I will remember that~ I said playfully. I held him and rested my head on his shoulder as he held me. I squeezed my eyes happily when he scratched behind my ears.

When he pulled away and left with a kiss, I smiled, a warm fuzzy feeling in my chest. I think I was in love. I watched him go with the pot of tea, and I finished up the pancakes, before I heard him head for the shower... something about no peeking. I just giggled in response.

I love you~! I said loudly enough that he could hear me back.

I ate mine quickly and left a stack of them on the counter for him to eat when he got out of the shower.

I then headed out there myself. Finita was busy still downing the tea. She was standing now, and eventually she came back up for air with a relieved sigh.

Ah! Silvia! Do you need to head to work today? She asked.

I do. But I can make it a short day. Infact, I think it might be wise if I arranged some time off...

Please do. Said the Minotauress. I think it might comfort the new test subjects the more the other transformed people are there.... or it might scare them. She shrugged.

I laughed. I'll have some questions from my dad at work. I'll try to, ah, hop around the questions as much as I can.

Oh! I have a favor to ask of you.

Hmm?

I have a Lexus IS C in the parking lot with three flat tires. Can you take care of that for me?

I can! I'll have someone take care of it as soon as possible.

I can walk to work from here... and I think it's the best idea to do that today, actually.

Allow me to escort you to the front. She said, before pushing the button to the elevators.

Cecelia waved at me from within her tank, and I waved back. I heard her musical giggling.

She pushed the tank into the elevator and I stepped in after her.

Finita pushed Cecelia's tank into the observation room, and then she proceeded to escort me to the front lobby.

I walked into the lobby first, and I noticed a pretty lady with blue hair in a pair of buns signing the contract, sitting next to a rather nervous looking younger scientist with spiky blonde hair and blue eyes.

I paused when I heard a loud thud behind me, and some mild swearing.

I turned back to her.

You okay?

She ducked down even lower then usual and stepped through the door.

Why is that door frame smaller then the others!? She ranted, though she seemed half amused, half annoyed. She had a bit of plaster stuck to one of her horns. Remind me, when the tests are done we need to have all the doors remodeled. Made bigger!

I just laughed at this. Wahahahaha!

Finita just smirked and pulled off the piece of plaster with a pop sound. She looked at it.

Finita looked down at the blue haired woman, her ears wiggling in confusion. She even stooped a little to get a better look at her.

Err... Costume?

She glanced to me and I laughed, before turning and starting to walk away.

Hey, don't just leave me here fox woman!

I glanced backwards and laughed, before suddenly vanishing from sight. A breeze ruffled several of the scientist's coats before the door opened from the force of the breeze, then closed.

Finita sighed, pulling on one of her horns. She noticed the young blonde haired mn who must be Alex, considering the picture in his portfolio that she had reviewed. She then looked back to the blue haired lady with the buns in her hair.

My form not a costume miss... I am a real Minotaur. ... don't panic please...

She gingerly straightened to her full height, carefully making sure her head or horns didn't hit the ceiling.

This is the Mythos Project. A book was discovered in a temple in the mountains... and within it contained a series of rituals within that transformed human woman into various mythological creatures. I was the first to go through one of the rituals... And well, this is what I ended up as. We didn't know what they did in the beginning... but since no one has been hurt too badly yet... and no one has turned deadly insane and dangerous... We have decided to continue.

She nodded towards the door.

That was another; she is now a Kitsune, a sacred fox of Japanese lore. A Ninetails at that.... and the only one who can shape shift into a human...

Finita smiled and saluted her in the Minos fashion, before her comment on her eyes made her face go red with a blush.

My name is Finita Vyne. She said with a smile, before her ears wiggled and a blush crept across her cheeks, obviously surprised by the woman's sudden topic of discussion. At least I don't recall.... and I don't think anyone's hit on me since I became a Minos either...

She then looked over to Alex, who was one step away from jumping up and down in excitement. Well, he was handling this better then she thought he would.

And you are? She asked of both of them.

((It's a very expensive Gaia hobby.))

I was short. She said, amused at his reaction. I used to be the shortest person working here. She looked down at herself, her tail swishing. Well... that's not the case anymore.

When he introduced himself she nodded. Most call me Head Scientist, but I prefer to be called Finita. IT will be nice working with you too.

Would you two like to see the observation area? She asked. There is another ritual in the process of being set up... It just needs to dry out a bit.

Finita's head snapped up from where she had been looking down at Alex. Unfortunately, due to her size one of her horn tips slammed into the ceiling, causing the ceiling to rain more plaster onto her head and armored shoulders.

The Minotaures groaned, before reaching up and slowly sliding the horn out of the ceiling tile. Shaking her head and dusting more of the stuff off of her, she turned to the new arrival.

Err, you are here for voluntary testing for Project Mythos, yes? She said awkwardly. Yes... you are in the right place.

(yeah I know. xD I'm so close to level 2 but I don't know what formula to go for. >.>; everything is so darned expensive in the gold store and in the marketplace. xP Plus there's always that guarantee that the item will fail causing you to waste all of that money. xD)

Alex laughed nervously. "I-I see. Well alright Finita." he stated happily. "Thank you for looking at my profile. I'll do the best I can!" the young man grinned giving her a thumbs up. It was clear he was full of enthused fire, maybe a bit immature as well, but he was young after all.

He winced hearing her horn pierce the ceiling. Used to be short huh? The woman probably still wished that sometimes. Alex was doing all he could to hide back a laugh. His new boss was so silly!

Olivia placed her hands together and smiled. "One big happy family! I like it." she stated and nodded to Finita when she mentioned about observing. When the Minotauress bumped her horn into the ceiling she gasped, hands over her mouth. That had to be painful! She turned and smiled seeing Helena, another woman who was most likely going to change. Oh this was so exciting!

Why..was she so excited though? The women began to ponder that question. In all her life she never thought about changing herself, so why...did she want to all of a sudden?

Ratchet, fully dressed and ready to start the day, figured everyone was in the front office. After all they were expecting some more subjects today. More women becoming mystical creatures. He wasn't sure if he wanted to see it and with his new girlfriend gone, Ratchet had no one's hand to hold for support. Though he would carry on.

He entered just when his boss smashed her horn in the ceiling. Standing there a bit dumbfoundedly he laughed. "Oh man! We'll need to construct this place better for you Head Scientist! Are you alright?" he asked her walking up to the Minotaur.

Passing Olivia and Alex, the woman gave him a wink while the teen kid just stood there waiting. He must have been the new guy? Noticing Helena he held his hand out to her for a handshake. "Hello there I'm Ratchet Clemetts. I see you have one of the flyers, welcome then. I hope Finita here hasn't startled you any. As you can see, this project we're working on is magical. Of course I can't really say much, so I'll just leave the rest to my boss. Speaking of which. You need my help with anything Head Scientist?" he asked getting all professional once more.

She ran her fingers through the Minotaur's mane of red locks, and gently touched her snout, poked the side of her arm and even ran her fingertips lightly along one of Finita's ears. When she was done, she had a look of astonished wonder. "This is...I have no words to describe..." she murmured, looking somewhat intrigued at the mention of a kitsune, whatever that was. Helena was satisfied. Her eyes did not lie after all.

"You are real as the light of day!" She could feel a childish enthusiasm well up within her chest and she shook her head, trying to take it all in, to make her thoughts make sense.

Remembering her manners, she suddenly realised that perhaps she had crossed a personal boundary and she looked up at the taur with a placating smile "I am sorry. Thank you. I just needed to do that. I suppose since I haven't run screaming then I must be interested," she chuckled. "Either that or my feet are cemented to this floor"

She looked over as another man enter the front area and shook his hand when he introduced himself. "Nice to meet you, Mr Clemetts. I am Helena. Helena Kaffei. No, no...well, I lie! She did startle me but I'm calming down now" she spoke honestly, poking fun at herself. "Magical? So that explains things" she sounded curious, fascinated.

I'm glad to see that you are interested miss Helena. Said Finita, who handed her a clipboard with the contract on it before Ratchet escorted them all away.

Now finding herself alone in the lobby, she carefully squeezed herself out the door this time before heading down to the late Celeste's room. She set the water filter on high before retrieving the body, and took her to a laboratory well away from the observation rooms and the new subjects. Imagine the questions she would get if she was found carrying a dead mermaid?

She gave them their instructions, before wringing herself out and heading to go talk to the construction workers.

When Ratchet finally caught up with her, she waved the men away. She looked troubled.

None of them know where the stingray came from... she said quietly to Ratchet. If it wasn't one of the construction workers... then who was it?

Meanwhile the Chamber had the roof of it sealed off, save for the hatch which had a ladder running down-- the only way in and out. Now, save for the window in which one looked through, it looked more like a stone cavern deep in the earth in which various cave fungi were growing. There was more equipment in there, with tubes and large bottles. They all had small Celtic knots on them, were made of stone, and looked ancient but still in good condition for how old it appeared to be. There were gemstones, metals, and lots of stone of various types embedded in the walls...

The group approaching the observation room heard singing. It was the most beautiful singing they had ever heard, along with the gentle sound of a lyre playing.

Upon entering, they were greeted with the sight of not just the rocky cavern, but of the young siren known as Cecelia, who was swimming about in circles around the tank as she waited in her portable tank with her long teal tail, her pale white hair, and her gemmed top, and her ivory lyre.

She paused upon seeing the new arrivals. Her song wound down to a stop and she waved.

"Hello!"
