stellarmagic ((You want to duel? With Imperial Storm Commandos? Okay... fine. We turned off our Thermoptics to keep from shooting each other too. Maybe you should do the same to avoid shooting each other as well.)) Kusei ducked back as one of the Storm Commandos from Cell A fell back clutching a wound to his stomache. The other Commandos scattered immediately as another flurry of bolts came in. One of the commandos called out, "They're still in the fight. Sniper to the front!"
The third man of the cell stood and focused in through the scope of his rifle, "Target 276 degrees, next to that tree...or shrub... you know the mini tree. They're right on the treeline."
Beside him the demo specialist rose from cover and sighted in, "I got him." With a thump the grenade launcher chucked a proton grenade into the hiding place of one of the commandos blowing him apart with a flash of red vapor and brilliant light and sound. With a click the case of the emptied round dropped out of the rifle's underslung barrel.
Kusei shoke her head and turned to watch three cells of four Storm Commandos leap over the emplacements next to the shield generator tower. They crouched beside the massive humming dish and placed proton charges before pulling back to a safe distance. With an flash the base of the tower crumbled and the dish leaned and fell onto the ground with a resounding crash. In the distance there was a flash as the second dish detonated. 2nd Platoon had just accomplished its mission as well.
Kusei pulled out her own rifle and popped out the bipod and settled in behind a large rock. With a calm she looked down the hill and waited for the enemy to make a fatal mistake.(People seem to have a love of auto-hits.) A bothans scream cut the air as he was grenaded, his cloaker damged and failed, Zlic was bathed in his own blood as he clutched at where his legs just ended above the knees. Drecks went to jump out to go to his aid, but Zepth commed in,"Leave him, there is nothing we can do as much as I wish there was." The cathar looked about and held his rifle tightly."We retreat, quick-like. We can't survive. Action 39 people." At that moment, each surviving member of Alpha 1 pulled two grenades from there equipment. Activating both, one a thermal detonator, the other a similar sort. "OK, go!"Zepth shouted, and each of the members tossed the thermal det's in different angles towards the general location of the stormcommandos. After each went off, each member started there retreat, through activating the second grenade and tossing it over the area where there thermals had hit, the smoke still not having cleared. Each one of these went off and each emitted an electric charge followed by an awsomely bright flash of light and an ear-shattering scream, the charge would overload the stormies helmets and brought forth the full effect of the grenades, but doubled the sound, shattering their ear-drums, the light blinding them. Each member high-tailed it into different directions, two-by-two.

(Stellar loves auto-hits. He thinks he can use them just because he knows everything about everything Star wars, so he already knows what you'll do and how to counter it. But that's just my observations) Several hours after they left Kashhyk, the small corvette group was in Hutt Space under white flag, by personal invitation of one of the Loyalists' chief financers, Vogga the Hutt. Like all Hutts, he was big, green, and slimy. He was, however, a bit more accomdating than others of his species, and Detre found him easier to converse with than other Hutts. As it was, he, two noghri guards, and two of his crew were with him as they visited the Hutt's Palace. The booming voice of the gigantic slug called from his loft on the other end of his audience chamber. The room was large and spacious, filled with many works of art from various local cultures.
"a** good a** one can get," Detre replied in his usual, raspy tone. "You're well a** well?"
Vogga answered.
"That'ss a sshame," the Noghri answered, not caring at all. "We were having some problemss of our own."
"Trandoshans," one of the other Noghri answered. "Some slavers we caught interfering near our space. We were attempting to help some Wookiee associates of ours, when they captured many of them and ran off."
"Come again?" Detre asked.
He nodded. "We want him ssilnced."
The Hutt laughed.
"What can we do to sssee this through?"
Vogga shrugged, and slithered down.
The elite smiled, his razor teeth hidden by the cold, black armor. "My pleassure."

A loud rumbling occured behind Jaden; it was too far back to cause any trouble.
"Report in," Jaden stated in his com, as another rebel turned the corner, only to find that his rifle was sliced in half and his head separated from his body.
"We lost only minor amounts. 2 and a half companies still with us, some were buried, but not horribly injured, damn slackers" the lead plaguetrooper said. Jaden was surprized the voice came so near to him. Looking to his left, he found the voice come from the tunnel beside him; they had converged.
"You keep up well. Flood through the halls. They seem to want us to push forward. More will come; use your heavy repeaters and mow them down."
"Yes sir," the lead said, motioning forward advance. Jaden went another route. Sprinting, he stepped into a hallway filled with several communications officers; All six were dead before their blasters were drawn. Lighting was effective, and the secondary communications relay was fried.
"We must backtrack to lady Freya!" He heard in the tunnel ahead of him.
"Lord Archcaras has demanded otherwise!" His superior ******** 'im! He blows up the main hangar, then demands we take on these "supersoldiers"? We're not kriffin' jedi! I'm out of here." He said turning to the path.
His superior grabbed him, "You will follow your orders!"
"I follow the orders of the dear lady, not some playboy Loyalist! She at least cares for her troops survival." He broke the handgrip and headed off.
The superior officer snorted, considered raising his rifle, but found himself chocking; By the time he was dead, Jaden had followed the impugnent soldier deeper into the mountain and heading down one of the tunnels to the back hangers.

Above, in the not-so-empy space, Lord ferno found the transports terribly easy to capture. Four had already been neutralized, as he grew more impatient with the lack of fight. They were fleeing with reckless abandon, and it showed.
Inside the pillar, HM relayed the message. "Open fire on the remaining transports. We have plenty of them already." The pillar's tractor beams caught two more, before green light carressed the transports into a scrap of exploded delight.

Fina had entered the throne room, where the Prime Minister sat. She stopped a good distance away from the throne and looked to the Minister's face. "Lady Xanth..." He said in greeting. She guessed he wasn't in much of a talkative mood. That was good though, she just wanted to talk to him quickly and be gone. Fina bowed her head, then smiled a bit as she looked back up. "Prime Minister Verindoris." She said, immitating his own greeting. "I trust you didn't come here just to visit... Unless you actually have." He said with a bit of a smirk. Fina just smiled a bit more for a moment "Well, duties aside, i'm here to make sure of something. The emperial loyalists are busy. I need to know whether we have Bastions support." She said. The minister had a weird expression for a moment. "They always have. You shouldn't need to ask..." The minister said. "Orders are orders... Thank you for your time Minister Verindoris." Fina said with a bow, backing away, turning and leaving the throne room to head back to her ship.
Fina sighed walking through the halls of the Palace. She didn't know why she was even here. Of course they would still offer their support... They were originally loyalist, so why would bastion not be now? In either case, she had to get going... She was wasting time.

"Like, I'm almost there!" Freya called out, racing to her craft, frantically speaking into her comm.
~*~
"I'm on my way," Gunther called back into his own comm, with the Force guiding his legs with an extra burst of speed.

(Easy enough to see.) A voice came to Gunther."Congratulations, you've passed your Knighting challenge, but left it has with something to think about. But first, before you can be knighted, survive we must."It was his masters voice, Jaron. The small jawa was rushing through the base, making sure people got to the ship safely. Around him, other jedi that had joined the GLF were also assisting with the evacuation, other jedi still were joining some of the GLF on the ships.
One jedi in particular, Graus Dur'gun, stood in the central command center, listening closely to orders that an ex-imperial knight shouted out."We need to focus more on getting the troops out than dispersing them, l sudjest we use the elite troops to cover our rear as the rest retreat. Only the most needed should stay behind for the final transport."

Gunther turned to the odd voice, recognizing it as Jaron. "You are correct, Master Vrook." he declared, taking the black and gold weapon in hand, with his thumb on the actuator. How did he know? he mentally asked himself, before dismissing the thought. "Let us make ready to evacuate this place,"

The tunnels were chaotic with motion. Soldiers moved towards the front, personel to the back. Jaden made note to duck in and out (not forgetting the occasional kill when it was suitable). At the end of one of the hallways, the tunnel branched into several spots.
"Where's a rat when you need one?" Jaden asked, exposed in the middle of a junction. One of the ways led to the hangar, he was sure, but foreign as it may be, there was always hope. The blueprints the spy had extracted would prove useful; unfortunately it said that he was located in a rather large boulder instead.
Just as he was about to swear, something else picked up. A signature in the force, a young flame like his own, but distasefully good. "Jedi," he snarled, preparing for whatever came his way.

Gunther stopped at the junction, his thumb ready to draw if needed. Sith? he thought, frowning. He also frowned at a few bodies who seemed to have been killed by lightsaber. It must be. Surely a Lord of the Sith leads the assault outside?
And then, his comm buzzed again. "Gunther! I'm like totally in the Ballet warming up the engines! Get to your ride A.S.A.P., and help out who you can. Iria is also like totally looking for you, as well!"
"Yes, Freya," Gunther said, "I have some business to take care of here first, then I shall be on my way," he added before closing his comm.
And with that, he halted his purposeful stride, bringing his un-ignited hilt to a defensive position, considered to be the basis of Soresu.

Kren laughed and yelled at Jaden " Yeah i take the heaviest defended one... with pleasure" The troops be fore him were nothing but feeorin food in krens mind. Kren charged the tunnel with reckless abandonment and slashed and gashed and blasted his way through with ease, rend bodies parts from their person. occasionally he stopped and yelled " number 85...86...87..." as he tallied the men he killed. Kren had a very sick and twisted sense of humor. he reached a junction and saw that there was a group of entrenched troops. kren flipped his visor open and snapped a gaze and stunned all of them. Kren walked over to them and tied them up. He attached a thermal detonator to each of there hands. He smiled and looked at them "I sure do love a good explosion" and as he walked away he tripped the remote detonator and blew every single one of them into tiny bits of human and sentient remains. "ahh i will only count that as one, 88..." kren said with a laugh flicked his visor down and started up the other tunnel. After that he felt some sort of tremor he hadnt felt in a while. it was a jedi. Kren had to find the source of this oddity in his mind. the light side source put a more pep in his step as he charged down the hall. Kren now was jedi hunting with plaguetroopers in his wake.

An explosion sounded, and Gunther felt more deaths through the Force. This is terrible, he silently mused, as his sunny yellow blade snap-hissed to life, feeling more dark presenses.

Jaden stared at the hallway. He knew which one to go down, feeling the presence. Sprinting at full speed, he did not know for how long it would be, but jedi or no jedi, it was a race to the end of the line.
He gave a slight chuckle, as he sprinted towards the distant life forces down the hall.

" We can't wait any longer. " Angel said, the Heaven's Fury's shields nearing critical. " Are we ready for our big finale? " the Mandalorian asked. One of the bridge officers responded. " We're still waiting on the last few... There. All groups reporting everything's ready, Sir. " " Light 'em up. " Angel ordered. Suddenly, the Heaven's Fury turned to leave, and all its fighters started flying towards random enemy targets for a brief moment, before they all fired all their payloads of warheads and countermeasures, then immediately flew straight back to the hangars as the battlecruiser suddenly started firing all its weapons in a jury-rigged rapid-fire manner. It was a brilliant fireworks display, hoping to crush whatever they could as they left the area behind a wave of chaotic destruction. The battlecruiser made its way back into space and hypered away. " All weapons offline. Shields at critical. No hull damage. We've also depleted our entire payload of warheads. " came the status report. " You suppose we did enough? " Angel asked her 2nd in command. " I hope so. Our little stunt may have decimated a large chunk of our uninvited guests, or we might not have hit a damn thing. With any luck, we at least caused enough confusion for the others to get out if they're just now leaving. " " Well, we've done all we can. I just hope it was enough. See to it the engineering crews get to needed repairs once we exit hyperspace. I'll be in my cabin. " Angel said, as she left the bridge.

Iria gave a pensive frown as she felt deaths through the Force. "Sir Gunther, I hope that you are all right," she sadly said, her hand going to her silvery black hilt, even as she paced near the Omega-class shuttle that was now Gunther's transportation.

It irked the flaming green and yellow plaid pattern Nine Hells out of Freya. Alas, retreat seemed to be the only viable option, as she took her pilot's seat in the Aldera Ballet, only happy that at least the engines were warm and ready to run. She then flicked on the comm, which somehow managed to relay her words to the base intercom.
"Everybody! This is Freya Starsinger," she announced. "Whatever else you do, totally get your butts on your transports, and like totally high tail it out of here!"
And then, she dialed the frequency for Shark Squadron. "Like, yah! Are any of you guys totally there?"
