Konnichi wa. Anata no shitsumon wa "Ichinenkan nihongo o benkyoushiteimasu" to iimasu.

Good afternoon. As for your question, you say "Ichinenkan nihongo o benkyoushiteimasu"

To say you've been doing something for a length of time, just say the length of time (1 week, 2 days, 5 years etc) before the activity you're describing. You dont need the particle 'ni' either.

Ichinenkan means "(time)period of one year" So it says "(For the) time period of one year, I have studied Japanese"

This works for talking about repition too, i.e. I ran three times or I will go twice. Just use the appropriate number and counter ...usually 'kai'...sometimes 'do'... and tack it in front of the activity you're talking about.

help from a senpai (upper classmen). "I've been learning Japanese for a year" turns into "ichinen gurai nohongo wo manabimashita" (which litterally translates into 'i've been learning japanese for about a year) the verb for 'to learn' turns into 'Manabu/manabimasu') and the word for 20 years old is nijussai.

Stephanie H.
watashi wa namae Stephanie Huang, desu.

My name is Stephanie Huang
the connector for 'my' is 'no', so the phrase is 'watashi no namae wa (insert name) desu.
