Now pleasantly warmed by the fire, Robin took up his bags again and rose eagerly when Aya approached. He'd hoped to be able to room with the friend he'd made, but hadn't wanted to be the first to ask. "That would be great. The top floor seems pretty popular, but I think Room One is still empty?" He pointed at the first ground-floor room and took a step toward it.

Chopin stretched and jumped from the chair, trotting ahead toward the room as if to claim it first.

As he passed, Robin directed a friendly smile at the distracted-looking man who'd sat on the nearby couch.

"His coat is beautiful. It took me a lot of effort to convince him to be on my team." and she zapped the deerling back inside his pokeball. "I want to open a salon where humans and pokemon can come in and relax."

They had followed the crowd and ended up at the cabin together. Once inside, a snooty lady, who apparently hated to see wet puddles out on the clean dry floor, welcomed them and told them that the rooms they get to stay in is based on first come first served. What's this? She's not showing us around in this ginormous place?

Chris looked at Cambria. "Sharing a room sounds wonderful.Which one should we pick?" She watched people walking into rooms 3 to 5 the most. That's when Chris had spotted Lex again when the crowd started to spread thin. "Cambria give me a quick minute before we go. There's another person i met on the sleigh ride here," she told her new acquaintance.

"Lex! Lex over here! Which room are you staying in?" she shouted at him by the lobby, and waved her arms back and forth excitedly as she stood beside Cambria.

Jack was used to being dragged along and didn't offer any resistants when Xander steered him over to one of the corners. Siting quietly on one of the beds he double checked his stuff and started to claim his bed. Once he was done he sat there unsure of what they should do next.

Ch. 6: Time for Fun!

Large silver bowls filled with berries have been set out on small tables scattered about the main room. A fire is lit in the fireplace, adding a tinted glow to the room, setting a cozy atmosphere. It’s dark out now, and the group is understandably tired from the long trip and excitement along the way. “Gather around please! And help yourself to snacks.” He shot a look at Pearl, who had her face stuck in one of the silver bowls. She looked up and gave a berry juice covered grin. The Captain shook his head and returned her, she probably should be out in the cabin anyway, given her size. “Now then, this will be short so no need to get cozy! I’m sure you’d all rather wait for that in your beds. Anyway, I’m glad you all could make it, and I hope you’re having a fun time so far! I’m just here to list off the activities we have planned for you tomorrow!”

“Right out here in front of the cabin, we’ll have a snow-poke making contest! I’ll explain more out there tomorrow for anyone participating. Next is ice-skating, obviously down by the lake. Then there is sled racing, on the hill to the left of the cabin, and finally ice-fishing, also by the lake, but not in the same area as ice-skating of course!”

“Now back to your rooms and I’ll see you all later for these fun activities!”

This thread is now simply the cabin thread, only post here if your character is in the cabin. You must post your character exiting the cabin and going to an event before you can post in the separate event thread. You can only post in one area at a time, and must have your character exit one activity before going to another. The activities begin now, but in RP time it is another day so you may RP your character waking up, grabbing breakfast, then going to an activity if you want.

Arissa fed Ronen a few berries as she listened to the Captain introduce tomorrow's activities. Sounded like there would be a lot going on, she might have a tough time choosing what to do first. But there would be time to think on that later, for now she and her pokemon needed sleep.

In the morning they felt well-rested and ready to dive into the day's activities. Arissa fed Ronen a breakfast of oatmeal with berries, though he got as much of it on him as in him and needed to be washed up afterward, Then he was wrapped in a scarf and tucked into his sling so he'd be warm and safe when they headed out side. Arissa also bundled up in a warm coat, hat and gloves before making her way to the lake to check out the Ice Fishing.

[Exiting to ice fishing]

Lex moved from his room to join the others in the main room. Which was warm and cozy. Very, very nice. He gave a small grin at the dragonite and relaxed, looking around. Activities... ya?

Well, maybe they wouldn't be so bad. They sounded friendly and not dangerous, like omg you will end up destroyed and surrounded by a mass of angry pokemon. Ribs was still peeved.

He retreated to his room and the girls to sleep.

In the morning, he grabbed a quick breakfast for both him and Hollin. He bundled up in the old batter coat, still warm even if it was patched in places and set out towards the Ice Fishing area.

[Exiting to ice fishing]

"Oh--" Robin was startled, but followed willingly along as Aya led him from the room.

Chopin hopped up on a table and grabbed a mouthful of berries, placing them in a pile on the tabletop before digging in. Her human took a handful for himself, munching as he listened to the captain.

"What do you think you'd like to try first?" Robin asked Aya. "We talked about ice skating before, but I'm sure there'll be time for everything."
