Kevin Kelly
Darkness elementalEverything has its wonders, even darkness and silence...Kevin groaned as yet another demon somehow appeared in Yosuke's yard without problems or being challenged. I'm thinking we seriously need a new place to lay low for a whileHe thought exasperatedly.
He watched all that was going on with eagle eyes, taking in all the details he could and filing them away for later in case they proved to be useful. As soon as Kisami started speaking, Kevin rolled his eye's slightly, turning his back on her. "Keep a tight hold on your conductor" He said, and with a pinch of his power scrambling the sound to all but Senel. Darkness had a way of confusing even the most sought after words.
He moved away from the two groups of matching elemental and demons, and leaned against the house wall. This way he could still observe everyone in the garden and see any other wall jumping intruders the moment they appeared. He swore the next person who tried to jump that wall would be falling through a shadow portal to right beside him to be restrained....and I learn to be content there in the darkness.

Senel " El " Rourke
"Honestly! People like to think that I am harmless..The very notion is laughable"
Senel could understand that he was being a little harsh but he disliked being accused for something he had no control over but regardless Yosuke is still and will always be his friend so he wasn't intentionally trying to provoke anything but quite the opposite. "Its quite alright Yosuke, I understand how you must feel after such an event. You were both caught off guard and it happens to the best of us." He would have stated in order to comfort his friend. He would then look over his shoulder at the demon Yosuke would point to in which Senel still couldn't figure out why she was still there and more so why Kira was speaking with her, he understood she helped Kira with her wounds now but still she a demon for Christ sake, she could be deceiving them and here both Kira and Yosuke was so easy to believe and trust her, when they received there conductors they were also told about the demons that want them so he was just mind boggled.
Senel tried not to voice his opinion as to not cause any more problem than there previously and already were. Hearing the demon speak he didn't even bother to look at her for he was not so trusting and was already angered at the fact that he wasn't there to help his friends in the first place, when she decided to walk up to Yosuke which meant passing him in the process, Senel looked at the seemingly young girl and while he wanted to grab her hand and stop her from touching Yosuke since he did not trust her he didn't since he didn't want to be seen as picking on her despite the fact she was a demon. Watching the demon and energy she released into Yosuke he was prepared to strike should anything ill happen to his friend but when it turned out that Yosuke was now full of energy he relax a bit but did not allow his guard to fall.
He couldn't help but feel his hatred for demons course through his being drive him to believe that the demon was playing at some angle, trying to win over there trust and especially Kira's in order to retrieve her gem, this might not be true but it was what he was led to believe thus when Cyan and KIra began to go through some kind of contract he was mere inches away from stopping it but was to late in doing so. He would attempt to question it all but before he could the winds that surrounded Yosuke property had been disturbed and that he felt immediately thus his attention shifted to yet another demon yet this time he felt and odd connection with her. So she must be the demon of wind, now this is just great. my counter part just had to be an attractive female.
With his eyes now trained on the female sitting on the wall he watched her intently with the wind in his immediate area under his control yet still calm while nodding to Kevin to acknowledge his warning. As the demoness would dismount the wall and eventually make her way towards him, he took in every visual detail he could about the young woman before she would reach him and begin to conversate with him. "Your not so bad yourself." He would retort with a smirk on his lips and hands in his pants pockets, watching as she would twirl around him every bit if not more cautious of her than he was of Cyan but he couldn't help but laugh a bit at her next statement. "Oh, today is just full of surprises eh?" He stated as a form of sarcasm. "Trust when I tell you I'm not in the slightest worried about you or your friends. Though I am flattered you would come all this way to introduce yourself but our little lover quarrel will only end in one way when it does happen. And when I do tap that a** for all your friends to see Bambina, don't feel ashamed because they will join after if not before." He would stated a small chuckle of his own escaping his lips before they curled into another smirk and his eyes still trained and observing every bit of her persona. "Senel Rourke, your maker the Elemnetal of Wind. And trust I will enjoy ever bit of our little date."
"In the end what you and I think and feel doesn't matter.. until what is determined after our spirits meet on the battlefield.."

(( OOC; Taking a deep breath, Yosuke piped in with an "OHHHH SNAP YO." Although, not really.))
Although Yosuke was a bit...iffy, and worried about whatever the two Nature controllers were doing, he did trust Kira's judgement. And if she trusted this Demon enough to completely accept strange rituals at the drop of a hat, then he trusted her too. She had already helped him out, and that was all the first impression he needed to completely have faith in this Demon. He was especially glad that Kira's counterpart had no ill-bearings towards her, so no one would be targeting her specifically. Plus, the two had a lot in common, and Kira could always use another friend. At least, he hop...wait, what's that in the wind? Who...
s**t. This was just what Yosuke needed. Another demon, now threatening(?) his friend. 'Seriously, getting pretty tired of this...' He was about to ready himself into his combat stance but...Wait. Should he attack her? Senel was being clever and womanizing as always, but didn't seem the least bit nervous. Hell, it sounded more like he was trying to actively seduce his opposite, admittedly in the most hilariously pretentious way possible. Kevin just sat back like nothing was even happening. It seemed a bit odd that nobody was currently engaged in a duel to the death to Yosuke, but that was fine by him. As long as nobody tried to kill anyone, and no one glanced at Kira threateningly (Or seductively, for that matter), he wasn't gonna start something up. Although, he still kept his guard up and took stock of how much water vapor was in the air. He did feel safer though, since everyone was around, and when Senel and him worked together, they could pull off some crazy powerful moves.
But, Yosuke was slightly surprised, to say the least, when instead of violence, the Nature Demon gave him a present..This day seriously couldn't get any weirder. Wait, crap. He shouldn't jinx it. That's just begging for something more to happen. Nonetheless he threw caution to the wind, and opened the box. Inside lay a dark cerulean gem..It..It was odd. It was as if the jewel sung to Yosuke's conductor. When he touched it, he was filled with the calming sounds of the ocean, and concepts of tides rising, waves crashing against sandy beaches, and the near infinite depths of water. He couldn't quite describe it, but, he felt...sorta closer with the element of Water. That he was brushing up against a massive entity that embodied the Element.
Yosuke was astonished. His mouth slightly agape, the beauty of this stone was simply transcendent. "I..Thank you. So much..it's beautiful." Words failed him, he had no idea how he could possibly thank the Demon for giving this to him. He regained his composure and gave a smile towards the Nature Demon. "Um..What..What is this? What do I do with it..?"

But just your luck! I have first hand experience! I've jumped in a fire once and burned the Charles Dickens out of the bottom of my feet and ankles I have scars from it... also! while camping I gashed my leg open and we had to cauterize it. I am proud of my scars and sadly truth is fire + skin = %#$HGD#&*(gdd7. ^_^ Don't worry about it. I have plans. So many plans. Also. I'm still waiting on others to post.

No offense, but I'm sorta in medical school for nursing. Cauterization, while useful for closing particularly bad wounds that wouldn't normally close quick enough, can cause horrible scarring since it forces it closed rather than letting the skin naturally regenerate. They become permanent, because burns can damage the surrounding tissue, making said regeneration nearly impossible. Tl;dr? It's a driving motivation device. Shut up. emotion_awesome But if you wanna get into misconceptions, then there is the odd fact that you would burn a hole straight through the ground before being able to be hot enough to immediately vaporize water on impact. xD And it's not a conductor. >_> Hynoki already described what it was. +Multiple conductors don't do anything for Elementals, only demons.))

((OOC: I can totally explain the burning the ground thing, while heat may cause plants to wither and such, only fire causes the ground to become burned and crispy, when it's crispy like that, it's more fragile. As for Ash and vaporizing water, he's immune to heat because he's a Fire Demon, fire still burns him, and hurts him, but heat does not. And as for the permanent scarring, as you just said, this happens because the skin surrounding the wound gets damaged, but that's not applicable in this situation I'd think because as a Fire Demon, he has far more control and is able to be much more precise than a hot iron could ever be... either way I'll go with it, any reason for Ash to be hated is welcomed, just saying.))

OOC: Ok, the gem that was given was an embodiment of the element it represents. Only people who have familiarity with that particular element can use it to it as a source of storage for their power, but the gem has a down side too. Unlike the conductors, which give power, these gems simply store power given it and can be used at a more desperate time - such as if the user is injured and has stored power into the gem for healing or restoration, the gem will do it. As well as if the power is stored and then released during battle. However, there are drawbacks (So that no one can be more powerful than anyone else) - the gem drains the lifeforce of it's user in order to work. If the gem releases power that is stronger than the lifeforce of it's user, the user is seriously injured or killed. But if the user's lifeforce is stronger than the energy released from the gem at that moment, then the user is simply drained and fatigued as if the user was the one who released that energy and not the gem.
The gem, unlike conductors, stores energy from the user - but without stored energy, it does nothing save preserve the user at the very utmost last moment of life - basically putting the user into a coma to await healing or death. Either/Or.
So, now that it's been clarified, I apologize Vellick for the confusion this caused to you and everyone else. (I know it was a twist I threw in, but just a small one). Anyway, I'll be happy to post IC now!

Cyan looked at Yosuke's expression and smiled. "It is called the Ocean stone. I am not familiar with that element as you are, however, I do believe it is similar to my gem." Cyan glanced at her circlet before continuing."I was told by another, that it stores the energy placed into it by the user. In this way, should you fall injured, the energy stored within, much like a reserve of energy, will aide you. If I am correct, it will also hold battle energy should you choose." Cyan looked at the ragtag group around them. She was glad to see all the people within the backyard keeping peace, even if the tension was thicker than molasses. "However, like all magical items, be sure to use caution." Cyan stopped her explanation there. She did not wish to tell of the other side of the stone's properties. He'll learn it on his own, should he use it... She looked away and went back to Kira.
With her eyes focused, she summoned a vine and took hold of it. In a fluid movement she created a cocoon around Kira and herself. Blocking out all other beings. As soon as she did so, she gave a smirk. Well, now this ought to be interesting. Will they come after her? Will they show themselves better than the other elemental's I've associated with? Cyan wanted to test these youth.
For not only was she testing them, but it was her nature to be slightly tricky. Although she had come in peace, bonded to Kira, she was not fully friendly towards all of them. The gift she'd given to Yosuke was indeed a wonderful artifact, one she had no use for and could not possibly use it in any case. So it was of little consequence.
The young woman she had brought with her in her cocoon, now that was an artifact worth investigating. With a smile that spoke of cunning and intelligent design, Cyan kept hold of Kira as they traveled through the earth at great speed under the earth - safe in the cocoon Cyan had created around them.
"Ah, Kira, I do not apologize for capturing you like this, but I do not seek your death - so do not struggle in this place. We are far underground and I am holding up the cocoon around you and I. Cyan spoke to Kira's mind through their bond.
"Do not think ill of me, I am merely doing what is necessary. Your life will not be threatened if you do not struggle." Cyan forced the cocoon into the outskirts of town. Lets find out what they are capable of, shall we? Cyan thought to herself, carefully guarding her thoughts from Kira.

Kira had been lost in her own thoughts. Small hand on her forehead and eyes closed. She'd simply been listening to them. She couldn't see anyways. Her heart ached from stress, oh her body may have been fine but her mind. Oh she was so tired. So worried. Father would be in a sour mood, her violin- she shook her head, her face and the burns. Tears welled but didn't fall. Kira didn't panic, not at first.. She didn't scream or struggle. She was blind to most of the world. Hindered completely by her range of vision, mentally worn from a long day of too much. And now there was more to handle. More to see. More to do. She closed her eyes and stayed perfectly still. Cyan was warm to her- the feel of her. Kira swallowed, closing her eyes. Everyone would be upset and she wouldn't be able to help them calm down. Her stomach hurt. She rubbed at her wrists and looked at Cyan. She trembled, " W-why are y-you d-doing this? Wh-where are w-we? C-Cyan, I c-c-can-n-not see wh-here w-we are. M-my g-g-gl-glasses w-were b-b-brok-ken. Cyan remained silent until she brought them out of the earth. She had brought Kira to an earthen graveyard. Old trees lay on the ground charred and broken. Trees and grass were blackened by their own deaths. Lowering the vines around them, Cyan released Kira.
"Why did elemental's kill my family? Why should they be made calm for all the suffering their lives have caused my home, our home!" Cyan's emerald eyes were cold as she looked about them at the dead remains of an old forest that was destroyed by elementals long ago.
"I wish to test your friends. Haven't you ever heard the saying, 'trust none, until they've proven their worth'? For that matter, I don't trust you. My bond to you is limited because of it." As she spoke, vines sprouted out of the ground and wrapped around Kira, not tightly, but firmly holding her in place. "It is against nature's rules to kill those that I bond with, nor do I wish to harm you. But your friends, I do not find any compassion for them. Yes, I deceived them. Demon's are tricky, cunning and more intelligent than we are given credit for. However, unlike others, I do not do senseless killing and I do not see All Elemental's as enemies. For you, I do not see as an enemy - but I do not know why I was drawn to bond with you. For it was not my desire, it was Nature's desire because of your bond with it!" Cyan balled up her fists and glared at a charred tree's roots, her emerald Gem glowing in her circlet.
She turned around again to face Kira, "I will not kill your friends, unless they are found unworthy of life! Our bond only restricts my power to harm you, that is why I have not left you among them - because I do not wish to harm you." She looked at the hole in the ground where they had exited the earth. They should be following any moment now. But I will not flee. No matter how many show up. They must prove themselves worthy of life.
Cyan felt sorry for Kira, she didn't like showing her cunning and deceiving side, but she wasn't about to give up. Instead she came and stood before Kira. "Kira, I gave you my friendship - but not of my own will. But my mother's.Your friendship is welcome, none the less. Our bond is created by the trust and kinship we have. Within it, you can call upon me and my power. But because our trust is weak - due to my own distrust of all elemental's, you can easily be silenced. Our bond is also a curse to me. Just as it curses me each time the other person I bonded with long ago, calls upon my power. For this reason, I have bound you in the vines to restrict that possibility until I've tested your friends." Cyan picked up a piece of charred wood. "If, by chance you can break my spell over these vines and restrict me, know this, only one thing will restrict me if used through our bond. This, I will not tell you." Cyan moved away and sat on a broken tree trunk. Her emerald eyes looking into the hole in the ground from which they had come.
The only thing that can restrain me, is if she were to be harmed... then my powers would be restricted to only healing her... I would not be able to fight - curse this bond! Cyan thought to herself quietly as she gazed into the dark hole. But that, unless she breaks the spell miraculously, she is safe from harm and hidden from her friends in the vines. This shouldn't be too long, I hope they prove themselves worthy of life, but then, how can they be, after destroying the earth like this for the sake of growing their own powers!?
Cyan decided to make a wonderful test for each person who arrived. Using her vines, she placed a spell. "Vines of earth and soil, do not let them pass if their hearts are trouble. Test their hearts with the illusions of desire, they must pass this test or their lives will expire!" Cyan smiled at herself, she liked illusions, it was one way that Nature was one of the trickiest of all cunning creatures. Looking over her shoulder she smirked at Kira, "They will have to trust their hearts, or they will be attacked by the earthen vines." Cyan shook her head, "Let me explain. Each of them will be trapped in the vines, they will be shown their hearts desires, no matter what it will be. Should they choose to keep that desire and not let it be set free, the vine's will drag them into the earth in a living grave. Should they choose your friendship and your life over their heart's desire they will be freed, the vines will recede and your friends will have proven part of their worth. If this latter should happen, I will fight them - if they fight to the point of their own demise then they will live. But if they flee or try to hide, they will die." Cyan smiled at Kira.
"One last thing, even my powers are useless with this spell - so they will be unable to move, or fight until they've passed this part. oh and one more thing, they can't see us, or hear us, not yet anyway. So just sit back and watch the action. See what they desire above all other things, enjoy." Cyan couldn't help but feel torn between the two warring emotions inside her. On the one side, she hated violence, pain and death, but on the other, she relished it.

Kisami's eyes widened in surprise as a faint blush painted her cheeks at Senel's words. Lover's quarrel? Tap that a**? The only thing that's going to get tapped around here is his face on the ground. Repeatedly. And with great force, she thought angrily, winds whipping around her instinctively. In a flash, her cheerful mood was gone, and she seriously considered breaking her own tradition to start the fight then. "Don't delude yourself," she said quietly, eye narrowing. "This is no date. In fact, I'd say this is more of a hunt, and you're the lucky prey. At any rate, go ahead and underestimate me." She smirked and crossed her arms over her chest. "I won't argue if you want to hasten your downfall." This was what she had waited 125 years for, and she was not going to let it slip past her so easily. She was stronger than she'd ever been; she would finally avenge her parents, and every other demon who'd been made to suffer like she had at the hands of Elementals. She would have that power, the power to help and destroy at her own whim, the power to be as free as she wanted without worry.
Kisami took a step back, taking a deep breath. She forced the winds around her down; despite how much she wanted to, today was not for fighting. "So I'm glad we're--" she began to say, but never got the chance to finish. There was a commotion going on just beside her with Cyan and the Earth Elemental. A large cocoon surround them as they disappeared into the earth, leaving behind a large tunnel. Oh, Kisami thought with a smile, that must be what she meant about trusting her. It seemed that Cyan was up to some sort of trickery again, and Kisami was rather curious about it. Jumping up into the air, she hovered over the hole and looked down into it with a dubious eye. "So," she said, looking up and glancing at the other Elementals standing around, "you guys gonna go in there after her? I mean, I might be a bit mercurial, but I'm fairly straightforward. Cyan? She's a loose cannon. One minute it's all, 'Oh, let me heal you, pretty nature, go hug a tree.'" Kisami mocked Cyan, prancing around in the air with her arms hugged around herself. "The next it's, 'I will kill you and use your remains to feed the earth' and such. If I were you, I wouldn't risk my friend like that." She flashed them a huge grin. Sure, she was trying to bait them into going, but that was only because she didn't want to go first--curiosity killed the cat, and all. || OOC: On a side note, maybe we should make a separate OOC thread for the RP, since we seem to have so much of it? Just to discuss plot holes, ideas, and anything else. Not to say how you should run your RP, Kira, but I think it'd be helpful in this case. :3 ||
