Ghaleon, Ravenclaw, 2nd Year
'...why did there always have to be manure?' Ghaleon asked himself. It was a baseless question, considering how obvious the answer is. But he asked himself the question none the less.
However, he started to wonder if there was a way to enchant his nose during Herbology... and potions for that matter. To not have to smell certain.. equipment. By no means did he dislike the class itself, on the contrary he rather well enjoyed it. But the smells, well, nothing could be perfect he surmised
He finished mixing the soil and manure together, and moved it over to the side as he started to layer the stones at the bottom of the pot. Then added the mix into the pot two thirds of the way up.
Gently placing the seeds into the pot and then adding soil over then to finally sprinkle water on top.
Well.. this at least went rather smoothly he thought and smiled to himself.

 Harmony Trumarie...
Harmony collected some Screechsnap seeds and put them in her robe pocket. She got a small bag of soil meant for one pot, and took out a nose plug that was usually worn by muggles for swimming. She eyed the manure wearily and mixed them together by hand with a small garden shovel. She put the stones at the bottom her named pot. She poured her mixture into the pot and poked a small hole with her gloved finger. She put the Screechsnap seeds in the soil and covered it up. Then she watered it with the classroom's watering can. Harmony mumbled a protective charm over her plant, fearfully it would be gone when she returned.
"Hello, Ravenclaw." Harmony greeted as she exited out of the Greenhouse.

Lena listened closely to what was being said by the Professor, writing down more notes if needed. When the teacher was done speaking, she starting collecting whatever tools and materials she would be needing for today, deciding she would plant a umbrella flower. After picking a spot where she would be working, Lena started getting ready to begin her task, putting on her gloves and her nose peg. She firstly took her bag of soil, walked over to the place where the dragon manure was and filled one scoop with it, pouring it afterward in the bag of soil. She walked over to her work area and started shaking the bag, trying to mix the two materials together, and after a while, when she thought it was mixed well enough, she put it aside and placed a layer of stones at the bottom of the pot. Lena then poured her soil mixture on top of the layer of stones until the pot was two-thirds filled. She took one of the umbrella flower seeds, put it on top of the soil and placed four units of soil on top. Tipping the watering can gently as not to drain the poor seed, she sprinkled a bit of water on top of the soil. Done! She said proudly, clapping her hands together, trying to get rid of all the soil that was covering her gloves. Looking at her work, smiling while tilting her head side ways, contemplating, Lena wondered how long it would take before she would see a change, a sprout, and if she would successfully take care of it and make it grow. She was never lucky with plants; she always seemed to under or over water them, causing them to die rather quickly..

Stars returns to the greenhouse.
"Hello Reanna, please make yourself at home as much as you could in a smelly classroom. Welcome to Hogwarts, please read the first few posts to get an idea of what we're doing, I have included a post that talks about current projects going on. If you read that and join the others in caring for their screechsnap or umbrella flower, you'd be on the right track."
After talking what didn't seem like a long speech at first, she paces around to see the plants. She smiles at the decoration some of the students have made for their plant pots, pleased by the some green shoots showing in the pots planted on Wednesday.
Despite the good mood, the manure naturally causes her eyebrows to knit, if only there was a charm to help that...
"Class, don't forget to show us what you make of your plant! I'm looking forward to some visuals. =D"

Lena ran into the greenhouse, having forgotten to water her plant yesterday. How could she have forgotten her plant!? She ran to a watering can, shouted. Agumenti! And the can filled with water. She ran to her pot and hurriedly sprinkled water on to the soil; nothing had appeared yet.. No plant, no sprout.. But it was only the second day. She didn’t expect anything to change until at least a few days..

Harmony came into the greenhouse. She looked for her plant, she spotted her pot with her name spelled in emerald glaze. She took a mental picture of it's growth and watered it, she'd draw when she had time. Then she left.

Lena wrote in her book what she saw when she observed her plant.
Observations: The soil was a bit dry because I forgot to water it..

As Stars wonders around the greenhouse, she's pleased to see the drawing left by Heart and Lena. She sees a lost looking pupil and goes to speak to her.
"Hello white_rain_melody, welcome to Hogwarts.
You may have noticed this is a greenhouse, so we're doing herbology here, I suggest you read my posts on the front page to get an idea. Of course, your classmates may kindly feel inclined to tell you, so take note."
She continues her rounds and sees a fully grown stalk with bubs on some plants, except for those where the watering has been neglected. She looks over at Ghaleon's pot with a weak looking sprout and light-coloured soil. Mentally, Stars debated intervening and giving the plant a sprinkle, but remembered they must learn... Sighing, she puts a charm over it to prevent the water loss, but smiles as the plants aren't too bad all together.

Lena walked into the green house and headed to her plant. She hadn't forgotten it today. From far, there seemed to be a light green thing that looked like a worm in the middle of the soil. Could it be-? She ran towards it, wondering if the plant had started to grow. It is! It is a sprout! She said excitedly when she had seen her plant up close and confirmed that the plant had indeed begun to grow; there was a tiny little sprout! She went to get a watering can that nobody seemed to be using and brought it to her place. Being already filled with water she carefully tipped it over and let a bit of the water fall onto the soil of the plant. She then got her notebook out of her bag and strated drawing what her plant looked like. She finished of the days work by writing down notes about her drawing.
Observation: A sprout has appeared.
