Yeah, me too. Especially for the more obscure ones (such as Marimo Ragawa's Baby & Me) I bought most of them from a store on Amazon. Well, there's a couple of stores in Brisbane and they sell manga and anime online too...but Yu Gi Oh! has been really hard to track down. cat_gonk I wish I bought it when it first came out, since I never knew it would be this hard to find. It's weird, since it's so popular. Or maybe that's why they're sold out. Lol. ^.^; I watched all the episodes only once, when it aired on TV. I guess I might just have to watch them online or something when I go to the library. But that's really not what I want to do. I looked in the Anime Corner Store but they only had a few volumes. And it was region 1 so that's not too useful to me, but I was glad to see that they had some at least. It's a pretty cool site BTW. cat_biggrin

Your welcome, only thing is though about that site is its formatted for North American televisions, and I don't think they would work to well in Australia. I had that a couple of times with some tapes my folks brought over from the UK.

Ohh, that. I've heard I can get round that by purchasing a multi-regional DVD player. I'm not sure how much they cost but I am looking into it. Then I can watch DVDs from anywhere in the world. I think that's how it works, anyway. Other than that, I need to look for Region 4 DVDs, which can limit my search a bit more. -_-; Oh well. On a bright note, I took my cats for a walk today. cat_blaugh And even though I am tired I got a few rp posts done.

My brother was always more of the anime person. I'm not really a huge anime person, just this conversation made me remember the show and how much I loved it as a kid so I wanted to revisit it. And yeah, I forgot about that so the yu-gi-oh torrents probably wouldn't work out too well for you. But the torrent files I got say they're a high quality DVD rip so you should be able to find a complete box set somewhere. Also if that doesn't work you might look for it on this website my brother showed me the other day, http://www.cokeandpopcorn.ch/tvsection.php It lets you watching tv shows for free online (Like Game of Thrones! heart ) but I don't know if it goes far enough back for original yugioh. Edit: Lol, that sounds like an interesting experience... taking cats for a walk.

Yeah, it's a great anime! The characters are so colourful and the card game is a lot of fun. I liked cheering on my favourite characters. Lol. Thanks for the link, I'll have a look at that too. Oh, btw, I finally checked back in the Hidden Hideout subforum, sorry it took me so long. I actually forgot about it for a minute there and then I was like...hey, how come Springfog Town still isn't open? And I remembered there were things I still had to do. Lol. I'm hoping I can find it somewhere in Brisbane or Sydney. I haven't tried looking everywhere yet, so I won't give up. cat_smile Well, it's more like the cat takes you for a walk. I had to take one cat out at a time, since trying to walk two cats at once is very difficult when each cat would like to go a different direction. The first thing they do is walk all around and sniff everything, then they find bits of grass and eat them for a while, then they roll all around on the ground and then it's back to exploring some more! KiKi stopped and watched one of our neighbours next door. She's funny. She will walk down the street like a dog but if she sees someone or something she doesn't know, she gets spooked and turns tail to run back home (up our hill). She also walked around some people's cars that were parked out the front of our house and not only did she sniff them, she hopped up on the ute's bonnet. I quickly got her down before she could leave kitty paw prints though. Dharma on the other hand, will not walk anywhere she doesn't want to go. If you try to make her come with you or get her to go anywhere, she flops on her side and becomes like a sack of potatoes that rolls it's eyes at you. Lol.

Lol yeah, I did the same thing watching it on Saturday mornings as a child. No worries, I figured you was busy with other stuff and would get back to replying when you got the chance. LOL, that sounds hilarious. Theres a neighbor who lives down the street from me, his dog doesn't like to leave the house so when the owner takes him for a walk he puts the dog in a little satchel and takes it down the road. Then he puts the dog down and walks it back home.

I used to watch it before school started, in the mornings. ^_^
Yup, that's about right. But I still felt bad for forgetting. Heh...
It is! It's fun taking them out on their wee harnesses and colourful leashes. We have a neon pink one with fake rhinestones for KiKi and a royal purple one for Dharma. Dharma hates wearing hers and she tries to sneak out the door before you can put it on. Lol.
The best reactions though, are the neighbours or people driving past. I was standing at the bottom of the hill near the street that runs by our house and this man drove past in a ute. He was looking at KiKi on her leash and he did a double-take and was just staring as he went past. cat_xd
Aww, like those little doggie handbags? Ahaha. That reminds me of Legally Blonde.

If I were to answer that question: 1. Realize I can't join every RP and set a limit for myself. I would like to, especially since not every RP has female characters that can or want to independently take care of they new child(ren) by themselves and I happen to primarily RP males. 2. Realize I can't give every RP I join attention all the time. So many hours in the day, so much time you can be here without life calling for you or just your hobbies. There's also writer's block to deal with. Members will understand that you can't be online right now. It happens to everyone eventually. Just don't abandon an RP without warning if you can help it is all. 3. I don't join many group RPs, these require a lot more time than 1x1's for me because if I want to know what's going on, I usually have to read what everyone is doing before making my next post. My max is usually 3 for Multi and 4 for 1x1s. Though this isn't' a problem that only does one or the other. 4. I let myself get quoted. It helps with knowing for when a particular 1x1 needs my attention at the moment. I know some don't like it (Using the GRID can help you know there), but that's just me. 5. I keep a document I use for "in-progress" posts. Those being posts just being those I've seen, know I won't be able to finish right now so I just save them to this document to finish the post at the next possible time I can get online. This document also has a list of Quote: tags I sometimes use. I hope that was able to help you any. Oh, and since I don't recall you, welcome to the guild.

*applauds Shade's answer* Hehe. ^w^
Pretty much what he said.
What I use as a general rule is: if you don't have time for it, don't join it.
Set a limit you know you can stick to comfortably. For me, it's about one or two slow-to -medium paced role plays.
Trying to post replies when you're over-stretched means crappy posts and stressed out role players. And that's no fun. XP So setting a limit is good!
Copy-paste people's replies then type your own up in a Word document (or similar), while offline, then log on and post a whole stack of replies at once. Works for me.
I'm sure there's more I can write but I am currently at work on morning tea break and have to get back to work. Lol.

Couldn't have said it much better than Shade just said. You just gotta know your limits and not overburden yourself with too many RPs. And truthfully I look at SD's huge numbers of RPs and wonder how the hell he keeps them and all the characters straight. In group RPs, it also helps if your fellow RPers quote you from time to time to let you know your character is being interacted with.

If we're on the discussion of how people keep up with role plays, honestly, I have a lot too and most of the time I feel I have to drop a good portion of them. So really, it's okay to drop them if you don't find anymore interest in a story, cannot get in contact with any of the group members for the role play, and maybe are lost in the story so much that it would take a great deal of time to catch up on things.

For me... I just look for something I know will be interesting, or if I don't find one, I make one. We like people who pop in new rp ideas for us to check out. It helps others who are between rps and need something to distract them, and it gives you an rp you know you'll like.
Find what interests you, and if you can't find it, put it out there. Other's will take note and at least one or two people will be interested as well. When you're interested in it, you're much more likely to stick to it and see it to the end.
Quotes are nice help, as they give you a notification when someone quotes you. That's a great way to get people to look at you're stuff or someone to get your attention.
