~*~ Rosa Harvey~*~
Another peaceful day day had passed as the night quickly returned. Rosa was walking outside the castle for some fresh air after being cooped up inside for so long. Her journey's searching for certain friends had slowed down, the few years searching for them since she arived here had always turned up nothing and now most had given up, she could not find anyone to pilot the Enterprise anymore. But it certanly didn't leave her mind. Somewhere one of those friends were out there, it was just a matter of getting to the right locations at the right time.
Then, most importantly, there was Ceodore and Hanako, her two children missing who were also listed in the search, one of the top two, of course. But even so, after so long even the knights would stop searching. Just, not Rosa.
For now, though there was little she could do in the darkness but walk and try to ease her mind of the worry. It was a nice night for a long quiet walk......

Rosa stood at the balcony, watching as the airships came and go. Each one serving a purpose as it left and returned. The search was still on-going, after so long, one might of given up long ago. "My Queen, I am sorry. There has not been a sign of Prince Ceodore..Our men have searched everyday, we have gone through most of this planet's lands and have not recovered any sign of him....I hate to be the one to say this, but we should call the search. " To say such a thing to Queen Rosa was terrible, he couldn't even look her in the eye as he said it. "It's been nearly three years...Our men have done so much to find him, men have been lost, our airships destroyed...We can't spare anymore..."
"....Prepare another airship...Please inform I will be boarding, The search will continue.. " It was as if she ignored everything they had just said, Rosa was not about to give up on her son. No matter what....
That said, the Queen turned away to board the nearest available airship.

Caius Wolve Holding one of the virtuous knights of Baron up by the throat, Caius's grip on the man tightened, and a dark energy could be seen flowing from the man into the Dark Knight, Caius--his own life energy, fueling Caius. "Demon? Is that what you called me? You are not incorrect." He said, his helmet muffling his voice slightly as he talked. "I am an abomination. The product of a demon's unholy union with a human. Our kind should not intermingle, otherwise... good men like you must die for my ambitions." He broke the knight's neck, dropping the corpse to the floor. "My existence is a sin. I should never have been created. But so long as I exist, I will continue to seek power... starting with this worthless kingdom my mother considers home." Several more knights rushed to the scene. It took a single flick of his arm, sending several dark orbs at the knights. Each one, upon contact, caused the knights to experience their worst, most torturous nightmares continuously, until the shock or misery eventually killed them. The Dark Knight walked past them, holding his massive blade, Cataclysm, in one hand as he walked. "I will kill your worthless king, and show the woman from whom I was born that there is no chance for reconciliation." He slashed his blade, cutting through the knights' armor with ease, sending another legion to their death. "With this action... I wage war on all humankind. I will make them understand that demons are to be feared. Our kind do not belong together. Human, Serenitian, Reaper... they will all become my enemy."(( OOC: It feels like it's been so long since I've done anything FFIV-related. It didn't take but seconds for the two nearest to the apparent threat, to show from another direction. They wanted to approach with caution, and being unnoticed would be better for them if this threat was really extreme. Rydia and her friend, Porom glanced at one another as they listened to the slaughter, a terrible thing to hear knowing they couldn't save them in time. Though there maybe a chance, a slim one."Now, Porom. " Rydia whispered, as she too readied her own spell. Porom was already beginning to silently cast, as the unknown attacker would suddenly begin to feel himself surrounded by a strange magic, one that stopped his movements, Porom's Hold ability would send him for a few moments of paralysis, while Rydia strengthened that with a sort of fail safe, if Porom's failed to keep him steady by casting a much more powerful version of Ice magic to freeze him in place. His armor was a obvious give-away that who ever this was, wasn't weak. Rydia was normally quite intelligent, though through all that armor and dark aura the one under it was emitting, she really didn't think of who he could be. She got it was a demon, by his words, but there were a LOT of demons in this world.

Caius Wolve The clanking of steel boots against the floor stopped, as the Dark Knight came to a stop. "..." He turned his head to look over his shoulder. "Do you think petty magic tricks will work on me?" He turned to face the two, his grip on his Cataclysm blade loosening slightly. As the ice magic seemed to freeze him, only a moment later the ice encasing him would shatter, as he flicked his arm to the side. "Wishful thinking, at best. Do you not see the dead knights littering the floor? Though, I know you are cut from a finer cloth. You aren't faceless like these corpses." He took a few steps toward them. "She who consorts with demons... and an interloper." He glanced at Porom. "An extremely pink one, at that." His gaze stayed on her for a few more moments, before shifting to Rydia. "It seems like most of your party members are color coded. Green, pink, white, purple... how uninspired." He chuckled. "Not that I am one to talk..." Considering the serious amounts of black he was wearing. "Tell me, Rydia... is Jin here? Is your lover waiting in the shadows to pull off a last minute rescue? If he showed himself now, he could surely kill me in an instant. How dangerous. He could slaughter most of Avalanche before you could blink. He could sever all your little friends's heads in a matter of moments. And yet still you choose to bring him into your life. Do you not realize demons are not meant to be with humans? We are not the same." His words sounded somewhat more intimidating with the way it sounded coming out of his helmet. "Say he were to lose control--give in to his natural urges as a demon--what then? Where would your trust be, while he slaughters everything you've ever loved? Demons are naturally inclined to seek power. Jin once upon a time even embraced this thirst for power. I wonder what he found in its stead. Love? Hmph. That can only sate the hunger for so long. Even Desmond and Jake have these urges... and Jin has them more than either. It is in a demon's nature. I choose to embrace it. I will not shy away from my identity." He said. For someone who slaughtered several knights in a path to ascend the throne, he was clearly very intelligent and knew how to choose his words. "You will only suffer in the long run with this arrangement. You should escape this commitment while you are still able."(( OOC: ))

Rydia didn't seem to surprised in his escape of their combined magic to hold him. She had her doubts in the beginning, which didn't stop her. He had killed many innocent, good men, and was threatening to kill Cecil too? Rydia would take risks, no matter what they were to protect him. That man wasn't just a king to her, but for a while, a fatherly figure. She loved him dearly, and would do all she could to keep him safe. Green eyes narrowed as they met the armored ones gaze. "Spare me the speeches. I've heard similar stories, none of which will ever change my mind, or my heart..You can say what you wish. If Jin was to lose control, I will always be there to help him find his way back. That is the bond between two people who love each other. Be it human or demon, or a Serenitian and demon. There is no shame, and no threat that will stop them from finding companionship or love with each other. " She said calmly. "Don't bother, A future without Jin and my children isn't a future at all. " Pausing a moment, Rydia took a slow step forward, this clearly making Porom nervous. "If you are done, then answer me now. Just what is your identity, who are you? "

Caius Wolve "Jin is a demon. A demon who can kill nearly anything in the blink of an eye. You might not always have the luxury of time when you wish to "help him find his way back."" Caius said seriously. "For one who "loves" him, you don't seem to understand just how dangerous he is. Or perhaps you do, and you just enjoy it. How revolting." He shook his head. "Children... abominations." He said coldly. "The union between a human and a demon is a sin. Your spawns are creatures that shouldn't exist." That would certainly make her happy to hear. As she asked her last question, he paused a moment... then he chuckled. "Are you truly so slow? Haven't you ascertained at least this much? Hmm. Very well." His heavily armored hands slowly came to grasp his helmet, which he slowly removed from his head. Upon removing it, the helmet dissolved into a dark mist, fading away from his hands. He lowered his arms. His hair was a familiar silver, and his eyes were a vibrant, deep blue color. His skin color along with the demonic overlay in his voice would likely be enough to tell Rydia that this wasn't his human form--this was his Devil Trigger. And he was able to sustain it for this long. Almost indefinitely. "My name is Caius Wolve. It's been a while since I've faced you like this... mother."(( OOC: ))

"Why are you telling me this like I didn't know it already? I know who and what he is. And I accept every bit of it, maybe it's time you start by accepting the fact that demons...and humans, can exist together. " Rydia shook her head. "I trust in him with my life. It matters not to me. " Sighing at his next words, she paused for a moment. "You have a strange mind. One day when you fall in love, you will understand the risks one can take gladly, to be with the one your heart belongs to. " And as dark and evil as he may be now, there was always hope. And she believed that fully, wasn't Jin proof enough? "My children are blessings, I couldn't be more proud of them. " She may retract that soon, at least for one of those children. As he began to remove his helmet, she watched the form of it dissolve into a form of dark mist, well, that was odd. But no more odder then the color of his hair, and the vibrant blue of his eyes..Nothing would throw her mind off more then those last few words, or rather, the very last word he spoke. "...Mother? " So, it may not be as surprising normally, considering she knew of her daughters from the future already, the big shock of having children was long over, but this? It didn't make any sense. "...Why would you be so against us, and call yourself..such a thing like an abomination? I don't understand at all. You are saying you shouldn't exist?? " Her head was seriously spinning with confusion right now.
"...What happened to you, to make you feel so strongly against demons and humans being together? And don't lie, this path you are on is the sign enough that something did happen. Or perhaps...Another, stronger source of demons are controlling you? "

Caius Wolve "You certainly are delusional..." Caius said with a sigh. "Why even speak of the matter when you are so against listening to reason? I am only trying to help you." As one could see by the dead knights around him. "Demons don't know love, Rydia. Not truly. Jin is merely fascinated by the idea of you. Same with Jake and Desmond... one day they will lose their infatuation and give in to their basest desires as demons." He chuckled at her next words. "How ironic you should say that..." Considering HE was one of her children. As the conversation continued, and he revealed hiis identity, he paused as she continued to ask him foolish questions. "Because that is what I am. I should not exist, and yet I do, because the bond you two foolishly made. It is a weakness... light is so easily snuffed out. Demons belong in darkness. Even humans are weak to succumb to it... perhaps I should prove it to you." He stabbed his Cataclysm blade into the ground. "I suppose I won't kill you, mother. It would be difficult to see you die." Suddenly, darkness shot out of the knights in the area who were apparently dead, coming to fuse back into Caius. When that happened, the knights stirred slightly. It seemed as though they were... unconscious now, not dead like previously believed. "But I should show you how shallow light can be... and what better way than indoctrinating a sweet little White Mage?" He chuckled, and Rydia would find herself unable to move, as a darkness kept her in place. Caius then... turned his attention to Porom. "You... pinkie." He took a few steps toward her, his eyes cast down to her. "Come with me..." He held out his hand for her to take. "I will show you the true weakness of humans, and the misery that demons sow. If you refuse--run away... I will kill everyone in this kingdom." Clearly he had the power to do so, unless Jin or Desmond WERE to show up. "I am going to make you a puppet to do my bidding. A slave who embraces darkness and shuns the light... does that scare you? It should. And when you are warped from what you once were, I will show you to my mother and your friends. I will show them why demons and humans cannot exist together... so, take my hand."(( OOC: ))

"Then your idea of hope is frightening. " She said, her voice still remained quite calm, despite the situation. "Enough..Will you just stop this nonsense? I don't want to hear your repetitive words. Demon's live, breath the same air, and love. No matter what your false thoughts are, they all learned to love, and they are happier because of it. " Sighing, she almost didn't know what more to say to him. Obviously nothing would ever reach him in his stubborn ways. His mind was set, and it didn't seem like it was going to be so easily changed. "You won't kill me, because in doing so, you would no longer exist. Isn't that right? " Even if he played at his existence as a curse, surly he didn't want to die. Rydia's attention snapped to the fallen knights as the darkness shot out of their bodies. After only seconds, she noticed something strange, did they just move? Though they didn't seem to do anything other then a slight movement, it was enough to see they had life in them.."What did you do to them? " For some strange reason, she felt weary of this.It didn't feel right. "What?? " She attempted to take a step in front of Porom, only to find she was unable to move her feet at all. As she looked down, she could see the darkness surrounding them, which seemed to be holding her in place. "Stop this..Don't you take this out on her! Caius! "
What a dark aura he had, she could feel it heavily and it was quite frightening. Porom found herself taking a step back, her rod held close against her. A tool that was obviously completely useless against him. He held out his hand for her to take, which she showed no interest in taking. Listening further however to his demands, while they didn't sound at all good, in her mind there was only one real option here. Protect Cecil and the kingdom. If she went with him, they would be safe if he kept his word. "..If I go with you, you will spare the King and this kingdom? " She asked softly, the nervousness in her voice was clear, even with how calm she attempted to be. She had it in her mind also, a way to calm her worry was to try and think of the best scenario of this situation. He said he would turn her into something of darkness? But how would that be possible when she possessed no darkness, and no dark spells for him to use against anyone? What would she do? Cast cures on the world? Not a big threat. "Give me your word, you wont do anything to them.." She asked of him only moments before slowly reaching her hand out, to take his.

Caius Wolve "Monsters breathe the same air too. Does that make them the same?" He had a point, most people immediately killed monsters on sight. Clearly they weren't seen the same as humans or demons. "Clearly we are not all the same." At her next words, he chuckled a bit. "No, the world would be better off without my existence. I won't kill you because I love you. You were a kind mother who did her best to raise me to be a good person. What I resulted as was no fault of yours, only mine. I shouldn't exist at all." As she seemed to think he did something to hurt the knights, he shook his head. "I stopped their inevitable deaths. You're welcome." It was him who began the killing process in the first place, but at least he stopped it. Facing Porom now, he disregarded his mother's words. "I'm no liar, if that's what you're asking. I'll leave them be unless I'm given a reason not to." He said certainly. "You have my word, little White Mage." Not that she was that little. She was pretty close to his age. As she took his hand, the two would vanish in a veil of darkness, their presences gone from the Kingdom of Baron.(( OOC: ))
