Walking from her walk-in closet, Lillian was pretty sure that she had everything in order for when Adrian took her to see the what was deeper in the cavern. "Adrian I think that--" she began saying to Adrian, though stopped as she saw her mother. "Mom! What happened? Oh, wait... Daddy told you about what was said and I'm grounded aren't I?" she asked her mother, sighing, figuring that she probably ruined her chance to get out of the house in the morning. "No honey, you're not grounded, I was only checking to see if you wanted a good meal for dinner." Rosaline said as she looked at her daughter with a reassuring glance. Lillian looked to her mother and said, "That's a relief... I thought that I was grounded for snapping at Daddy like I did, though I can imagine that it's bound to happen eventually. And Sure, I'd like a good meal. I think that Adrian would like one too, though you'll have to be sure that you make it and not I because... Well, you know what I do to anything that I try cooking... Heh heh..." she said, sighing and rubbing her head in embarrassment as she admitted to her not being able to cook a good meal.

Adrian shrugged before he chuckled. "Trust me, Lillian, I'm probably not much better at cooking than you are; last time I had a decent meal the rain put out my fire before the food was finished cooking," he said with a sigh, rolling his shoulders as he nodded slightly, agreeing with her idea that he'd like a good meal. He wondered if he should tell her about the hot spring in the cavern, though it was deep under what most would think was the ground. He did, however, have plenty of bathing supplies; he didn't often use the hot spring except in winter, which was coming soon, hence why he had been trying to prepare supplies.

Lillian looked at Adrian and gave a short laugh. "Anything that anyone cooks is better than my cooking. I can't cook anything, well for some reason I can actually make brownies without burning them, but anything else gets burned, isn't cooked right or something else is wrong with the food. I can't make food, though I could make some brownies for you. Though you'll have to tell me what you'd want in them, since I'm not going to just add or not add things and have them not get eaten." she said as she went through a mental list of everything that she'd need and wouldn't need, so that she could be sure that these brownies would turn out right. "Oh, Mom, you can go make up some of that fried chicken that you're so good at making. I can bet that Adrian might like that and it's been a long time since you've made it." she said, turning to her mother and giving a begging, pleading look. "All right. I'll make that and I can get the things that you need for the brownies." Rosaline said as she turned and left the room to go prepare dinner; yet that might be tough, seeing that the maids were told not to let her cook by Mr. Stacey. However, what Mr. Stacey did not know was that Rosaline was such close friends with the head maid that they could have been sisters and she let her do the cooking whenever she wished.

Adrian chuckled with amusement. "It's funny, but when it comes to cooking I'm about as skilled as a rock, but preserving food... that I'm fairly decent at and I have a fair bit of dried and smoked fish saved up just in case," he said thoughtfully as he rubbed his jaw; he wasn't sure why his jaw was starting to ache, but it was slowly but steadily getting worse.

Lillian leaned against a wall as she watched her mother leaving to go make up some dinner. "I see. I couldn't do that even if my life depended on it... I couldn't really hurt anything and then have to clean and cook it. I really don't like fish to begin with though. It makes me sick even smelling the stuff... Don't get me wrong I can somewhat eat tuna, though even that's rare." she said after she finished listening to Adrian. She shuddered at the thought of scaling, gutting and all that went with cleaning a fish and she wrinkled her nose some. "Cleaning fish is so gross..." she muttered, sticking her tongue out in playful disgust. "Making brownies is so much cleaner than making anything with icky fish." she said, laughing softly, sarcastically.

Adrian shrugged. "Well, fortunately in the cavern, you won't have to clean anything since I have enough food for winter and probably half of next spring... unless you decide to try the hot spring, then you could clean yourself," he said with a half smile; he suspected the path to the cavern would be fairly muddy due to tonight's rainfall. He knew that hot springs were fairly rare in the area, though he knew of no less than three within a eight mile radius, the one in his cavern actually being the closest at roughly one and one fifths of a mile away from their current location. He cocked his head fractionally, realizing he could sense exactly where he was as compared to locations and people he knew. He blinked, realizing he could sense his godparents even more clearly and knew they were exactly a quarter mile from his cavern between where he and Lillian were and the cavern. He shifted his jaw thoughtfully and winced as he turned towards the bathroom quickly, covering his mouth unconsciously as a bead of crimson leaked from the corner.

Lillian was still leaning against the wall as she listened to Adrian telling her that she'd not need to clean anything because there was enough food to last the winter already made up. She felt a little bad that he'd probably be heading back there and having to stay there through the winter months; although asking him to stay would probably seem really strange. That and the fact that she hadn't the authority to say that someone could stay for an extended period of time. "That's good I suppose. I would like to check out the hot spring, though I would need to take a towel, a change of clothes and other stuuf if I'm going to be using the hot spring." she said. She was not sure if she'd really actually use the hot spring, though she thought it'd be best to bring things just in case she did decide to use it. As she debated on whether she'd use the hot spring to soak or bathe in and what she'd take with her she noticed Adrian slip away in the direction of the bathroom. She wasn't sure what that had been about, although she wasn't sure that it'd be a good idea to go after him to ask why he left in such a hurry. 'Better let him be, especially if he only needed to use the restroom. That'd be embarrassing if I were to interrupt him or something...' she thought, an embarrassed looked crossing her face at the thought.

Adrian shifted his hand away from his mouth, wincing slightly as he shifted his jaw, feeling coppery liquid in his mouth before he spat out the small amount of blood that had pooled in it. What caught his eye when he did so was that his upper canines were nearly a third of an inch longer than normal while the teeth just to the inside of them closer to the front of his mouth had also lengthened slightly, both having sharp points. "Ah... s**t," he muttered, forgetting he'd left the door wide open and that his voice would carry clearly. "How the hell am I supposed to hide this? I'm not a vampire... as far as I know," he thought. He concentrated and watched his teeth slowly retract to normal, though the canines were still subtly sharper than normal; under casual investigation, however, it wasn't noticeable whatsoever. He inhaled slowly as he half turned towards the toilet before he felt an aching pain erupt and shoot up his spine straight into his head. He dropped to his knees with a strangled groan as blood trickled from his nose as he felt his muscles tensing and relaxing rapidly and painfully, almost as if his muscles were in an extremely tight massager with sharp points. Unnoticed, the tattoo on his hip was glowing a hot reddish orange color with faint veins of crystalline blue flickering through the glow. The glow was muted through his jeans, but if anyone had been standing in the doorway behind him, they would have seen it reflecting off of the sink fixture and the wall.

Lillian decided that she should go downstairs to the kitchen and check up on what things were available to use to make brownies. She hadn't seen roxy for a while and she wondered where her dog had gotten to, though she just figured that Roxy was let out to go to the bathroom or something. 'I hope that Mother's watching her because if Mr. Bailey brings that mongrel over and he does anything to Roxy, I dont' care what trouble I'd get into; I'd kill that flea bitten hound...' she thought in a growl. Roxy had been outside and playing with a squirrel, well more like harrassing the poor furry creature, though she had gotten back inside and had snuck into Lillian's room even though she hadn't needed to sneak into the room. She was curled up on Lillian's pillows when she heard someone cursing. Granted she was a dog, though she was intelligent enough to tell what words were what. She jumped off the bed and headed out of the room and she sniffed around for Lillian and she picked up her human companion's scent leading downstairs; however, she picked up another startling scent, blood. She turned and padded her way in the direction that she smelled the blood and came to the bathroom where Adrian was. She walked right into the bathroom and she made a whimpering noise before putting a paw on Adrian, giving him a look that could have almost been taken as concern in the dog's eyes.

Adrian was panting with pain as he was feeling his muscles contract and relax rapidly, though now the pain was growing stronger as he heard low cracks and pops as bones cracked and broke, regenerating just as quickly as denser and stronger bones. "W-what..... is happening.... to me?" he managed through panting breaths. He was unaware that his normally dark navy-midnight blue irises were a brilliant, slightly glowing, crystalline teal color.

Roxy pawed at Adrian again to try getting his attention, though she could tell that he was hurting and she decided to go and get Lillian. Barking, yipping and making a whole load of ruckus in the kitchen, Roxy finally managed to get Lillian to follow her upstairs and to the bathroom. Barking and somewhat growling, though it was from fear of why Adrian was hurting, the red husky pressed her nose right into Adrian's leg. "Why on earth did you drag me from the kitchen...? I don't think anything will happen to my brownies that I just put in while I'm up here, but I-- Oh my gosh! Adrian, are you all right?!" she asked as she saw Adrian appearing to be in a great deal of pain.

Adrian was breathing hard, grimacing. "I.... don't.... know... but... something... is happening... to me," he managed through short pants of pain. Unnoticed a slip of paper fell from his sleeve, a note he hadn't even known about himself, slipped from his sleeve. 'It is possible that you are Dragonseeker, but until it shows itself we cannot help. If the pain gets too bad, then contact us. -- I.M' it read while having a cell phone number.

Lillian was very scared and she had no idea what she was going to do to help Adrian, especially if he hadn't a clue what was going on either. She wished that she could be like so many people in books and on television, where they could make people better just by willing it to be, though she was only human and couldn't make miracles happen, so she'd just have to try helping him out however she could. And once she saw the note fall to the floor, she did not care if Adrian got mad at her for picking it up and reading it, but she did anyway. "So, they think you're some sort of Dragonseeker? What the heck is that anyhow? But if they can help you I'm calling them and giving them a thorough verbal smackdown and tell them they have to help you RIGHT NOW OR ELSE!" she said, getting loud with the last few words as she whipped out her cell phone, immediately pounded the phone number into her phone and waited for the phone call to go through. She knew that she didn't know Adrian and she knew that he might get mad for her taking action for something that wasn't truly her concern. However, she was starting to get angry with the fact that he was hurting right now and that there was nothing she could do and she doubted that she should let her mother know of this at all; figuring that her mother wouldn't be able to help even if she wanted to.

Ivory Malinov cocked her head, hearing the soft twittering of her cell phone's ringtone before she flicked her fingers, the phone spinning through the air before landing with a soft smack in her palm as she tapped the button to answer it. "So it has begun, has it?" she said coolly, leaning against the cavern wall; it was a beautiful if large cavern with a small natural lake and hot spring connected to it. Adrian could hear Ivory's voice as clearly as if she were in the room along with the gurgling sounds of the water in the pipes and subtle popping sounds of various cooking foods. He could keenly smell cooking chicken and chocolate as well as various herbs. He wasn't quite sure why his ears were ringing slightly.

Lillian was tapping her foot on the floor in front of her and she was listening to the phone softly ringing in her ear. It seemed like forever before the other end picked up and she was about to start running her mouth, yet was interrupted by a familiar voice. "You... You were the one outside my window, right?" she asked, but got right back to what she was going to say, "Never mind that... What the heck is wrong with him? Do you have anything to do with it? And if you do so help me I'll track you down and I"ll make you so sorry." Her voice was icy, yet it quivered slightly as she spoke. She never threatened anyone like this before, though her mind was buzzing and she wasn't really herself in that moment in time; she was even considering calling her cousins, whom of which were not truly her cousins, they were not evern truly human, but two men around her age who claimed to be distant cousins. "You know, if you don't help him I'll call my cousins and they'll take care of this for me." she snarled, waiting for a reply from Ivory.
