Caliban stumbled as the ground shook again, and he hurriedly sought out a steadier place. "Pup, this is no time to be making yourself comfortable," he growled.
The Leafeon started forward, trying to find where the rumbling ended.

Goliath hurried after Caliban. Right before the Leafeon stumbled Goli moved to the left a little where the ground wasn't shaking quite as bad. "Hey! Maybe we should watch for patterns instead of blindly running?" he spoke as the ground shook beneath his paws, but he kept his footing. He was glad that where he was walking wasn't as active as other places.

Lain is gone, and it's up to everyone to find their way on their own.
Roll a 20 sided die with each post you make and react accordingly.
1: Huh, you know what? [Quote Qixel if you are the first to roll this.] 2-4: The ground shakes beneath your feet. 5-9: Nothing happens. 10: Hey, I just noticed! [Quote Qixel if you are the first to roll this.] 11-13: The wind howls overhead. 14-17: Nothing happens. 18-19: The ground shakes, and you stumble. 20: Oh! Pushing onward, he was grateful for the coverage the canyons provided. Following along with his little group, feeling a little better regardless of the lacking Masquerain, he blinked over to Cecil as the other small Poke inquired. Domo seemed to be keeping tabs though, answering well enough. But seeing Cecil's struggling to keep along... Timidly, the Caterpie scooted closer to the Mudkip, hesitating before speaking up, "i-i-if it helps..I...I can attach some s-string to you, t-to help wi-with the directions w-w-we take.." he didn't want to seem insulting, of course! But he also didn't want the other to feel unsure to his surroundings, or the path before him.
"I was aiming for the quiet places," Caliban grumbled. "I doubt there's a predictable pattern, pup, but if there is you can figure it out from a safer spot."
For now, at least, he was successfully avoiding the shaking.
Last post from me tonight. Not exactly time for bed, but I won't be near gaia for the rest of the night.
Goli looked for another relatively quiet place and jumped towards the spot. When he lands the trimmers stop completely and he's on level ground. "There has got to be a pattern. I'm sure of it. Why would only some places move, but not in others." He tries to find another spot, however, he can't see a clear pattern. "Hmph." He looks toward the cliffs again trying to see if there was a place to try and climb to. "If I was higher off the ground I could see something I'm sure."

Jax was quite honestly, happy to be rid of that irksome Masquerain, at least now they had a better chance of reaching Shaymin. She looked back at Cecil. "Yeah, we were sort of following a ditzy masquerain but all she got us was lost." She smiled at the mudkip and then at Barnaby, happy to see him coming out of his shell a little bit. "I can give you guys a lift if you're getting tired. Just let me know." She offered as they trekked onwards, so far, no other tremors occurring beneath her paws.
Rei had to lean close to hear Chi's words, and he still had to take a moment to make sure he understood what she said. "I don't know," he finally answered. "We don't even know a general direction. But at least the path is pretty straight here; there's really nowhere to go but through the canyon."
Then the ground shook beneath his feet, making him stumble. "Though the ground isn't too steady here," he grumbled.
"What's a masqur-what ever it is?" he questioned, wondering if it was another pokemon. He nearly asked what the others were, as he couldn't see what they were. "Is it a pokemon, if so what kind?"
"That may help" He mudkip began to the caterpie's suggestion, "Yet I'm quite fine following everyone's voices and breathing. Its gotten much easier then it was earlier to." However he too didn't want to offend the other's suggestion. "Would some string help me carry my leaves and this odd squishy thing?"
The wind began to howl over head causing the mudkip to shudder. Quite having enough to do with this current terrain.
