Irvine had not expected such an agressive attack. The attack on Irvine's mid-section had thrown him completely off guard. However, his breastplate held strong holding off the attacks. Though on the last strike, the Black Rose actually cut through the breast plate. If it hadn't been for Irvine backing up from the attacks, his chest would be sliced open now.
"Ugh!"
Irvine jumped back just as the gust of wind hit him. It threw him slightly off balance however, he quickly regained it. Irvine ripped his breast plate off and threw it away. He quickly disregarded himself with the rest of his armor. It was of no more use now. Irvine, jaw set, and fingers clenched around his sword decided to take the fight back to Xol.
Twirling the blade in his hand, he charged Xol. He kept the blade close to his face. When he came within striking distance, Irvine aimed a slash at Xol's head, hoping to decapitate him and move on.

(my posts are lagging, but on the bright side, i got three E-Trunks in a row. 3nodding ) Arpegius lifts her up, and moves her to a safer area, he sits by her, and puts his coat over her, to keep her warm.

Xol smiled, beside himself as the Black Rose cut into Irvine's chestplate. Although he hand't hit flesh it was still a testament to the Black Rose's power. He watched Irvine discard his armor and then rush at him, swinging for a decapitaion blow. Xol was too quick though and brought the Black Rose up with devastating force, blocking Irvine's blade and sending out a powerful concussive wave. The ground under them cratered slightly as black lighting exploded off the Black Rose.
Xol pushed back with all his strenght and aimed a lighting quick stab at Irvines right leg, drawing dark matter in his left hand as well.

Irvine stumbled back slightly from the push. Then, a sudden searing pain in Irvine's right leg made him grind his teeth together in pain. The Black Rose had stabbed through his leg. Irvine winced as it was pulled out. He was forced to limp away.Then shifting his weight onto his left leg, Irvine leaped to the side of Xol. He ground his teeth together in pain when he landed however, he kept his eyes on Xol at all times. He watched as Xol began gathering dark energy. Following in suit, Irvine began gathering light energy in his left hand.

Xol gripped the handle of the Black Rose firmly, siphoning a hundred times the power into the dark matter ball then he could ever hope to achieve on his own. He put his arm level with Irvine and fired off a ball of intense dark matter, but it was just a distraction, slamming into the ground in front of him and exploding into a plume of dust.
As the dust overwhelmed them, Xol jumped into the air and fired down the full barrage of the dark matter beam, landing behind Irvine and dashing in quickly. He sent another lighting quick stab towards his back hoping to puncture it through to his heart.

Irvine was so overwhelmed by the awesome attack that he took his eyes off Xol which was his first mistake. Irvine looked left, then right, and then finally over head. He was just in time to see a barrage of dark energy balls. Using his own energy blast, Irvine counterd Xol's. Then, spinning on his heel too turn around, he was met full in the chest by the Black Rose. Irvine's eyes widened with shock and pain. He fell to his knees. He inhaled a shuddering breath and then exhaled, looking up at Xol. He coughed up some blood.
"Est...Sularus....Oth....Mithas....My Honor...is...my...life. I die...goodbye...my...brother...be...at...peace..."
With one final shuddering gasp for breath, Irvine keeled over backwards. He clutched his sword in his hand, looking up at the night sky with dead eyes. Irvine's body lost it's silvery hue. The shield surrounding the garden dispersed. Irvine Gray was dead.

Arpegius decides to pick her up, and he carries her inside to the Guild. His head is lowered as he enters, and walks upstairs with her Unconcious body.

*TJ solemnly walks out to the gardens, Irvine's lifeless body on his shoulder. He walks and finds the white rose patch. He lays Irvine in the center of the field. After concentrating, Irvine's body sinks below the flowers*
These flowers will be your blanket in death....and may your sword be your gravestone

*He walks and finds Irvine's sword. After wiping it clean he sands before the flowers. With one swift movement he stabs the sword into the ground in the middle of the patch. TJ bows one last time before turning around. Before heading back to the guild he sad down by the pond*

Morrigan stands up from a crouched position. She walks over to where the grave was made, and veiws it. Irvine was very brave to fight Xol, but it will take great strength to beat him.
She turns around, and walks to an empty area, she sits down, and closes her eyes, waiting.
