((Okay... here we go then... Sorry FP, but Puppetmaster must be used.))
"General Dodonna speaking," the uberbosslord said.
"What are our orders? Are we to help with the evac?"
"No. Evac? No. You can tell we loaded all the equiptment up to move the training facility to a better suited place. Someplace that isn't a desert and closer to HQ. Your orders are to get some sleep and fly out of here in the morning."
"But..."
"No buts, now don't get wasted. Good night."
With the com shut off, Kefka turned around shrugging his shoulders, stating "Guess those are our orders."
((Whatever.... now on to Orrin))
Orrin marched down the hall with the guard escourting him.
As much as I hate it, I don't want to see the largest source of chaos go away... Without much thought, Orrin knocked the guard out with a bloody punch, unchained himself, and went to the hangar. He ran by the Y-wing, Emerald 1, and stared at it. For him, it was a beautiful sight, especially since it was brand new. The finest piece of warfare for the rebellion, sitting in front of him. The "workhorse" so to speak.
He turned towards the skyhopper, and opened the door, but looked once again at the Y-wing.
"Oh what the hell..." He muttered to himself. Grabbing a helmet, he had to finish one more thing.
He tripped the alarm.
About 3 minutes later, a Y-wing had blasted out of the hangar, towards Mos Eisley, and the General's message of a "renegade pilot" had already come over the com system.
((Okay, should I put mission Specs down below in the next post to show you all what the mission entails? I just don't want everything to become a tiefest....))

((I'd say so a million eyeballs poping out of thin air would be bad, so yeah put up the specs)) "Wait! All he wants us to do is wait? I'd swear XO said evac. What was that?" *allarms start going off* "Thats not good, sounds like we need to get to the hanger. Looks like we'll se some action after all." *gets up and starts to walk to the hanger.*

(( Yes, mission specs, please! ))
Zendia's eyes flew open, along with her mouth as she heard the alarm sound. She looked incredulously at her fellow pilots. "That sounds like the cue to scramble!" She exclaimed, as she sprinted towards the hangar, and to the Y-Wing marked Emerald Three, pausing only briefly to grab a helmet. She reached her bird as a tech was lowering an astromech into the Y-Wing's droid socket ...

Artemis paused as he passed the Y-wing marked Em. 6. He looked farther down the hander where his Cloakshape was sitting thinking to himself "If something happens I would realy like to be in that instead of this hunk of metal. So he rushed past the Y-wing to his fighter, getting looks from the Techs that sugested they had been insulted by his action. To bad, this thing out preformes their ships in almost every way, although I should take some of the bomb space and put in a Ion cannon, Thats for another time though. He hoped into the fighter and began running his pre-flight, hoping nothing would go wrong. Everything checked out except for the fact that his engine was only running at 90%. Thats going to have to be fixed.
((Couple of Q's. 1. can we use TRD as a battle tactic when up against Cap's.? 2.What are the Wing-pairs and flights?))

Kefka ran down the hangar and saw that Emerald One was missing.
"Icharus..that b*****d!"
He jumped in and lifted off, and saw a green blip heading towards Mos Eisley.
"All wings report in and change bearing to follow Icharus" .

Mission Specs:
Codename: Ambush at Mos Eisley
Status: Underway
Enemy cover: Three trios of bombers are proton bombing strategic points in Mos Eisley. Twelve fighters have also been sighted, along with numerous ground forces.
Enemy Movement details: Bombers are in Mos Eisley. Fighters are flying CAP nearby, protecting the flanks and attacking targets nearby. Ground forces are littering the streets and outlying farms.
Recon: It seems the Empire has begun an attack against Mos Eisley. Their intended targets seem to be the hangars and spaceport, preventing any escape. Speculation may put them at their knowledge of us, but chances are that is slim, and in their attempt to control outlaws, will shut the spaceport down to detain anyone there. The Fighters are protecting them, but are currently unaware of the situation. Numerous ground forces are supplemented by AT-STs, and are attacking people in the streets and outlying farms. Probe Droids were also dispatched, and they are searching the countryside. By our com channels, we think there are seven of those.
Hotzone Contacts: Our contacts in Mos Eisley have told us that there's a good chance that many of the outlaws and their freighters will bolt out of Mos Eisley if the air cover is gone. We see this mass evac as a chance to get out of there as well. With only one Star Destroyer, they cannot possibly catch everyone. The Star Destroyer will be overwhelmed, so don't worry about taking it down when you make your escape to the fleet's hq (orbiting in space currently).
Primary Objectives: -Destroy the bombers and their fighter cover. -Destroy any AT-STs found in town. -Get the hell out of there. Get to new HQ, and don't worry about the ISD.
Secondary Objectives: - Destroy any outlying ground forces. - Destroy all probe droids.
Mission Rating: Too Damn Easy.
((basically mission details. If you have any trouble, put it in RP help. Also, the questions about TRD (i don't know that acronym) and flight pairing should go there as well.))
Orrin flew, punching buttons and smashing gears.
"I'm putting all sensor power to the engines. These recon ships never use them anyway." Orrin stated. He stole the ship, so he didn't have an R2 unit, but he was doing the best he could. He watched the flames grow, and the speed increase.
"Probe droid, dead ahead...... and it seems finally the squadron actually scrambled... hell, about time" He muttered to himself, before blasting the first droid.

Zendia rocketed out of the hangar, following closely on Kefka's tail. She absently mused with mild annoyance, The nerve of those new guys - insulting our ships! Still, she had enough professionalism to cast the thoughts aside. She smiled grimly as she gave a mild compensation to the throttle. "Emerald Three standing by," she called into her internal mike. To Rusty, the cantankerous rust colored astromech she was given, she gently ordered, "Power up the front deflectors, please," R5-T1 - thereafter known as Rusty - complied with Zendia's request with a tiny blat. "Hang on back there," she called to Rusty.

(( How did you get an R5 unit? Those are like expensive. And who insulted the Y-wings?)) Artemis flipped on his repulsers((Sp?)) and gently brought his ship out of the hanger. he activated three flights Com. channel. "Three flight report in." He got an answer form 8 instantly, but none from 9. "9, are yuo opperational?" he then checked his scanner and noticed 9 was not in formation. Sithspit, where is he. Artemis pushed that aside a began to power up his shields and lasers. Switching over to the squad channel he said. "2 this is 7. 9 is not in formation, please advise."

(( *shrug* I just have a weird soft spot for R5s. whee Since no one "puppetmastered" the techs, I figured that an R5 would do as nicely. And, I suspect that Nospai - Em Nine - will be along later. Relax. ))
Zendia's Y-wing rocketed towards the fighting, as her instruments scanned for the offending TIEs. It's time to get to work, she mused as she called out to Kefka. "Emerald Two! Are there any bogeys on your scopes?"

((R5s arent expensive theyre pieces of crap. They were IA's biggest failure))
One by one, Emerald Squadron reported in.
"Sith-spawn...they've overrun Mos Eisley..are those bombers?"
Kefka checked his scopes and saw that ground forces and AT-STs had been deployed.
"Allright, Gamma Squadron, take out those AT-STs. Beta, you take the TIE fighters, and Alpha, we take out the bombers."
The fighters broke off, and lumbered to their targets

Uber_Bunny (( How did you get an R5 unit? Those are like expensive. And who insulted the Y-wings?)) ((you kidding?! they're cheap as s**t! meant for commercial use, so they stripped their R2s and made them less complicated. you can pick 'em up cheap. and sorry for the delay. I was out all day)) Gendis was nearly right behind Emerald 1. Running blockades taught him the maneuvering and speed skills for both atmospheric and interstellar flight, and even with a clumsy Y-Wing, bringing it to its max capabilities was no problem. Hitting targets, however, was. Gendis didn't usually use the twin laser cannons or missile launchers on his freighter, that was usually his sister's job. However, when he was a first mate himself, he had been manning the guns. That was a long time ago. His specialty was flying. Oh well, he'd have to learn. He took some shots at a tie wing coming after Em 1. He favored the ion cannons as they could more easily track the fighters, being that they were on a turret. Bombers he would attack with lasers; they were slower. His shots often went wide- he rarely used a targeting computer- but he managed to take a few down. He dropped some bombs on walkers he spotted (often missing; he'd never used bombs before) and tried fruitlessly to get his R5 to fix that damn loose coupling. Ties pulled off of the bombers to attack him, but he evaded them easily. Yeah, it was just like old times. "Em 1, this is Em 9. Need some help? I'm not too hot with the guns, but I can probably outrun and/or distract any of the ties we got to worry about."

Zendia nodded, as she spoke into her comm. "Understood, Em Two. Right behind you!" Her own green Y-wing just a little over half a ship's length behind Kefka's. "Rusty, power up the forward cannons." she ordered, as she got her first eye of the bombers. Getting innocents involved - how low can the imps sink?! Zendia mused with disgust, as her first TIE Bomber entered her crosshairs. With an exhale, she squeezed the firing stud ...
(( All right. Anything that needs to be done to ascertain hits and misses, aside from our stats in various things? And, I suspected that R5s were pretty cheap! whee Hence, why I refer to Rusty as cantankerous ... ))

Kefka swirled his Y-Wing around, and had Icy divert shield power to the lasers. Locking on to a shield trio of bombers, he let out a spray, which took out one bomber, and then zapped one more with an ion blast.

(( I'd hate to "mode" my way into a kill, but, here goes ... ))
... as Zendia squeezed the firing stud, a burst of shot lanced from her forward cannons, clipping the portside of her bomber. The bomber spun out of control as it's port wing was shattered into thousands of flaming pieces of shrapnel, meeting it's fiery fate in the Tattooine desert. With a sigh, she absently thought, I just do it. It doesn't mean I have to like it. I'll save the "yahoos!" for the others, "Good shot, Em Two," she called out to Kefka, as she targeted another bomber, this time using the ion cannon. "Rusty, can you give me a lock?" she called out. Rusty bleeped an affirmative, and so, blue electricity spat from her cannons, washing the bomber with blue lightning. Another one down ...

Gendis didn't wait for a reply as he blazed laser fire at more fighters. He was bobbing and weaving mostly, so his shots didn't hit the mark all that much. However, he was avoiding his pursuers skillfully, and more ties came to aid their allies in taking him down. "This is getting out of hand. Emeralds, can I ask for some help over here?"
