Shadoweyes Hello fellow trumpeteers! I have one trumpet; it's my mom's from when she was in high school. Its a Selmer. Hi! I've got 2 trumpets. Both Bach's, one a very old Tr200, and the other an '02 Strad.

I have a friend of mine that this REALLY old strad- before strads were silver and it was all these really cool designs etched into. It's a really nice horn, though a little eroded like all gooder intruments (well not all . . . but MOST).

Elly Bee Previously, people were talking about the different bands at there schools. We have an Orchestra, Junior and Senior Concert Bands, Brass Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Stage Band and a Flute Ensemble. I am in Senior Band, Orchestra and Brass Ensemble. I'm lead trumpet in all those bands. I'm trying out of Stage Band when we start school. Is stage band the same as a pit band? (pit orchestra)

I've got two trumpets, one's a bach i think. I use it for practice. And i've also got a Benge which is nice and silver and pretty exept for the warp in the bell (from stupid people who shall remain namless.) which I use for performances. and i've got three 7c mouth pieces, and one 3c.

I miss the good ol' days when I was on 3rd and stuff... it was a freaky change for me bcause all the "really good" trumpet players quit band second semester when I was in grade 9. So all of a sudden, you have this little grade nine kid on firsts... Wow. sweatdrop

They're good, but cocky. They all have private lessons too. And because they are freshman , but have lessons, they'll play second. Usually they would play third.

This is so crummy...I think the guy who does our challenges likes our 1st chair trumpet more than the rest, because when I do challenges with him I always lose by 2 points. And its really getting on my nerves because the 1st chair practically got to do the piece again and the first time he messed up, but the second time he got it okay. But for me, the teacher said that I HESITATED! stressed But when the other director does our challenges, I seem to win more...ironic,huh?

I think band directors know who should sit where...Like your seating order is predetermined. I sit 2 from the middle and...even though this is a stereotypical trumpet remark, I can outplay everything between me and that first chair, including it's occupant xd . No doubt...I got docked points for going too fast through my scales.
