A wave of relief came over Hibiki as Kira said Kuro was fine and to not worry about it. Saikoro was apparently good with animals, who knew? "Hibiki Inuzuka. I was also part of Kirigakure's Honor Academy. However, Kyu and I weren't part of the same class, and I have failed more than one mission before." He quickly introduced himself, almost in awe at being in the presence of THE rookie leader. He also said Kuro was doing fine. He was probably as restless as I was without him. We've never actually spent this much time away from each other.
Kyu's idea of ignoring the hospital's request of 'taking it easy' was slightly turned down by Saikoro. However, he would acknowledge, or not acknowledge, that they did not come from a hospital at all and was willing to overlook that fact. Hibiki's grin widened and turned towards Kira. "Let's go!" He commanded rather impatiently, overexcited to see his Vulpine friend. He wiggled in spot as if he was a dog begging for food. "Umm...that is if you are willing to go right now." The Inuzuka straightened himself, mumbling his correction.

Kyu pulled the toothpick from his mouth and held it in a cigarette-like fashion with his hand. With a sideways glance, the shark-man replied with a sly grin, "Really Saikoro? I don't think that building's moved in thirty years or something. You might just be the most forgetful person I've ever met. Well, If I'm going to be leading you there, we're getting there my way." Kyu placed the toothpick between his triangular teeth, and took a running start. For the first time in weeks, he pushed chakra to his feet, and launched up into the air, onto the black, ash marked tips of a nearby building. From a crouching position, he looked back, and pointed upwards, "My way is the high way, bro."
Kyu ninja-jumped to the next building, and looked back for Saikoro to follow. Once he felt sure that he wouldn't lose the slender man, Kyu dashed off, vaulting from rooftop to rooftop. It felt like ages since he traveled this way; it had been at least a month! However, in that past month, things had changed a lot. The town didn't look the way it did when he was a kid, nor did it look the way it did just a month ago. Since the bombing of the town, the misty white and blue town was more of a grey and black color. Buildings where missing their rooftops, or completely demolished. The fish-ninja looked at the town in dissatisfaction. Kyu looked down for a moment, suddenly remembering something. As he looked up, he thought, I made a promise... Didn't I, bro?
Kyu made a slight detour in their trip, heading to an area south of the mission offices. The genin stopped on a tall rooftop, overlooking a park square. At the center was a playground, blown sideways from the explosion of a nearby building. Kyu stared at the park with disgust. The genin shook his head, and put his hands out, making his forefingers and thumb into a square. As Saikoro closed in on him, Kyu spoke.
"You know, about a month ago, I wanted to fix up this place. Using the money from doing missions, I was going to fix up that playground, buy out some of those shops, fix up the roads..." Kyu looked through his box, and placed it over the charred shopfront where he planned his sushi-bar to go, "There was going to be a fish place right there. Fresh sushi rolls, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. I was going to hire the best sushi chef in Water Country. It woulda' been famous, bro. The revenue was going to extend the community repairs outward, and fix up this damn town."
Kyu lowered his hands, and shoved them in his pockets, "Looks like I'm pushing that goal back a bit. This entire town needs to at least return to a livable condition before I can go all out and play entrepreneur, eh, bro?" Kyu turned away, and took a few steps before jumping away from the pitiable scene. As he flew through the air, he called backwards, "Let's move." Kyu leaped from blackened rooftop to blackened rooftop. It only took a minute or two until Kyu dropped down from the city canopy down to the paved floor.
In front of him was the same half-destroyed building he'd seen three weeks ago. Kyu gestured towards the building, "Saikoro, Mission Offices; Mission Offices, Saikoro."

Quote: Rank: C To Kill a Mockingbird -Overview: A rogue ninja from your village has made off with several scrolls full of valuable information dealing with the village's inner workings. The mission is to locate the rogue, take the information back, and deliver it to the Kage. ---Step 1: Head out! You and your team meet up at the front of the village and set forth towards the outskirts in order to locate the rogue, who has a couple of hours' head start. The walk is a long distance and should not take a bit of a march before you start to notice the rogue's presence, however if you rush recklessly you might trip some traps. The Kage's receptionist has provided you with a map of the rogue's traveling direction. Be careful. ...Count: 200 ...Check: Awareness - Tracking Check (Int(x2) + Int Stat Buff(x2) + Jutsu Awareness Buff + Item Awareness Buff vs 350 ) ...Requirements: Only one member needs to make the check at the end of the post requirement to continue. Should the check fail the team has lost the rogue's trail and must rp an additional 50 lines before the check can be attempted again with a +5 to each additional attempt. ---Step 2: Avoid the cleverly hidden traps! You have managed to locate the rogue's trail, however the ninja is aware that he/she is being followed by now, so they start laying down traps to hinder your progress. You must dodge these to continue safely. However if one may locate the location of all traps they may skip this step. ...Count: 75 lines ...Check Dodge Check (Agility(x2) + Agility Stat Buff(x2) + Dodge Buffs vs 200) ...Requirements: Each member needs to make the check at the end of the post requirement to continue. Should the check fail the team mate may attempt to pass the traps again but with a +50 to their check, however if this step if failed three times then the rouge has gotten away and the mission is a failure. -*(Special Check to skip Step 2 - May only be taken once.) Awareness Check vs Normal Disguise PC 500 ---Step 3: The encounter! After getting pass the elaborate traps and obstacles left behind by the rouge and tracking him/her down to their resting spot, your team find yourself in an advantageous situation. Arrogant with their abilities the rouge has dropped their guard with the belief that they have escaped your clutches and is currently setting up camp on the edge of a small forest with an open plain between you and them. This is your chance to complete your mission, can you lead your team to victory? ...Count: 100 Lines ...Check: Stealth Check VS Jutsu Disguise(150), Sneaking(350), Normal Disguise(750) ...Requirement: Only one member needs to succeed this check, the PC for each type of stealth presented in the () to show how difficult it would be to approach through that means. Once succeeded you have caught the rouge and may proceed straight to Step 6. However each time some one fails this check, the PC will double to represent the rouge's heightened awareness and suspicion of his area and if all members of your squad fail this check you must proceed to Step 4. ---Step 4: Combatants foreword... Failing to take the rouge by surprise, a battle ensues between you and your former comrade. Armed with a bow modified for single handed use and a light shield that exhibits the use of chakra channeling, your foe will do everything he can to defeat you. ...Count: N/A ...Check: Offensive-Damage Only vs 900 Defend vs 1,200 ...Requirement: (For this step Message a mod to take over the NPC or elect one player to do so if you feel confident) Battle Order will comprise of NPC > Fastest to Slowest Player(Agility). To incapacitate your foe you must strike him 10 times, success on your Offense checks counts as 1 Hit and for every Degree you succeed by that counts as an extra +1. However your foe will strike back at you on his own turn that you must defend against and if he can strike you, using the same rules, (Your Stamina/100) times then you in turn are KO'd. Should the foe KO your entire team, the rouge will escape and your mission will be a failure and if 5 rounds should pass and you have not KO'd the rouge then proceed to Step 5. But success will allow you to advance to Step 6. ---Step 5: The Escape! As the battle begins to drag out and blows are exchange, hopefully in your favor, the rouge chooses to take a chance to escape. Throwing down a smoke bomb to hide his escape, the rouge will escape through the forest that laid behind him. ...Count: 75 Lines ...Check: Flee Check vs 650 ...Requirement: Only one member of your team must succeed this check. Failure means that rouge has gotten away and you have failed the mission, Success means to go back to Step 4, all damage too your party sustained while the Rouge's damage will decrease by 3. ---Step 6: The final bend... Can you make it? You have finally captured the rouge but there is one issue left. The scrolls that were stolen are no where to be found on his person or in the camp the only place left to believe is that it is hidden somewhere in the area between the camp, the forest and plains. Silent and unwilling to provide any form of help other then 'Its staring right at you', the rouge will glare at you all the while, even if tortured. ...Count: 100 Lines ...Check: Awareness Check vs Jutsu Disguise(450) ...Requirement: Only one member of your team must succeed this check and can only attempt it twice. Upon success, you will notice that one of the rouge's eyes are a fake and if removed will reveal that it is currently under the effects of a time/space jutsu, and had you not removed it from the man the scroll would have been transported to another location but instead is trapped inside the fake eye. After succeeding or failing to find the hiding spot you may now return back home with the rouge shinobi. ......Rewards: If you only manage to bring back the rouge then you receive 450 Ryo. If you manage to bring back the scrolls as well you will receive an extra +600 Ryo. If you managed to skip steps 4&5 you receive an extra +250 Ryo. Each time you had to repeat Step 4 causes you to loose -25 Ryo. Notes:May only be completed once. Saikoro's brow arched questioningly, his tongue clicking in the back of his mouth in distaste at Kyu's choice of route to get to the mission office. Couldn't they have just walked a regular path to the damn building rather then exert energy, regardless of how small, to get there. "Sure, sure." The man murmured softly as he simply walked after Kyu, his hands blurring through hand seals each time he was sure the boy's attention wasn't focused on him. After each completion of seals, a small charge of electricity would surge through his system and his regular movements were accelerated to the point where in the moment it took for a person to blink Saikoro was able to catch back up to Kyu and still make it effortless with his hands shoved in his pockets and his graceful strides short and precises. For a second time during there travel, Saikoro watched Kyu with a questioning stare as they strayed off of the norm path and stopped at a destroyed park. Crumpling his nose at the smell of burnt turf and horrid trash, the man nodded his head in appreciation of Kyu's words but stayed quiet all the while. Instead he contemplated the ways that he could help the man with his goals. It wouldn't be the most difficult of things, in fact it was as simple as simply collecting a small portion of revenue of each person in the village and spending it wisely here and there. Endorsing certain businesses and funding special projects that would garner more profits into the village, even constructing a banking system for the entire country and funding it's formation and employment were thoughts that crossed the man's mind. But rather then expressing the thoughts, Saikoro simply let out a satisfied huff when Kyu finally decided to take off and continue taking him to the office... "Cute. Just be out here when I get back, mmk?" Saikoro ordered rather more then requested as he entered the building with his eyes rolled at the way the boy truly believed he had forgotten where the office was. It was only a few minutes later that Saikoro reemerged from the building, a rolled up map held firmly in hand and a smile plastered across his thin lips. "That was simple enough. It seems in the aftermath of the Orasakai Twin's attack, all our traitors started coming out of the wood works. Our current mission is to track down a b*****d that has blueprints to our entire village's inner workings and get them back, with or without him. I'll give the rest of details and we're all in a group but right now we should gather our stuff. Time to go to your place and get your gear, I suppose?"Kira chuckled happily and nodded his head, "That'll be no problem, no problem at all." With a happy grin Kira took the lead and began to walk up the path that led out of the beach and back to the main road. "You really care for that fox, don't you?" He asked, his head tilted slightly as he tried to ponder the type of attachment Hibiki and Kuro had for each other and just exactly how it felt. The closest attachment he had himself was to Saikoro and while the man was a sort of older brother figure or mentor to him, there was always a distance about Saikoro... a wall that he did not let down for anyone and left everyone around him in a constant mystery of what exactly he felt or thought. Hibiki followed Kira with a genuine smile on his face. It felt odd to be this happy without medication being involved. The boy inquired about the Vulpine duo's relationship, and how they care a lot for each other. The Inuzuka never thought of it before, since it just seemed natural to him. He hummed a soft 'uhm' before answering the question, "Yes. I care a lot about Kuro; he has been my best friend for as long as I could remember. It is not uncommon, you know, for Inuzuka's to be this attached to their partner." He cheerily replied. He walked with his hands behind his back, each stride made his body sway back and forth akin to a child. If someone was observant of Hibiki's behavior they would see an almost turn around of personality, from a short-tempered feral to a child being brought to their favorite playground.
"See, while everyone else played Ninja, or partaken in family rituals, I didn't. True, I did have the family ritual of meeting my canine companion, but that was required or my family would have been dishonored." His smile continued to increase until he mentioned his family again. Where it began to fade slightly. "After that, my parents grew apathetic and lethargic. My brothers took care of me most of the time, but they had other things to do. I didn't have any friends, so it was usually just Kuro and I. After a while, you kinda get attached to someone that has been through everything with you. He is just like another brother to me." Hibiki now looked towards the ground as he began to think about his past slightly, but then looked up and smiled at Kira. "Sorry about that. Is there anyone you care for a lot?" As Hibiki regressed back into a child rather than a blood-thirsty Inuzuka, it was easy to see how curious he truly was. "Do you have a Kuro?"

The sides of the genin's mouth turned downwards when Saikoro gave a summary of the mission. With sharp white teeth clasped shut, he muttered, "A traitor, selling vital information to the enemy, eh? What kind of scun turns on his village with such a spiteful act. I hate his kind more than the Orasakai Bros'. They may have blown up the village, but at least they didn't seem to sell out..." Kyu clenched his fist, and took a deep breath, "Yea, I'll go grab some ninja tools and whatever else I can get my hands on. You should probably go collect Hibiki, Kuro, and Kira. I'll meet you back here, and we'll leave immediately." Kyu paused, and added, "I'll grab a second tool pack for Hibiki. It'll save us some time." Kyu took a running start, and called back, "See you in a few-"
Kyu flew from rooftop to rooftop with his chakra-powered strides. He utilized the shortened, direct rooftop route to get to his family's estate with time to spare. Kyu dropped down into the cobblestone platform in the center of the family's courtyard. The ninja ran up to the front rice paper doorway, and slid the sliding door to the side. Ignoring his family like usual, Kyu dashed up to the upper floor to his room.
He rummaged though his personal effects, and filled up a pair of shuriken and kunai holsters, two basic packs of basic ninja tools such as ninja wire and scrolls, and finally grabbed his Kevlar Vest, which seemed to have been delivered back to his home.
Kyu started counting up the supplies one more time before he headed out, but his count was interrupted when he noticed the sickeningly sweet, bitter, and smoky smell of expensive tobacco and alcohol coming into his room. From the doorway came the gruff, taunting voice of a man in the doorway, "Kyuzaku, 'didn't know you were out of the hospital yet. The Doctor said you'd be another couple of weeks."
Kyu sneered, but didn't turn around, "They lied. I'm fine. I'm prepping for a mission. So if you don't mind, please leave me be." Kyu started checking the hip packs again, but the man behind him didn't leave. The genin decided that they were fine, and hitched them to his belt, then walked towards his door to leave, however, the imposing, blue-faced leader of his family stood in the doorway. He was clad in black, pinstriped hakama and a yellow kimono top with orange swirls. His blue-black hair hung ragged over his middle-aged fish-man face.
Kyu's father took a step forward, staring down at Kyu with his six-inch height advantage, "Heh, pushing yourself too hard again, boy?" Kyu stared back up into those black eyes with ferocity. With his bandaged right hand, Kyu shoved the tall figure from his path abruptly, "No, I'm just living a real life, unlike some people I know. Seriously, I don't have time for this, idiot."
Kyu briskly walked down the hallway, ignoring the angered barks and yells from behind. Kyu got to the rice paper door, opened it quickly, then slammed it behind him. Kyu took a sprinting start, and leaped up onto the outer walls of the estate. As he jumped from the wall back into the city, he caught the final yell, "You're going to need me one of these days! When you do, you'll be sorry!"
Kyu spat, "Fat chance." Today seemed to be a rollercoaster. One moment, there was excitement, the next, he was brought back to earth again. So far, he was already on the second hill. Kyu frowned Sure, I probably could have handled that differently, but I wasn't lying. I don't have time for that. Not now. Then again, I'll never have time for that waste.

A similar smile played against Kira's lips as he basked in the thought of such feelings of closeness and adoration. It was a warming feeling to think of for the boy, who had personally couldn't remember a life long attachment to anyone at all. So when Hibiki asked him who he cared for a lot, it took him by surprise and left him in a silent stupor for a long time before he was able to answer the question truthfully. "Well in all truth... It'd have to be no other than Saikoro. He's the closest thing I have ever had to a friend or even an brother." He choked out with a half grin, his eyes staring out blankly into the misty horizon as they took a turn to the right and began up another road. "He can be a bit.. distant, but he's a good guy and he's always looked out for me. Even before, when he didn't even know me..." His voice trailed off slightly as he went into deeper thought about his relationship with Saikoro, a heavy breath that was neither one of relief or of grief passed his lips. Grinning once again he picked up his pace and nodded to Hibiki, "Yes, we have him. He's been staying Saikoro, well we both have... My place was destroyed by the attack and I've yet to find a new place to move into due to the situation of the village. But yea, Kuro is at the apartment so lets hurry up and reunite you two, eh?" Kira said gleefully before taking off in a quick run.
By the time Kira and Hibiki would make it to the apartment building, Saikoro would already be sitting on the stoop arms crossed over his chest and head staring at the sky above. Two bags of shinobi gear would rest beside him and the scratches of an animal could be heard behind the steel door behind him. With a lazy glance at Hibiki and Kira arriving, the man would easily get up from his seat and move to open the door for a blur of orange to run and meet Hibiki, himself shrugging nonchalantly as he simply closed the door and tossed a bag to Kira before grabbing the last for himself. "We have a mission, I'll give you the details when we're all gathered up. Kyu should be waiting for us at the gates of the village with spare gear for you, Hibiki. Lets move out~" Saikoro said decisively before moving on without a second's hesitation.

(Sorry for my absence. Thanks for stepping in for me Sai.)
Kira grabbed the bag and slung it over his right shoulder. While he turned the sun seemed to bounce off of his scar. He looked to direction of the gate with a sort of fire in his heart. He was prepared for this mission. He had been training for over three weeks and felt stronger, more confident, and more in control of himself. He wouldn't allow a situation to occur like the last, in that battle where he froze. In this situation Saikoro can't reveal his true strength. The two new team members have seen his abilities, in this situation if it came down to it.. people could die. Even though in one situation the two, now three counting the animal, were enemies.. they are now allies and it was to Kira to protect them. Kira smiled into the wind as he thought of Hibiki and his last conversation. It was true, Sai.. in this case Saikoro was the closest thing he had to a friend.. or even a brother. Looking back to the very first moment in the blizzard when Sai had brought him out of his rage and calmed him, when Kira (Soul) Had followed him to the cave they were resting at, he had brought him in, kept him safe.. unless you count planting an explosive as unsafe. In some time he began to open up and treated him like a brother.. The long journey to Water Country had been one that brought them closer. With it being just them on the ship, other than the crew and the two unconcious passengers. Then was the weeks of training that lead up to this day. Yes, Sai (Saikoro) was the closest thing to family, friend, anything that Soul (Kira) had ever had. "Alright.. I'm ready to get on the road when you guys are.."

Hibiki nodded profusely as Kira answered his question a bit more thoroughly than he had expected. He understood the feeling. The way he explained how he felt about Saikoro was akin to how Hibiki felt about Katsu. "I'm glad you have a brother who looks after you." He murmured quietly, slightly envious of not having his brothers around. Hearing that they were close by seemed to make him even more excited as he practically grinned from ear to ear. Kira picked up his speed a bit, and Hibiki did the same as he sprinted alongside him.
They reached the apartment in no time at all, and Saikoro was waiting for them. The Inuzuka thought it was odd that he appeared there before they did, since he made a stop at the Missions Office. He shrugged it off just in time, for as soon as the door opened a blur of orange bolted straight towards him. Hibiki gasped, as if it was a sudden surprise, and embraced the impact of his fox and spun around. "Kuuuuro!" He cheered as he spun like a top on the spot. Kuro bounced off of his chest, making Hibiki take a step back for balance. The animal ran circles around his long-lost Inuzuka friend and went into a yipping frenzy. Hibiki giggled loudly as he tried to watch the orange speed racer sprint around him. However, he stopped the childish antics as he heard the word 'mission'. Suddenly remembering that there were other people present, he nodded. "Well I have no need to get ready. So let's go." Hibiki said quickly and quietly as he felt heat rise up in his cheeks. Showing that much immature emotions in front of a pair of shinobi he was about to go on a mission was unacceptable in his eyes. Kuro was still running circles around him as he tried to bury himself in his already large sweater.

The journey back to the meet-up point seemed longer than the outbound trip. In just a half an hour, he'd been reminded of a few too many things all at once. As grim and depressing as it was, Kyu also felt that he had goals set out before him. Three, sequential, obtainable, and necessary goals.
First, I gotta rebuild Kirigakure from the ground up. Originally, I was going to just fix the village's problems with issues with vandalism and crime. Since the town went up in flames, however, it seems that crime has lowered, simply because criminals can only break a town so far. Once it reached this point of destruction, there is simply no more you can do it, aside from interpersonal violence. I'll call this goal complete when the village is on its way to becoming a village that I want to live in. I'll raise the money, and I'll dedicate the time to fix this place up. I swear.
After that's finished, I'll move on to my second goal: Rebuilding the estate. Father... He doesn't deserve to run it anymore. He squanders money, and he acts irresponsibly. I'll pull that power from his hands with my own two hands- Kyu landed on the edge of the Mission Office rooftop, and overlooked the paved clearing below.
"Not back yet?" Kyu muttered as he began to walk across the edge of the rooftop like a trapeze artist. Kyu held out his hands horizontally to the side, and swayed back and forth on the ash-streaked edging. He toyed with his balance, mostly for his own amusement as he waited, then deliberately fell sideways off the building. With his nimble blue fingers, he caught the edge of the building, then whirled into the side of the buliding. He kicked his feet up, and hit the building with the soles of his ninja boots. He let go of the railing, and with his other hand, grabbed a nearby window ledge. With a swift leap, he vaulted down and over the canopy in front of the doorway, and onto the ground just nearby.
Coolly, he put his back against the building, and adjusted the toothpick in his mouth such that it protruded from the corner of his lips. Kyu stared into the misty streets, hoping to see his teammates, but saw nothing. His eyelids lowered, and his mind fell back onto the topic at hand: goals.
Where was I... Rebuild the Village, Rebuild my Home, then... Rebuild the World. Kyu's eyes opened slightly, and the edge of his mouth curled lightly into a smile, Probobly the least probable goal to complete, but I have to... Kyu's half-smile disappeared as quickly as it came, Pass on Sosuke's last wish. That's what he wanted... He traded his wish for my life... I can still... I can still hear his voice. Kyu shut his eyes tight. During the battle with the Orasakai brothers, all of the memories of his brother bubbled to the surface. His kid-older-brother's voice was vivid in his head, like he heard it yesterday. It hurt just as bad too.
The voice echoed in his mind's ears again, I want you to fix it.... You can do it Kyu, you can change it all. Kyu clenched his fist and bit down on the toothpick in his mouth. Snap! The toothpick split in two, and soared out of the shark-nin's mouth. The fish-man sighed, and his eyes opened sorrowfully. The words were hard to produce for the ninja; they were said quietly to the mist, "Yeah, bro. You can count on me..."
Kyu stood up from his leaning position, and spat out the end of the toothpick. His hands slid into his jacket pockets, and he gazed into the town's signature fog again. Still nothing.

(Sorry for the wait, no mojo)
Saikoro's soft steps came to a halt as he reached the entrance of the mission's office, his violet eyes watching Kyu carefully as a smile played across his thin lips and his head jerked in the direction of the street that led to the main gates of the village. "You're set and ready, yes?" The man asked before turning to walk down the path before continuing on to speak to the group that he was almost certain would be right beside him at this point. "The mission is around a theme that we all have become rather acquainted with as of late." Saikoro joked in a sour tone. As the man walked he slung the large pack of gear around his shoulder and neck so that the pack hung on his chest, and with careful hands he opened and searched through the contents for a moment before passing out sets of ear pieces joined by a wire to a collar that had a small microphone attached to it.
"We'll be tracking down yet another traitor, Yui Shifune. The man stole a set of scrolls full of valuable information and has taken leave of the village to do god knows what with it. Whatever his plans are they are of no concern of us as we simply need to track him down, catch him, find the scrolls and bring both back, simple enough." The man said before taking out a map from the pack as well and shifting to stand by the edge of the road. Crouching down to the ground and spreading the map open, Saikoro jabbed a finger at their current position and every other place he would speak of. "Alright, so this is where we are and the last known place that the man was to be seen was around here... Fleeing in the direction of Whirlpool. Now, I'm figuring he's probably headed to Fire Country before taking some route else where. Now, he's had a good week's head start on us but the receptionist provided us with this map and his head band that still has his scent and chakra residue. We have two perfectly good trackers, so I am sure we can track this guy down with ease, yes." Saikoro said as he produced the head band from the pack and held it up for Kira and Hibiki to play with.

Intx2 + Int buffx2 + Jutsu Awareness buff + Item Awareness buff vs 350 (160)x2 + (30)x2 (Vulpine Intelligence) + 100 (Chakra Scent Tracking) + 50 (Finely Honed Senses) + 100 (Inuzuka Clan Buff) 320 + 60 + 100 + 50 + 100 vs 350 630 vs 350 50 + 28 = 78% 49 is a go!Hibiki readily accepted the communication device from Saikoro and was slightly disappointed that there wasn't one for Kuro. He shrugged it off, maybe it was just him that saw Kuro as another human being. He carefully put the ear piece in his ear and turned down the volume dramatically. It would not need to be very loud with his keen sense of hearing. The Rookie Leader said they should be familiar with this line of work. A traitor, by the name of Yui Shifune, had picked up a few scrolls he shouldn't have. Any childish behavior executed by the Inuzuka stopped immediately, for now was the time to be serious. Hibiki scrutinized the map as it was laid out. He was hunched over in his All-Fours stance with Kuro sitting adjacent from him. They both made notes of the locations that were pointed out, and Saikoro's theory. Seeing him pull out the headband that still had his scent on it made Hibiki almost quiver with anticipation. "It makes sense for him to escape to the Land of Fire, especially if he heads towards Konohagakure. Not only is the Hidden Leaf Village the biggest Village around, but it also acts as a sort of crossroads to other countries." He stated with a matter of fact voice as he swiped the headband out of Saikoro's hand. "Don't mind me, I have been incapacitated for a while now. This would serve as a great warm-up for me." Hibiki glanced over to Kira, expecting him to be the other tracker since Saikoro passed it off, and Hibiki knew Kyu wasn't as good of a tracker as he was. "Of course, if you have any suggestions or corrections, interfere."Now, he crouched low to the ground, almost nose to nose with his Ninsune, as they both sniffed the evidence wildly. "After seeing through the Aburame's deception and tracking both the Orasakai Twins in the midst of a blizzard, this should be a piece of cake." Grinning ear to ear as he spoke confidently to his ally. He activated his Chakra Scent Tracking and 'stared' out towards the roads with his eyes closed. A moment passed before he turned back to Kuro and whispered a few instructions into his ears. With a nod, Kuro used Man-Beast Clone and sprinted off in almost the opposite direction. Turning back towards the rest of the team, eyes open this time, "I've sent Kuro ahead of us towards the way to Whirlpool, hopefully cut him off before he gets too far. If that's the case, he'll send me a signal and try to herd him towards Kiri, or at least keep him still. Now, our duty is to follow his trail til either us or Kuro find him." He nodded as he closed his eyes once more. "Follow me!" And he was off like a rocket, weaving in between buildings and obstacles towards Whirpool's general direction. (Its k ssA, my brain feels dead.)

Saikoro appeared shortly after Kyu stared into the fog. Immediately, he began explaining the mission, while passing out some radio receivers and transmitters so that they could keep in contact at all times during the mission. Kyu popped the ear piece in his ear, and wired up and adjusted the collar clip so it was in prime location.
As he fitted the piece into the collar of his kevlar, Saikoro summarized the mission briefing. This time around, they were hunting a man named Yui Shifune, who stole scrolls full of valuable information. The goal was to retrieve the goals and catch the man behind the plan. Apparently, the man was last seen fleeing to Whirlpool, and its expected that he'd be aiming towards the Fire Country region, where he could use the crossroads to go pretty much anywhere he wanted.
The man's old headband was swiped away by Hibiki, who appeared to be excited that he was on a mission like this, or at least that he played such a crucial role. The boy breathed in the odors and essence of the piece with zeal, muttering about how his previous sleuthing should prove this job easy. It wasn't long until he whispered instructions in the little orange fox's ear, and the small beast transformed into the spitting image of Hibiki, and ran off towards Whirlpool.
Before the fish man could get a word in, Hibiki ordered teh others to follow him. The boy took off like lightning, and took paths that Kyu usually wouldn't take (like between alleys and over obstacles). Although the ninja didn't take teh much-easier skyway, Kyu had full trust in the Inuzuka's directions and seeking abilities.
As they ran, Kyu caught up until he was just behind the Inuzuka, and called forward, "Hey, bro! I brought a pack of ninja tools for ya. Gimme the word, and I'll give 'em to ya. I have a feeling it'll all come in handy."
(sorry its late, and knida blah, but it was late time wise when I wrote this... and i didn't know what to do wit kyu xP)

Saikoro raised an eyebrow in question but nonetheless took off alongside the rest of his team as they ran through the alleyways and leaped over the obstacles. Quietly he watched Kyu offer the supplies but as soon as the transaction would be over, Saikoro himself would move to draw the attention back to himself. "Just a question. But what are we hurried off too, Hibiki? Shifune left the country a week ago and was spotted in the direction of whirlpool. Rather then chasing after him, why don't we cut him off some where at the far end of Whirlpool or perhaps in Fire Country since it's almost certain that's his goal." The man questioned as he sped on alongside his companions.
(Sorry, really distracted)

Hibiki continued running on all-fours as he tracked the villain through the streets. The building began to be more spaced out the farther they went as they headed towards the village gates. He leaned his head to one side as Kyu mentioned ninja tools. "Thanks, thats what I get for being hasty. Throw them to me next time we stop." A frown flashed across his face for a second, before returning to his deceptively cheery disposition. A vevlety voice now spoke up as he questioned Hibiki's intentions.
"Time-wise, our victim has several weeks on us. However, he must be taking it slow. He would have used up a lot of resources to not only grab the stolen merchandise, but to escape outside of the city. I have no idea how powerful the fugitive is, but he may or may not have taken a break after. Now, it would be unwise to unveil yourself to enemy trackers the moment after you stole something, so Shifune may have stayed quiet for at least a day or two. After that, he would have to get through any sort of patrol along the way including the patrol for whirlpool. Even if he gets through the patrol, there must be some sort of sensor nin watching the border around Whirlpool. The route from Whirlpool to the Leaf Village will probably be even more abundant with guards, since Konoha is one of the biggest villages around. Now with all of this added together, I would bet you 5 Ryo that he is not moving as fast as we are and is doing things cautiously." He chuckled loudly, "We also have the advantage of 'security clearance' and Kuro. He will have checked in with every guard or patrolmen along the way to ask about anything suspicious. If he still senses a trail after Whirlpool, he'll signal for us to hustle to his location, and we'll do this process again."
"This system of tracking was taught to me in my academy years. I haven't had time to use it very often though." Hibiki's voice sounded slightly apologetic as they reached the dilapidated gates of Kiri.

Saikoro tilted his head to look in the other direction, his chest raising with a soft sigh that he quickly exhaled before continuing to reply, "Which is why I asked where are we hurried to and not why are we hurrying. I'm just curious as to why we should chase a person that can't move as freely as ourselves? We'd have to track him through whatever path he uses and whatever traps he leaves in his wake. So that's why I'm reasoning that it would be wiser to find ourselves in his path so he's left with us before him, Mist behind him, and no where to go on either side of him. Specially if you have Kuro continuously following him... it'd serve as a bluff if we hook Kuro with a mic as well and send him with a clone or summoning of some sort. Make the target hustle and reveal his hand prematurely and give us the upper hand... That was how I was taught in my training, work multiple steps ahead of the game to circumscribe those who can't." The man said softly, keeping his tone in a respectful manner so the conversation stayed at what it was, a conversation, and not cause a rift that might be created by anyone feeling as though they were being attacked or criticized.
