Hey guys! I'm Jas! I'm a total bibliophile. I'm always browsing the books sub-forum.

I'll read virtually anything. All genres--whatever someone recommends. My favorite genres are probably fantasy and science fiction. I am a huge fan of Dan Brown, and Orson Scott Card. Scott Westerfeld isn't bad either. For the most part, though, I'll read anything. I've read so many books by so many authors, I can't possibly remember them all.

Hello. ~waves~ I love reading, but I hate when teachers force you to read books, that quite frankly, suck. Any of you Shakespeare fans out there, I'm sorry, but he has the worst books ever! His books make me want to rip my hair out. My favorite genres of books are fantasy, and umm, novels. (I believe that's the name you'd call them. And if not, it's close enough)

Hey all! I'm Floatey, and I live in the pages in my books. My favorite author is Tamora Pierce, and I also like Mercedes Lackey. I mostly read Fantasy, but I'll read other stuff too.

Hi I'm Disque, my favorite writers are probably Camus and Hemingway. Also a big fan of Proust. My favorite books are "The Stranger" "The Plague" "Blindness" and "A Farewell to Arms". The books that impacted my life the most are Siddhartha, Homo Faber, and The Alchemist.

My favorite place to read is outside, whether a bench, patio, porch or under a tree, if it's raining I'm usually reading in my bed.

Right now I'm currently reading "Children of Men" by PD James. Other than that I'm just a mild mannered college student who enjoys traveling and hitting up the beach on weekends when the weather is nice and I don't have too much to do. I'm also a huge fan of film and Shakespeare.

Hello, as you can see I'm tartan_skirt. I was invited by Fantasy Moon because I'm a member of Book and Reader forums too. I'm also a member over at Listal (and addicted to making lists and tagging, might I add). I've never been in a guild before, and am usually wary of them, but this looks like a lovely place. 3nodding

I love my books. I currently have 89 unread books sitting on my shelves and I buy more (mainly second hand) whenever I can. According to the number of books I read last year I get through about a book a week (not including manga and comics, and it all depends on size and time) but really wish I could read more. That can be hard at times though because I have school stuff to do.

My favourite authors include Garth Nix, Margaret Atwood, Jeffrey Eugenides, Iain Banks, and Irvine Welsh. I also love to read non-fiction and will usually pick up anything to do with Japan and China. Two of my favourite non-fiction books are Wild Swans by Jung Chang and The Good Women of China by Xinran.

I'm going to have more of a look about now. 3nodding

My name is kyuuketsuki4 but you should call my kyuu. My favourite book would be impossible to pick but one of my favourite authors is Anne Rice. I want to learn French, German, Italian, Arabic, Japanese, and Romanian and go into the CIA.

Greetings and salutations. I'm the BookWhore, but you can call me Beth. I run my own book guild and I was quite please to find this one as well. I read on average about a book a week. Most of the books I read are things that I'm reviewing for my hobby site, Book Fetish. I'm pretty open-minded with my choices but I tend to run most towards sci-fi, paranormal, fantasy, urban fantasy, true crime, and anything boring and historical. My favorite author for always and ever would be Anne Rice but I do have a large selections of other favs; Jacqueline Carey, Garth Nix, Katie McAlister, Jean Auel, J.K. Rowling.......I'll stop there. I might run out of room 3nodding

Hi! I'm Gravewoe or Lisa.
I'm 15 & Canadian and I live in Ontario.

Some of my favourite books are of the fantasy, sci-fi genre and my favourite authors are Stephen King and O.R. Melling.
I just finished reading 'Lisey's Story' by Stephen King and now I'm onto the Nicholas Seafort series.
I love to read! I read all the time. I have tons of books in my house and over 10 bookcases to hold them all. It help when your dad's a bookworm too and had the collection started already. 8D
I get in trouble a lot at school for reading instead of listening to the teacher. >.o I ought to stop that habit.
But yes! I usually read three books at a time since, yeah, I like variety.

I wish I knew who invited me here so I can thank them!

Hullo. I'm [ Painted ` Secrets ] but even I know that's a beast to type, so
call me Paise. [:

I love to read.
And write.
Voraciously on both counts, actually.

Historical fiction is my passion, again in both.
I'm currently trying to read Frank Delaney's Ireland.
I say trying because I keep having things come up that keep me from committing to it. ]:

I've already started posting on other forums.
+was too excited for her own good+ XD
Thank you again for having me, and I hope to see all of you around! =D

Hmm, I'm Kat, I just turned 15 and I've been a bibliophile since I could read. ^__^;; My favorite books are "Looking for Alaska" and "Walking Naked". I would suggest them both to anyone, teenager or not.
I live in Texas and am part of a small book club called BFF, Bowl of Fruit Friends (based on some crazy nicknames, all of which are fruits). We share books and suggest authors to each other, often getting together for the sole purpose of reading a new book or seeing a movie made from a good novel. (If you've ever sat in front of that group of girls that wouldn't shut up saying "oh my god I can't believe they did that" during Eragon.... I'm sorry I didn't say hello.) We also write, seperately and occasionally in collab (letter-story format).
