Coal spun in place at the tag - the dark wisp froze a moment in confusion before darting down and over to dodge to the side of Nell. His own aura flickering some in response to the game.
Bounding up in the air Coal watched Nell dart down and back toward the plant. Coal's aura rippled again, if he could have made sound it would have been a giggle. Lowering in the air Coal slowly made his way toward the bush, moving back and forth as if searching for the brightly colored wisp, despite the shine of the moon on her shimmering colors betraying her position.
Theirn couldn't help grin a little catching her gaze but only allowed his gaze to linger over her a moment before looking back toward the snakeman.
"So it's the sort of thing that happens a lot then," Thiern looks over toward where the spot of dark Wisp darts from spot to spot near the bench, his gaze turns thoughtful a moment. Hearing Vance, he realized he hadn't introduced himself properly, "I'm Theirn by the way."

Nell slipped out the other side of the flowerbed and attempted to finagle her way back Trivii. Thinking the guardians would be 'safe'.
There was a sort of challenging and uneasy truce between feline and canine. As if to say they understood each-other but not this snake-man. Trivii herself recalled shortly after Nell had decided to keep her, she had been sent out to collect medusa scales for a potion.
That had not been a pleasant trip.
Flashing a toothy grin, Trivii opted not to contribute more to the discussion at that moment, instead polishing off her burger.

If Amon had noticed the blood draining from the other’s face – and he quite certainly had as he’d been trained to pick up his opposites’ body language and facial expressions – he did a pretty good job at pretending he hadn’t.
But it did seem of importance to bring the power, and thus lights back on. Not for his own sake, but for the boy’s. “Do let me know should you require additional lighting. I can still go look for that flashlight.”

Vance eyed Trivii for a moment before he tilted his head back toward Theirn. "I would assume so. Though if you just found yours your probably didn't know what you were getting yourself into. They stick around, and they get huge." He jerked his head to the side and indicated where Dio was clinging to Athan. Though really he could have indicated any number of them here. This whole thing felt like some sort of a support group. Like some Soul Suckers Anonymous.
The medusa's head moved back toward the two, giving the impression he was looking back at them. "I didn't mean to interrupt you two. If you want to talk I can go ahead and move back away. You both looked so cozy over here." Who he was looking at exactly was anyone's guess. It was pretty hard to read his face, as half of it was covered by his customized blindfold.

Athan had every intention of asking Merci if she would allow Dio to visit his house so that he could peruse through his library, but didn't quite make it. "My apologies," he said instead, "If you will excuse me for a moment?"
He side-stepped both Dio and Merci and made a bee-line for Miranda. For a moment he feared he was much too late. She had hugged the demoness, but luck appeared to be on their side. The demon was frozen with a look of utter shock, but all too soon that look melted away to rage.
"Miranda, dearest," he said quietly, "I believe you've had far too much to drink." He smiled and looped an arm about her shoulders to hold her up right and away from Reyna. He gave the demoness a look that was quite serious. He'd really prefer to not have to use magic or create any sort of havoc at the party. That was especially so since it was Amon's party.
Silly boy was petrified of magic of any sort, which made his infatuation with Reyna quite ironic.
"Come along, dear," he told Miranda as he gently hauled her away, "You've met Dio, right?"
