to the cave. He knew his ten minutes were almost up, and he wanted to get back before everyone there started worrying about him, too.
