Christof blinked. The boo just... popped. Like a balloon. Well. That... was a lot easier than Miss Freya was making it look.
Tensing, he glanced about to see how the others were faring- hopefully they'd all tend to the business at hand and they could get out of here before the next attack came!

Herryk grunted to himself, glancing away from Faboo only to see Freya finally beat the ever-loving s**t out of her boo. He sighed with relief. Good. Now he could leave this terrible room and the terrible boos and hopefully get some rest.
Herryk needed some rest.
Making his way to the door, Herryk braced himself on the frame as he waited for Freya to come to his side. His group had been victorious once more.

"Heh. Heh heh. You gotta use protection charms when you do that, dudes," one of the statues said, apparently looking at Barth (though it was hard to say, given the lack of actual faces). "Now get goin', I don't have all day!"

Arm still prickling with left over Fear, the hunchback sighed with relief at the sight of his friends all in one piece and victorious. Yes! Good good good now go go go! He hurried towards the shifting statues, glancing back to motion them forward. They could lick their wounds later, they were almost through this wretched place! He hobbled over to Barth and Calder, making sure they both were ok at least. "Done-well," he signed, "Let's-go."

Once the Fireboo vanished from her grasp, she immediately looked to each member of the team, her face turning pink with embarrassment.
Christof had been right. He'd been right, all along. She shouldn't have come with them, she was just a liability. A weakling, compared to them. She was dragging them down.
Silently, she walked to the door, slid her head underneath Herryk's arm, and wrapped both of her arms around his chest to help support him as they walked out the door. She didn't have a single thing to say. To anyone.
They should have just let her die.

Herryk exhaled shakily, offering Freya a wibbly little smile as she wrapped her arms around him and helped him out the door. It had been a close call for her -- and pretty close for him too -- but they'd made it through the gearwall and they'd beat the crap out of some boos.
Thinking about the things they'd accomplished didn't really stop the pain, though.
With Freya's help, Herryk hobbled through the door.

Calder moved over to Barth and Christof, checking them both out. They seemed to be fine. He worried about the first years who, looking haggard and defeated, started and left the room. "We should check on those two. First field trip is hard on them." He frowned as the couple left and looked to the both of them. "Come on before more of those things show up."
He looked at Barth. "If you're tired, just tell me." Calder offered, hoping to pick up on the cradling from where he left off.
Calder is exiting.

Protection charms? He hoped not. They were kidding, weren't they? This wasn't some sort of...Barth picked off a clump of gold glitter, and only succeeded in getting it stuck to his claws.
"Are...well, now I'm sort of- you'll get glitter all over you," Barth warned, tagging along after Calder.

Christof frowned as Barth was suddenly tugged away by Calder, sagging just a bit. With a sigh, he could only limp after, shaking his left hand to try to get the tingling to fade.
His emotions were churning, thoughts... frustrating. Odd man out. Calder seemed to have the Sloth under control, which left him with... well, there was tending to the first years, but they were fairly wrapped up in each other as well.
He wished Mistress had been there, but then remembered she was tending to her dragon.
He hoped Master Malodore wasn't sharing similar sentiments.

This time, it is an unusual scent that beckons you onward - something sugary and warm and just slightly spicy. With a background of... brimstone? Hm. Still, sugar and crisp seems the order of the day. As you approach the door from which the sweet aroma emanates, you realize you can also hear a faint and tinny music.
As before, scent and music lead you into a hallway. This one slants downward even more sharply, its floor polished. It kind of resembles a giant slide, actually. At the bottom is yet another door...
You may depart the Hub at any time. As before, it seems the next room proper will only open after all group members have arrived.

As soon as Freya's feet touched the floor, she had to pause, and try to catch her balance. Heels and slippery sloped hallways did not mix. In fact, she would probably have to tiptoe every step of the way down, or else slide on her oily bloomers.
Come to think of it.. that might not be so bad after all.
Either way, her grip on Herryk's hand tightened as she tried to not fall.
"Yeh were right about these shoes.."

Herryk entered the room and gazed around warily, tightening his hand around Freya's as she slipped down the pathway. He had to chuckle softly at her muttered comment.
"Herryk has Freya," he said, a smile in his voice. "If Freya falls, Herryk will catch her."

Barth had, predictably, taken his time. And so Christof had taken it upon himself to throw the demon over his hunch to try to hobble-hurry things along.
He did not look excited for cookies as he glanced around the room as they landed at the base of the slippery hallway, and he shoved his Master off of his back and righted him into a proper standing position.

Barth stood, not entirely steady on his feet, at the bottom of the hallway where Christof had shoved and righted him. Their group was an oily, mucky, glittery mess.
He checked himself, and discovered a protection charm had gotten stuck to his pants.
"Bit of a downward slope, there," He said, unpeeling the charm.
