I think I know what's in it!
It's a: Lugia
Why I think it is: Because Lugia are awesome 8D And it would work with Shizuo plots.
I would name it: Daichi
Because: It means great wisdom. I chose it because he shall have a calm, sage like attitude, preferring to give advice then directly interfering.
Which character of mine I would give it to, how and why: Shizuo Heiwajima, trainer, journal link. I would give Shizuo Daichi because it would greatly help him in both trying to control his temper and also help him learn to control a future pokemon I will get for him.

Shizuo will have to take a trip to Johto, visiting his brother who is making a movie in the region. While there he will catch the attention of the Lugia because of his unstable temper and strength. For the week he is there he would be watched carefully nd on the night before Shizuo left for home Daichi would steal him away for a few challenges to prove he is worthy of help. After many tests Daiki would chose to help him after one last test, a pokemon battle. Even though Shizuo looses the battle, he shows enough promise that Daiki lets his self become one of Shizuo's team. (Plans on doing a loooooooong solo or two)

The Lugia had been sold to a merchant by Team Rocket when it escaped, not finding any of the trainers that the merchant tried to sell it too worthy.

I think I know what's in it!
It's a: Jirachi
Why I think it is: Christmas time is a time for wishing and hope, and granting wishes is what Jirachi do best! (well, save for the clones, who only teleport XD plus, this fits a part of Luxury that no body knows about~)
I would name it: Muna
Because: It means 'desires, wishes' in Arabic, plus when I think of wish I think of stars, the moon... Muna, moon, it fits beautifully!
Which character of mine I would give it to, how and why: Luxury Kennett, Grunt, Journal. Not many know this about Luxury, but she's a dreamer. As a child, she'd make up stories about her life, pretend she was really a princess and that her dad would come get her one day, that she had been kidnapped and her mom really wasn't her mom, that everything about her life was just one big dream... But she always knew better. She always knew her fantasies were nothing more, that she would never wake up, that she was just dealt some pretty rotten cards. Still, those dreams kept her going, allowed her to hold on to some hope that one day things would get better.

Of course, 'better' wasn't going to be just handed to her, so she set out to make something of herself on her own. Eventually she found herself as a grunt at Team Rocket, getting stronger and better at her job every day. She trained hard, kept straight, did her best to be her best. One day she was running errands for the labs, and caught a glimpse of a certain pokemon... She'd seen Legendaries before, had quite a horrible encounter with them, but this one was not like the others she had seen. This one looked peaceful... until it looked at her. Their eyes had locked, and Luxury had froze. It's little white hand reached out, and the grunt had issues keeping her own hand by her side. Sometime about the pokemon's eyes... they mirrored her own.

Some time later down the line, the young grunt made her dreams come true. She stood before her teammates, her friends, her partner, proudly wearing the uniform of an Agent...

...And shortly after that, she was assigned the same pokemon she had locked eyes with in the labs some ago, and they quickly became inseparable. As it turned out, that pokemon, that Jirachi, had hopes and dreams to become something more as well. It shared in Luxury's desire of a better life, of adventure, of acceptance, of friendship, of success and fulfillment. They shared a bond that some are never lucky enough to know.

Luxury named the pokemon of wishes 'Muna', because she shot for the moon and landed on a star~

I think I know what's in it!
It's a: mew
Why I think it is: Team rocket is full of cloned pokemon, and at first, only mew was strong enough to be cloned. While perfecting the process, they made several mews, though they are not as powerful as the original. Much effort was put into the modified mewtwo, meant to be a stronger version of mew, so those that were closer in looks have had less training and are less sought after by agents.
((Or really because Mew is my favorite legendary ever. I’m old school, all the way.))
I would name it: Ichigo
Because: mews are pink and this particular mew has a strong love for strawberries. This mew doesn’t respond to any other name, so perhaps it picked the name itself.
Which character of mine I would give it to, how and why: Panther Agent journal

“Hey get back here.” The mew ignored the agents call and flew off down the hall finding the door to the kitchen floating over the cook and spotting the very thing it had been looking for. A bowl full of fruit meant for the general mass of agents, grunts and Trainees that flocked HQ, the mew made a dive into the bowl with a little chirp of excitement.

“Excuse me, new pokemon,” the agent squeezed by the cook who shot him a small glare before resuming his duties.

“That’s human food you know.” the mew eyed him keeping it’s prize, a strawberry that rivaled the size of its head. It dodged the red beam of the master ball and flew over the agent, tail flicking the hat of his head before escaping into the mess hall.

“When they said there was a small problem, they didn’t mention that it didn’t listen to a word it was told.” Agent Panther huffed and after grabbing his hat, worked himself into the mess hall, which was slightly crowded for lunch. Trainees whispered in one corner, and one older more experienced agent gave Panther that knowing look.

When he had been called down to the labs, he wasn’t expecting the conversation that awaited him. With the latest Galactic fight, one where there were more legendaries then was reasonable to deal with, one of the higher ups decided that having more stronger pokemon among the agents was a good idea. Being a pilot, Panther was sent on many field missions and would be on many more, weather it was a simple as running supplies, or as complex as infiltrating Team galactic, finding out their plans and saving the known universe. On some occasions it was just him and maybe one other person test running the latest from the mechanics, and in the rare chance that something broke down, or more likely, he was shot down, his job was to deal with the situation. His pokemon were by no means weak, however, they were still nothing compared to a legendary. But even the strongest legendaries started from somewhere, and if the pokemon was to be useful on future missions it was time for him to start training it for the field.

This little pink fetus looking thing was not exactly what he has imagined when he was told he would be receiving a legendary. When they said powerful Psychic, his mind immediately went to the Mew two, powerful, and terrifying, the signature pokemon of the team rocket’s labs, not this. A legendary was a legendary… but problems arose the moment he let it out of it’s ball, it took off opening his door with it’s powers. What they didn’t mention was that this particular pokemon has a mind of it’s own, and mind meant had an un ending love of fruit and other sweets. It was Panther’s job to teach it tactics good for both stealing and getting rid of the enemy, if he could get it to sit still long enough.

“It already has the stealing part down.” he muttered as he looked under the closest tables after noticing the pink pokemon was not in the air.

“Have you seen a mew floating by?” he asked a random grunt who shook her head.

The agent sighed and unleashed his Gengar. “Shade, there is a mew around here. I need to find it. Can you take a look around?”

The Gengar nodded and floated to the left.

Panther searched the other side of the cafeteria, only to be alerted by a trainee letting out a small yelp as an apple floated out of his hand.

“Got you.” the red beam took the form of a flailing mew briefly before disappearing inside the master ball and the apple dropped onto the table.

It seemed he had his worked cut out for him.

((I think it would be amusing force AP to chase around a cute pink cat. Needless to say he does not share my amusement. But he would take care of it anyway, and make use of it, after they get the kinks worked out of their relationship. Mew also fits well into AP's fighting style.))

I think I know what's in it!
It's a: Kyogre
Why I think it is: There are no other Kyogres in known existence on the owners list (not counting that dark one from hell somewhere...?). It also doesn't hurt that water-type pokemon are my favorite (and the main type of the trainer I have yet to play).

Also, Kyogre doesn't have much of a preset personality from any film as a canon pokemon (at least not through speech), so there isn't any temptation for me to copy an existing canon Kyogre personality; especially since it doesn't talk. In this way, it'll also be easier to keeps its powers in check as a clone and treat it as just another pokemon rather than god-moding it.

If this Kyogre ends up in the hands of the trainer that I intend it to, then it would be good back-up for trainers since the Rockets have so many clone legendaries already, including the Rocket Boss Lucere's Groudon. It would even the odds a little and provide the Rockets with another force worth reckoning with besides Team Galactic. The trainers would stand more of a chance, especially with their new and improved skills after having trained so hard.
I would name it: Leviathan (Levi for short.)
Because: Because the nickname 'Levi' brings to mind Levi jeans, which are navy blue like Kyogre. Seems a fitting name for a creature of the deep; especially because Kyogre is thought to be based on the original Leviathan from Hebrew legends.
Which character of mine I would give it to, how and why: If possible, I would give it to my trainer, Tymiko, because she's a water trainer and the only person of my three characters who would be experienced enough and understanding enough of pokemon (ICly) to own and care for and handle a legendary. Neither of my others would likely even be considered worthy by any legendaries and could never maintain the kind of bond that Tymiko could, being as emotional and passionate about pokemon as she is.

As to how she would get it...this particular Kyogre was bought from Team Rocket to be sold on the black market by some shady dealers. A group of performers from Alto Mare, inspired by the water shows of Daisy, Lily, and Violet from the Cerulean City gym and Dorian from the Coastline Gym, had decided to start up a water show of their own in their city. While they were collecting pokemon to star in their show and teach tricks, a nearby black marketer learned of the group through his information sources and offered to sell them a bunch of rare and valuable pokemon for relatively cheap prices. One of these included a Kyogre - one that didn't need a Red Orb to be controlled.

Well, the group was so incredulous about the idea of a Kyogre that they demanded to see it. The man refused to show them until he had at least received a partial down payment, realizing that it would be difficult to prove that he had such a pokemon in his possession otherwise, clone or not. One of the group, so dazzled by the idea of being the only water show with a Kyogre starring in it, eagerly offered to pay the portion for the pokemon to be shown.

The marketer was brought to the group's stadium and allowed to release the pokemon there. He explained that it was 'young and therefore weaker than one might expect a legendary to be', which was how it had been captured, but that it was in the perfect stage to teach new tricks. The black marketer also said that this was an advantage because the trainers wouldn't have a hard time dealing with such an unruly legendary who could cause floods or tidal waves if upset or unwilling to obey. This talk, of course, was all to cover up the fact that the Kyogre was a Trainer Legendary, and thus one of the less powerful clones created by Team Rocket.

The performers, amazed, gleefully accepted and all pitched in with their money to pay the black marketer in installations for their new star. They promised that a portion of the profits they received from their shows would go to the payment for the Kyogre until they had completely paid it off. They continued training for several months until their show was just about perfected and ready to be advertised to the masses.

Tymiko, a trainer in her travels, had stopped by Alto Mare City, being drawn to water as she was. She decided to stay there a little longer than she had in most other cities, particularly because she loved the Johto Region so much and Alto Mare City was near the border. She wasn't ready to cross over just yet. One day, she discovered the show and, after watching a performance, grew very curious about the obtainment of the legendary Kyogre. The girl asked the group if they were accepting part-time volunteers, and since the performers were so busy with their shows, they were happy to have a free helping hand.

The water trainer worked mostly behind the scenes, cleaning up after the water pokemon and feeding them. Ty was happy just to be around them, and she loved to watch the performers practice and train routines with them. Kyogre seemed to work just as well and hard as the other pokemon, and the trainers treated it like their baby, calling it Leviathan and even going so far as to call it a 'beaut' and referring to it as a 'she' like one would a prized ship.

Tymiko was extra careful around the Kyogre, since she still wasn't comfortable treating a legendary like any other normal pokemon. Leviathan, however, not understanding why this girl who spent so much time around it would be cautious about it, started to playfully prank the water trainer. The Kyogre would bounce balls at the girl when her back was turned, hitting them with such force that Tymiko would fall over - sometimes into the water. Other times, Leviathan (affectionately dubbed 'Levi' for short) would come up behind Ty when she was cleaning the pool and take her for an unexpected ride around the perimeter, propelling her forward with its nose.

Once, Levi even pretended it wouldn't eat until Tymiko stuck her arm with the Remoraid meal into its mouth, and then gently closed its jaws around said arm, not letting the girl go. At first Ty was terrified with all these things, but soon she learned that Levi meant no harm and was only being playful. It did, after all, live the life of a performer, and all the performing pokemon were taught that it was most important to have fun and treat their performances like choreographed, rehearsed playtime.

The performers noted how Levi was growing especially fond of their volunteer, amused as the Kyogre was that Ty was hailing it like some god. This was because the performers had all agreed that they wouldn't raise Levi to know it was anything more special than the star of a show; not a legendary pokemon. They didn't want too much of a prima donna on their hands. Realizing Ty was getting closer to Levi, they told her about their raising it to think it was a normal pokemon, and the trainer suddenly understood why the legendary was so playful and carefree. Levi even had a routine where it used 'Splash' and flopped around like a Magikarp to the delight and humor of the audience. It had never ceased to shock the girl, but now it all made sense.

One night after a show, the black marketer returned to collect his final payment for the month...but with more demands. He had seen how successful the group had grown and was getting increasingly nervous. The fame of the water show group was spreading far and wide and law enforcement was starting to get curious. Private investigators and officers in disguise were coming to see the performance for themselves, and soon they would be snooping around to ask questions about where the group had obtained a Kyogre.

The marketer wanted more money to bribe the people getting hot on their trail, especially because he didn't trust the performers not saying anything about him. He worried that word would get back to to the law enforcement about the black market and Team Rocket, which would have put a lot of people in his line of business out of work, not to mention get him in trouble with the big red 'R'. But the performing group quickly saw where this was going. The more they paid, the more time they would buy, but eventually more and more curious investigators would be snooping around until there would be too many to bribe and naturally there would be some that couldn't be bought. The water show was in trouble.

With a heavy heart, the founder decided to have his troupe go on tour around Johto and Hoenn to avoid drawing all the investigators and officers to one place in Alto Mare. One thing was certain, though - they couldn't bring Leviathan with them. The group was now successful enough that the show could go on without their star, but they had all grown very attached to Levi and no one was sure what to do with the Kyogre.

Finally, one of the troupe suggested that, in order to cover their tracks, they allow Tymiko to care for Levi, since she was already experienced in looking after the Kyogre and knew all the little things Levi liked. This also allowed the group to disassociate themselves from the legendary because Tymiko was not an official part of their troupe, nor was she a performer, and the fact that she was a travelling pokemon trainer made it easier for her to avoid being questioned by local officers and investigators. This way would be safest for all of them.

Ty was shocked at this proposition and offered to pay with what little money she had, but the performers had been grateful to her for her hard work as a volunteer and had grown rich enough with their widespread fame and fortune that money wasn't much of a problem for them now. They just made the girl promise that she would take very good care of Levi and, (half-jokingly) that the girl wouldn't let the Kyogre slack off in practicing its routine. They hoped that one day they might be able to get back together and perform without hindrance, just for fun without profit, and Tymiko expressed that she shared the same wish.

With that, the two parties parted, Ty with a new goal in mind. She aimed to discover just here the Kyogre had originated in the hopes that she could somehow explain to the authorities where Levi had come from and somehow make it legal for the water group from Alto Mare to perform with Levi again.

I think I know what's in it!
It's a: Ho-oH
Why I think it is: As a personal lover of fire types, Ho-oH naturally appeals to my preferences. Also, for some reason Flygon doesn't count as Legendary. *reveres*
I would name it: Axebeak Firefeather
Because: For some reason, the only things that came to mind were the movie 'The Black Cauldron' and the word 'Pheonix', so... There.
Which character of mine I would give it to, how and why: Ru, my Rocket Grunt. She doesn't currently have a journal. (I need to fix that...)

Ru had been sent along with the team to recover some mysterious strand of DNA from a dig site, one of the grunts on the edge meant to repel intruders with her little zubat. Phange sat perched there, on her shoulder, listening out for intruders alongside the other zubat, while Ru's gloved fingers absently stroked his chin. Her uniform folded as she moved to get a look at the thing they were digging up, some big, once-red feather that had been underhoof in an ancient stampede, the mangled appendage solidified in a little mound of limestone. Traces of symptoms from other ancient pokemon and DNA types littered the rock, but it was the broken little feather that caught her eye.

The bat at her shoulder chittered and clicked, taking wing from her shoulder right along others, before the group scurried to the helecopter, a few of the stronger grunts hanging behind to keep the enemy off their tails. They would regroup back at base, later.

Ru sighed, cradling the zubat in her arms when she made her way back to base again, finally. A few days' trek had stood between her and the base after she was left behind at the dig site. The tuckered out bat was wrapped in a sweater, bandages around one wing and one of it's long tails, and the smell of potion was pungent on the sleeping beast. "Hey, Ru..." snarked one of the other grunts, his Aaron walking at his ankles, only one leg slinged up in a wrap, and otherwise looking unharmed. "Took your time gettin' home, didn'cha?" He, and the other rocket grunts in the room, gave their boisterous laughs to the girl, who returned only a quiet glare, pulling the neck of the sweater around her Zubat's ears to try to muffle the sounds so he could sleep.

"Yeah, well, there was plenty to do." She grumbled back at him. He feigned fear or remorse, some useless emotion that he performed poorly. "And what do YOU want, you persistant wretch?" She growled up at him, absently petting the little coccoon of a Zubat at it's head.

"Hey, there's a pot goin' on. That fossil? People're bettin' on what it is. Money goes into the pot, when it's revived, it all goes to the winner... Pay for the first clone. All ya gotta do's guess it right." He put in front of her his black baseball cap, the red R facing him below the bill where he held the apparel. "You in? Hunner'd bucks."

Ru stared at his hat for a looong, stretched moment. She had an idea, but nothing solid. From pictures she'd seen as a child, her own opinions had been drawn. "We're talkin' about that feather thing, right?" He snickered, exclaiming his surety that it was just some Pigeot. She tilted her brow and shrugged, gently reaching into her back pocket to procure most of her prize from being left behind, if not all, dropping several wrinkled, mangled, still-legible bills in his hat. "I'm going to put my money on a Ho-oh..." She muttered, leaning back in the chair and setting to coddling the bat, ignoring the man's slack-jawed stare at here.

"What in the HELL makes you say that?" He barked, standing up straight. He'd recieve nothing more than a shrug, though, and sighed, writing in her choice on the pad, and assuring her that she was about to be losing 100 bucks on this bet.

About a week later, the slack-jawed appearance returned. It wasn't alone, this time, though, as the multitude of grunts and other Rocketeers stood in front of the cloning machine, the purple pokeball finding Ru's palm with a soft smile on her face. Noone had seen more than the screen, other than the scientists, but the fresh, ember-colored feathers that floated out of the cloning chamber when the bird was removed said plenty. Ru's victory lap consisted merely of walking out, giving a snarky wave over at her coworkers as she headed off to go meet her new companion.

I think I know what's in it!
It's a: Kyogre!
Why I think it is: Because it's DESTI- *shot shot shot*

In all seriousness, I would choose Kyogre because I feel that it would suit Alba. Rouge would never be able to put such a special and noticeable Pokemon to use without ruining Rouge's low profile. Giving any such Pokemon to Rouge would be a waste. Alba, on the other hand, would appreciate the responsibility and obligations that come with it. Between Al and Rouge, Al has the more likely chance of acquiring and keeping the Pokemon.

I would name it: Big Blue
Because: Alba is just THAT unoriginal. The first words out of his mouth would probably be along the lines, "That... is a big fish. A big... blue... fish." He would probably then proceed to call it nicknames such as "Smiley," "Fish," or "You Big Tuna" for the majority of the time.

Which character of mine I would give it to, how and why: Grunt Alba Ross, for when he becomes Agent Alba Ross, or is otherwise qualified and able to receive such a Pokemon.

Alba is a fairly bare bones kind of guy. Big and flashy really doesn't suit him, nor does he see much need for it. He already has enough child-minded Pokemon in his possession, no matter how much they grow and evolve, so he doesn't need to add to the playground he seems to be running half the time (that is, when the playground isn't running him). What Al really needs is a Pokemon--a companion--that would compliment his personality: old, used, and world weary.

Alba would first meet the future "Smiley" while doing janitor work down in the labs, during his year as a Trainee. Because of his lower rank and, ahem, higher age, a lot of the younger Team Rocket members looked down on or resented him during that time. Many still likely do. In any case, Alba would be sent down to the labs from time to time to clean toilets, mop floors, take out the trash, or perform other odd jobs.

During one such trip, he would pass an observation room containing a small pool, and in that pool would be an early clone of the then recently captured Kyogre. Still a relative newbie to Pokemon knowledge, Alba would be surprised by the "big fish," and would be unaware that he was actually looking at a smaller, runt-sized version. Perhaps the too-small pool would create the illusion of the Pokemon being larger. The other Rockets around him would laugh at his ignorance. They would tease that if he kept scrubbing the toilets, maybe someday he would get a "worthless reject like that" for a "Christmas bonus."

Alba would bite his tongue; he wouldn't say anything back. But he would notice how sad that blue fish of a Pokemon looked in that cramped room. He would think of how it hurt to imagine Spook, his Chingling, or Twitch, his Pidgey, in such poor conditions. Most importantly of all, the encounter would stay with him. Alba would see the Kyogre a few more times as a Trainee, but always in passing, and it was always so sad. He would think of it on occasion as a Grunt, but would accept that he would probably never see it again or know what eventually happened to it. For all he knew, it had since been killed and converted to glue for use around the base (he would abstain from using said glue products for about a week after coming to that realization).

Then he would become an Agent ((or be otherwise qualified and approved to ICly get a legendary)). Through circumstances yet to be determined, Alba would come into possession of the sorry little runt of a legendary. Maybe the labs were done observing and testing it in confinement. Maybe it failed to fetch a price on the black market, and is worth too much to simply turn to glue. Whatever the situation, Alba would soon realize he had the same Kyogre from all that time ago, and he would find that he could relate to it on a level he never could with his other Pokemon. They would be each others' therapy. One trip to a training pool at the end of a long day, and Alba would feel that figurative "weight of the world" lessen just that little bit more from his shoulders. All it would take is one smile from that big fish. That big, silly, wonderful fish.

:: "Damn it, Blue." Alba said it with a laugh, but the humorless smile and partial use of the Pokemon's real name proved the sincerity of what the man said next. "Who gave you permission... to make me want to be worth something again?" ::
