Baffled by the sudden stop in all fighting, Misha stood still. Her body still hummed with energy and she itched to move more. She wanted to run and jump and... Just do things until she was all worn out and then she wanted to lay in the sun and feel the warmth penetrate her luxurious black fur. It sounded like an excellent plan.

But it was not a sensible one. Circe had to be dealt with and she could not vote when she didn't have human vocal chords. She was going to have to fix that. First, though, she turned to find Edward. Padding over to him, she rubbed her head against his arm - far too much like an overgrown house cat to be comfortable for him. Now that things had calmed down, too, she fully registered his lack of clothing and, shameless as always, she gave him a thoughtful and appreciative once-over. Who was she to look a gift horse in the mouth?

Misha made a noise in the back of her throat somewhere between purring and laughing as she looked up at him. Then she gave him one more head butt, this time to the hip, and turned to look for others. She spotted an alpaca and felt a weird sense of recognition even as she registered how very cute it was. Where was Lex? Brian? Oh, please, let Brian be okay, she thought. She hadn't seen him in what felt like ages.

Briiva slowly made her way to the stairs, careful of the bodies and vines scattered across the ground. She spotted a bottle out of the corner and quickly snagged it, tucking it safely into her bag. Leaning against the railing, she looked at the mess that everything caused, frowning.

On one hand, humans turning would be bad, on the other, it was something that they now had experience in combating. "So uh.. I don't know about you guys, but I prefer the evil I know to the evil I don't. I saw we take her into custody and if this thing pops up again, we deal with it. Who knows what she could get up to if we let her go, consequence free."

And just like that, the battle was over.

Weapon lowering, Edward glowered up at the witch for a moment, lip curling in a mix of disgust and fury, until he felt the soft brush of warm fur against his arm as something large butted against him. It startled him, had him jerking back as his fingers tightened around the handle of his hammer, only let out a strained sigh as he realized what, and who, it was.

"Hey, you alright?" She couldn't really answer him, but he'd still had to ask, pale eyes sliding along the dark length of her body for any signs of injuries. There didn't seem to be any, and what little blood he could see on her head was likely from bumping into his arm. Relieved, he tucked fingers behind her ear, scratching, until he noticed the way she was looking at him.

It reminded him that he wasn't wearing anything. A fact that had, up to that point, not been at the top of his priority list. There had just been more pressing matters to deal with, but now? Now he was aware. It caused color to creep up his chest and throat, darkening his cheeks, and he tried for a glare down at the leopard, though it didn't quite stick as she bumped her head against his hip and slipped away.

The damage had been done, though. Sighing, Edward pulled off the bandanna that'd been hanging loosely around his neck, and looped it around his hips. It wasn't much, but it covered the important things. Once it was secured he turned his attention outward, back to the matter at hand. The discussion of what to do with the witch, and the Ares was shocked to hear that anyone was in agreement with letting the b***h go. "Take her in!"

Also, in all the following excitement, Edward found a bottle of wine.

Really?

They couldn't kill her?

Why not?!

Zebulon growled to show his distaste at letting her go without some form of rather severe punishment, grumbling in some form of feline disapproval as he made his way back down the stairs over to where his clothes were sitting. They weren't exactly in perfect condition, but they would do. They didn't have rips where it would be the most inconvenient, and that was all that really mattered.

He sat himself on the clothing, just to make sure no other wise guys would try to take it for themselves, and looked around for someone who looked like they had some cures on them.

Character Name: Zebulon Castaneda
Brief description of character: Zebulon accompanies his even temper and clear mind with an oft-frustrating tendency to be snarky even in the most serious moments, needling people far past the point he should. Tagging along is a need for control, tempered by the fact that he does usually know what he's talking about. His normal ease seems lessened at current, though his control over himself is back now that he's removed enough from the conflict with the metal vulture.

He lowered his dagger once Griffin and the rest got Circe under control, and though he had his opinions on what should be done with her, he didn't voice them. Instead, Zan looked in his bag to make sure his cures were intact, then addressed the room, giving Lex mild sideeye for doing the same thing.

"Anyone need to turn human again?"

Caleb the a** walked over to Lex and gave him a small gesture as he took one of the cures, returning back to his human form. He was naked, but that was of absolutely zero concern to him. He looked good naked and he knew it, and it's about damn time everyone else knew it too.

That said, it was a little cold, so he did cover up with his hand a little.

"Now that I can speak again," his voice cracked. He wasn't exactly one to speak up in public. "We can't let that b***h ---" he spat, pointing to Circe, "--- just walk away free on some kind of promise that she'll let everyone free. Can we really trust her? I don't care about the risks. If we can't kill her, and ******** do I want to kill her, then we need to take her. I vote that we bring her in."

Rob winced a little in surprise at the sudden sensation of claws on his shoulder, then he realized it was Sid. Reaching up, he scritched her feathered head as she preened his dreads. "Oh, Sid…" he crooned. "We'll get you right again."

Turning to the others, he nodded. "Yeah, what Sid said. I think we should let her go. I mean, the word of a goddess is good, yeah? Even a duplicitous hag like Circe." He glared at the witch-queen. "I imagine the consequences of going back on a promise sworn on your father's name would be pretty ********' dire."

Zebulon opened his mouth to say, "Over here!" but found himself just making some sort of weird purring noise instead.

Right, he was a lion.

Instead, he awkwardly raised a paw and attempted to get Zan's attention. Cure? Yes please.

Lex gave a simple nod to Caleb, letting him pick a cure and paused to admire the naked man suddenly in front of them. Mmhm. Nice.

"I say we have her swear and let her go. We don't have enough cure to turn all the animals at the inn back to humans, not after taking care of our own here. And I think Helios," Lex paused on the name, "Can punish his daughter if she breaks her word, better then anything we can think of."

Being a dog was -- well, honestly, it was actually kind of great. For some reason, in this shape, the little things didn't bother Asher much. All the movement, the sounds, the smells, were thoroughly engaging. His ears perked to follow each little twitch and mumble. He kept losing the thread of conversation, couldn't figure out who was who, and that was fine --

He yelped his own happy noise, and almost dropped his wine, and that broke the spell. He wanted fingers again, hands, toes. He wanted to see in color. It came over him all at once, and he immediately trotted off to find the abandoned remains of someone's clothing.

With a shirt in his mouth and his eyebrows pulled down, he trotted his way over to bark at Zan. He was ready to be human again.

Angling her head got Rob's fingers to just the right spot and Sid fluffed herself up, enjoying the attention.

"So are we talking, if we keep her, she WON'T turn us back to human? That's the choice right? Let her go, she turns us back and stops others from turning, or we keep her, prevent her from spreading her s**t, but we're all still animals?" Sidney squawked, though for ears that weren't Olivia's, it probably didn't mean much.

The DJ was very much in favor of whatever got her the best outcome, but she was hesitant to make a firm decision without a sure idea of what was going to happen.

"We know how to make the cure. We have some flowers. We'll be able to make it -- for us and our own." Olivia shakes her head, just faintly. "But we don't even know who else she's turned, where they are. If they're running around loose, they could be injured. Killed."

Pointedly, she shoots a look to unconscious animals filling the room -- and grimaces. She hopes not too many of them are down for the count. "We'll have to find them before anything terrible happens."

Diryas had been trying to do his best, what he could do where and when he could do it, avoiding what trouble he could by--admittedly--sheer dumb luck. He'd followed the others where necessary, but now found himself in a bit of trouble. Specifically, he found himself holding his whip one second and staring at it, covered in his clothing, the next.

Not that he consciously processed what had happened, of course. The realization of how much it hurt hit him, instead, and the sound that came out of him in reaction didn't help at all. It wasn't a hiss, wasn't a growl, but something in-between, and he didn't like it. It wasn't his voice, but it came out of his throat, and he stood and shook for a moment, trying to acclimate to how much pain he was suddenly in.

It was almost like being in the hospital all over again.

He couldn't see much of himself, but what he saw was small and covered in sandy brown fur. Fur. With a long tail and two oversized ears on the top of his head. Realisation hit him that he'd been turned into an animal, and now a strong sense of panic welled up in his throat. He savagely shoved it back down, this time using the ebbing hurt to ground himself. Okay, this was far from optimal, but he would try to deal with it. He didn't want to get far from his things, however, and did the only thing he could think of to do.

He barked. It wasn't a dog's bark, but it was hopefully loud enough to get someone's attention, because he knew he certainly wasn't big enough to get someone's attention.

Character Name: Diryas al-Baksh
Brief description of character: seemingly the dictionary definition of "quiet loner type" who doesn't tend to speak much unless spoken to, unless it's about chemistry (having a phD in it requires passion, after all); petit in build and not the most athletic but willing to work around it.

Deity: Athena
Weapon: whip
HP: 47/47
