Davie_Diamond Diamond accepted the training saber from his Master without any apprehension and took several steps back so as not to hurt anyone wile using it. As he stood there taking in this honour, he began to move the hilt of the blade around in his hand to get a feel for it. The hilt wasn't as heavy as he expected but heavy enough, he was not going to let this get in his way though. At that Diamond activated the saber and a piercing ray of blue light came from the hilt of the weapon. To Diamond the blade was everything he had ever hoped to achieve and he was almost there he felt. He now took the Form I fighting stance and began maneuvering in the blade from side to side and stabbing forward with it. These movements were basic but he knew he must do these before trying anything else. After several more movements like these Diamond decided to try some combination moves, these moves ranged from diagonal slashes into full stabbing blows to simple spinning movements. He knew in the real fighting environment these moves would be virtually useless but it gave him a chance to practice with his training saber. As he finished he turned and looked at Kari, "Sure I'm ready Kari. Lets show our Master what we are capable of."Though in the back of her mind Kari wasn't sure if all she got was going to do anything. She had no real idea of what she was doing but she wanted to learn, and the want to learn passed any amount of fear she might have been feeling. Kari walked over the face Diamond, she stood about 8-9 feet away and bowed. Now her fear was begining to grow and she knew she needed to control it. Remember nothing and really hurt you, Kari said to herself, which did help some.Kari moved her saber so it was pointing up and with both hands on it close to her body. Not really knowing any fighting style she was making it up as she went. Kari took a deep breath and exhaled, trying to calm herself. Calming her mind was harder now then it was before, she started to concentrate on the force and it helped her calm her mind. As she concentrated she took a deep breath and exhaled and could feel the fear leave her. Kari looked up at Diamond and smiled.When ever your ready. Kari said to Diamond and waited for him to make the first move.

Adonis walked to his ship and got in. He flew it up into the air around the temple and found the temple's ship landing dock. He lowered it onto the dock, got out, and removed his luggage from the ships storage hatch. He walked through a door to the temple, and began descending down the stairs. He arrived in the main hall, where he saw many padawans such as himself, walking around and talking.
It's good to be back home. He thought to himself. He walked up another stairway, one that led to the living quarters. The first two floors seemed to already be full, so as he came upon the third floor, which was much quieter, he walked along the corridor and soon found an empty room.
It is good to be back home. He thought again, as he began to unpack his items.

Guilyn Ok, I'll give it all i got.Though in the back of her mind Kari wasn't sure if all she got was going to do anything. She had no real idea of what she was doing but she wanted to learn, and the want to learn passed any amount of fear she might have been feeling. He walked up to til he was about 8-9 feet away, he turned and bowed to Master Swex and Glacian respectively. He finally turned to face Kari and bowed respectfully to her. "I hope your ready Kari cause I ain't holding back"Although he was trying to act tough to intimidate her he added a wink to reassure her that everything was going to be ok. At that he activate the blade, the shimmering ray of blue energy appeared and he took to the Form V fighting stance. He knew his master had said Form I only but he wanted to test his own skills and help Kari with hers. Diamond slowly walked within saber length of Kari and waited patiently for her to swing, she eventually did and using his saber blocked her swing. The sound of clashing blades echoed around the room and almost encouraged Diamond to work harder. With one handed blows he started to strike at Kari but each blow was blocked more efficently than the blow before. He knew he couldn't keep using one handed swings indefinitely so switched adding his free hand to the hilt of the saber for better defense. Her defenses were impressive and he knew he had to do something to make her lose control so he switched to defense and wait her to strike out at him...

Kari was suprised, not only by how good Diamond was at combat, but also how well she was doing. Her concentration during the duel wasn't as much as it was with the boxes, but she could feel that there was something helping her. Blocking all of Diamonds hits was hard, but it had got easier the longer she did, however he was no longer attacking. Kari then went on the offencive and attempted to hit Diamond. Kari attempted a swing from the right was easily blocked by Diamond, she again swung and it got her nowhere. His defence was as good as his offence, she didn't know what she could do, but the challange made her try harder. Kari went on trying to hit Diamond, and with each swing she seemed to be better then the last, however so was Diamond defence improving. Kari went back to a defencive stance, hoping he would try to attack again. However after a many moments it was clear he was not going to attack. Kari then choose to try something a little crazy, and went for an all out offencive to try to catch him off guard...

Glacian watched as Diamond and Kari dueled and was impressed at how fast they grasped the basics. It made him wonder if they truely had no previous saber training or experience. It also made him want a match even more, he wanted to try out his form III against the obvious form V that Diamond was using. Glacian thought strategically and calculating about his learning of different forms. He figure that after form one, he learned the basics of both forms II and III, and then began to work on his form III.
Once he became schooled in form III he would continue with form II. After that, with the combined knowldge of forms II and III, form V would be easier to understand and he would be able to master if faster than the previous two. After that he wanted to learn form IV. He was still not sure he dare try form VII, if he ever got that far. He didn't plan on mastering every form, but he wanted to be experienced in them at the least.
"I would like to fight the winner if that suits you Master Swex," Glacian said respectfully.

"Don't be foolish, Ashandi! No need to apologize. Actually, I'm glad you're here. Master Sephiroth and I were just talking about you," Volt stepped behind Ashandi and placed his hands gently on Ashandi's shoulders, then said, "Master Sephiroth, this is Ashandi. Ashandi, meet Master Sephiroth."

Himiosho_Watanuki He had just entered tthe acadamy through the large doors and his breath was takin away from the amasing size of the acadamy. He thought he would never make it here. he always wanted to come here and train to be a jedi just like his father. "This place is amazing!I wonder who my master will be."He walked father into the acdamy and looked around he barley osaw anyone. So he stood there waiting to be greeted.

Actually, Master Volt, I am rather busy right now.
Sephiroth looked as a young Twil''lek girl, having sped down the stairs and collided with Volt. As she was introduced to him, Sephiroth bowed to her, smiling slightly at her clumsiness.
Greetings. I wish you the best of luck with your training.
Sephiroth bowed once again, this time directing it at the both of them. He needed to get back to "protecting the galaxy" and had no more time for interuptions, especially after the day''s events.
If you''ll exucse me, I need to be off now. A pleasure to meet you, Ashandi.
Sephiroth turned and hastily decended the final steps down the tower. He headed to a large console, reading through the many, many pleas for aid from almost every planet under the Republic''s control.

Zeth thought long and hard about earlier, what had happend with him and Master Volt. He was not making sense and that set him and Volt off on the wrong foot. The last thing Zeth wanted to do the first day of the Temple opening was make enimes with the Masters.
He watched Kari and Diamond spar with thier training sabers, then looked down at his incomplete saber. He griped it tighter, arising from his seat and descended the stairs where he noticed Volt was heading.
"I pretty much made my future here at the temple.....but the least I can do is set things straight with Master Volt"
As he reached the destination, he saw Mast Volt with another Padawan, maybe this was the Ashandi he mentioned earlier. He clipped the saber hilt to his belt and made his way over to Master Volt, all business on his mind and wanting to eliminate any hatred between them
"Excuse my interuption Master Volt, but......I must speak with you when you are able."

Swex leans back to the wall, into meditation. Noone ever said you had to sit to do that, and Swex preferred doing it standing. It gave him a more aware look, so his opponents might think he was just standing there and watching them....

*Jani sat In his new Quarters Trying to comprehend why after almost 6 years of waiting he had still not found a master. was it possible he was not destined to become a Jedi? or was It that he always had...Other things on his mind. He thought for a while and eventually fell asleep*

Volt glanced at Zeth from the corner of his eyes and sighed, removing his hand from Ashandi's shoulders while turning his body around to face Zeth. "What's on your mind, Zeth? Do you wish to argue some more, or have you finally come to your sense? If you're going to argue with me, don't bother... I mean," he said, finally realizing how aggressive he's been towards the new Padawans today, "forgive me, Zeth. I shouldn't have scolded at you like I did. I shouldn't have scolded at Kyle either... It's funny how we, as Masters and Knights, tend to forget that we were once Padawans ourselves. Anyway... What did you want to talk about?"

"I feel it is I who should apologize....I've been arrogant since my accident. Thinking A Master, who has been with the Jedi for years, is A Sith. I should've known my place before I casted blame on one another.....and, Kari has found A Master and I guess I was alittle jealous of her. I just wanted to tell you that."
Zeth sighed and held out his hand to Volt, trying his best to smile and forget what happend earlier

Volt stared down at Zeth's hand and cocked an eyebrow, then reached out, grabed it, and then shook it. "I think I might have already found a worthy Apprentice... That is, if she would take me as a Master." He let go of Zeth's hand and turned to Ashandi, then said, "The choice is yours..."
