Troden's eyebrow raised at the sound of his name. He had watched the conversation with amusement in his eyes. The small show of anger from Lina was truly rare, and for Obsidian to bring it out so easily...he was liking this woman already.

looking back up at Lina Rikku said "ill see you in a while im going hunting before the night is done" at that she changed once again into a hawk and prepared to leave

"ohh i would love to stay Troden but unfortunately i havent eaten for a few days and i feel like going hunting ill be back soon though" Flying off before Troden could reply Rikku left the city and headed for the nearest forest

Lina watched her fly away with a smirk. She purporsefully left me here with him... she thought before turning around and jumping on a branch across from him. Standing perfecting on it as she watched him, "Tell me the real reason you summoned me."

Troden watched Rikku leave until she a dot in his eyes as he said, "You mean you haven't figured it out yet?" he chuckled lightly and continued, "So the great Lina does have limits..."

At this point he figured there was no point whatsoever in hiding. Remus stepped forward after shifting to his human form. He stood downwind of Troden to hide his scent. The last thing he wished to do was give himself away.
"Why do people always speak in riddles? It wastes time and annoys those you're trying to communicate with." Remus rested both hands on his cane.

"You play simple games Troden, but I do not have time for games," Lina replied, jumping from the tree and moving off, "We want two different things Troden, so a partnership will not happen." and with that she moved off into the trees, following the scent of her fellow crew member.
She stopped when she heard his voice behind her, grinning slightly, "Ah Remus...you speak the truth."

A small grin appeared on Troden's face as he listened to both of the Lotus' words, "The follower is so much like the leader...how not surprising." He then landed lightly on his feet looking at Remus calmly.

Lina slowly turned around, her ice-like eyes never losing track of the Rajen leader as he watched Remus, "Troden. He has nothing to do with your problwm with me..."

Remus took one hand off his cane and slipped inside his jacket, slowly taking hold of his gun. He wouldn't use it, yet. He figured it better to be ready should the need arise. "Can this one also read through the eyes?"
