((Forget this, I'm being Shino.))
Shino walked down the street and stopped in front of Kiba's door. He reached out and knocked on the door. AS he waited, he pulled his jacket closer. It was a little nippy that day. Shino raised an eyebrow as he thought he heard voices from inside the house. He knew that Kiba's mother wasn't home and he had a hunch that Kiba's older sister would be at her boyfriend's house. Curiosity got the best of him and he pushed open the door.
"Kiba, I for-" he stopped mid-sentence when he saw Kiba on top of Kankurou. A blush crept across his face and his eyes widened. Why does this always happen? Jesus...note to self: Stop feeling for the people who seem to like each other. Kankurou and Kiba, never would have guessed it.
Shino seemed to be a bit depressed after seeing that, "I forgot something here yesterday. Sorry for interrupting...whatever you were doing." Great, now I really am going to be alone tonight. Why does my house have to be so creepy at night?'Um, Kiba, I know you probably want to spend tonight with Kankurou, but, do you mind if I stay here tonight. I'll stay in the basement or something."

Kankuro looked over at Shino when he had come in, and was a little shocked at first. When Shino directed a question at Kiba, he gentle pulled out from the other and grabbed another slice of pizza. It would be Kiba's choice to let Shino stay. "We still have lots of pizza..." He murmered, as if food would be an issue if Shino stayed. "He could also take over the bed, or something... I dont mind the floor. " He then added. Even though he was a bit uncomfortable around Shino, if Kiba wanted him to stay, he didnt mind. Not like he had much of a choice, anyways.

Shino had a nervous habit of toying with the edge of his sleeve. He started picking at the hem of his shirt and he looked at the ground. He knew that Kankurou had never really felt comfortable around him. No one ever really did. No one except Kiba. Everyone thought the boy's attraction to bugs was frightening and disgusting, landing him in the loser/freak title at High School. He decided to stay quiet most of the time so no one could pick out anything to make fun of him with. It worked perfectly. Shino was invisible to the world. He looked back up at Kankurou. He was glad that the other hadn't stayed the way he did. It would have been a little too much for the 'bug-nerd'.
He could tell by the way that Kankurou moved about that he was probably only causing trouble and tension here, but, he didn't want to be alone. He never did. But, in the end, he always ended up alone. His 'friends' always had other things to do, his fellow pupils thought he was a freakish thing and the teachers just looked right through him. Life was pretty much empty. Shino had daydreams and such just like everyone else. He felt just like everyone else, he wanted to be excepted just like everyone else, but, his daydreams never lasted long. They always turned to nightmares. Much like this moment. He had been dreaming about how happy Kiba would be to see him. Right until he opened the door and saw the other on top of Kankurou. Shino looked back to the ground and decided to stare intently on a crumb of some sort that was on the floor, awaiting Kiba's verdict in silence.

Kiba blinked at Shino. "Hey!" He grinned, tottaly unaware of the tensin between his two friends. He stood up from the floor and dusted himself off. "Sure! Are we still going trick or treating tomorrow, though? Come on. You can have some pizza!" He ran over and pulled Shino into the house. "And we can share the couch like we did when Hinata slept over that one time cause Neji was being a total jerk to her. ANd Kankuro can still have the bed then."

Kankuro made it a point not to say anything, or possibly storm off with that comment. "I'll be right back..." He muttered, casually walking out of the room afted putting his partially eaten pizza slice on a plait. He quickly found the bathroom near Kiba's room and disappeared into it, feeling a touch of jealousy at the thought of Shino and Kiba together. He gave a bit of a sigh and turned on the sink, washing his face. Why did he suddenly have to start having feelings for his childhood friend?

Shino gave Kiba is outwardly small smile. Inside he could feel the battle begin. He knew that Kankurou had felt for Kiba. He could see it in the other's eyes. And doing this was probably rising Kankurou's dislike for him even greater. He had no idea what to do, but, he hoped he didn't ruin everythign between any of them, "Yes. I already have my costume and I have nothing else to do." Shino closed his eyes, reminiscing, "I still haven't forgiven him for that."

"Speaking of Neji, I think he and Gaara are going out. I'll go get another blanket. Oh and guess what! Whtch out for a dog! Mom or Hana got a puppy for me!" Kiba grinned as he ran to his room. On his way back to the living room he stopped in front of the door to the bathroom. He thought about if he should ask the other if he was ok but thought different and finished going to the living room. He placed the second pillow on the couch. "I think it would be ok if you and I share a blanket."

((XP Well, I'm a retard. I missed the Gaara and Temari post waaay back on 14 and have been waiting for nothing! sweatdrop Soooorry....er, I'll do that now XDD))
Deidara grinned, grabbing Gaara's hand. "C'mon, food, un!!" he cheered perkily, and tugged the boy out the door and downstairs, and crashing into Temari at the bottom.
"Ack!" the blonde yelped, falling forwards and accidentally pulling Gaara down as well. "Sorry, Temari-neechan, un!"

Shino nodded, "All right. We can share. I'll be right back." Shino walked up the stairs and to the bathroom. He rapped on the door with the back of his knuckle, "Hey, are you all right?" he said barely over a whisper. He knew something was up and he knew that it was his fault. He hated it!
"I hope you are decent because I'm coming in." There was no asking involved, just a statement. It was so unlike Shino that it startled even himself. He opened the door and looked at Kankurou sitting on the toilet seat. His face fell, "Look, I'm sorry...I can see that I ruined something between the two of you. I just...I didn't mean to make you upset." Shino shifted so Kankurou wouldn't be able to see his face, "You probably hate me now, don't you?"

Kiba sighed and sat down on his table. He had seen his two best friends, both his old, childhood one and his new one, that he had made because it had seemed that his old friend had no longer wanted to be best friends. He had noticed that they had both been rather uncomfurtable around each other and around him just now. Oh no!!! They both hated him!!!!!!! Kiba pouted at the thought and hid his face behind his hands.
