It wasn't just going to be easy to get his barrel to the drop zone, and a monster spied him.
The thing was, he wasn't some spring chicken. As it swooped for him he moved with the attack, causing the monster to spiral past him and making his way to the drop zone fairly unscathed.

He carried his barrel all the way over to the edge and then released early. He never released early. He knew how to draw things out until their proper conclusion.
Yet here he was, completely missing his mark.
He just hoped no one else had noticed.

Arrakis decided that he was not going to grab another keg of spirits. Clearly, that had stopped working out for him. Instead, he sunk both hands into a bale of hay and turned back for the edge.

The chicken did, as it turned out, stay on the hay as Arrakis chucked it over the edge as hard as he could. He felt a twinge of guilt, but that was quickly overridden by the satisfaction of hearing that thunk! at the bottom when it all landed. Alright!

It was a fairly lengthy path for Damien to carry the barrel over his head the entire way, but then came the glorious moment to say happy birthday to the bridge by throwing the piece of furniture on it.

Displaying a great deal more brute strength than he usually did, Mmur heaved the bale onto his shoulder and made a break for the edge of the rampart. On his way, a shadowy beast with talons as long as his forearm took a swipe at him. He stumbled, but managed to recover fairly quickly.
