Stuffing the cards in her purse, Callie set up a little sign saying she was away and walked away, still biting the inside of her cheek. She had put a lot of effort into her stand and appearance, but was it enough? Tough and outspoken as the golem was, even she could be a victim of doubt - especially when it came to boogeymen.
As she meandered past several stands, she could help but notice one that was, well, a little lackluster than most. "HAIL!" she greeted the demon with a tip of her pumpkin helmet, all evidence of her inner turmoil washing away as she, yet again, thrusted herself into someone else's business. "Any activity over here? Your stand could use some color."

He'd just been getting ready to go wander around the festival and bug a few people, and then the booths were on fire. Ren smacked at the flames, but with little effect. He was going to have to figure out some effective way to extinguish his booth.

She thought really quickly, and spit on the creeping flames; they went out quickly, leaving a little curl of smoke in it's wake that also soon disappeared. Sophie stopped, started at it, and threw her arms in the air.
"WOOO SAVED THE TABLE!"

May saw the fire come from a mile away. Truthfully, she didn't mind fire so much. She knew a few decent flame demons. Pyre was ... a bad seed in general- it had nothing to do with her fire. In fact in some cases she supported fire- forests often needed fires to create ash to replenish nutrients after all!
Now what she didn't like was her booth on fire. She'd worked HARD on those pamphlets. Do you know how hard it was to dig up dirt on Hellma? REALLY HARD.
She immediately let go of Tex's hand and ran over to her booth, shoving all of the merchandise into boxes. Luckily none of it was damaged, just a poster singed a little bit. No big deal. She sighed with relief.
Oh no! Tex! May looked around, searching for her reaper companion. s**t she shouldn'tve just run off like that! Ohhhh she was such a terrible ... friend! Friend! Yes they were friends. The hand holding was just a friend thing, right?
Augh she had to go find him.

" I TOLD YOU ITS A PART IM PLAYING!" Tica whispered urgently to Vivi and playfully patted at her shoulder. She only wished she could get away with doing that to her face. HARDER. "the part of a plain ghoul with no status in the land trying to make something of herself, don't make me break character." she continued and pulled at the slivers in her hair. However after a time of watching people run about, a bit panicked. "Is something happening?" she asked her BESTEST BEST FRIEND IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. And didn't see the flames that began to build up on her table. not till it reached her resumes/ headshots. "MY HEADSHOTS!" the demoness screamed in terror. No no no, they were far too expensive to redo all over again, it was done last week for Jack's sake. There had to be a away to put them out. Without giving it much thought, she reached for all of Vivi's business cards and tried to suffocate the fire with them. -ok, she did give it ALOT of thought, but it stll didn't work much, the flames only greedily lapped them up before continuing on.

Cricket looked at the fire, then at her booth, then at the fire, then at her booth.
"Oh no. My booth is on fire." she said flatly and without any actual concern. Her booth was in fire - maybe now she could go do something funner. She even made a weak attempt to swat it out before she got up to just stand back and watch everything she'd set up burn.

She flung a hand over her shoulder, balled fist and thump out pointing to Arel. "Isn't it glorious?" A phoenix being a Pyromaniac? NAH

Tex had seriously been getting his wallet out of his back pocket to grab a protection charm or two to "donate to the cause" (of trolling Westhor and teasing May) when the fire broke out. "Jackdammit!" he cursed, racing off to try and save his own booth.
He LIKED his music compositions! Thankfully there was only a tiny bit of fire on his own booth, which he smacked out with his hat, only to curse as he saw his hat had gotten burnt. "Jackin'..." He took a deep breath and let it out before turning to go find May. She might need his help, he figured.

Matt sighed. This was all shaping up to be A LOT of work. He slowly shuffled his way back to his booth, undeterred by the panic surrounding him. Reaching his table, he really only wanted to save one thing; his cards and pamphlets he'd received. However, carrying all that would become more work. So it looked like he'd have to save the booth after all.
He stared at the small flame dancing on his table cloth.
He licked his finger.
And pressed it down.
Flame dead. Sloth Wins.

Vel gave d**k a look as well before pushing him away.
"You are my favorite d**k, but even that only goes so far," she said with a sigh.
Shehk was not the only one who felt that way during this trance.
Turning towards the booth, she suddenly went rigid as FIRE was everywhere.
"OH JACK NO! BYYYYYYYYYRNE!" she cried out before turning towards her own booth to try and kick sand and dirt over the flames. Makeiiitstooooooop.

After mingling amongst her fellow graduates for at least fifteen minutes, Oinqa decided she had to be the most bored monster in the school. Planning for her future was nice and all, and the summer internship offers she had amassed seemed interesting (sock factory! public pool cleaner! hair washer!) but right now all she wanted to do was breakdance or something. She spotted a crowd of... well, she wouldn't exactly call them friends, but Westhor was there and he was pretty cool, and just as she was about to head over there to see what all the fuss was about, she began to smell smoke.
The ghoul didn't move at first, she just stared at her burning banners and business cards and resumes and brought her webbed fingers up to her open mouth.
