"Hey! Wait up, don't leave me behind! crying " After catching up to the rest of the group. " surprised Wow, Navon you have it tough. But at least you got a family. Forgive if I seem as if I'm rambling, but I can usually recall facts easier this way. I never knew my papa. I do have a big bro 4laugh . He...is…so…cool 4laugh !!!" Putting emphisis on each word. "He is like my papa to me. Even though we were twins, he was all ways more better in everything. He's on an adventure, too. When we were little Big bro would always say how he would be a good doctor to help people, but the holy people that were taking care of us say he had good magic to be either healer or a arcanist like me now. Anyway, when we both reached 13 I did a bad thing and big bro said he's gonna be a cleric. He said that he'll find me again one day and cure me of the same bad thing that happened to mama. A week before we each went away, big bro brought Brendon to me. 4laugh " With that last part Dimitri leans on Brendon a bit. Closing his eyes a bit, Dimitri attempts to recall any information on drows according to everything that was just described to him.
(2 things, 1) Hiei, you look really cool 4laugh . 2) Which Knowldge check should I make)

I turn and continue walking, speaking to the bard "My story isn't all too special either. I was raised in Lantan, but left to search out excitement, and more so, training against giants. I was taken in by a halfling ranger, and he took me in, and taught me how to survive on my own. And I've just been doing that since."

Talibah smiles, "I think that none of realise the importance of your stories. Someday bards like me could be singing about you and the most important part of there song will be the past that spurred you to heroism!"
I look at Dimitri and smile, not quite sure what to say.
(1) Thanks and 2) History maybe?)

"Perhaps, but you can't become a hero unless things get a little hot" at the last word, I shoot a 6 inch jet of flame from my finger, and give a big smile.
((the flame is another thing you can do with prestidigitation. I love the Tome and Blood book hehe. It's got a whole page of things you can do with the spell))

(11+5 *on all knowledge except Arcana=9 or Local=7*)
Seeing Talibah's smile Dimitri smile back with his eyes. "Umm, depending on how much time I have to study, I can etch a small rune on to any of your equipment redface . Note that I'm not really that powerful yet, but having a small bit of magic is better than nothing. If possible, I want to help Dorak most, seeing he has no magic. If anyone wants the rune, just tell me if you want an offensive, defensive, or a supporting one. Also a level if one wants a specific one rather than a..."best-fit" one.

My eyes light up at this, and I look at Dimitri "Really? That's very nice of you to offer. I wouldn't mind taking you up on that offer either, but obviously, now is not the best time. Should I be able to assist you in some way, let me know and I will see what I can do."

Not right now, I'm at a limit in spells. But when we reach the Bearpaw, that'll be no problem. What about my bretherns in magic, would they like a free spell?

Deerhunter stands by, seeming a bit amused. "Yes, well.. Let us be off." with that he begins walking north from the gate. He actually only walks a short distance before stopping and knocking at the door of a wide, short stone building. The building is covered in soot, but appears to be undamaged.
The door is opened by an old, grizzled woman in robes that appear to be a lesser version of Moonwind's wild garb. "Welcome Deerhunter! Bearpaw told me you would be coming. These must be your friends he mentioned. Come in! Come in! I have soup ready and beds made up. Not exactly a happy hostel, but the best I could do on short notice." She says with a smile that reveals a toothless maw.
"It is good to see you again Claw! Too bad you came back to such a terrible time." He turns to you, "This is Clawmanner, Bearpaw's mother. Where is Bearpaw?" He inquires, looking back to Clawmanner.
"He will be back shortly, off helping in town I am sure. Well, come in already. Eat and get some rest. I hear you all are going to have a busy morning." She hobbles inside using a cane, and begins to pour soup into bowls at a long table. The short stone table also has a few baskets of hard tack rolls. The building is indeed a bit drab, and in need of cleaning. There are several beds made up, basically matresses on the stone floor with fur blankets piled on them. The only other notable feature in the room in the small altar to Mielikki in the southeast corner. The square room must take up most of the building, as there is only one door on the far side. Deerhunter sits at the table and begins dipping the rolls in the soup and eating.

Kyte walked in and joined Deerhunter at the table. She started to eat as she looked around the building. Not much here...

I walk over to the table as well, and grab my roll. Taking advantage of my prestidigitation still being cast, I change the taste of my soup, making it taste like a rich, gourmet chowder. "mm, this is a wonderful soup. I say, dipping my roll in the soup and eating.

Snapping out of his trance when Brendon leads him through the door of Clawmanner's home, Dimitri looks rather disappointed. " sweatdrop Sorry guys, my mind is kinda cluttered at the moment. To much information to sort out, if I had to guess, I'd say I'm arond construct constructions and that's a long way from elves subraces. *sigh* Why oh why did I read up on golems and golem construction." Scratching his head a bit, Dimitri looks up to see a table of soup and hard tacks. " stare *double take* stare *rubs eyes* eek FOOOOOD!!! crying " With that Dimitri runs to the table, making it about halfway, Dimitri walks back and bows to Clawmanner and bows to her. "Thank you for the soup and hard tacks. If you need help, especially housework you can always ask me or Brendon...most preferably Brendon. COME BRENDON!!!! FOOD!! 4laugh " After grappling and tearing Brendon from where he was standing, taking a seat, and without so much and taking off his cowl Dimitri begins to eat.
(I had no idea why I rolled so in the end I just decide to turn it into a semidecent grapple chck on Brendon. Humor reasons mainly. xp )

I grab a roll, and hand it to Dimitri, unknowingly to him, changing it's taste to something awful as I touch it "Here you are Dimitri. I, like Deerhunter, like to dip my roll in my soup, but I know that some prefer to eat them seperate. I'm not sure which you will prefer, but if you've never tried dipping it in soup, I suggest you do"

"Personally, to me food is food, it exists only to be eaten. Anyways," pointing to the black face covering, "It's a lot easier for me to eat if the food was soften in liquids. I know what most of you is thinking: How can he eat with that thing over his face? The answer, practice. Years and years of practice. Right Brendon? Whoa! eek " shouted Dimitri in surprise as he watch Kyte choke on her roll a bit, with quite a bit of worry in his voice "Are you okay? sad Do you require medical attention ?" Quote: "Here you are Dimitri. I, like Deerhunter, like to dip my roll in my soup, but I know that some prefer to eat them seperate. I'm not sure which you will prefer, but if you've never tried dipping it in soup, I suggest you do" Looking at the offered roll and back to the almost-but-not-completely eaten one in his hand. "You put me in a predictament, big bro taught me never to take more unless I've eaten every I've taken. But he also taught me to never turn down a gift from a friend sweatdrop ?" Scratching his head a bit, Dimitri's eyes glaze over a bit. twisted Hey, why not prank him for pranking Brendon? Don't say no cuz I got a good plan. Take only half the roll, but while you break it poison the half he's holding. We don't need to kill him, uber strong laxatives will do. twisted Sorry, don't have poison nor laxatives on me. twisted Hmm, what about the prestidigitation you learned? You know, make it taste like sewage. twisted Housework only and I never learned to make things taste worse, only better. twisted You know what, you so totally suck! What can you do? twisted Snapping back into focus, Dimitri pops the last bit of the hard in his hand to his mouth. "All gone! Okay! I'm sure Brendon would like some hardtack to go with his soup." Reaching over, Dimitri breaks off only half of it and casts Grease on the inside of the remaining half. "Thank you."

"well, I'm not going to be able to eat a second roll, small stomach and all. But If anyone else would like the second half of this roll, it will be here." I continue to eat my soup and roll, realizing it had been awhile since my last meal.
