The man doubbled over onto the ground for a moment realizing his error. He laid there for a minute watching Cody go after his buddy. When Cody was distracted he crawled to his feet before he threw a knife aiming for Aslinn, hoping to hit her back and make her paralyzed or get her neck, however as soon as the blade eft his hands he ran away. The blade however missed his preferred target and hit her side instead sticking lightly into her flesh only about a inch or so.

When the other one got tackled he was taken aback. He let Cody slam him into the wall as he started at the figure on the ground cursing under his breath that he harmed Aslinn. When Cody spoke about asking why they did it he laughed a bit before carefully slipping his own knife out of his pocket and talking. "Do you think a filthy human who was born and raised as a human has any place waltzing right on in and sweeping the Alpha off her feet and taking the reigns. You don't belong with her you uncultured SWINE." he nearly shouted the last part before jamming the knife into Cody's thigh hoping to cause him to fall over so he could run away like his buddy. He didn't have any Idea Aslinn had even been hit by a blade but he intended on getting out of there.

Aslinn lay unconscious upon the ground her body leaking a small bit of blood from her head wound and the knife. Her body seemed to ave lost it's human form and her fur was turning crimson around the wounds; the blade however was helping to hold a good bit of the blood in. and would serve as an identification tool later in going after the two attackers should they both get away.

When Cody pulled the blade out of her side massive bit of blood squirted out until he added pressure onto it. When he picked her up she rested against him out cold. Her blood beginning to stain his shirt.

As soon as he got them into a medical center several people were lazily drinking some coffee. The center was open but it was namely staffed to monitor those requiring long term care. As soon as Cody shouted though they all turned to see him.

As soon as they saw the bloody shirt and pants on Cody they ran on over bringing a stretcher with them. One of the doctors quickly scooped her up into his arms before laying her down and carting her off to an emergency room. One of the doctors had brought a wheel chair over for Cody. "Sir we need you to stay with us. I can see your legs injured; can you tell us what happened? Also any medical allergies, and blood type?" he said softly as he carefully rolled his pants leg up not wanting to hurt him any worse. A nurse stood by preparing to record the information as the doctor began moving him into the other emergency room.

Aslinn had been bandaged all along her side and the doctors had done what they could. Shed been coheriant for a few minutes but they'd given her something to make her sleep, since shed been feisty.

It wasn't long though and suddenly a doctor could be heard discussing something outside with someone. "I need you to take them home and no being a jerk to the boy. Its the alpha's orders loopy or not she wants to be home. We've done all we can for the night" The boy was the same one from the cafe. "Jeeze I know. I'm not gonna hit him when he's down gramps. Besides I'm not the alpha I can't change her mind only a fool thinks they can." Once he was done venting he walked into the roon.he had a lovely long blade strapped on his back.

He walked over to Aslinn looking at Cody before speaking. "She apparently would rather be in her own bed than here. So I'm gonna have you hold her while I push." He carefully slid his hands under her back and knees looking at cody for a reply before he gave him Aslinn.

"well what you think is happening and what will be happening are two different stories. you're staying in the chair until you hit the bed at least for tonight. you can't very well push a chair and keep hold of her." The boy spoke sensing Cody's frustration. He knew Cody would try arguing it more but he quickly scooped Aslinn up and plopped her in his lap before mumbling. "Besides what if those men came back. In your state you'd be dead and apparently so would she. I'm not dumb enough. to think I can change her opinion. As much as I don't like you on a personal level I have some honor." He quickly got behind the chair and started pushing him. He didn't like this one bit but for her sake he'd do it.

As soon as Aslinn was in Cody's lap she whimpered as her body curled up from the sudden coolness. It seemed that even she knew her physical limits at least in her sleep. As she curled up her tail seemed to lay limply against her body not even swishing in the slightest.

"we are not all crazy like that. Allow me to explain your presence threatens other men here. When an alpha mates and an offspring is due parents teach their kids as soon as the gild is born to not harm the child; if it's a girl the boys are taught to try and win her over; boy then be their best buddy. The reverse is said for women." He let Cody stew over that as he continued pushing them. He took them through the few well lit area's it was a slightly longer path but these area's were well lit making it harder for any unwanted visitors.

After a few minutes though he spoke softly to Cody. "Keria was first born it is only natural to assume she'd have become alpha. For many years it was only firstborn males; if a female were born first then a son later the son would be next alpha. That changed eventually and the families still wanted the firstborn but now it could be male or female. Wolves rely on the alpha, beta, and omega system; muh like we do. When Keira was born we were all told to play nice and win her over. When Alslinn was born it was a slightly different message; play nice but Keira is to be successor so go for her." It was slowly becoming clear to Cody that if Keira hated her sister these kids were pretty much given free reign to pick on her.

"Keira would often spend days bullying Aslinn and getting all of her friends in on it. Aslinn often his in her room buried in books.Her father didn't pay much attention and assumed it was family antics until one day one of the village boys had been acting on Keira's orders and caused Aslinn to break her arm. Keira tried covering it up by forcing Aslinn to lie but the doctor knew otherwise ad when everything came to light her father was mortified. For almost four years Aslinn had been beaten, bullied and bruised; for no reason other than Keira thought it was funny. When Keira entered her first heat she grew a string of men flocking to her, willing again to do anything for her. I am only a year younger than Aslinn so i wasn't really much of a Keira person anyways. When her father died and it came to light Aslinn was the successor many men flipped their tune, men already on the bandwagon became more driven, and those who where still team Keira devised plans to get rid of her." When the boy spoke it suddenly became very clear that Keira had some hate for her sister that consumed her and Aslinn would forever pay the price like an Omega if her father hadn't have stepped in.

Once he got them back to Aslinn's house he unlocked the door using her key before returning it and bringing them both inside. He took Aslinn to her bedroom helping Cody place her upon the bed and cover her up before he spoke about the cafe incident "earlier in the cafe that is how men treat competition. When there is no longer a fight most forgive and forget some however still hold grudges." It seemed he was offering some semblance of advice before he slipped several pill bottles on the nightstand. "i'm leaving but those are pain pills for the both of you. They're labeled as to who gets what but doctors gonna be by in the morning." When he finished that bit he spun around and waved before he began walking towards the door hoping to head home.

When Cody followed him the boy groaned. He didn't want to find up getting yelled at when this boy hurt himself further. He turned to face him just in time to hear the story. "even in the human world people do this. Girls fling themselves at millionaires. Traits that are desirable such as wealth, power and brains, are all what people somewhat seek." It wasn't as bad in the human world but he did want Cody to know what was going on. Suddenly he put his hand on the boys shoulder and told him "go rest, If anything come the morning Aslinn may be in a better mood and coherent enough to talk." Once that was out of the way he opened the door and left.

As soon as it had been light out Aslinn had woken up. When she awoke she had sat up and bit her lip wincing. She was up and about walking around pulling stuff out of her closet but eventually she'd laid back down. The bandages that were wrapped around her had gotten soaked slightly from her sleep. She'd tossed around a bit and popped one of the stitches out. Upon entering the room Cody would have witnessed the blanket on the floor with a small bit of red staining the white. "morning" was all she mumbled when she came in as she leaned against some pillows propped up.


Her mother was in the kitchen preparing breakfast for them. The smells had begun filling the whole house with an inviting and warm scent.
