Still chanting the spell under her breath, her effort clear on her face as a bead of sweat rolled from her forehead and down her robes, Scarlett shrugged as best she could without upsetting the book atop her belly and the other spell components.

Still holding Lloyd's hand, Scarlett not only maintained but tightened her grip and hoped her friend would understand her body language. Something was wrong but ending the spell prematurely could have even worse effects, she had to complete the spell...

Scarlett nodded slowly, her teeth clenched in pain as another contraction hit but she did not resist as Lloyd puppeted her body into a more comfortable position.

Once seated on the floor, she nodded her head towards her desk and made a biting motion while still maintaining her chant. Should they continue the summoning in stealth she would need something to bite down on.

"You... got... to finish...it..." Scarlett mutters through clenched teeth as her body is wracked by another contraction. "Creature...is almost... through...from the other...side."

Although the pair of friends covered their tracks well in the beginning, nobody could have thought of and taken into account the smell of the realm they were opening a portal to, which in happen to smell like fire and brimstone.

With the smell of fire and brimstone on the air, Lilith's eyes immediately snapped open as her paladin training came to the forefront of her mind. Shedding her blankets and getting to her feet, Lilith quickly armed herself with the two biggests knifes she could find as her spear was too cumbersome to wield indoors. Sniffing the air, she caught the smell again and began to follow it through the house.

"Thats not the only thing thats happening I'll wager..." Lilith replied, pushing past Lloyd and continuing on her way into Scarlett's little lair, her knives still held at the ready.

With the summoning complete, the powder that made up the summoning circle quickly lost its glow and returned to its natural color and hue. The creature they had summoned however was far from being perfect as it remained temporarily stunned in the center, right next to the expecting alchemist, its minds still recovering the magical whiplash.

Sensing the creature as the source of the demonic smell, Lilith started forward preparing herself to end the monster's life before it had a chance to threaten Scarlett and her soon-to-be born baby.

Despite being in the crippling pain of childbirth, Scarlett held up her hand to try and stop Lilith's attack.

Looking at the creature again, Lilith realized it was smaller than a normal cerberus, in fact it appeared to be a adolescent or even a puppy. "But its a demon, I must kill it. Can't you smell the sulfur in the air?" Lilith asked, hesitating as Lloyd held back her hands.

Scarlett yelped in pain as another contraction tore through her body.

Pushing her paladin instincts aside, Lilith rolls her eyes and hands Lloyd her improvised weapons. "Fine, but keep that thing away from me."

Walking over to Scarlett, her hands already aglow with holy energy, Lilith knelt down beside the alchemist and began to assist her in birthing her child.

"Oh goody..." Scarlett muttered, holding her newborn daughter close to her chest as Lilith busied herself by cleaning up the room and drying what she could.

"Needless to say, thats something I'd rather not experience again..." Scarlett added, opening up her robe so the baby could latch onto one of her plump milk-filled breasts. "Although it is good to see despite the interruption of the ritual, we all came through it in one piece..."

"So you two going to key me in on what the hell you were trying to do?" Lilith said, tossing the last of the wet fabric into a basket by the door before planting herself against a wall where she crossed her arms across her generous chest.

"I understand I said go comfort Scarlett but nowhere in that sentence did I say 'go summon a demon' ...thing." She added, glancing down at the three-headed dog where it lay near her feet.
