That didn't get him too far. Was there something wrong with his boat? Shun glanced down towards the pedals, trying to figure out why he was going so jacking slow.

Oh Jack. The ghoul hadn't meant to make Hel laugh. Ugh. The whole boat comment really WAS an accident.... Oh well.
With a little 'put put put', Riyo's boat was off... To a rocky start. The feline had ridden many places... But she had never actually DRIVEN anything, which made this extremely complicated.
Oh... Oh s**t!
With a loud bump, the ghoul had managed to run into and bypass Shun. Was she gonna apologize? Hell no, that wasn't her fault. "Watch out, I'm not good at steering this thing!" But a warning was fine.

On any other occasion Mitsu probably would have thought the puns rather clever and might have giggled but in truth she wasn't in the mood. While Shun had given her comfort the lycan still felt a little down. So instead Mitsu stood back silently as everyone took off awaiting her turn to have a try. It was a little nerve wracking to see Shun get run into but at least he only ended up back at the beginning much like Hel.
Nervous, Mitsu climbed into her boat and fiddled around trying to figure out how it actually worked. This did this, or...no no it seemed to do this. Maybe if she. And she was off...and immediately went off to the side and into a whirlpool. If her sad face could have been seen as she slowly circled around it probably would have been comical.

It took a moment for Mitsu to orient herself and figure out the controls. She had never tried to steer a thing in her life so this was a little different. At least she didn't have to intimidate it to do what she wanted.
Once she seemed to have things figure out Mitsu was back on track and at least made a little progress onto the watery course.

The ghoul had been staring ahead again, at the end, when Mot’s boat bumped hers. “ Ack!” Hel was jerked forward, and rather quickly she was pushed off the narrow, safe path into an awaiting whirlpool. She couldn’t say she was mad….but she did look over her shoulder as she gripped the edges of her boat tightly, staring at Mot with a flat look as she went down. “ You sunk my battle ship, friend.” Eventually the reaper would find herself back at the starting positing, and after watching her other teammates go forth and sink as well, it was her turn to venture forth once more…and right into poor Mitsu. “ Ack! I’m sorry, friend!” The reaper cried out as she pushed the lycan off of the safe path. HP: 21 Spot: 8

While he was busy trying to figure out how to go faster, he heard Riyo call out from behind. What? Just as he turned around to see what was going on, he was knocked clear off the track and into the water. He didn't surface right away but the whirlpools eventually pushed him back to the start.
He didn't look very amused.
Coughing lightly, he grimaced as he was drenched once more. Shun wasn't the only one to end up getting knocked overboard as well it seemed.
"Jack damn these things," he grumbled before steering his thing back to the track to try again. His boat still would barely move.
"Kuso... we don't have all day."

Mitsu had just gotten underway and had a basic understanding of her steering when suddenly...  " ACK!" Mitsu panicked as she clutched the wheel being forced off the path and into the whirlpools that took her back to the beginning. Ah the beginning. She was destined to be here. With a sigh she readied to try again but it seemed she didn't quite have her steering under control and managed to bump into Shun. " Ah! I'm sorry I'm sorry!" HP: 28

Her stretch before this one had been great, not it seemed like she was just puttering along. Hmm. Hel glanced back at Mitsu and Shun, secretly hoping none of them would come bump her again.

Shun was knocked off the course again.
The reaper decided that he hated this room. Possibly more than their last one. Grumbling under his breath, he kicked the pedals of his boat, trying to get it to work right. Damn thing was going way too slow. It seemed to work a little.

Well... This was turning out... Rather pleasant, actually!
Hah! Nobody was gonna knock her around this time! If anything, she would be saving THEM.
Not that she meant to knock Mot into the whirlpools... But she certainly wasn't sorry for it.
