Triku Keimari Envy intercepted the blond alchemist and punched him sqaure in the jaw. "Tsk tsk you should distrub them, it's rude." He round house kicked the other back away from the two and race towards him slamming that metal fist into his gut again. "You can have you turn after, he's done with your sweetheart..." He taunted with a chuckle.
Roy's eyes shut as his head sank in the sand and his body was half way down in the sands. His mumbling and muffled yelling coul be heard---one distinct word was noticable. "Ed." His thoughts raced, it h couldn't live through this, if he couldn't get past this obstacle he would be able to protect Edward. And with these thoughts the sands took him though his arms struggled through the density searching for his gloves.
Upon finding them he pulled them over his hands and snapped his fingers. The sands only added friction and the air that escaped through the holes left in the sands helped him out even more. Those familiar flames bursted up through the sands as shards of glass scatted and tore through the homonculi's body and lunged sticking out of his body. Roy's head came up from the sands as the quicksand trap pulled at his body, his shoulder burning. "D-dammit." He hands grabbed at the sands around the trap trying to get out of what would be his grave.(Duh duh duh!::dramatic music!XD: smile
Artillary watched in amusement until a shake of the earth told different, the flames hated the sands so quickly that they hated and melded into glass and soon after shattered only to come and pin the poor aubrun into the ground. He winced, that smarted. He screamd in pain actually feeling it as he tore the glass from his body so he'd have time to heal.

Roy gasped for air as the sand got in his mouth, yuck what a disgusting taste. He was breathing heavily and his eyes were closed so the sands couldn't get in them. He growled as the other hand clawed at the sands trying to survive.
Envy smirked a bit and dodged the attack only to send a uppercut into Ed's chin. "Too slow pipsqueak." He taunted with a grin, only to hear the other homonuculi's scream. "What the-" His eyes darted back to the other and he growled, "You stupid a** lover just used Artillary as a pincushion!"
He huffed as he kicked Ed away. "By the way, your lil' boyfriend doesn't look too go either---" He beckoned his mind still on the fight, though he did want to help the other. Just he couldn't let down the figt first, Ed would have to first.
Artillary winced as he struggled in the shards of glass. His eyes were bleeding blood red tears and he screamed as his attempts at gettin free only made it hurt worse. "Onii-san!!" He yelled for help hoping Envy would help him. (awww;-;!)

(Aww heart ) Ed didn't have time for this "this isn't over Envy" Ed before he ran over to where roy was and clapped his hands together, quicly he tansmusted the quick sand and turnd it into normal sand so Roy would stopped sinking, then ed hurrindly dug away at the sand hoping to god that roy was still breathing. "You'd better still be alive you b*****d!" Ed yelled as he dug franticly.

Roy found himself not sinking anymore and took this chance to continue to claw out of the sands. Though the shot blond alchemist did help him by digging to loosen the sands' hold on him. "Ugh..." He coughed up some sand and winced the sands irritating his wound. "E-Ed?" He quirkd a brow as he looked to the golden brown hued youth.
Envy huffed knowing Ed's words to be right. "Agreed--" He said as he raced over to the pinned Artillary, now in his own sort of big brother mode he pulled the shard out so quick that it woudn't hurt the younger boy much.

He propped himself u to look at Ed with a sincere, but weak smile. His shoulder was ******** burning it hurt like hell.
Hopefully it wouldn't be infected. He sighed as he turned from Ed to the soliders who looked on with worry. He held up a hand and smiled towards them as the fog cleared the army behind them retreating after being given the word by the homonculi.
Mustang sent them away and sat up too lean over to Ed and lay a kiss on his lips. "Thanks again Edward...Now---I need some sleep." He said falling back on the ground his onyx hus closing slowly as he sighed his breathes not straining too much now. Another time in his life where he felt as if he'd lose sight of Ed, not being able to be near enough to protect him.
That worried him more then anything else, even losing his own life was meaninglss unless he could protect Ed---and of course his brother. That was his mission the very day the two came to the military.

Ed said trying to pull the other up, but becuase Ed was smaller than roy (Not that he'd ever adnmit it) He couldn't move him much "Stupid colonel" Ed muttered but the insult was haLf hearted at a couple of medics rushed over to check on on Roy.

Roy winced as the medics came and shot him up with that damned numbing drug once more. He grunted at his body was moved carefully. He hurt all over, he was doing too much with too much on his shoulders literally. He smirked a bit as his eyes looked over to Edward. "Shut up Short stuff..."
He mocked wearily and then let the drug take him his head panging with pain. The medics got him to the hq and to the infirmary where the nurses and other paitents were getting back to. Dammit---he thought as he was taken into the infirmary, he knew he'd have to take it easy but he got so bored taking it easy.
Thought then again, he could have Ed by his sde every moment---that certainly wouldn't be boring. He blushed at the thought and cosed his eyes to take a short nap.
