Bul noticed that some of the other students had yet to make up their minds about crossing the chasm- specifically his Hungry Ghost friend. Biting his lip he turned to Famine knowing that she in fact was on their side now and trying to help them stop whatever hooded force was trying to kill all of them.
"I think.. grabbed a few when I was looking for my knapsack.." Bul said, reaching back into the bag to dig them out. All he had were three pieces that he had managed to find in the crazy incident with the fog. ((Im assuming these are pieces we found via the Shed right? )) "There's one and three.." he said taking out his own papers. "Huh? You guys picked up ones like this too huh?" he asked looking to West and Collette.
"Is this going to take us to the cloaks that ******** us all up? I wanna give them another beat down for this ******** s**t they caused.." he said, Mei on his mind particularly.

S a l l y S h e e p (( I don't know if we were supposed to get anything back when we lost our bag and found it again, but I never did. I'm only saying it in case it's relevant to having black papers, since because I got nothing I'm having Colette ICly gain nothing. )) (( Same. Will for now just RP what I do have, though. )) Aurian gave a guilty start when Famine went looking for the black pieces of paper that had fallen out of her cloak. She'd grabbed some of those before crossing the invisible bridge, hadn't she? The Reaper went rumaging through her bag. "No," she said, as her first try brought out one of the student notes they'd found. "Uh, that's the flashlight... Hmm, ah, here!" Making her way over to Famine, Aurian offered up a few sheets of black paper. "Sorry, I grabbed a few of these earlier when your cloak tore. And here's one I found in a shed down by the beach several days ago..." The earliest piece was marked with a "3". The ones she'd retrieved from Famine, she hadn't had time to inspect yet. Mixed in with both sets may have been a few extra map pieces from the time Aurian had lost her bag and gathered up its spilled contents without checking that everything was hers. "Will these help us use the portal?" she asked. She couldn't think of any other reason why they would be needed before escaping the ruined schoolground.

((Thanks for that extra time, Zoo. ^_^))
When Tomoko left their group to cross that invisible bridge, Jove panicked. He whined and broke away from Junko and Seiji, dodging the falling chunks of concrete as he darted towards the bridge. He wanted to pull Tomoko away from the edge, and back to safety, but she simply stepped out onto the air and continued across as though it were a perfectly solid pathway. He followed right on her heels, without any care to where his bare feet fell.
Except when he finally caught up and grabbed her wrist, they were already safely on the other side. He stood for a minute, completely stunned as he held onto Tomoko's wrist, and then brushed a dark piece of something from where it had gotten stuck to his tail.

As the figure reappeared and her cloak fell away the ghost was stunned, absolutely stunned. Never would he have guessed the owner of that voice, that maniac laughter, was a teenage(looking) girl. Not only that, but the crazy broad appeared to be, at least for the moment, on their side. Her motives were a smidge questionable, but at this point, Seiji would take his chances.
As Momo came to and got back to her feet with a little help, so to did the hungry ghost. Clawed hand reaching back to rub at the opposite shoulder. That chunk of ceiling had hurt, and no amount or rotating or stretching would ease the pain. Not that he didn't try.
With a rather suspicious sort of look the boil watched on as the younger two of their group made it across the chasm with no problems. Frankly, had he been a little less stunned from the blow, he likely would have chased after them, made sure it was safe first, but handful of students had made it across before them. With the pups safe, relatively, they were pretty much home free, right?
So catching Junko in quick hug, the boil walked to the edge of the crag with her safe in his arms, laying a kiss on the top of her head before reluctantly letting go. "We should probably cross one at a time."
Famous last words. With a grin the boil turned, stepping out over nothingness and onto that invisible path, strolling, for a brief second, on air itself before a last loosened chunk fell from directly above him. Crashing down on the poor ghosts head and making him stagger to regain his balance as the world spun all around him.
One step, another, then nothing. He was falling over the edge with the weight of her pack pulling him backwards, hands reaching desperately for purchase. There wasn't time for explicitives, there wasn't time to say anything but a vert startled 'oh' as wide eyes turned automatically to Junko before she was past the realm of his sight. And then nothing, he was gone.

Jove only barely heard the insane ghoul's muttering, but he rooted through his bag absently and pulled out the map piece he had found earlier... Hadn't he found more when his items disappeared? The pup was no longer surprised to find things missing, there were too many strange occurrences to be surprised, and too many frightening things for him to care. He handed the piece to the strange ghoul, not able to suppress the scowl that formed as he remembered how she had teased him back in the hallway with the lockers.
With that grudgingly done, he turned back to see how Seiji and Junko were faring, had they crossed behind him? Were they safe?
He looked just in time to see Seiji struck from above, and topple off the bridge. The pup's eyes widened in shock, and he dashed to the very edge of the giant rift in the ground, almost slipping in himself as he peered into the darkness. He whined, getting down on his hands and knees to look harder, as though the older boil would be making a heroic attempt to claw his way back up the side, or floating back up with the others in tow... But there was nothing there but empty space.
After a couple of seconds he took a deep breath, and shouted with surprising volume, "Seiji!"
But there was still nothing. His ears almost disappeared into his fluffy hair as they flattened back, and the pup broke out into another whine. The older ghost wouldn't be coming back...
((The map piece is #3, like everyone else I'm not sure about the three rolls we did while grabbing more pieces.))

Raziel only kind of heard Colette through his thoughts. He was still wondering how Famine had gotten here in the first place, who's side she was really on, and how much she knew that they could get out of her. He was also still just a little bit taken off by the fact that she wasn't hideously deformed under the cloak. When Raziel finally did hear what Colette was saying to him, it was about the portal, glowing and cracking in front of them.
"You're right, that must be the only way out," he replied, noticing then how frustrated Famine seemed to be with the passcode on the thing. His face probably matched that of Colette, horrified at the tact with which Famine was using to "enter the passcode". She was literally banging on the thing in a cavemonster sort of way.
"Yea... help her," Raziel agreed, still a little unsure. Following Colette's lead, Raziel moved over towards Famine, and dug out the only map piece he had actually gotten. It had a white number two on it. "This is all I've got though," he offered it almost sorrowfully to the... horse?

"Ten seconds."
It was hard to think straight through the pain of a broken nose, let alone a broken nose that happened to be leaking all over oneself in the midst of some grand scuffle.
"Nine."
For better or for worse, Elaphe remained sadly incapacitated through the chaos of the battle, his swearing garbled, muted even, as he found himself tugged along in Tomoko's trail like a toy on a pull string. His vision was blurring from the sting, his ears were ringing, and oh, how badly he wanted to lash out, to yell at her, to hiss, to bristle, to do anything and everything in his power that might help purge the feelings of uselessness--
"Three, two, one-"
And then there was a percussive explosion that deafened him completely, every other thought coming to an abrupt stop. Third hand still clasped desperately to his bloodied face, he frantically looked around and up. The school… oh, Jack, no; the building itself was coming down?! Even his turtle-shaped luggage seemed suddenly panicked at the realization, flapping its flippers desperately as if it might spur him into motion. He needed to run. He needed to run now.
Instinct and fear were ultimately what possessed him to take off on the tail of the closest familiar body he could see. Frantically trying to keep up with Tomoko's fleeing back, he stumbled after her, lagging horrendously, periphery a blur, senses overwhelmed, heart ready to pound right out of his chest. He was scared out of his mind, scared for his life, running, fleet-footed, across something he couldn't even see in the hopes that, somehow, following in the little kitsune's footsteps as best he could through with eyes watered to the brims.
... Perhaps that had ultimately been his undoing when he managed that lone misstep, suddenly feeling no resistance beneath his foot. Before he knew it, he was toppling sideways, swept up in a split second's weightlessness with a rising flutter in his stomach before the bottom promptly dropped out of it. Terror. That was all that filled him. There was no chance to catch himself, to be righted, or even saved at the cost of his pride... just a moment to loose one raw little scream, before he pitched into the haze, and out of sight.

((Sorry I deleted so I could catch up better with this post))
While the group worked on dispersing their pieces to Famine, Bul glanced back to the chasm and the bridge built then the ones who were on this side with him. He was worried about Seiji and the group of smaller creatures with him.. but what could he do? Bul knew that if he stepped on the bridge it would crumble beneath his big feet... but he wanted to help!
It was Seiji's turn to cross. "Come on.. come on.." chanted the half beast softly. Then the chunk of debris started to fall and the monster lurched. "SEIJI LOOK OUT!" he cried but it was too late. Another friend fell down into the chasm below. Bul had now lost most of his acquaintances- people who helped him recover from his own near death experience... and he could do absolutely NOTHING to save them from a dismal end.
At this point the monster was quivering- shaking with horror and lament. He wanted to shove the Famine girl to get them into the portal faster as if it had some hope of saving the others. He hadn't even thought to ask her if they'd be okay but-
His head turned to catch sight of another little monster he hadn't noticed and winced when he watched the bridge starting to crumble. For this Bul actually closed his eyes. He didn't want to see another body falling down helplessly into the darkness... he just couldn't take it.

Tomoko whirled around almost immediately when Jove yelled, ears perking up. What was happening to Seiji??!
For Tomoko, it was a really horrible sight for her, her brows furrowing together as it seemed almost slow motion to see Seiji misstep and go over the edge of the bridge. It wasn't just Seiji either, unfortunately. It was almost on the ghost's heels that the boy that Tomoko had pretty much bludgeoned unintentionally also went over.
Noooo!!!
The Kitsune made a choking noise, followed by a whine similar to Jove's, eyes staring to tear up. She just..this had been a horrible thing to wake up to. Maybe she should have stayed out cold. THen she could have at least died in her sleep rather than leaping into the uncertainty of the situation they were getting themselves into.
It was just...horrible. She dropped to her knees, staring down at the ground seeming as though some part of her had just been kicked in the gut. ANd quite a bit of her -had- been. This whole thing was sucking.
Seiji was gone. Mei was gone. Elaphe was gone. Where was Junko? Was she okay?
She really didn't want it to dwindle down to some poor sad numbers....
((Rolling with this in case I needed to and the roll wasn't map-related last time. DON'T WANT TOMO AUTO-KO'D FOR FAIL REASON. ))

Sin pulled out a folded black paper from the tent marked with a 2, she ruffled in her bag and pulled out 3 more pieces she had found when the fog had confused her. Then she opened her first aid kit and pulled out the black scraps that had fallen from the reapers cloak. She was shaking, and tears still slid down her cheeks, but if this would get them home...she would cooperate. A part of her felt hollow inside, as if the only thing she could feel was the ache in her chest...and the guilt. Yet her mothers voice was there still and she was trying to regain some sense of composure after loosing it so badly in front of everyone. It was shameful to be blubbering so...when their situation was so dire. Her hand trembled as she held the black papers out towards Famine her eyes narrowing on the other ghoul with dislike and distrust. She might have kept the papers out of spite, but Rosc's loss had been too hard a blow for her to want anything but to cooperate and get out.

Junko was at a loss. Everything was happening so fast! She was hit by a piece of falling debris that hurt, but at least not terribly. But..but people were disappearing. That's all, right? They were just...dissipating? Right? Right?! MEI!? Wh-what was she--no! And then Sarias?! That idiot! Why was she just...ugh! She didn't like either ghoul but...but why..?! Junko whimpered and tried not to look at the chasm, wishing even more to just..go home. Wait, who was that? The...er...'daughter of Famine' was back? What was she doing here? Was she just going to fall into the chasm like the others?
...No...there was a path! Junko looked hopeful now, clinging tighter to Seiji as her eyes widened. They could just cross that, right? Forget the fact that the ghoul over there was chanting and very politely asking that they all die! Yup, just going to ignore that. Clearly this path was the way to go--or..or not. Any glimmers of hope Junko had had that they would be okay were dashed by the first student falling, followed by Holly...so many students were just falling--quite literally!--left and right!
Was Tomoko okay?! And Jove?! And Elaphe? Where was he? Junko closed her eyes as Seiji hugged her and kissed her head, turning back for just a moment to make sure the two were okay. Wait! Where Tomo--oh. She crossed already. Thank goodness! And Jove was alright. She breathed a sigh of relief and turned back to Seiji.
...Seiji...Seiji was...
Junko's eyes widened and her jaw dropped, her heart practically stopping as she watched him shrink. No, no..he wasn't shrinking. He was falling. "SEIJI!" She cried, reaching out to grab his hand, his backpack..something and missing completely. No..nonononono! No! "Seiji? Seiji?! SEIJI COME BACK!" No...no! This...no! He was okay, right?! He had to be okay! This was like in Christmas Town, right? He'd just...reappear at the 'infirmary', their portal! She had no idea the portal was down back at the main base. As far as Junko knew everyone who was disappearing was coming back safe and sound like nothing had happened. He had to be okay. He just had to be. She whimpered and clamped a hand over her mouth, turning a burning glare toward the daughter of Famine. This. This was all her fault.
Junko took a step out onto the invisible path, her footing shaky but she managed to keep it. And then another step, and another. She made it across the chasm, fists balled up at her sides so tightly her knuckles were turning white. Students were getting hurt, students...no, Junko would not admit students were dying, but it was all this...this...b***h'S fault! Was Junko's anger misdirected? Possibly only slightly, but she had been the one asking them to die. All these damn reapers, and these 'mysterious hooded figures'. Junko was sick and tired of all of them. And so she stamped her foot down on the ground when she was on the other side, glaring darkly at the ghoul trying to figure out the password to the portal. Good, served her right.

Black sheets of paper? What black sheets of paper? The only ones Junko had were two sheets, a piece of paper with a 1 on it and a piece with a 3. "Take them!" Junko growled, crumpling up the papers and throwing them down. She didn't care about stupid pieces of paper. Quite frankly, she wanted nothing more than to beat down this strange ghoul until she was nothing more than a remnant of what was once a person.
A whine and movement of something blonde caught her attention, looking around in a slight panic until she spotted Tomoko on the ground. "Tomo-chan!" Junko cried, running to her and getting down to hug her tightly. Junko buried her face into the kitsune's hair between her ears, whimpering and refusing to let go. She was okay. Thank Jack! "I-I'm so sorry, Tomo-chan." She'd told her this trip would be okay! Ugh! She was so stupid!

"They deserved it, how could you not see the path in front of you", Famine muttered as they continued smashing the keypad, the portal was all but sizzling a strange grey smoke now, ignoring entirely the black pieces of paper she just mentioned. Just as it seemed the entire contraption was about to collapse on itself, the demon paused, staring at Collette like a deer caught in the headlights.
Before a single student could even voice a what - or even a why the ground closest to Collete had begun to sunk, taking the reaper with it as more of chasm surrounding the gymnasium started caving in. It would only be a matter of seconds before the entire room was consumed entirely.
"OH FOR-" was all Famine managed to say - she grabbed the students closest to her, yanked them by the hair, clothing, hands, ears, anything she could get, an ear-splitting screen echoed across the chaos once more and-
- they were somewhere else. ((OOC: - COLLETTE HAS BEEN INSTANT KO'ed. Feel free to post in the here. - OTHERWISE ALL SURVIVORS, FAMINE HAS TELEPORTED YOU here. Reconcile, and try your best to move onwards! ))
