Alex let out a guttural growl and marched towards the man. Every intent on spontaneously combusting the idiot.
Meanwhile, up on top of a very tall building, sat a lanky black cat. He stared down at the show below him...but with a frown. He glanced up, and looked up at a point in the sky that had absolutely nothing in it.
"I'm here because you asked. That's it. Alright? Here's my cameo for this scene. Happy? And I swear if ANYTHING happens, you are going to have to keep that blue aura on me for the whole damn role play if you want a happy ending."

The guy looked to John and laughed. "Shut up, you overgrown smurf!" he said, pushing John away with enough force to send him crashing into a building. He aimed a punch at Lucas, who blocked.
"Hey man, I'm sorry, okay! I wasn't trying to piss you off! Now stop before people get hurt!" the young hero said, and after a moment, the man relented.

Surprised at the speed and the power of the push,John was sent into a building. Climbing out,John cracked his neck and blasted back out of the building. Blue energy like flames soon appeared on him.his jacket ripped and tattered. John's white and red costume showed underneath.
Floating again back in front of the guy and the young man also seemingly right near him.
"How about we just all just relax?"John said, still calmed and controlled....a little.

Alex halted her march a few feet away from them with her fists clenched to her sides. She'd probably better heed the guy's advice as well. If not she was going to end up torching the drunk.

Lucas sighed, and looked to Alex. "You okay?" he asked her. "You didn't get hit by anything, did you?"

Alex looked over at Lucas, but didn't reply. The tension in her face faded a bit, then she bent over and let out a very long breath to try and calm herself down. "Yeah, I'm fine." she finally said. "You're the one that took the beating again."

Lucas shrugged, and looked to the guy he'd gotten his a** kicked by. The man stumbled slightly, obviously still drunk, and began to speak:
"Ey... I-I know-- I know that we got off to a... a rough start, but... I'm sorry. I'm Hancock, and... And I don't like it when I get called a a*****e," he said, his gaze unfocused, and his words slurred. Lucas looked to him and sighed.
"S'alright man, I guess..." the young hero said, rubbing the back of his neck. "I just hope no civilians got hurt too badly."

Alex let out another deep, calming breath before standing straight again. She crossed her arms and purposefully kept her gaze away from the drunk super. She'd managed to calm herself down at least some, and she wanted to keep it that way.

Lucas sighed, and held out his hand. "Lucas. Lucas Ellison. That's Alex Skylar," he said as Hancock shook his hand, and Hancock gave a drunken wave to her with the hand that held the bottle of beer, which Hancock had picked up from the ground after having dropped it to attack Lucas.
"Nice t'meet cha," Hancock said in reply to Lucas. "Sorry if I... ah, y'know... ah, screw it I dunno what I'm sayin'," he mumbled, and Lucas cocked an eyebrow.

Alex glanced over at Hancock and gave him a polite little nod, then went back to not looking at him.
Alright, so now what? Should she go around and make sure no one was hurt? Stay here and make sure nothing else happens? Part of her was wanting to get out of here, because she knew the cops would be coming at some point. She hated dealing with cops.

Sure enough, soon after the fight ended, the sound of sirens was heard and Lucas looked to see multiple police cars swiftly coming to the area, as well as ambulances.

Alex winced and turned her head towards the sound, instinctively backing up towards a nearby building. The sensible part of her was trying to calm herself down. The more instinctive part of her was darting around, looking for ways to escape. Fire ladders, anything. Police tend to want to arrest her, she tends not to cooperate with that, and then they tend to shoot at her.
"So...um. Are we done here?" She asked quietly.
Before Paragon could answer, two black and whites pulled up to the corner with flashing lights. The cops got out of each car and headed towards them, a hand firmly on their holsters. One of the men stayed back by the car, in case he needed to call anything in.

Lucas held up his hands slowly, as an indicator that he meant no harm. Hancock didn't do anything, though, apart from scoff drunkenly.
"Hi there!" Lucas said as the cops approached. "Uh... We've had a super-scuffle here, but it's all settled now, I think... I, uh, apologize to Keystone City for any sort of damage done to the area here. I can give an explanation..."

One of the cops glanced back at the others, then looked back at Lucas. "Good." he replied. "Think we'd all like an explanation."
The man back by the car kept all four supers in his line of sight, frowning. His attention bounced from the...demon? To the clearly intoxicated man. Then over to the female who was demonstrating nervous behavior. She kept inching her way away from the other officers, and kept her eyes fixed on their guns.

Lucas lowered his hands, and launched into a brief explanation of who he and Alex were. He touched down on Hancock's arrival and their brief scuffle as well, and when he finished, he awaited the response of the officers.
