ElladanKenet "Anyway, I'd like a chance to test yours and your companion's skills. May I offer you a meal and fresher while I secure a proper candidate for a psychiatric evaluation?" Elladan reached down and pushed a button on his comlink. This informed his officers he needed one of his clones. ((Wrong Character.)) Liando Saluted to his Commander. "I will check up on things later Commander. I will be taking my Interceptor on a patrol run. If that is all right with you."((Writers Block))

Elladan reached down and pushed a button on his comlink. This informed his officers he needed one of his clones. "I do not share Bobs...psychiatric talents." Natalia had been forced to bite her tongue when Lindo began trying to mess with the Bee. Bob could handle things like that much better then she could. Where he informed in a sort of friendly way she probably would have dragged the offender away from the ship forcefully or at least spoken to him to harshly. She had a bad temper when it came to people monkeying around with things they didn't understand. Elladan noticed Natalia's worried looks at their ship. He smiled softly. "He will be punished, my dear. I do not lke rudeness at all."

Natalia looked at the Chis for a moment then nodded her expression slightly respectful. She didn't like the situation but there was nothing new about that. It was rare that she enjoyed anything outside of her shop's confines. "I'm a certified ships engineer and have worked with a number of civilian companies." She added after a moment, not mentioning the few military contracts she had also taken on. They had been for medical devices but she didn't like to mention them. It tended to give people the wrong idea about what she was willing to do.

Bob nodded to Elladan, " well then, keep in mind that my hypnotherapy session will take a few hours to complete, but afterwards I should be able to fix any problems....assuming no one interrupts me."

Natalia kept her expression blank but glanced in Bob's direction. She hadn't experienced his 'therapy' but had seen what it did to him. Are you sure you want to use that around them... you were pretty toasted after that one session. They might not respect your physical limits. Natalia was genuinely concerned, for reasons she didn't understand she believed that Bob could deliver on his promises but that didn't mean the empire would ask too much of him. Especially if he proved an effective solution to there problem.

Bob thought a response back to Natalia, his expression the same as ever (a smile). it shouldn't be a problem, if they try to force me I can simply fall over into an exhaustion induced coma. if they try to wake me from that, well...I'll roll over and go back to sleep. if worse comes to worse, it won't matter. at the least I'll have helped someone.

"I'm sure you've never had a subject as interesting as this one. You can take as long as you want with him, short of torture or leaving the vessel." He led them down a hallway to a meeting room. "There are cameras and securtiy, so please, don't test my trust. I won't think twice about gassing both of you and annihalating your ship."

Natalia did even blink at the statment. She'd expected a much though Elladan saying it out loud was a bit of a suprise. It was the sort of thing generally only implied by those in authourity, not stated directly.

((Since I'm currently not allowed to use the force therapy technique (which would wind up making this a MUCH longer post) I'm going to stick with diagnosis and actual hypnosis xp . oh...and since no one said anything to me, I'm making up stuff for the NPC. ))
Bob nodded to the 'random soldier' and sat down cross-legged on the floor. He then patted the area in front of him, motioning for the Soldier to sit across from himself. As the soldier sat down, Bob asked, " so, what's your name?"
The soldier replied, " I am TK-529, Soldier of the Empire." in mid sentence the soldier stopped and made a hail sign with his hand, " Long live muffin, the Cat-Emporer!"
Bob nodded a bit, " okay...that's fine...but I asked for your name please. Or, what you want to be called."
The soldier sat down across from Bob and pondered for a bit, then took off his helmet and leaned over to Bob. Whispering into his ear, " They never gave me a name, but I always liked Shirley. it's all pertyful and frilly"
Bob nodded once more and spoke up, " well met Shirley, I am Bob. I've been asked to talk to you about a few things, a kind of survey."
Shirley immdiately clapped his hands together and cooed, " goodie! does that mean I get to decide the new food rations flavor for this week? oh, I would ever so love to have something new instead of the bland blocks of food..."
Bob Shurgged, " it's more of a survey of you're attitude and how compfortable you are. Have you had any nightmares? Strange Dreams? or problems with self identity?"
Shirley looked around suspiciously, then whispered to Bob, " well, I've always felt like I'm being watched..and I have this recurring dream about waking up in a tube and not being able to get out. Then, only after hours of being stuck can I manage to wake up. I've started holding my gun when I go to bed and try to keep from going to sleep...I don't like the tube..."
Bob nodded slowly, then pulled out his hypnodisk, " right...well maybe with this I can make those bad dreams go away. okay? now I need you to look into the disk, at the center. focus on the disc and let all outside distractions go away...hear only the sound of my voice and the disk..."
As he spoke, Bob began spinning the outer rim of the disk. As the Rim spun, Shirley began to blink a bit. Bob took this as his cue.
"now listen to me, you need to keep focusing on the disk...hear nothing else but the sound of my voice...okay?"
As he continued the hypnosis, Bob began to spin the middle rim of the hypnodisk in an opposite direction to the outer rim. As well, he began to rock the entire disk back and forth in front of Shirley. As the moments ticked by, Bob initiated the middle of the disk. To any onlookers, it seemed as though the disk lit up as it spun, beams of light issuing forth from the disk and dancing along the walls.
However, to Shirley it seemed as though the beams of light cut through the fabric of reality. Leaving him alone with Bob, floating in a white space of nothingness.
Bob continued with his words, issuing hypnotic commands to Shirley, " your mind is clear. You will fall into a sleep as I snap my fingers.....1....2.....3..."
As Bob snapped his fingers, Shirley's head lagged and his eyes fell shut.
Stopping the disk, Bob put it away. Then he quickly said, " there are no tubes here in your dreamscape...there is only a medow, a vast expanse of grass, trees, and nature. Nearby there is a brooke which trickles past you with crystal clear waters. This will be your new dream. This is where you will go when you sleep. You need never find the Tubes again."
After a few moments, Bob moved his hand over to hover above Shirley's forehead, " now...when you feel a touch on your forehead, you will awaken refreshed. you will know who you are and what you do. You will no longer fear the tubes, as the medow will engulf them and free you."
Bob flicked his middle finger into Shirley's forehead, speaking a single word which seems to echo softly throughout the room, " Awaken."
As Bob's hand flicked over Shirley's forehead, he stapped awake. Looking around he quickly asked, " what am I doing here? where is my commanding officer? and who are you?". As he spoke, it was clear to anyone who could hear that Shirley's voice sounded a little different.
Bob smiled and replied, " I am Bob...now you should probably go find your CO and ask for a day of rest. You've been through alot soldier."

Elladan had monitored the entire scene via cam, and to say he was impressed wasn't doing him justice. He'd heard about some minor behavioral issues amongst a small fraction of his clones, but he'd never imaged it could pose this much of an issue. Mere moments later, he walked in on them. "My my, Mr.... Bob, that was an incredible show. I didn't think anyone could cure an issue that simply..."

Bob looked at elladan, " it's no cure...it's a temporary fix. he needs long term counseling from someone with a degree. or someone that will cuddle with him and listen to his problems on a daily basis. As far as I could tell, he was afraid of being stuck in a tube. most people have had parents to tell such dreams to, or friends or confidants. I get the feeling that he's either got no friends to share burdens with, or something...he's lacking experience in dealing with dreams. most people can wake themselves up within 30 minutes at the most, he said it took hours. Bob shrugged, " it would depend on the research. and how that research was applied. I can say for sure that I would flatly refuse to do research into something whose only practical use is for military conquest, battle, or death dealing. For example: I'll be willing to put research into faster hyperdrive units, but I'd probably wind up making them draw too much power to be helpful for combat. or, I'd help research ways to apply hypnosis to fully cure psychological disorders, but I wouldn't help to weaponize hypnosis."

He took mental note of this... not that he had to, due to the cameras and recording devices everywhere on ship, but he felt the need to anyway. "Of course. As commanding officer of this branch of the Imperial Navy, I intend to follow a.... more compromising and peaceful regime than our predeccesors. When we need to expand, we will do so without conquest; our allies will be given the choice of us. In any course, no, your talents aren't needed in warfare. I'm willing to fund you and your friend to research a cure, or at least a long-term remedy to mentally stabilize and/or create a hypnotic program. I will offer you two full pay as officer-ranked Imperial technicians, private quarters, a flexible schedule, benefits, and a retirement plan. Good so far; may I continue?"
