The girl let out a peevish growl. It was just little broken bits of a robin's egg that had already hatched. Snorting, she continued to crawl through the tangled maze of branches.

Dameon looked harded and realized that it was the same shiny rock. He finished his drink and walked over to Angelus. Looking at the scratch, he came to realize that it was very small and it wouldn't leave a scar. It was just a surface scratch.
Angelus finished cleaning the scratch and laid his body against the banthi. "There's still some more out there. You ready?" The banthi purred in affirmative.
Angelus smiled, scratched the beast behind the ears and slowly rose up on two legs. His knee felt much better.
Looking into his brown paper bag, he had three eggs. Two he knew what was inside, the third one he wasn't sure.
His eyes fell upon a pebble pit of sorts next to a large flat rock. "Let's see if there's any over there." He told Dameon. Both beast and boy went looking through the pebbles.

Kita crawled out of the pond, shivering, and found a many-tailed boy crawling around a tree not far away. Remembering what Razito and Akivara said, she approached and waved.
"Hi! Want some help?"

Zoe wiggled in her fathers arms as he reached a rather bright tree full of almost ripe apples. She wanted one of the bright fruits and wanted it now. "MmmM" She streched up and reached for one.
"Want that do ya." He reached up and shook one free of the tree, along with a few others things, leaves and sticks included

Gouka frowned at and stood up, dusting his hands on his pant legs. Darn, he was hoping to find one there. He glanced around and scratched nervously at his head before seeing Dameon. A small smile found a way onto his face and he bolted over. This would have gone smoother, however, if one of his tails didn't get in his way and trip him, landing him on the ground. He growled and sat up on his knees thinking he saw something glittering in the pile of grass near the rock. "My eggy?"

Angelus didn't really want to delve much deeper into the pebble pile. He didn't want to get hurt again. Their search was brief and unsuccessful.
Dameon, realizing that Angelus wanted to try a new spot, looked around the land. He put his nose in the air and took a sniff. Another tree?
He slowly walked towards a tree that wasn't too far. It smelled like something was in the branches.

Gouka frowned seeing it wasn't anything but a shiney rock and turned to the person who waved to him. "I can't find an eggy...." He said with a small whine holding up the shiney rock. "I found this, want it? Its pretty shiney but mom said I gotta find eggs." He smiled his tails standing on edge with excitement. Someone wanted to play with him! "I'm Gouka" He mumbled whipping a dirty had across his face with his free hand.

Still nothing! Slithering on her belly like a snake, the girl continued to move through the myriad of bushes, searching desperately for the prize: another egg.

"Oh, thank you!" Kita accepted the gift with a much larger bow than normal. Someone looked happy to see her! She smiled down at Gouka.
"My name's Kita. Now...." She looked around, seeing tall columns at the other side of the pond. "I don't think I've seen anyone look over there yet. Wanna try it?"

With a giggle the boy stood up and nodded. "Yah! That sounds like fun!" He picked up his dull bag from the ground and held out his hand to her. "We'll find some good eggys!" He chripped heading out to the area, quivering with restlessness. He wanted one so bad! He'd get some too and show the kids he was really smart! "How old are you? I'm five!"

Kita was struck by the question. All she remembered of her life was some indistinct mission and wandering around the woods for two days before she met Akivara.
"I dunno," she admitted. "But Akivara and Razito say I look about nine." She stopped and looked around, seeing that they were at their destination.
"Now for those eggs...." She glanced at the bases and ridges of all the pillars, and around the other sides of the closer ones.
((If I find an egg, give it to Randy2love, not me. Kita's just going to point it out.))
