Leon jerked back wildly at the hair-tugging perscom, wincing in pain. "Ow, stop! I get it! To mountain to free Inferno and Lonewolf!" He placed his hand firmly on Violet to prevent her from ripping out his hair and took a deep breath, "Wait. They have Inferno?! How can that be? Violet, explain while we're traveling ok?" He walked out calmly as he could through the crowd, trying not to alert anyone to the being on top of his head.

(sorry guys)
Violet twitched as she played the recording of the creepy woman who killed Lonewolf's teacher and kept her master and Inferno in bondage. She replayed herself breaking Lone from his cell, the man in the mask leaving the castle, Locke sitting outside the back of the castle patiently, loyally.
"We have to get their quick! She's a baaaaaaad lady!"
(We're getting into finals and big papers and projects, etc. gomennasai minna-san! )

((gah...it's been a month since the last post?! I better get my butt moving >_>; ))
Leon watched the video being replayed while manuevering through the crowd, finally quickly turning into a small alley. He scanned the two enterances and leaped upward onto the roof. "Hang on tight Violet!" said Leon as he jumped from one building to another rapidly to the forest and to the mountains where his old comrade-in-arms awaited him.

Inferno followed Lionheart through the city, carrying Lonewolf with him. The invisiblity spell of lionheart's worked well. Inferno noticed the damage to the city. It was pretty much restricted to one part of the city, it was easy to see where the demons attacked. Lionheart arrived at his place and Inferno carried Lonewolf inside. Upon entering, the invisiblity spell wore off. Inferno placed Lonewolf on the couch, then sat on the floor, leaning against the heat radiator.
"Hey Lionheart, you got anything to eat here?"
Inferno was obviously tired in pain. He hadn't critized Lionheart's place, plus he didn't call him Leon. The flight into town took out the last of Inferno's energy. He was too tired to be a jerk.

"Rayl?" But no one every replied to Kinera's calls. She had been looking for her brother sine they had gotten separated but to no avail. The young girl was at the sibling's house now which had suprisingly recieved only minor damage from the attack. She sighed and slowly sank down onto the couch in the living room. No Rayl. When she did find him, he would be in for the beating of his life!
"Or is it becoming 'if' now?" Kinera asked the empty house. She had not bothered to turn on any lights yet, it was possible their power didn't even work anymore and at this point. She didn't care. School would be hell for the next week or so. "Maybe he's somewhere in the city still and I just missed him?" The girl stood, combed the house for her jacket and a working flashlight, then set out again in search of her missing sibling.

Leon nodded as he brought out two spare blankets and fluffy pillows, "Yeah. I hope you can still eat anything like Ocarina. I don't exactly have the best food in the city." He placed the sleeping items next to Inferno and pointed the necessary areas of the house. "Kitchen's to the left and bathroom's to the right of the hallway. As for your sleeping area...well, I only have one extra bed in another room. I expect Shadow to come by after she's done finding those kids safe and sound. So..uh...I guess you get the floor or couch here."

Police and firemen ran frantically around the disaster area, vanquishing the deadly flames and gathering surviors from the horrible ordeal. Kenji had already escaped the area, remembering what Mr. Leon had told them, "Whatever you do, don't let anyone see you using your powers." Sighing, the teen made his way home, relieved that nothing had happened to it. He quietly opened the front door and stepped into the dark hallway supcious of the situation, "Mom..Dad?"

Shadow transformed back into her human form, looking around for the three charges that she had come to acquire from just a few days ago. "If I were any of them, where would I be?.." the dragon mused in her mind as she walked around the disaster area, her person camoflagued (sp?) within the crowd.

Inferno got up shakly and staggered to the kitchen. He grabbed a few apples that were getting old and swallowed them whole. He opened up the pantry (sp*) and grabbed a can of beans. He bit the top of the metal can off and ate the beans raw out of the can. Finally, he went to the sink and turned it on, drinking the tap water stright from the faucet. Afterwards, he staggered back to the living room and leaned against the radiator.
"I'll talk to you when I wake up." Inferno said as he succumed to his tiredness and fell asleep on the floor against the heat radiator.

Leon shrugged and placed a pillow next to Inferno if he would ever use it, "Well better get started on healing Lonewolf." the dragoon muttered to himself as he lifted his captain to the spare bedroom and began casting his support spells while Lonewolf laid on the bed with Violet right besides him.

Spotting a flickering light in the living room, Kenji wearily creeped over, peering into the room. Several candles had been lit, illuminating the living space and revealing a small girl in fetal (sp?) position. "Rose, what are you doing? Where's mom and dad?" Kenji asked as he stepped into the light, momentarily frightening her. "They went to look for you for about thirty minutes now. Where did you go? It was really scary..." "Nevermind about that. Stay here and hide yourself until we come back. I'm going to find them now." Kenji left the room, despite his little sister's protests, and exited the house, looking around before running back into the city.

"Rayl?!" Kinera managed to call out before nearly choking on the smoke. She was near the destruction hoping to find her brother somewhere possibly helping others. Possibly. The girl continued on searching every dark area with her flashlight refusing to go home untill she found her brother. Then she caught the glimp of something with white hair. "Rayl!" Kinera got hopeful for a moment, but that quickly disappeared when once she got closer she found the white-haired person was a woman.
"Who's Rayl?" Inka asked before coughing from the thick smoke. She had come to Cliffside but didn't expect to find part of the city in ruin. And other disturbing things.... But getting back to the point: why was a kid wondeirng around in this war zone at night alone?
"That's my brother's name. He's gone missing and I thought you were him for a moment. Sorry."

After a few hours of sleep Inferno woke up. The heat from the radiator was blissful for the worn fire demon. Inferno looked around to make sure Lionheart wasn't in the room. He grabbed the blanket and pulled out a sutra with a spell written on it. He slapped the paper on the blanket and it turned into a dark black cloak. Inferno put the cloak next to him for easy access. He wasn't going to be stuck in lionheart's place for week. Inferno went back to sleep, waiting for morning to come so they could formulate a plan.

Minutes seemed like hours to Kenji as he searched semi-frantically for his parents. "Ok. Don't panic. If I were them, where would I be?..." He stopped in his tracks and shook his head in frustration, "How the hell should I know? I'm not them." People passed by him, some in a hurry, some in a desperate rush, and some were just walking back, chattering about what just exploded in quiet Cliffside city. Willing his legs back into action, Kenji went towards the destruction, thinking that he just saw someone familiar. The smoke somewhat obscured his vision but he could make out Kinera and someone else in the area. "Kinera? Is that you?" He shouted. At least he won't be alone in the task of searching for his family.

It has been quite sometime now since Leon had left Lonewolf to recuperate in quiet senerity. The excitement of the incident earlier from today was only a soft buzz in the background. Leon scretched his arms and retired to his room, which was barely decorated except for ancient photos of the past hanging on the wall and the small computer desk he purchased in order to keep up with the times. Quietly lying on the bed, Leon continued to formulate the counter-attack plan half-asleep from the over-dued excerise four hundred years old.

"Huh, that sounds like.... Hey! Kenji!" Kinera made her way quickly over to her classmate, dragging the other woman with her. "Hey, have you seen my brother? I can't find him anywhere and I'm beginning to worry. You don't think anything bad happened to him right?" Kinera was worried, even if her classmate couldn't tell through the smoke.
"I'm sure he's all right but let's get out of this smoke. We wont find your brother if was can barely see," the woman piped up. The "responsible" thing would be helping these two out or at least getting them home safely.

Kenji was starting to get a headache from the smoke so he motioned them towards the fresh air, shouting over the smoke to guide them, "No I haven't seen Rayl around! I thought he was with you! And who's that person with you? A friend?"

Kinera's heart sank as she and Inka followed the sound of Kenji's voice. She didn't speak again till they reached smoke-free air. "Oh, she's um..." the girl turned and frowned. She had no idea who the woman was. Kinera was certain she wasn't from around here by the way she was dressed and the fact she was armed.
"I'm not a foe," the woman replied, "My name's Inka."
"I'm Kinera, and that's Kenji. Inka and I ran into each other a moment ago."

*Max stumbles out from a smoking alleyway.*
"Oh my Gosh...what the hell is going on. AHHHHH"
A sharp pain shoots up Max's back as he straightens up. he feels slowly over his shoulder and removes a chunk of metal from his upper back.
"Geez, what the hell..."
He keeps walking around looking at the destruction.
