" Autumn." Lucas shifted past the group to get to the woman he didn't know, and carefully, he put a hand on her non-bitten shoulder. If he got the familial feeling, then... "Autumn, we don't have time for that. If you can get her to the Otherworld from here, you need to. Now. Or she's going to be our next fight." His words were firm and controlled, his expression dark. He figured it would only be a matter of time before...something like this happened. "That, or we need to get a hold of Mercer. We literally do not have the time for discussions."

She turned back to Chel, face worn with exhaustion and emotion. "It's. She's a warg. And I think her. Her dog is dead," She explained, in means of both explanation and apology. Not having had a reaction, she did in fact step back, arms falling to her sides. "I don't... know enough about wargs, to know if. If she's okay. Or if she's gonna turn. I'm just." She rubbed at her face. "I'm sorry. I just don't wanna see another dead body. This isn't- I didn't ask for this. YOU didn't ask for this. This is ******** up and I hate it." Her attention turned to Lucas. "I... I don't have Rosalinde. That's how I've always gotten there be-- CHIEF. Chief. I can." She spun to address Shun."Shun. You. You need to radio in Mercer. We've got a bite, and- and she might die. He needs to know."

Lucas has no feeling of 'pack'--and yet the bite mark is far too large to be from Cerby--and Lara stares down at the bundle in her arms still. It's Cerby. He's not moving. And the blazer is so bloody... "I killed the monster," says Lara, "It's dead."

Jack's face tightened at the sight of the bite, but he hung back. He didn't know the woman or what her particular connection was to all of this other than yet another bystander caught in the chaos. Catching Chel's eye, he kept his hands off the camera for now and nodded. But this Lara was a ticking time bomb, and he was getting antsy letting Autumn have more than a few seconds. "That was damn lucky you lived. How long have you been here?" he asked Lara, moving past to go grab the were and pull them off the window, get a better look at this killer. Normally he would have suggested staunching the woman's bleeding, but given what had probably made it... JACK HP: 11

What the ******** was a warg?
Chel was silent for the moment. Clearly this was someone important to Autumn. Okay, and a dog was dead. Summing up the facts: a lady and dog were dead and also someone named warg? Maybe?
Chel felt bad but kept back. Space was important for these kind of things.
"I can go get Rosalinde," she said, "Where is she? Downstairs?"

No pack. No connection. But she was clearly bitten. "I don't -- I don't know what a warg is," Lucas replied with furrowed brows, "or how the bite affects people who are -- are already something special. We weren't exactly given a crash course." But, this woman, whoever she was, hadn't changed. She wasn't displaying symptoms of change. Maybe she was...safe? The dead hunk of fur and meat in her arms suggested otherwise. Lucas moved around in front of her as Autumn spoke to shun, looking up at her. "Lara, is it? I'm Lucas. I'm a were, but not like the one you -- killed." Please don't murder me, he thought inwardly, though it'd be a bit too late given his position to her. "I'm admitting complete ignorance here, but time is of the essence. Can we do anything for you here? We need to take you to the first floor to be treated." He glanced over to Autumn. "I don't suppose you can -- help, here?" She healed a stranger. Would she heal a friend? Could she heal the dog?

Rather than the sounds of conflict, Shun just heard sobbing instead. Still, he made his way in, taking caution. He furrows his brow as he sees Lara, wounded with something in her arms. "s**t," he hissed, then made his way over to the dead were, checking to make sure it wasn't going to be getting back up all of the sudden. While he did this, he activated his radio once more. "Detective Mercer. We have Lupin here, but she has been bitten; the wound looks very bad. The rogue is dead."He turns towards Lucas, about to ask if he knew how they could soften this. Though, he just gave Autumn and Wolf a look of confusion. Wargs? Otherworld? What?

"I. I don't know if it works with were bites. I take on some of the pain when I do it," Autumn admitted, fully expecting an earful on that one later. But point blank she was afraid. Like, really afraid. "What if... What if I try to heal that bite, and the magic goes to me? I. I couldn't have you guys fight me. I couldn't." She wouldn't finish. Autumn turned away, bowing her head. "And I can't. Bring back the dead. I don't think anyone can do that," she told Lucas more quietly. Her attention was diverted to Chel when she was addressed. "Rosalinde is my cat. She can locate entrances to Other Ashdown, which. Which would stop Lara from being a monster if we got her there. She'd just look like Lucas. But Rosalinde is at home, and... And it means we can't just turn Lara into that," she gestured back to Lucas. But the light and enthusiasm were gone from Autumn's eyes. "All I can do is freak out and cry, now. I can't... I can't save any one this time."

He caught Shun's glance and subtly shook his head. "She's not were. Whatever is happening -- she's not one of us. Or them. That doesn't mean she's entirely free, but..." It was all he knew. Lucas glanced to Autumn and shook his head, standing up. He was in no place to chastise just then, instead giving her some hard truths in return. "It wasn't up to you to save anyone, Princess." He began to unbutton his shirt, pulling it off and ripping it by a third. Delicately, he began tucking it around Lara's arm. "It was up to us, my Pack, to stop this. If you want to blame someone, you have to blame us this time." His tone was matter-of-fact, tying the cloth as tightly as he could without being overbearing.

Lara doesn't seem inclined to talk. She rocks the bundle, shoulders hunched over, back and forth and back and forth. "He's not dead," she says, lips barely moving. "He can't be dead. I can't…" She looks at Lucas. "I can't feel him anymore," she says. "He can't be dead. I can't."

His attention shifted back to Lara, red eyes confused but sympathetic. Wiping his bloodied hands on his undershirt, he carefully wrapped an arm around her shoulders, mindful of her injuries. "Lara," Lucas said softly, "I can't help you with -- him, Cerby? -- but Prin -- Autumn is here. Your friend. Your friend who needs you." He didn't understand what was going on, and how could he? "Can I take you both downstairs?"

Autumn looked from the group back to Lara. The girl was gone. It was almost worse than the initial impact- she was gone. Sure, she was sitting there, but Lara had clearly checked out. "We. We'll give him a service, Lara." Was all she could think to offer. There wasn't more to say now, or anything she could think of. She'd talked to Cerberus, but losing someone whose mind you shared... "It. It'll be beautiful. We'll get everyone to go, and we'll all be here for you."

Then Shun recalled something Sunny said as far as where the missing teens may have gone. She had stated that she thought they had gone to the Otherworld.
So... it wasn't a nightclub.
This was a little overwhelming.
"Autumn," the radio sounds out, "can you do anything for her? Kuroda, if she can't and Lara is not a danger, get her escorted down stairs ASAP for attention."
Standing back, he folded his arms over his chest, trying to figure out exactly what it is he could do right this moment.

Swallowing heavily, Autumn cautiously took the radio. "I don't know if I can, chief. She was bit, and- and I take some of the pain. I don't know if that magic will bleed into me or turn me," she confessed, hands shaking. "And she's not responding. At all. We have no idea what to do with her, she's a warg and. And her dog is dead and I'm kind of freaking out here." A deep breath, trying to steady herself. "I'll try to get Lucas and Shun to take her down. They're strong. And- and shun can update you when he goes." She nodded to the two "Get her downstairs. And chief, maybe see if you can send Algie her way? With. With the hand thing."

Lucas looked over to Autumn, growling her name softly with a tense expression. Stop repeating the dog is dead! He had no idea what a warg was but even he knew better than to keep beating that fact home. "I'm gonna take you downstairs Lara, alright? Both of you." Including the lump in her arms. Stooping down, he very carefully fit his arms around her and lifted, slow and careful not to jar. She was small and light and easy to hold against himself. He nodded to Shun. "If you can get the door and escort us, that'd be appreciated." They had to be quick. They still had work to do. "When we're back, we need to go upstairs. Prepare yourselves and meet us at the stairs."
