Howecho Echo looked over to Jinthel "I'll try not to begin a fight but i'll fight if i have to." he noticed that she didn't try to move away from him glad that she trusted him a little.

Cortez Maj______________________________________________ Cortez watched the two talk to each other and he said, "You need not worry about a fight. I was merely talking about the way you were standing. It shows me that you are thinking that I would actually attack a student." He stood regularly back up, and laid against the tree. Then, he noticed Jinthel had a slightly confused expression. He mentioned, "Sorry Jinthel. I was just reminiscing on old memories, nothing really else. That happens when I let my mind wander." He popped his shoulders then looked at Echo and said, "I would like to test your actual sword fighting ability eventually. You'd have to fight my best friend, Liustraes. He uses a titanium-steel alloy in his sword." He stiffened his poise, but continued lying against the tree. ()

HowechoEcho looked over to Cortez when he started talking "Liustraes....is he the one who was standing next to Hitaeru? I wouldn't mind testing it my self, I've been told that i was born with a weapons in my hands mostly swords." he noticed that he had gotten stiff but he didn't ask about it.

Their conversation had turned to weapons and fighting apparently, which wasn't something she was very interested in. In fact, it scared her a little, but she just studied the flower Echo had given her and tried to keep calm. HowechoEcho sighed when he saw Jinthel studying the flower, looking back to Cortez he asked the question he wanted to ask "Why are you so stiff?"

Cortez Maj______________________________________________ Cortez thought for a moment, pursing through his memories and then the lines of the camera through his head. He stated, "Ah yes, right before I met you, and right about the time Hitaeru met that Noelle girl. Liustraes is the Math teacher; you probably knew that, but he is a very good swordsman for several reasons. Also, try not to get his by his sword, I'd rather not have to patch you up." He noticed that Jinthel became disinterested with their conversation, so he was slightly relieved that Echo asked about that. Cortez focused back on Echo and said, "There are a few things. One, it is unusual for me to be in a conversation so long. Two, I mainly get uncomfortable if other people do. Finally, It's easier for me to stand this way since I stand in a very upright position, my knees usually lock when I stand regularly, so this actually helps me." He relaxed a bit when he said that, but he was still stiff. ()

She didn't mean to upset anyone, but it wasn't like she could possibly contribute anything to the conversation anyway. Not to mention that, even if she coud've said something, she wouldn't know what to. So she just continued looking the flower while Cortez and Echo talked. HowechoEcho chuckled "yea i don't want to be patched up." Looking back to Jinthel as she studied the small petals of the flower whispering "Way to cute." He listened to Cortez's explanation "Then you need to relax more." he chuckled softly when Cortez relaxed a little but was still stiff.

Cortez Maj______________________________________________ Cortez looked between them and said, "It's hard to relax when you have a dreadful past." He relaxed the stiffness of his body, as he noticed that Jinthel was not nervous anymore. He said to Jinthel, "You seem troubled. Oh, and I found your schedules, by the way." He opened his briefcase, taking out a few small pieces of paper. He walked to the two teens and gave them their schedules. He walked back to his briefcase, closing it and then said, "If you have my class, don't worry if you are late. I don't mind."()

She ducked her head even more and stared at the flower. She had no idea what he meant.. She was sure she wasn't cute at all. But that didn't stop her from feeling embarrassed, though it wasn't in a bad way. She glanced up at Cortez when he spoke, then looked down again, her expression turning kinda sad.. That was something she understood all too well. She shrank back when he approached them, edging closer to Echo. Cortez Maj______________________________________________ Cortez looked at the two and smiled before hearing a bunch of ruckus from the entrance. He sighed and said, "Well, I have to go. Trouble is afoot at the entrance, and I definitely do not need anymore injuries today. I already had to knock someone unconscious." He stood up and walked to the entrance sighing because he knew there was a lot of people, and a few of them were probably human. {Exit to Entrance} ()

She didn't mean to.. It just sort of happened and she couldn't stop herself from thinking about it once she had started. She shuddered a bit as she remembered the terrible look on her father's face and her mother's attempts to stop him, then blinked and looked up in surprise when she heard Echo's question. She blinked back tears as she looked at him sadly and just shook her head. She looked around after that and noticed that Cortez had gone. HowechoEcho gently poked Jinthel's cheek when she frowned again as he looked around for Cortez. "He must have left. Wonder where he went." he didn't really care for him he only cared for Jinthel. turning back to Jinthel he waited for her to stop frowning.

She still looked sad. It was hard not to be, when she had been thinking of something so depressing just moments ago.. And the thoughts still lingered in the back of her mind, like a black cloud. It was impossible to stop thinking of it completely because even if she didn't consciously acknowledge the events, she knew what had happened and every time someone talked to her, it was a reminder.. She shook her head again, then slowly stood up. She knew where Cortez had gone.. She remembered what he said about the school's entrance. Something about trouble, so she knew to avoid that part of the school.
