Egil, Zoey would surely try her best to remember that name.
Soon, the attention was shifted towards some boy Yosuzume was curious about.
Turning over her shoulder she almost froze the moment she spotted Kain.
"W-what is he doing here?!"
Probably the last person she wished to meet at the party. She gave a step back.
"That's ..."
She paused, how could she explain without bringing further questions?
Sighing with nothing coming up to her mind, Zoey spoke.
"That boy is Kain, my older brother."
She replied, begging not to be forced to meet up with him. Not now, she couldn't tell him. It was too soon. She wasn't emotionally prepared to face him.

Though it seems that in my absence, you and Herald have took the next step in your relationship." Kain had noticed Emma's engagement ring. It appears as though those two were finally going to take the leap into marriage. Glancing back at Shira, Kain couldn't help but to feel a little saddened. After all, they were engaged before, but, like always, something would cause the two to call off the engagement. Admittedly, Kain was a little jealous of Herald, but still happy for him. "Congratulations, on your engagement."

 Yosuzume Palastria Nura The Night Sparrow Witch Outfit: Attendants: Yosuzume's eyes don't leave Zoey. The girl was clearly effected by the question. She was probably lieing about being the boys sister. Yosuzume could tell they were as diffrent as night and day. Her smiling face dosnt change,but she was more on guard now. The fragments and now this. Something fishy was going on. She would need to speed her plans along. Yosuzume WOULD NOT allow anyone connected to "that demon" to exsist. Why are you acting so wierd? While Zoey wasn't lying, surely her current situation would sell of Yosuzume's misconception. Given the witch had never got the chance to meet up with the Devil Machine.
"It's just..."
Zoey was saddened, shocked to see her brother here. He was so happy... and if Kain was to be around, Shira should-
"I'm ... just shocked to see he's here. I could had sword he would wait just a little before showing up in public."
She confessed, giving her back on Kain's figure and trying her best to keep herself from his sight.
Turning her eyes back to Yosuzumes, she flustered lightly, but there was still sorrow in her eyes.
"He was mom's favorite. He doesn't know it yet... but right now... we only have one another left... Mom's gone... and so are my elder sisters... That woman killed them."
Clenching her fist as the image of Tear showed up on her mind.
"I'm not really sure I'm ready to tell him our family was murdered... I'm not sure how would he take this...He was always... different."

Zoey's face was lightened up as Yosuzume offered to help.
"You would?! I would be in your debt if you could."
The pink haired girl replied almost immediately, not even noticing just how close she got to Yosuzume until later on.
"Oh..."
Zoey flustered, stepping back to give Yosuzume her personal space.
"I-I'm sorry. I got carried away. I shouldn't be bothering you with this. After all, this is a happy season isn't it. You should spend it along with your family."
The pink haired girl replied with an honest smile.

Zoey's face lightened up once more.
"You would!?"
She replied in amazement. Poor Yosuzume had no idea what she had just signed up for. Since next thing she knew her figure would be embraced by the pink haired's arms. Holding onto her tightly as if she was clinging to life itself.
"Thank you Yosuzume san. I will certainly not forget this!"
Zoey was blinded with hype, finally someone would help her deal with the grim woman who took everything away from her. She was so happy she barely missed the detail Yosuzume said about having no other but Yatagaratsu and the Casket. But she would remembered it eventually.
On the mean time the prodigious witch would have to deal with an extremely happy and people hugging weapon.

Being an assassin,and with her brother the way he was Yosuzume was lacking in the form of affection Zoey was exhibiting. Being on death mansion and at a party surely made Zoey lower her guards as she never expected Yosuzume being an assassin... or any of her companions. Even less that they could had just killed her for the rash actions she had just displayed.
"Yes please I would like that very much."
Zoey replied as Yosuzune offered her to look for some food. Right now she wasn't ready to confront Kain so it was better to be as far from him as possible.
Soon after that the rest, if if not the most important remark, of Yosuzune's words hit Zoey, which made her soften her hug a little at first before releasing Yosuzune from her grasp.
"I-I'm sorry...it's just that. I'm really happy right now."
Zoey replied with a wide grin. The picture appeared to get brighter.

"You know, I really didn't picture you as the type of guy to act so....behaved." Kain teased, wondering if Herald would come up with some smart remark. Kain and Herald had always had a strange relationship. They weren't exactly best friends, but neither were they distant. They were more like rivals and enemies at the same time. They enjoyed fighting one another to the death and at times, got along better than most. So to see Herald acting so refined and gentle, was a sort of shock to Kain, but he was happy to see that Emma was able to bring about this change in him. As Emma spoke, Kain turned to her and smiled, "I would really appreciate that." he told her. "Eric, how have things been with you and Dara?" Kain wanted to know everything that had happened during his absence.

Emit had his chance with the chocolate bar, however just as soon as the delicious goodie would be placed between his lips, the lights would be called out and Emit would be blinded in darkness. This darkness however, wasn't cold or lonely. It was rather warm, and carried some giggles with it. As darkness drew him backwards he would reach halt against something soft ant warm. "It's good to see you again, Emit san."While he indeed had changed his appearance, his soul was still the same. And there was no way he could hide himself from the spartoi. Given how similar his situation was to chronas according to how Jack talked about him it wasn't hard to figure why Maka became affective and protective over emit. Being pretty much Maka's third child by now. She was actually looking for Jack since he got to run away before she told another embarrassing story when she sensed Emit, she couldn't resist greeting the boy which needed attention and guidance the most. She wouldn't allow him to run the sad path her friend Chrona took. Not while she could prevent it.

As emit began to enjoy the chocolate, he would nearly choke as everything began to happen fast, and it indeed caught him off guard. Though once things began to resolve, emit calmed down. It turns out it was Maka who might as well have been Emits mother seeing as how he grew up with Jack and his family. Emit was relieved that nothing too crazy was going to happen. "Oh, hey, its good to see you again to." Emit would greet back, it has been a while, though being an Amnesiac and being....well Emit, nothing too excited happened.
