He watched her with a stiff face on her, then saw her crack a smile which made him grin. That's all he really wanted.
Fulgar looked up and set his hungry eyes on a beautiful sight. The Northern air temple he grinned widely and said "we're here." It truly was an amazing site it had taken so long to get to now they were finally here.
"Kurai! We're finally here!" Fulgar shouted the excitment rising in his voice. He ran up ahead to get a good look at it all, he was absorbing the sight like a sponge.

She jumped at his alarming exciment she grabbed her chest. She toke a deep breath as her eyes were wide with shock, "Oi Fu-san!" She raised her fist and began to yell, she paused to see the wonderfull site. "So thats what your all excited about.." She said pulling her hand down. She bagan to laugh a little at Fulgar being so amazed like a child in a sweet shop. "And your suppose to be the older one" She placed her hand to her face and began laughing. Once calming down and her site focused on the air temple. "Fu-san.." she hunched over slightly, "IM SO EXCITIED!" Kurai practically danced and hopped around him. She went on a rant about what would happen who they'd meet maybe make new friends. She stopped as an thought poped into her head. "Fu-san" She said in a trembling voice only to turn to him with watery eyes. "what if they don't like us! I mean what if they kick us out...y'know being fire benders and all..." Kurai stopped in her tracks and began fiddle with both index fingers looking at the ground. "Im just nervous Fu-san.." She looked up at him with uncertainty and timidness in her eyes.

Fulgar was happy to see her enthusiasm matched his, she laughed danced and played. Fulgar was grinning wide and holding back laughter his chest was swelling from it all. He was so ready to get here they'd been so long on their journey here, now they would get their reward. Finally.
He saw Kurai's excitment soured in seconds.
"what if they dont like us?"
Fulgar turned to her, head hung low he grabbed her chin gently and slowly brought it up to his eye level. He looked into her eyes, the big pretty green caught the sun in a way that amazed Fulgar. He looked at her for a second and released his hand and said in a soft comforting tone. "Kurai, there is no way they wont like us, dont worry about it." Fulgar hugged her and said "dont be nervous. Besides, we've come all this way, and youre going into that temple even if I have to throw you over my shoulder and carry you there." Fulgar let go of his hug winked and started to walk off with her hand in his.

Serenity Ren ( whee Of course it's alright. Thanks for the warning. Take care and be good!) She watched him dig out the map and when he held it out to her she reached out to point a finger at the map thoughtfully. "Alright. And when I said Guardian could fly you I meant he could with you guiding him to the general area..not him sniffing it out, Taizen."
Her hands moved to Taizen's hands, guiding his hands to lower the map some so it wasn't held square at face level. "There is alot of ground to cover if you don't remember where you left it. The best route is here.." Her left hand moved to draw a invisible line along the path she felt was the best, safest, and quickest way.
"Well, lets be off then." Taizen said the smirk glued onto his face as he put the map back in the bag and headed off in the direction specified. Taikai nodded after receiviong the trail information from Niima. "I'm not going to tell her I was hoping to try out one of those... Flying do-hickeys..."He thought silently. "So, 'Guardians' your name eh? Well, I want you to know that even though waterbender's are famous for cleaning up messes, we don't want to have any accidents, do you understand?" Taikai asked the Winged Tiger, quite obviously, Taikai had two grandsons now, one was Tizen, and the other was Guardian... Wait...

Her lips tightened sharply as he 'made fun' of her. What the heck did freezing the boat have to do with finding it. If it was frozen they WHY didn't he mark the map and WHY where they going to have to search for it. She grunted loudly as if annoyed as can be, his comment stupid to her. She thrusted a palm outward and turned heading back to Guardian.
"Then you lead.."
She watched Guardian who stared at Taikai and suddenly Guardian's head corked to the side as if he didn't understand. A smile cracked her lips despite her annoyance. "You've nothing to worry Master Taikai. Guardian ventures off when 'nature calls'." The smile faded and she moved to check the packs. Slowly she stood and tilted her head. "Actually after Taizen's comment prehaps you two waterbenders should go on ahead. Seeing how your ship is frozen you two would know what to look for and whatnot..I'll just make myself useful and go get some more food for the trip."
She didn't wait for the answer. Instead she looked towards Guardian and motioned to Taikai. "Behave for him." And with that she started her way out of the room for the kitchen. Uh huh, serves Taizen right for trying to wage war of intellect on her. Tsk.

Taizen seemed to have stopped in his tracks, "Damn! That's not fair! She's using her Gender as an excuse to make a scene, and get out of this! Thus; Getting back at me!" Taizen looked back at Niima, the mixed sensations of annoyance, amazement keeping him from stopping her, and annoyance keeping him from being a good sport about this, furthermore, he had the feling of embarrassment as it was very much possible that it would now take them the whole day to find the ship, Niima had given them a route on which to travel, but now they had to travel it... And quite frankly, this route was just as unfamiliar as the one they had taken, there were natural obstacles in they're way, but a map didn't show these.
"Oh, Niima, Taizen doesn't know how to get there, it's possible he might fall off the cliff from following that map, the snow could be lying over a very narrow road, and-" Taikai had stopped talking because Taizen had back tracked and clapped his hands over the old man's mouth. "We'll find our way, don't worry! Thanks for giving us the safest route!" He said as cheerfully as he could, before adding in an undertone so that only Taikai could hear: "Taikai, Dont grovel to her, she's an evil mastermind, if you grovel, she'll win! And if she wins, I lose! Get it?" Taikai made a muffled soundbehind Taizen's hands. "C'mon Guardian, lets go and find the ship! Then when we come back, Niima will have food for us! Just like a woman..." Taikai was thrashing around in an attempt to scold Taizen for this remark, and ended up being led by Taizen off in the direction niima had traced on the map. She's in the cross hairs... Now fire!

Oh she made no scene. In fact she wasn't even playing the gender card and most likely would of kicked Taizen if she knew he had thought that! She figured, why send Guardian for a second trip when she could get it herself and glide down. Leasurely. Make Taizen suffer the long walk..
She tilted her head when she heard Taikai, not even bothering to pop back in to give her answer. Instead she rose her voice. "He best hope you can tend his wounds then." And she left it at that. She made her way to the nice warm kitchen and set about gathering some things while chitchatting with the people of the kitchen. She enjoyed the company of the cook, his gruff but overly cheerful demeanor was easy to melt whatever frown Taizen had afforded to her features. And the way him and his wife always bickered. You could tell it wasn't something to hurt each other but more of a lovers quarrel that showed alot of love. They where such a cute couple and they always kind of made her feel much like it was when her grandparents were around when she was a child.
Taizen would find Guardian just sat there, looking between Taizen and Taikai then just staring at Taikai as if waiting for orders. After all...Niima did say for Guardian to behave FOR Taikai..Taizen was on his own!

Zhin walked quietly behind them he started to get uncomfertable. He looked at the Air Temple in the distance and sighed. Why did you come here agin Zhin? asked himself, he was up so very his on a mountain. Sure there was Earth but this was Air bender territory, the air thin and cold. It is also a well known fact that Air benders and Earth benders did not get along too well.

Ahh! Return fire! Quickly, retreat!
Taizen scowled as soon as they were out of seeing range of Niima, noo! Had she actually won? "Well, Taikai, you were going to say something?" He asked as the path began to slant downward, ”well, not anymore, you seem hell bent on this little game of yours…”
“Good.”
”But, you need to place boundaries”
”I thought you were being quiet?”
“Guardian, feel free to do anything possible to inconvenience Taizen.”
”Wait… Are you punishing me?”
”Well, it seems so doesn’t it?
”With Guardian….?”
”Yup.”
”That’s just great… But Guardian likes me, don’t you guardian?”
The trio had been walking down a path in the mountain, and Taizen decided to stop the travel's progress, to try and pet Guardian like he had done earlier, when he gave Niima's credit to Guardian.

Hmm. Now question is..was Taikai giving a order? Hehehehe. Guardian stood still for a few moments, enjoying the patting but eventually his head started getting lower...and lower. Without warning the feline bit around Taizen's footwear and took off running, dragging Taizen along with him. Unlike what he's done to Niima, Taizen was only given the special treatment for about 5 yards before he was released in mid run. Once released the feline turned sharply and lowered down into 'stalking' position..or playful position..was hard to figure being that Guardian was out weighing Taizen.
Niima hummed in her warm..cozy spot in the kitchen as she watched the kitchen staff put together another traveling kit of food for her. Her eyes would drift off towards the window, ever so often thinking about what was going on with her traveling companions. She had to basically ignore the cook's teasing when he said she looked like she was day dreaming about a lad. Pff. She wasn't doing that..but why did she automatically get teased for so-saying 'blushing'? Beh!
As she waited the middle aged woman who cooked the special sweet bread for Taikai would venture over, asking random questions about Taikai to which..Niima usually had no answer to. She found that the woman had literally stuffed a few more bundles of the bread into the pack when the cook wasn't looking. She thought that was adorable. Poor Taikai was going to be tired of sweet bread in a matter of days at this rate. She mused at the thought.

Taikai laughed jovially as Taizen was dragged 15 feet, by Guardian, the younger waterbender twisting and cursing every foot. "Ptoo! Traitor!" Taizen spat out a twig that had lodged itself in his mouth on the way down, he had a sulky scowl on his face. "Working for Niima, huh? Course you are... I never should of trusted you... But, after being dragged by you, i've noticed something... You smell... I'm sure Niima wouldn't mind if i gave you a bath..."
"Taizen... Be ready for anything..." "Tch! I'm ready for anything this cat can-" he stopped as he detected a cold tone in his voice, he turned to look at him, taikai had a neutral expression on his face, and Taizen was confused as to what had led to this, he followed the man's gaze, there were two people... three... But the third man was too far away to determine what nation he was from, as for the other two... They had jet black hair, and wore hues of red. "Guardian... I'll give you a bath after we talk to the nice people.. 'kay?"
((Er... I don't know how they look... i'm just guessing biggrin ))

Actually Guardian was just playing around. If the feline meant to really ruffle Taizen's feathers it would of been alot worst. As Taizen threatened the overly large feline, it's ears twitched and attention shifted elsewhere. Ears folded back when Taizen mentioned a bath and his attention snapped back to the lad. Hmm. Taizen just might of made things a heck alot worst with that threat. Ears folded back tightly against Guardian's skull, a rumbling sound of a growl was given but as Taikai spoke the feline's attention once again switched.
Heavy paws treaded ground towards Taikai and Guardian sat down, almost as if...well..guarding over the two waterbenders. His tail thudded side to side as he sniffed in the direction of the two. Lucky for Taizen eh? Guardian had short term attention when it came to him. Or was the beast actually being protective of him..?

Taikai nodded his approval to Guardian, before stepping forward to actually greet the firebenders; Hello there! What brings you here to the temple?" He asked the two benders, as though they were at the very door to the temple, "You've come in good tiding's I hope..."

(kurai has blue hair, Fulgar has short brown)
Fulgar felt cold without his coat, there was a waterbender out in front of the temple there to greet them. He asked what they were doign here. Fulgar was the first to speek.
"Good tidings, indeed." He said aloud to the waterbender "I am Fulgar, and these are my good friends Kurai, and Zhin." He said gesturing to his friends.
"Is there any chance that there is a place I could get a new trench coat?" Fulgar asked hopeful.

She smiled, "Thanks Fu-san" she said patting his back. She gave a laugh "Fu-san you can change so easily like a leaf in the wind." She was surprised that at times he could be such a child and then act his age. Even with her long sleeves it was getting cold. As they continued walking getting closer and closer, she did want to see the air temple and not from the medical room. She moved her hands around a small invisible sphere, until you could see a spark. The blue fire filled the invisible sphere like water into a cup. She tired to keep the fire blue, making sure to keep her breathing even and calm. "Y'know in a flame, the blue color in the flame indicates its the hottest part." She said with a small giggle, loved sharing random information that she learned from her grandfather. She was enjoying keeping the blue sphere of fire from spreading or turning it traditional color of fire. This helped kurai keep warm from this high alttitudes
She noticed two people and a strange animal, which seemed anger or protective. The man, for whom she assumed was a air bender greeted them. Kurai made her hands flat then made them go horizontaly parallel to one another,making the flame a striaght Like a cat she leaped toward the man, tip-toed around the man examing him, 'no wings..' She raised an eyebrow before hopping back. Fulgar and the man gave grettings to one another.
"Im Kurai!" She smiled before bowing to the man. Her reverted to standing positions her eyes kept wandering toward the animal. It didn't seem to attack unprovoked. It was attack like a dog protecting its owner. She kept eye contact with the animal the entire time and made sure not to send any unwanted vibes.
