-You wish you had taken athletics instead of marching band because the work is too hard.
-When you hear a song you've played before, you sing your part to it. (Pirates of the Carribean is never gonna be the same...)
-All the crushes/relationships you've had/been in involve band members.
-Your band T-shirt is your favorite item of clothing.

You know you're a band geek when:
-you dance to MB music
-you scare people half to death when asking for donations in your uniform *coughbegcough*
-you watch a video of all of your shows, more than once
-you can call your BD by their name
-you offer to help with everything, that has to do with MB equipment loading
-you suck up to your band teacher to get drum major
-you count how many steps you make before the next line in the sidewalk
-every time you see a band on TV you have to comment about it
-you wear your marching shoes around the house or to school
-you jump into piles of unclean marching band pants (Oompas are what we call them)
-you wear the MB pants to school
-you dance to no music after a football game (even after loosing)
((I could go on forever, but I have to go to bed.))

...when the football team goes inside because it's too hot, and you still have 4 hours left that day for band camp
...when the pavement temperature is over 130F, and you still march.
...during band camp you tip over one of the 5g coolers, and come back 5min later to find that the water on the ground is gone.
...you see a chain-link fence as a safe place to store your cup until you need it later
...you spend more time practicing for band than you do sitting in school
...when MB is NOT a school credit, and you still do it anyhow
...when you see "quarter note = 186-200" and think bring it on

You should really suggest that... good idea..., or, they could just give it to the people in MB, but for normal people it's fine too....

saxophone: bazooka
clarinet: musket
trumpet: any type of gun
tuba: a weapon of mass destruction
flute: a tazer
trombone: a continuous trigger machine gun

The Grumpmeister You know you're a band geek if you pretend your instrument is a weapon: saxophone: bazooka clarinet: musket trumpet: any type of gun tuba: a weapon of mass destruction flute: a tazer trombone: a continuous trigger machine gun oh, dude, every year our band takes a group picture, then we all do section pics. 2 pics per section, one serious one, and one 'funny' one, and for the clarinets they were all holding their instruments like they were muskets and pointed them at their section leaders who were on the ground on their knees xd lmao

you know your a band geek when:
-you start a posse for your band teacher (What can I say... My band teacher is cool)
-you obsess over an instrument you don't have but desperately want (Me: Piccalo)
-You sit in the storage room practicing with 2 others while everyone is outside on a beautiful afternoon (I must addmit it IS fun...)
-You skip recess because band is next and you want to get all the music yoou want to play done before the lesson starts ( me and my trumpet playing friend)
-you fight over who did the wrong note when (me: done it too many times)
- and when someone hits the rim of the basket ball hoop, you start your favorite band song from that note (seeing as everyone of my examples clues to me.... take a lucky geuss)
-When you fight with your teacher over what note that was and you end up being the right one

We could be standing, watching someone with even less authority than us start the count off, and the moment they say "Band Ten Hut!" we snap into attention. sweatdrop
