Xiaeriene brought up another barrier to meet the waves, feeling a new power, as if she was being supplied an endless amount of energy for her barriers. "SO....WHAT!"She sent the waves back at the Emperor, at the same time she took one hand off of the barrier, and began charging her staff up with the other

"Do you know how one vanquishes a daemon or a devil to truly kill it? I do. And no barrier can prevent it. All it requires is the daemon's name and a Warp Stone. Both of which I have in my possession at this very moment." He teleported behind her smashing the head of the hammer into the back of her rib cage. "I could kill your body and send your soul into the Warp with a word and a strike."

Xiaeriene took the force of the hit fully, and fell to her knees. She coughed up blood, and turned to face the Emperor as she forced herself to get up "I am not afraid of your threats....*cough*.......I told you, I will not lose this battle!" She focused, holding the staff. Suddenly, the glow faded, and she fell to the ground unconscious.
The arena was now in a Time Still, and Sora stood over her, a sad look in his eyes "That is enough, from both of you. By the powers of Eternity, I Catalyxe, forbid this to go on any further" Sora turned to the Emperor with a soulless, stony gaze "She has come very far in so little time. Yet time we have not, the threat of The End looms like a black cloud on a bright sunny day, the drawing of Nothingness comes ever closer. She cannot die, we will not allow it. The Will of Eternity has spoken." He looked down at Xiaeriene, and her wounds instantly healed

"Your warriors should be more disciplined. She has resolve, but she is weak. That combination is dangerous, not only for herself but those around her. Daemon, she's your daughter I assume. Fill her in about her lineage."

Sora gazed at the Emperor without expression "You forget your place, lower being. Do not forget, you yourself, are one of ours. You are the God-Emperor by right, we shall take that right away from you, if we deem it neccessary. It is not neccessary for us to intervene with your war, but this child, she is neccessary to prevent The End. She has acheived the powers of Eternity, but, she lacks the discipline and wisdom to fully utilize those powers. You shall be her teacher, to learn her in the ways of wisdom and discipline. There is no other for her. And she shall be your Key to Success, she will be flower that brings new life to a dying world. There is no other for you. We Eternity, have willed it so. We Eternity, shall see it come to pass"

"No. I know my place. It's you who don't know yours. As soon as my world becomes important for you and your 'mission' it becomes critical that there's peace. What of the billions of lives that were wasted until you deemed it 'necessary' that this war be ended after 138 years? Opportunists have no place telling me what to do or how to rule. Oh may! Existence is threatened. My people's very existence has been threated since this war started. Your urgency has no meaning here. And I'm sure you'll just abandon this world's importance once your own power has been resecured and leave my people to deal with an even larger problem. I will not bow my head to the likes of you or who you work for. I'll do as I see fit in ruling over my people and fighting this conflict you so recently deemed so important. You conflict has little meaning to my people or to me."

Sora gazed into the Emperor's eyes, expressionless. Instantly, the Emperor's Hammer disappeared from his hands "Do not flatter yourself, lower physical being. You are nothing more than a minute part of Eternity's flow. You think highly of yourself, yet you forget there are higher powers that may destroy yours. Observe" He held out his hand, and a visual appeared, of Hallas, chained to a wall, being subjected to torture by the Maid guards. "This girl is your Niece, the daughter of your elder sister who once existed before you were even brought into existence. Up until a few hours ago you did not even know she existed, yet even now you prepare to send out a team to rescue her. Yes, We know everything. We are, everything. Even you, are a part of us, a part of Eternity, though you be of a physical body, your existence is a part of it as well. You who have lived for over thirty millenia, are but a newborn child to us, for we are without age, without end. Is is we who have been, ever since the creation of existence, and the Eternal Will created a plan. You are too young to know, of a time when a war was fought in this world, over a being known as Catalyxe. That being was one of my physical entities used to watch over Eternity, and the power of that entity was sought after. The war decimated this world, until one woman rose up and brought peace to this world. She was the Incarnation of the Pillar of Control, and it was she who sealed away the Bangle, in the ruins of the original capitol. An instant after the hammer disappeared it had reappeared. "Don't flatter yourself. There is no eternity. Time is a sentient being's creation. The universe as a whole will end. And so will you and your kind. I may be a being of flesh and blood. But at least I'm not an opportunistic failure. My head is planted firmly in reality. I know of the conflict of which you're kind are trying to battle, and are losing. You're too full of yourselves to actually see your own faults. You're not eternity. Your just beings who think they are. You only act when your power is threatened. Just like now. And you rely on creatures who know nothing nor care anything about your goals. That's why you couldn't stop this. Nor could your kind stop the Necron. The Necron are on almost every world in this universe as proof of your failure. The ancient alien race known as the Eldar defeated them and drove them into dormancy. We have their records. Your myth to Glorify my mother and yourselves is nothing but. You're far from omnipotent."

Sora continued his advance, taking on the form of the Emperor himself, complete with the Hammer, which was not simply a copy, but as much the real deal as the true Emperor's "Your words are but sound, nothing more than a physical sensory perception. If you think so highly of yourself, then prove your worth, child"

"If you believe it so, then you too, shall end" The entire arena vanished, as the Emperor was taken out of the realm, into a limbo between realms. the place was all white, and nothing, not even a sound, could be heard. Catalyxe took on the form of Shlag, and now communicated directly with the Emperor's mind "Your words are simply that, words. Without the means to back them up, they become meaningless the moment they leave your lips, mere sound waves traveling through air. You think, but you do not know. You presume, rather than understand. You feign charisma, while you anger easily. Such is the ways of all physical lower beings. If existence should fade, and Nothingness revert, then we will recreate Existence, to begin anew. Eternity does indeed exists, whether you believe it or not." Catalyxe transformed again, taking on the form of a Necron.
Xiaeriene was in a dream, a dream where she was having tea with her father. Suddenly, she awoke, and found herself lying in a pool of endless white. She looked up to see a large monster of some sort facing the Emperor. She summoned her staff and ran in front of the Emperor, blocking him from the beast. She was leaning forward, and it was obvious she was still very weak "I don't know what is going on here, but I will not let you touch my grandfather! You will have to get through me!" She was trembling, but she stood firm.
Catalyxe took on the form of Cyrus, and his voice echoed, speaking directly into the minds of both the Emperor and Xiaeriene. "Foolish child, you understand nothing" Instantly, she was a few feet away, speared in three places by the three portions of her staff. "You both refuse to accept the truth, and by feigning pride you bring about your own self destruction. Everything will go as Eternity will's it so" Czatalyxe transformed again, this time taking on teh form of Nuba

The Emperor's voice broke the silence in an ear shattering roar. "You will not persuade me with lies!" A shock wave tore from the Emperor. The white melted away and they were back in his realm. This time, time was moving forward but at a far slower pace. The diguise the being bore was also destroyed. "Do you not understand? You may not be beings of the flesh, but you have no infinite knowledge. You know nothing. This crisis proves that. But when people begin to lose faith. Your power slowly dwindles and you have no control over the minds of any lesser beings. You may be able to speak into the minds of sentient beings. But that means nothing. You only show up when you deem it dangerous to your control or when you are losing your power. These are the times when your power is nothing. And you rely on us lesser beings. You have no power to call your own. We are your power. You're manipulators and are lower than dirt. Without lower beings, you don't exist. You can deny it all you want. But it's true and you know it is."

Xiaeriene smiled weakly to the Emperor "Nobody could have said it more perfectly, gramps" She grunted, and yanked the pieces of her staff from her body. The monster was now replaced by what appeared to be a glowing ball of white light. She walked over and stood next to the Emperor "You may be the very essence of all existence, but, our lives are not set in stone. We are free to shape our own paths, regardless of what is willed by Existence, for that is the true Eternal Will. It may be unknown, and it may even intimidate me at times, but" She looked up to the Emperor "I will face it with my head held high, with my heart to guide me, and I will shape my own destiny!"
