The beach... It wasn't exactly a place Asger would have ever chosen to go. Beautiful as it might be, it was much too loud and crowded for his liking, and that was just the start of the list. However, seeing as it was a school sanctioned trip, he hadn't seen much of another choice. There were a few students that stayed behind, however most has very good reasons for such a thing. He supposed he could have just opted out and committed himself to studying in the library. It would have been a more useful way to spend his time, to say the very least. There was but one thing that had drawn him to this place, or rather, one very particular feathered girl. Danae. It had been so long since he'd seen her. Long before that fateful night that he left signal to take on a challenge he had not been nearly ready for. None of them had been ready. They'd made a mistake choosing to take on the grim by themselves. They'd paid that debt with their lives. All but him. Asger still was paying his debt, with the shame, torment, and guilt that was constantly eating away at him. For all he knew, he was dead to the world. Dead to his family. While his death surely could not have been confirmed, he'd been missing for nearly a year. Did they still hope for his return? Pray for his safety? A small part of him wished that they did and yet another part of him scolded. That was wrong. Selfish. Just think of all the pain you must have caused them, Asger. Think. An internal voice chided him for his own stupidity. A familiar voice, on that always called out his mistakes and worked to keep him in line.

So if he were here for his little sister, one might ask why he was all a lone. Sitting cross legged on a towel beneath an umbrella on the sandy beach. Large, dark wings were furled close to his back, a book in his hand. Not even what most would consider an interesting book. It held no stories, legends, or tales. It was simple a text book, for the purpose of knowledge and information. Even so, the boy was nearly half way through it, seemingly having no problem processing the large passages and complex words and phrases. It was only now that his mind was wandering. Back to that same place it often did. His family, but more specifically, his sister. He had been right in assuming she would have made it to Beacon in his absence. It was a fact he knew for certain now, for he had seen her today, just as he had been hoping to. He had wanted to approach her. He'd been so determined when had first arrived, but the closer he got, the more the panic rose in his chest. It was not a simple feat to present yourself to a dear one who very well might think your dead. Especially with all the shame and guilt h carried with him. How would he explain it all to her? Where would he start? What would he say? Would she scold him? Find him stupid? Would she forgive him? It had been the possibility that she would not that had broken what little resolve he'd had left. Really he should know better than to fear such a thing. Not with Danae at least. But, he couldn't help it and it had come to be too much, so he walked away before she could notice him staring.

Initially Asger had convinced himself that she had seemed so distracted with other matters and that was what had stopped him. While it was true that there seemed to be a bit of commotion, likely the reason she had not noticed him, the falcon knew himself better. It was simply a cover up to attempt to disguise his own fear and hesitation. Don't lie to yourself. It's pointless and you'll never learn otherwise. That same voice chided relentlessly. Sighing heavily, he gently closed the book he'd been so focused on, setting it carefully on the towel beside him. His brain was to befuddled at this point to actually absorb any of the information he was reading. His eyes had been following the words across the page, but he'd stopped processing the information several minutes ago. He was just going to have to reread it anyway and there was no point in making the task harder on himself. Instead he relented to staring out at the beach and the many people that crowded the area. Blue eyes followed individuals as they moved, laughed, jumped, and swam about. Most seemed to be in groups, enjoying free time with their teams and companions. There was some sort of commotion several yards to the left of him. He couldn't quite make out what the voices were saying, but they sounded panicked. Just to the right came to desperate please of a tiny brunette about to be tossed into the water. There was so much to see that his blue eyes never seemed to linger an one one or any place for long.

Movement just in front of him caught his gaze. A petite, chestnut haired girl, laying her towel out with a smoothie in hand. Asger said nothing but watched quietly for a few moments as she went to work building a sand castle. She seemed pretty good with the task at hand, but the faunus boy had no desire to do much else but watch. He'd actually been doing everything in his power to keep the sand off of him. He hated how it stuck and clung to every nook and cranny. It was always impossible to brush it all off and after several hours of being exposed to the annoyance, it had a tendency to become itchy and bothersome. The worst of it all was when it got into his wings or feathers. It was always such a tiresome task to try and rinse it all out, always a grain or too missed that would cause him a bit of irritation later. Not to mention his wings took so long to dry, which to his dismay, hindered his flight. Hence, the distance he was keeping from the water. Even so, despite his quiet nature, Asger was friendly enough, so as she began the task of searching for sea shells, noting one just to the side of his towel, he picked it up. Saying nothing, he tossed the pastel thing gently so that it would land a few feet ahead, just on top of her towel.

She isn't too far away when she notices the other individual throw the seashell over in her direction. Sakura perks up a bit and goes over to where it landed, squatting over and picking it up. Oh! It looked nice. Sakura walked over to her sand castle and placed it on top near one of the towers. Yes, yes. It is all coming together! She glances back towards the one that gave her the seashell and smiled. Maybe she should talk to him? After all, it would be rude to just ignore him outright. Sakura took a deep breath and gathered her courage before she stood up straight and approached the red haired guy.

"Hello." She starts off proper in her greeting, a kind smile on her face. She wants to do her best as to not come off as threatening. After all, she didn't know that guy and just starting off conversation so randomly could be seen as "not cool" or something equally as silly. "Thank you for the seashell. It's the perfect type for the one I was looking for the top pieces of the sand castle. Not many people know it but sand castle building has a science to it." She informs him before she catches herself. Sakura looks away awkwardly. "Ahem. Sorry. You're probably...not interested in that sort of thing. Still...thank you. And I'm extending an offer to you to help me make the finishing touches but that's only if you want." She says.

Asger watched quietly as the gurl no4iced the shell waiting for her upon her towel. Blue orbs watching still as she picked it up happily before placing it ever-so-delicately upon her castle. A small smile tugged on his lips as he noted the look of satisfaction in her hazelnut eyes. Yet, he didn't seem any more eager to spark up a conversation. It wasn't that he was shy or anxious. In fact, the guy was perfectly calm and that reflected both in his gaze and his stature. Rather it was the fact that he just never knew what to say. There were a plethora of things he could say, a vast amount of knowledge hiding beneath that pale gaze. However, he always had trouble discerning which of those topics fit into casual conversation and which did not. There was also the concern of coming off like a know-it-all. It was something he knew he did often, and though he tried, he couldn't always fight it. Sometimes it was safer to just remain silent.

When she approached him, he returned her kind smile with one of his own, going as far as offering a small wave, though he did not move from his sand-free and shaded spot. "I'm glad it was to your liking... I noticed you looking and it was just within my reach." Asger informed her, speaking for the first time. His voice was soft and gentle, carried to her on the ocean breeze. Her comment about there being a science to building sandcastles caused the slightest if grins to pull at his lips. "I'd never thought about it that way, honestly. Though, I suppose there is science to many things that one would not guess." He responded, noticing what seemed to be a bit of awkwardness a moment too late. The winged man was not always the best at picking up on social cues. Things that might be considered strange or embarrassing often when right over his head, while things that were quite common occasionally caught him off guard.

At her invitation to help her, he hesitated, eyeing the sand surrounding them like it was but the nastiest of bugs. He clearly wasn't fond of the idea, however, he didn't wish to be rude either. So while letting out the softest of sighs he nodded and slowly pushed himself to his feet, stepping out from under the umbrella and into the gleaming sun. Pale skin glistened under the rays, red hair gleaming even brighter. Now that he was standing, their height difference was much more obvious. He towered over the girl, but that wasn't an uncommon occurrence. "I suppose I can lend a hand, though you'll have to point me in the rightdirection. I'm afraid I haven'tbuilt a sand castle since I was very young." There were beaches back home in Menagerie and even though he had never been very find of them, he had often complied for the sake of his siblings. As the thought crossed his mind, he couldn't help that his gaze wandered, searching for Danae even though he'd lost sight of her a long while ago. Shaking his head before his thoughts could wander too far, he returned his gaze to her. "I'm Asger by the way... and you are?"

XXXCali felt stranded, abandoned... Left to fend for herself in this new and vicious terrain of salty waves and radiating sunlight. Though she seemed to naturally float, it was only because she was kicking as if her life depended on it to keep herself afloat. The poor girl felt so out of her element, letting the waves push and pull her around like the ragdoll Eli treated her as. There was nothing she could do against it, and the seafoam among the shifting waves made it impossible for her to see the shadows lurking underwater. The predator that would soon have his prey. "That's it, I'm leaving! Stay out here and drown for all I care, I'm going back to our towel!" She wasn't having it, and began to kick her feet forward as her hands paddled through the waves that had its way with her. Progress was slow and minuscule as if she wasn't going anywhere. That's when his plan would commence, and she sank right into his trap. While kicking a foot back, she felt the sticky silk cease her ankle and stop her dead in her tracks. Eyes widened as she came to her stop, adrift in the shifting waves for but a moment. "Oh you son of a-!" Talking was a mistake. Before she could finish her sentence, she was ripped away from the surface and pulled below by her newfound under toad. Being amidst a sentence, she inhaled a sharp mouthful of water as she was effortlessly pulled into his arms beneath the ways. Looking his matching blue hues, she'd weakly hit her fist against his chest, angrily opposing his actions with what little maneuverability she had in the water. Relying solely on his swimming capability, the two of them would break the surface tension again. This time, however, she didn't sharply inhale like before. No, she just started him down in what could've been seen as seething rage, a death glare.

This boy was pushing it, splashing his wet locks against an already boiling little water imp. Though he surely couldn't hear it with her mouthful of water, she was scowling. She just wanted to relax against her throne on the beach! He knew what he did wrong, he knew that she would come to punish him. One way or another. Thus, he didn't need an answer to his question, just the dead eye she was giving him as he tucked her soaked locks out of sight. Obviously, skinning him alive was the only option. At the end of his question, she would spit the mouthful of water directly in his face. It didn't matter where it hit, so long as she gave him a shower. "You're such an a**." Now she was being feisty, spouting the laxest of swears at him as she started splashing water at him. Anything to shower him, anything to try and get him back until she really had an option. Admist the splashes though, he would surely notice the holes beginning to poke themselves through her bathing suit and exposing innocent bits of skin. It wasn't bad yet, but it was clear that her bathing suit wouldn't hold much longer. Something she wasn't aware of in her own annoyance with him. "11. Only because I practically skin you every day. No. You're dead, I'm gonna get you back, one way or another..." To his wink, she'd splash another wave of azure saltwater up to him as she tried to turn away in his arms. Though her eyes would glance back at him, the faintest of smiles curling on the corners of her lips. "I'd like to see you try, as the current puppy-eyed champion." Honestly though, despite the stink eye and annoyance, she was putting up... It was settling, and she already found herself admiring his work. He was being sly, but she would surely find a way to punish him. Cause that's what it was with him... A back and forth war until one of them cried mercy. They always kissed and made up, without the kiss part. There was no need to cause such dry lips, though countless moments called for the occasion. As much of an act that she put up, she'd find herself leaning back against him. After all... Why not? He always held her so close, so why not reap a reward for herself for but a moment. If he didn't notice it in the splashing, he would surely notice now looking down at her that her bathing suit was near spent. Layers withering away and small holes, much like a moth attacked the fabric, were forming throughout it.

Charlotte Aoyama

[ P O S T ]

Charlotte kept hitting the mans chest to stimulate a heart beat. Though with her aura active she could feel all the kinetic movement around her and by feel it was mro a big mess of stuff she could take. She felt herself trying to draw it away. Wanting to draw it all into her. Though in her mind she was doubting her own actions. Did she really wish to save this guy? Though even in that ‘state’ with feeling the kinetic energy she barely noticed Lunia running up. Even after entering her field of view she seemed distracted. Least until she spoke. Charlotte jumped a tiny amount before she fluttered her eyes around. Finally she noticed Lunia zylah and some new person had arrived.

”I what. Defib… yes of course” Her eyes flickered back as she let her semblance glow and activate fully. She even closed her eyes as she dumped a small wave after wave of energy into the guys chest. Trying to create a rhythmic beat. Though she was more making his body’s chest jump up each time. It would work as a defibrillator.. If she had a finer control of the semblance itself. Though charlotte didn't know that. ”Hugged him his heart stopped. Felt it in semblance. Trying restart. I .. wha..” She paused her movements as she noticed the guys chest turned a very light red under the skin around his chest. His heart might have exploded. Her face changed to one of shock. Though she was conflicted inside if this was a great thing. Or a bad thing. This of course led to the shock on her face. Her right hand clenched up a little as she thought the mixed emotions inside her. One scientist down. Many many more to go.

There she was, flailing angrily and cursing up a storm, and what did Eli do? Well, the entirely Eli thing to do, of course. He laughed. A seam-splitting cackle. Clearly she was very peeved but that seemed to be do nothing but heighten his amusement. He laughed until he was nearly breathless before wiping away mock tears of joy only to moments later received a mouthful of water in his face. "You know, Cali, I'm utterly drenched... and your saliva doesn't scare me... I'm not entirely sure what you were attempting to accomplish there." He teased with a smirk, poking her lightly between the eyes while keeping his other arm wrapped firmly around her. She wasn't even kicking at this point. It was Eli's efforts entirely that were keeping them afloat. "I will both patiently and excitedly await your true revenge then, oh wicked-queen of mine." The banter really was never ending between them, but it was usually equally enjoyed by both parties. Plus it was always in good fun, even in times like this when Cali seemed entirely furious. She would cool off eventually and everything would fall into place between the two, as it always did. Already she was leaning back against him. Eli wasn't always the best at figuring out where to draw the line when it came to his relentless teasing, but he made up for it in other ways.

As much as he would have liked to stay and float about the water, a water-spider as she had called him, fate would say otherwise. Already her bathing suit was beginning to crumple. Little holes were forming, reveal pale bits of skin that Eli would prefer not be flaunted to the world. Mostly due to that fact that he wished to preserve Cali's dignity and keep her safe, he had promised after all, but he would be lying if he denied that there wasn't a part of him that wanted to keep her hidden for his own sake. "Come now, little fish." He said with a soft sigh, already beginning to kick the them towards the shore. "If we don't hurry you're swim suit is going to wither away and leave you in your birthday suit." Despite the urgency of the situation, he wasn't able to help the slight joke. They had time, not much, but some. Besides, if worse came to worse, he could always grant her some temporary coverage with his webs. Surely it wouldn't be very pretty nor very comfortable, but it would keep her covered until they could find a better alternative.

It didn't take long for powerful lakes to propel them back into the shallows. Once he was able to stand, he smirked at her before scooping her up and tossing her over his shoulder. As always, he didn't hesitate to sweep her off her feet and carry her around like a rag doll. However, this time instead of running towards the water, he was running away from it. Once they were back on the squishy sand, he sprinted across the golden grains to their towel, only setting her down once they had reached it. Leaning down he scooped the towel from the ground and draped it over her shoulders, a way to hide in case they didn't make it to the changing area in time. With the worry of her becoming completely naked in a public place appeased for the moment, he dug around in the bag, pulling out one of the many extra swimming suits packed with in. He didn't hand it to her yet though, he would hold onto it until the last possible moment. It would last longer that way. "This way... I think there was a few stalls just over here." Wrapping his arm around her, protected only by the thin barrier of the towel, he ushered her across the beach several yards. There were a couple of rickety changing stalls not too far away and lucky for them, there weren't any lines.

Sakura placed a hand on her hip. "Indeed there is. Everything is science when you think about it" Oh, how she would love to go on a long tirade about how science and it's formulas were so very interesting but she didn't want to leave a bad impression on this guy. Most people don't go to the beach to hear about the sciences of life. After all, the beach was all about leisure and not science. Unless some people found science and figuring things out with it to be leisurely. Like her, sort of. If she wasn't too overworked, anyways. Sakura, ever the observant one, saw the look of disgust on his face when looking at all the sand. She was prepared to quickly shut down the idea and just leave but she was surprised when he started getting up.

                                              Woah. Tall.

Or maybe she was just really short. Sakura really wasn't sure. She took a step back so she could look up at the guy without straining her neck too hard. "Of course." She says calmly yet internally she was mentally face palming herself. Was she the weird one here, building sand castles? That was a kid thing, wasn't it? Sakura silently hoped that he didn't think she was childish. That would really put a dent in the little thing she called reputation. "Oh. I'm Sakura. It's nice to meet you, Asger!" She said with a smile. Now she had a name to a face which was great for her. She'd feel bad if she never saw him again and constantly had to refer to him as red-haired-tall-tree-guy. She looked ahead, forcing down the awkwardness she felt whelming up in her gut. "Shells are usually found closer to the water, of course. But you really don't have to do all that if you don't want to. Just making conversation is fine by me, really, because I saw how you looked at the sand when I extended my invitation to you. It usually involves the crinkle of the eyes and--" Sakura paused. She was...rambling. "Uh, so, yeah. You know..." Why was it so hard to be casual in a casual setting? She was a lot more put together in school since it was required to stay put together there.

Noticing the hint of discomfort flicker through her expression, Asger ran his fingers awkwardly through his his hair. He hadn't meant to make her feel bad or potentially offend her. There was nothing wrong with her or with the prospect of building sandcastles. More so it was the annoyance of the sand itself. Always clinging to his skin and lodging itself into his feathers and wings. It really was bothersome. Still that wasn't her fault and he really shouldn't be making her feel bad for the inconvenience of something so entirely out of her co trol. Something of nature itself. Stupid, Asger. Stupid. He internally scolded himself, a small huff of air passing through his lips. On the brightside, she didn't seem too put off by the whole thing. Or, if she was she wasn't letting it hold her down. On the other hand she seemed to be doubting her own social skills as much as he was doubting his own. What, with the way she would ramble on and the. Quickly cut herself off as if she figured no one would want to hear the rest of her thought process anyway.

It was in all honesty a bit if a relief to k ow there was someone just as inexperienced as he when it came to the social aspect of life. He'd never been good at it, but having been had captive for so long had made him even more rusty than normal. The thought came with a trainwreck of memories and a fluid of emotions. A torrent that he wasn't quite prepared for. It set him back for a moment, blue eyes going dark. There was a dull throbbing just below his left wing. If someone were to look at the base where the joint connected to his back, there was a slight disconnect. Barely an inch long, but just shy of an inch of feathered tissue that should be connected to skin and was in fact not. The pale skin surrounding it was raised and lumpy, the scars of a jagged knife. The wound was healed at this point, though by the looks of it still recent. The pain he was feeling was an entirely mental, a memory... looking at it, it wasn't hard to guess what had happened. Feathered limbs attempted to be torn from flesh. His body gave an involuntary shudder at the thought. It was only then that he realized he'd list himself to his own mind and left Sakura standing in silence for far too long. Focus.

Shaking his head lightly, he returned his gaze to hers, attempting what he hoped was an apologetic smile. However, he did not go on to explain what had just happened, but rather continued on with the conversation at hand. "Yes... the sand. I've never been very fond of it. I find it's rather difficult to rinse from my feathers." He explained, hoping that made any clarification to the distaste he had shown earlier. As she mentioned the shells were normally found closer to the water, his gaze wandered out to sea. He hesitated, looking quite reluctant, but he wasn't about to back out on his word now. Besides, he had expected that much. "No, no... that's quite alright. I'll help. I would just prefer to stay dry, if at all possible." While it was true he didn't really need his wings at the moment, one never knew what might happen. Asger liked to be prepared. What if the need to fly arose and he couldn't because of weighed down, drenched feathers. Besides that, the feathers took an awful long time to dry and the experience was rather uncomfortable. Bm

                                                          out. of. control.

XXXHis laughter was toxic and infectious, but her own spite against him right now would prove strong enough to endure that adorable laugh. To her advantage, he'd begin to mock her attempts to get back at him. Cheeks would puff as she lowered her head to sink beneath the waves sputters of bubbles rising. It seemed that his annoyance knew no bounds, but for some reason, she'd continue to put up with the mocking that came oh so naturally to him. He just went on and on and ON. However, the final straw was drawn when he tapped between her eyes. Perhaps he should be more fearful of her saliva... With her lips tucked beneath the rippling water, she'd sharply suck up a second mouthful of seawater. For just a moment, he may see how truly bold her cheeks were, but it was far too late. Quite suddenly, she'd kick her feet to push herself up from the water, in the midst of his sentence of revenge. Oh how perfectly timed everything was. It was mid-sentence, no, mid-word. The girl would spring up, her face coming oh so close to his open mouth with pursed lips before squirting a stream of salt water from her cheeks directly into his open mouth. She'd come back down with a small splash, settling into his arms with a grin on her face. "Long live the queen. Best be thankful I don't have acidic spit instead, or else you'd really be in trouble." Surely this wouldn't be the end of her revenge, it was only the beginning. Once her reign of terror had begun, there was no stopping it. Piece by piece, she'd start throwing little twists in his life... It was the way of their relationship, and it was truly an unending war between them, a kingdom divided.

It seemed that the fate of their kingdom would not be decided on this day, for a dark plague seemed to loom on the horizon. Cali had settled against the warmth of his chest, softly humming in the radiant sunlight. It was nice to just float there, no effort at all... Eli could bear the weight of the both of them and keep them above the waves effortlessly, letting her relax, just as she had done on the beach. It seemed wherever they went, he really was meant to be her throne. "Hmmmm?" She hummed in response to her calling to her. The current began shifting around her as she looked up, tilting her head in precious curiosity. "Where are we going? You threw me in here, and now we're leaving?!" Why must he be so cruel? ... Well, because he was protecting her. That was almost always the reason for any sudden change of heart. As he began to explain the situation, her eyes would widen before frantically looking down. He was right. Small patches of holes had begun to litter her precious bathing suit, hidden scars shimmering in the sunlight. "Ah.. Ah... Ah! Shut up, don't say that! Let's hurry!" She shouted, frantically kicking her feet with his to try and help them get to shore faster... Though honestly, even if she had no clue if it really helped, she wanted to try!

It was as if they rocketed through the water, and Cali would've liked to think she had contributed to the efforts. Though we all know her little twig legs couldn't even try. Once they got to semi shallow waters, Cali would manage to curl her toes in the sand below for traction to try and join in the free run back to their little camp. Time was of the essence, and she would fight with every fiber of her being to make sure no one saw her indecent. It was all she had left, and the only one that could ever get away with such a sight was Eli. ... No, not even him! She always screamed and hollered if he got a glimpse of her, but became so dependent on his help at her most vulnerable moments. She'd get to take what, two, maybe three steps? Before she felt herself rising from the water. Arms had clasped around her like a trap before hoisting her out of the water in one fell swoop and slinging her over his shoulder. "God dammit Eli! I know how to run!" She'd frantically object, flailing her arms and kicking her legs as she continued to pound against his back. Surely it was a humorous sight for anyone who saw the two, but it was surely the best course of action. Running while her clothing crumbled wouldn't only wear them faster with tension. Sure, it could've just been something to get a reaction out of Cali, but in reality, it was actually perfect. It only lasted a moment though, for once they reached their former throne, her flailing self would be set down against the sand. Only then she'd calm down, but huffed and turned away.

"I mean... Thanks for the right, I guess..." She'd avert her gaze from him, sure to give off mixed emotions about how she felt to be whisked off her feet. In the moment, she'd make a scene, but she honestly loved it. While her dusty eyes darted around, she'd try her best to move her arms to conceal the exposed bits and pieces.. Though, she forgot briefly that touching the clothes more would simply cause a faster decay. Now she could actually feel the dusty texture as it crumbled against her palms. "Eep! Eli--" As always, he was already on top of it all. The towel had been draped around her like a cape, her hands moving to tug on the edges to close off any sight of her suit. "You're right.. I made sure to look for them when you got here." She'd never miss her chance to snuggle against him when it didn't hurt. With his arm slung around her, she'd cease the opportunity to press against him as he guided her like a true gentleman to some of the worst kept stalls she had ever seen. Not that she could complain, because it certainly beats making some makeshift fort out of towels and an Eli to hide her shame. Dust continued to rub against her skin, bits, and pieces of fabric littering behind them as they moved... Once the pair arrived at the stalls, Cali couldn't contain herself anymore. The girl didn't even knock, she'd pull small frame away from Eli and push through the doors. The towel whished behind her as she closed the door, and showed just how close her suit was to falling off. It still covered the bare necessities, but it had turned itself into a two-piece in their carelessness.

At long last, she finally had some privacy... It wasn't a moment too soon, either. From the outside of the stall, Eli could see the towel haphazardly get flung over the door to keep it safe. Meanwhile, at her feet, patches of ruined fabric continued to fall and crumble, it was spent. They really couldn't have been a moment too soon. "Ummm... E-Eli..? Bathing suit.. P-please." This was far too common an occurrence for the pair, often having to rip themselves from moments time and time again simply because she just couldn't seem to keep herself dressed. Once the suit was tossed over, they could finally get on with their lives. Moments would pass, before the stall door flung open and Cali let out a sigh of relief. "Eli... That was close... I told you those are too flimsy." Finally at ease, she'd step out of the stall and tug the towel down, before flicking her wrist up and tossing it over her head. "Look at this one though! It's really cute, I really like the flowers. And it has sleeves! Why didn't we use this one first?" As she asked, she'd begin to twirl and show off the full vibrant floral design. She was actually in love with the colors, and might actually feel inclined to wear them more if it was like this. ... Her excitement was clear, and she had the sweetest smile on her face as she twirled. She came to a slow stop, her feet settling in the soft, warm sand. Her matching hues would dart over to Eli was she turned halfway and posed. "What do you think, better than the last. Right, right?" Speaking of the last... If one was to look in the empty stall, they would only find a few patches of seemingly aged and withered fabric. Cali didn't even have to take it off. A simple tug at what was left, and it all just crumbled around her. Bonus points to the big man for carrying her almost the entire way here.

                              Cherry Woods

The ice cream was nice before they started to build the sand castle. Cherry had everything she could think of to help them build in her bag, from buckets to shovels and even had a few things she found on the beach earlier in the bag but those were all over the place so she didn't feel bad about grabbing a few.

As they worked Cherry tried to help the sand moist so it would stick together. It was just fun working on something fun that she didn't even realize how much time had passed. It wasn't until the sand started to hurt her arms did she notice that she had a sunburn. Her team seemed to go off in all different ways. Which was fine with Dust she looked around and found a shady place and set up her umbrella before sitting in the sand and starting to read her book. It was a mystery story which she was highly enjoying between putting on more sunscreen. She might be the only one after today without any tan.

A while later with her book done Dust decides to enjoy the water a little. She gets up and starches before taking off her outer clothes to show off her swimwear, a simple black bikini. She felt a little odd with so little on she quickly makes her way over to the water walking in till her knees were under water then lets herself sink into the water and heads out a little deeper. She didn't really pay attention to anyone out in the water.

With Ella joining him he knelt down beside the pack and started by taking out the first tools they would need for moving and packing sand. He grinned at her praise for how prepared he was. "Preparation is always at least half of any battle." He replied. He took up another copy of the tool Ella had picked up. He also took all the stacked pails out of the largest pail they had been sitting in. He noticed the color on her cheeks and that her comment was very close to a flirt. He decided to ignore it for the time being and instead handed her the rest of the pails. "Lets start on creating foundation to build up from. You can use these to help move some sand. I'm taking the big one to get some water to splash onto the sand to help with the packing." That said he stood up and walked off toward the edge of the water. He walked out until the water was starting to make its way up his calves. The water here should be deep enough to sink the bucket. He scooped the bucket into the water to allow it to take in as much as possible before he pushed it down below the surface. After the bucket was turn right side up below the surface he carefully lifted it straight up.

He returned to where Ella had been working some time later. It had been a fast trip to the water. The return trip was much slower though. Every step being very careful as he focused on keeping the pail of water steady so none of the contents would spill out. After he reached the build site he swiped his foot back and forth over a spot of sand near where Ella had been working. He put the water pail down on the flat spot he had made with his foot. "Water's up." He told her before he used a small shovel to scoop water out and sprinkle it onto where Ella's hands were working. He let her handle making the sand hard pacts and level. He just provided the water for the purpose as directed.

After the foundation was finished he started to do more work with the sand itself. He put load after load of sand onto the foundation and watered it down before he started to shape this side of the castle. The other side, the right side, he left to Ella. "So Miss Architect, what kind of castle are we aiming to make?" He asked her after he felt he had enough sand in place and at least basically shaped into a start towards the outer walls of an epic castle like structure. He could add more details and build it up based on what Ella had in mind for what this bad boy should look like. He noticed a spot nearby where the sand he had already built up gave him an idea. "What do you think about adding some detached towers here?" He pointed to the side of the castle. Then he shuffled about to move closer to that area. He used his left hand to gather some sand into a mound. "A little water and some clever work with the tools and I could make like a rock outcrop here that serves as the base for a group of towers, or a real big one. Then connect it to the main castle via some arching walk ways." With the mound done he used his hands to outline some towers and traced out where some arches would go after they had been sculpted out of what started as a connecting wall of sand between the main castle and the towers. Once the base of the wall was gone the end result would look like an arch supported walkway going from the main castle to the separated towers. Remus thought for a second and then glanced at the ocean and where the tide line was and grinned. "On second thought. Perhaps I could build it over there. Then I could dig down into the sand to make the 'rock' outcrop the tower is built upon. Dig Out toward the water a ways then when the tide come in the water could be funneled into the trench and create nice tower built out into the sea look..."

Ella Fletcher
"Would you like to go for a swim?"

Ella began to create a foundation, as flat as could be, in the area that they had planned their construction for. She took a brief moment to look at the sand in her hands, and just enjoyed the gritty yet soft feeling in between her fingers. Ella loved the beach, especially the water, yet she never ventured to it often, it was always filled with such crowds and she would panic when alone.

Using the tools that Remus had brought, she created a pretty decent foundation. The pails were quite heavy when filled with sand, yet she tried to almost pretend that it wasn't too much of a hassle with smaller movements. Remus was collecting water from the sea, probably best that way - water could get Ella a little too excited at times, for good reason. As Remus returned, she would set the sand together and create what began to look like a form of a wall. Remus joined her and worked on the other sides of the structure, and she observed him as she tried to make it as symmetrical as possible.

Ella gave him eye contact as he asked his question, she liked his nickname for her and let out a brief chuckle before making a face that showed she was thinking back to books she had read. "Did you know there are over one hundred different types of castles? I think we should build a Concentric Castle - these were built thousands of years ago and were the best in defence.." she said, gesturing around the castle "We could make a moat around it, and just leave the drawbridge so nobody can get in!" she added, "Or we could find a bit of a stick to pretend!".

She then listened to his ideas and nodded in agreement, she thoroughly enjoyed witnessing someone get passionate about something and was enjoying taking a step back to let Remus lead this. "I like your idea more, if you build it over there I can add some more towers around, but leave a ditch for some water to go in?" she said, getting some more tools out as she moved around to where the next towers he was talking about could be built.

Lunia Alexandria Yatomura
"I'll make you all proud of me one day.."

Lunia was running on total adrenaline right now, she hated seeing anyone in pain and would do anything to help. She took a step back as others stepped in to help, and stared at the man's body as he struggled to breathe, panting as though she was starting to have a panic attack. This moment was bringing back memories, she clenched her head as she flashed back to standing over Keaton's body, and closed her eyes as she tried her best to block it out. "If only I was stronger, If only I wasn't so useless..." she said quietly to herself.

Everything went blurry, she could hear those close to her talking but it was all muffles now, what was happening to her? Lunia breathed heavily, and was trying to regain total control of her body, she was brought back by the strong pulsing of the man's body, he evidently stopped breathing - and she just stared in complete horror. A wonderful day at the beach with her team, and another death that she couldn't stop, she shook her head and glared at Charlotte. "No..." she gasped, clenching her fists as she started to well up.

Lunia couldn't stay with the company right now, she stepped back as she could now see medics running to the scene. Everyone was a blur, and all noise had gone - all she could hear was a piercing noise in her head. She gripped her head again, stumbling backwards, but didn't want her team to see her like this, not again.

Lunia turned around and just ran, as fast as her legs could carry her. Tears streamed down her face as she closed them and just ran. There was no destination she was headed for, she just needed to get away.

Sakura realized that he had stopped walking when she was a little ways away from him. She looked back at him, her expression quickly slipping from confused to worried. He looked like he was in pain. Sakura walked backwards until she was back to his side. Was there an injury that was bothering him? Or maybe it was something deeper than a physical wound. She really didn't know and it was not her place to ask, either. After all, they were strangers and the only thing they knew of each other was their names. Still. she was worried. Maybe it was just habit due to her position back at home with her many siblings. She'd usually sit them down and give them some proper head pats, asking what's wrong. But doing that to this guy? Definitely weird.

"O-Oh, yeah. I understand, er well, sympathize is the correct term since I don't have feathers." Sakura chuckles awkwardly. Sakura gave him a firm nod when he mentioned that he preferred to stay dry. "Alright, then. Try and stay where the dryer sand is. You shouldn't get too wet there. And I'll owe you if you get too much sand on your wings." She was serious about it. She was asking him to go out of his way to just help her make a silly sand castle that would probably wouldn't last very long. Things like that just didn't last forever. She bent down when she noticed a sand dollar on the ground and smiled. "Oh? Lucky day." She said happily before she handed it to Asger, with a smile. "Here. Payment." It was her attempt at lightening the mood and keeping herself from asking questions she didn't need to ask.
