 Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne felt bad for shocking the Lt but it was the only way she could fight without killing. She watched as she was circled once again and when there was another attempt to take out her legs she directed the electrical energy right to the rapier, sending a strong current of electricity up the blade and towards where she gripped it at the handle. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 Alexis learned fast. This time she was ready this time and jumped backwards, barely dodging the electricity that came for her. Without missing a beat she spun, doing a round-house kick aimed at Madilyne's face.

Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne saw her dodge the electricity attack and barely had time to react to the kick. In the midst of focusing her energy she had to drop her axe so she resorted in using her only attached arm to block the kick from injurying her jaw. The force of the kick caused the energy to break and sent Madilyne flying a few feet back, hitting the trunk of a nearby tree and nearly splintering it. She groaned a little and looked up, her weapon lying by the Lt's feet. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Lieutenant kicked the blade away as she walked slowly towards Madilyne. "Last chance for a painless death," she said coldly as she approached Madilyne, making a few practice swings in the air with her rapier. "You're not bad, but you're no match for me." She stood over Madilyne, her blade pointed down at her. "I don't see what's so great about the DWMA anyway."

Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne watched as the Lt approached and kept a solem face as she spoke. With only one arm and one eye she couldn't fight well, even though she did not fear the Lt's blade since it couldn't downright kill her Madilyne herself couldn't kill......but she could stall. "I personally haven't been to the academy yet......today would have been my first day....but professor sent me on this mission first. I don't know why." She said as she glanced up and noticed her axe turn back into her severed arm. Perfect. She gave a small grunt as though she were clearing her throat and the arm began to crawl closer. "I was hoping to learn more about my new body at the academy....because father says I'm special." She continued to stall until the right moment. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lt. Alexis replied. She held the blade to Madilyne's throat. "The way you are, I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I sent you back to him in pieces. I have no idea how something like you would even come to exist in the first place." She pressed her sword into Madilyne's throat, though not enough to cut her. "Any last words, Weapon?" she asked.

Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne never faltered, even as the tip of the rapier was pressed against her throat. At the mention of last words she smiled a little. "Yea....I have to hand it to you..." she stiffled a giggle as her arm reached the Lt's feet behind her. "You fight well.....you deserve a pat on the back." As soon as the last word escaped her lips, her arm quickly made its way up the Lt's back, taking a firm hold of a bundle of her hair then giving a forceful and quite strong yank back. At the moment of distraction Madilyne hopped to her feet and grabbed the blade of the rapier with her attached arm, yanking it towards her in the intent to disarm

The Lieutenant raised an eyebrow but her expression quickly turned to horror as she felt the hand climb up her back and grab her hair. She felt the rapier leave her grip as Madilyne pulled it away. She began flailing and spinning around, grabbing at the arm with both of her hands as she tried to pull it off of her.

Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne flipped the rapier in her hand and caught the handle as her arm struggled with the Lt, never loosening its grip on her hair as it eventually made a swift yank towards a tree, backing the Lt against the trunk as Madilyne pointed the tip of the sword at her chest though hand no intention of harming the girl. "This nonsense will stop." She demanded with the same stern tone and determined attitude her father gave that sent chills down the spines of nearly everyone he met. "I had nor do I have any intention of harming you with this or any other weapon but what I learned from my father and what I can do to someone without the aid of a weapon is far worse than death now listen to me!" She said in one breath. "I'm not the type to hold a grudge so I am not mad you turned on me but don't you think our number one priority right now is to get this sapphire back and find out who this spy is? " she said, keeping the weapon to the Lt's chest as a precaution. "I can help you if you just give me a chance but i also won't hesitate to deal severe damage in defense if you attack me again. Now what do you say, bury the hatchet and let me help? " she looked at her with a more calm demeanor. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Lieutenant continued trying to pry the arm off of her hair. "Get this thing off of me!" She yelled as she pulled. She glared at Madilyne. "I am an officer of the Bahamian Police Force! Let go of me this instant! How dare you betray us and try to take the Sapphire for yourself!" She said.

Detective Meyers
 "What is the meaning of this!?" A voice said from a little ways away. Detective Meyers came up to them, a scowl on his face. "Is what she saying true? Why are you attacking one of my best agents?" The Lieutenant had seen the detective coming and accused Madilyne out-loud in an attempt to make herself look innocent. "Release her at once! And where is the Sapphire?"

She merely kept the rapier in her hand and lowered it as she looked at the Lt. Her arm released the girls hair and crawled to Madilyne's leg. "Tell him the truth Lt Alexis. Tell him or I will show him." She said with no hint of worry. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Detective looked back and forth between the two, a frown on his face. "Someone is going to tell me what is going on right now," he said as he folded his arms. The Lieutenant glared at Madilyne. "We found the Sapphire, but Madilyne tried to steal it from me and take it for herself. She took my rapier when I wasn't looking and forced me back. You came just in time." The detective's frown deepened, but he wasn't one to judge or make a decision until all the facts were in. He looked back at Madilyne. "Is this true?" He asked her simply, wanting to hear her side of the story.
