This minipet really did not want to be caught. Eris huffed a bit, mildly frustrated.
Perhaps she was going about this wrong.
Landing quietly, she sauntered over to the booth, seating herself on the edge of it as she stared at the bluejay, her eyes flicking to Sparrow.
"Is this insolent little creature yours?" She bemused, eyeing the reaper with slight interest. Well, he was fairly cute. The blond was close enough to her own Invi's white that it appealed to her, although it was by no means in the Conquest Protector's style. Still, she could hardly complain, not when he was as attractive as he was.

Hm. Well her experiment didn't work, NOT chasing it was about as effective as chasing it. Oh well. Patience, perhaps, would prove to be more effective than attempting to catch it the hard way. At least it was far less tiresome.

(omfg how bad is my luck, I mean really. neutral Ignore these posts, they're mostly gonna be Eris shooting annoyed looks at the bird until I roll a 4 and it comes close enough to her for her to grab it.)
Eris ignored the creature. Because she was starting to sulk.

(FINALLY)
Although she was looking directly at Sparrow, that was not to say Eris wasn't keeping an eye on the little blue creature, which was still darting around. It seemed, however, that patience was indeed a virtue; as soon as it realized she had lost interest in the game, he came closer, trying to bait her into catching it. Still, she ignored it, instead devoting all her interest to the handsome man who owned the booth, smiling at him prettily.
Closer and closer the churrpup fluttered, until finally it came within arm's distance. Snapping her hand out, she grabbed it nimbly by the tail, bringing it close to her body and cradling it as she crooned.
"See? What a good little birdie~"

He had not exactly expected the Protector herself to be at his booth - especially considering that the last Protector Sparrow had had the pleasure of running into had snapped his scythe clear in half before shattering it into pieces in front of him.
He really, really hoped this one wouldn't do the same thing.
"Unfortunately, yes," said Sparrow with an easy smile, reaching up to fiddle with the latch on a different cage, trying to get it to stay properly. "They're little buggers sometimes, but rather unfortunately lovable enough that I can't quite get rid of them."

War's Protector mirrored Sparrow's easy smile, the corners of her lips curling in amusement as he fiddled with one of the cages. Well, he was charming enough -- she supposed the annoyance could be forgiven. It certainly wasn't his fault, and even if it was, a smile on a handsome boil went a long way for the flirtatious horsewoman. Stroking the poor little bluebird minipet with one finger, a little too predatory for it's liking, very probably, Eris flicked her wings close to her body again, being sure not to upset anything he had set up. She was careful, too, not to tangle her hair in any of the hanging decorations, although her eyes trailed upward for a second to ensure she didn't knock anything down, catching sight of his banner again before glowing amber met the boil's again. Sparrow. Was it the boil, or the minipet, she wondered? Well, that was a little silly... why would a boil be named after a bird~?
"So, might as I your name, Reaper?" She purred, reaching up to slip the churrpup back into it's cage without letting her eyes drift from him.
Predatory was certainly a good word. Nevermind that he probably had a ghoulfriend... like that had ever disturbed her before.Kurmato Except I realized I was an idiot and skipped a step. After you reply I'll start rolling to put him in cage 2 ;;; SRY

Anddd... back to cage two. Mjoll stared at the bird unhappily, was this something this kid had to deal with all the time?
