Exceed noticed she seemed a bit out of it as she leaned against the tree before he nodded and got off of it with her. He landed on his feet with ease as he motioned for her to follow him as he headed into the guide's zone.

Exceed smiled at her as the guides shook their head and motioned for them to follow as he kept his mind alert. As they moved through, they had a small group with them to tour the way to the main city.

                          Enchantment? Enchantment! D-SS
The art of enchanting is a centuries old art, perfected by the mages of Amaranthine who used incredible spells to enchant beautiful jewels to fit on hilts of weapons, armor, etc. Now, enchantments have become necessary in combat. With the demand for them rising, many Enchanters have taken to the field, instead of hiding behind shop stands. With this skill, you may skip the approval process for customs. Though this skill has its rules and limits as well. The skill is very useful because the Enchanter may enchant the most commonplace of objects. A stick they found, a rock, or even an army of broomsticks! Depending on how much energy they put into the spell, the user may choose from a list of enchantments to place on an object, or even a person. There are many skills labeled "on self", which means they can only be used on the user. Only one enchantment may be on at a time, the user may switch enchantments every post.

To the eastern most portion of Kranilla, there was mostly rainforest and deep jungle. The ride had been, surprisingly, very fast with Oroborous forming large fins under the water to speed along the journey. Merry were the tunes carried from whistles to ballads among the crew of the obsidian vessel. Almira smirked, but was otherwise strangely silent. Crimson lips and deep ruby eyes rarely moved beyond the occasional whale breaking the surface here, drawing lightning quick movements that went back to their origin point. Vampire nuances were deep rooted and hard to break. She was a statue, even as the wind blew the s**t starboard and her muscle barely flexed to keep the vessel steady. It was only when her attention was called that Almira interacted, and that potentially led to a lot of conversation with the Mer she'd taken on as a crew mate. Whatever they discussed, she would be notably focused on the oceans as they sailed along while maintaining an air of friendliness and civility. The trip took no longer than 7 hours, during which time Almira encouraged her crew, and her new friend, to get some sleep.

By the time they were about to make port, Almira had already caught sight of something strange. With senses second only to the mongrel dog-lords of Jorsul, Almira saw a thick, grey mist far and away. Her first mate caught sight of it a little while after, by which time Almira had began to judge what she was seeing. "Naeal, men, all hands on deck! We're about twenty minutes off from shore... Something's off." Almira steered Orobouros into the mist, taking direct control and moving more than she'd done so in the last seven hours combined. Back to a living creature, her joints did pop as human joints tend to after under use, but it was of no consequence. Within the mist, visibility was low, and her sense of smell was being bombarded. The closer to shore they approached, the stronger the smell of death and decay became,. "You wanted to see Kranilla... here she is... I had no idea it was so... grave," her velvet lips whispered to the mer, knowing her ears would pick it up. The ship yard they approached was rife with a sickening smell of blood, the sound of coughs and moans of agony. The crew were less keen to the sounds and not so bothered by the smell but seeing Almira all but cringing they understood how dire it was. They made port, docking with the aid of workers wearing masks and keeping their skin covered. Heavy thuds of boots sung the song of her soldiers stepping onto the wooden docks. "Let's get onto the shoreline. Something is really bothering me, Naeal. I feel as though we are being watched... like there's something in the mist." Almira stepped up, handing a piece of gold to the dock workers, and the ship seemed to shrink down before their eyes, into a small black ball floating to the Sin and then forming a pool at her feet no wider than she. The head of a man rose, white hear and grey eyes, poked through like a man rising through a portal. His body came after, a green coat and long, sickly blade in his hands. He stood at her side wordlessly, looking about as Almira carefully walked towards the dock. "This mist is of nothing natural. I cannot feel moisture in the air, don't taste anything like brine even so close to water. I know you feel it too, my friend. I fear we may have picked wrong when we chose to come to Kranilla," Almira warned. Her soldiers, once they began to break the tree line, arranged themselves ahead of her, two men armed with a shield and spear, stood at the sides. Jackal and Hideki. Ahead of them, and closer together, were Mikoto and Hyde, a greatsword and a jian in either hands. Bringing up the rear were Siv and Fantima, both armed with swords and boards. Her small command squad ready for anything. They'd walk in this formation, keeping Almira centered, and keeping Naeal safe by extension. The hair on the vampire's neck would be standing if it could... and her tattoo was burning just as intensely.

Keen ears heard a cracking branch behind the group. Almira turned on her heels instantly. Another one, and her head whipped the other way. "Keep your eyes up men!" she ordered snapping her fingers. In a flash, a spear descended from heaven, orante and radiating with the darkness of moonlight. From her free hand a hook slowly extended from her hand. Four sounds all at once like moans. It took only a moment of hesitation when she saw it, with it's blue, glowing eyes and humanoid shape. A single moment where curiosity delayed action. Siv was snatched into the mist in seconds. "Siv!" she roared moving alongside Fatima to help but stopping as Mikoto and Hyde grunted and the smell of blood permeated the air. Almira whipped her head around, seeing a pair of bodies with their heads surprisingly vacant. "Stay together!" Almira tried to order, but it came too late. Naeal and Almira went from surrounded by men to surrounded by the enemy. Only Oroborous stood now, towering over the two women, covering their backs. "You picked the wrong Countess. Who are you?!" Almira spat out in elven. The voice that replied sounded like a million insects swarming about, buzzing in harmony to form words, responding in the common tongue. "Who we are... matters not... You are Almira Herakk.... Sin of Gluttony... You are a liability... our master wills you die here..." Almira rose an eyebrow, letting Helliot, the hook originating from her wrist, give some slack, allowing some chain to flow free with a quick shake. "The men you killed were hired guns... I'm not so easy to prey upon... come forth, show yourselves!" she spat back in common. She gripped her weapons tightly, orbs of shadow beginning to form around her body. Orobouros moved closer, waiting to see what was coming. They could only see blue but faint glows here and there. They were being circled, and the hunters were circling closer. Three... no four... five? It was hard to tell. "Naeal... it might be prudent to call your friend too... they have numbers," Almira said tensing up, eager to tear into whatever had come to call them foes. When they finally did come into sight range, what she saw was... well it was slightly unnerving. A corpse walked towards them, flies buzzing about his cruel, decayed mouth like a nest, blue glowing eyes set in a skull that you could see the brain through. His hands had been morphed, fingers like blades, longer than butcher knives. He clearly had been dead a while, but whatever was controlling him was very powerful. He moved inwards slowly, as did his four allies surrounding them, each a zombie but too focused to really be called that. They had coordination, and seemed intelligent. The on thing they had in common was an incessant buzzing and awful smell. A smell like sickness. "Erek da Vakk," what the ********> was all Almira could muster.

In the blink of an eye they burst into black clouds, moving towards the trio in a swarm of insects. "Move now!" Almira mustered, leaping off of Oroborous, who followed as her shadow into the air over the clouds, landing somewhere in the canopy. Whatever was going on... escape would be as difficult as killing them.

                                            Regeneration
This is passive meaning it does it on its own. At different ranks you may regenerate your wounds. Trainees can only deal with cuts, by novice deep cuts, Adept rank you wont bother with a broken bone, masters can deal with an entire sword going through your body, and you can deal with a removed arm or leg, as well as internal damage to the organs.

                                            Telepathy
A skill that simply allows vampires to communicate with other vampires or those they have bitten within a week, letting them discuss strategy or simply have a discussion. The range of how far one must be from the other is vast, to be able to communicate one must be within the same country as the target. However, to be able to speak with them they must know each other. In the case of a progeny and a creator, they can talk to each other from across the world. The creator can also physically effect their progenies from anywhere, making them feel a longing to come to the one who turned them.

                                            The Rite of Blood
Upon obtaining expert rank, you may use this ability only twice, so choose wisely. If someone has died and not yet rotted completely, you may bring them back as a vampire. The ritual is simple; shove a liter of blood down their throat, and then bring them somewhere with no light. Not even moonlight. If this is done before rotting gets too grim, after a few hours they'll rise up, as your progeny. Being a progeny has benefits and losses. The one who turned you into a vampire will always feel the desire to protect you, and will not do harm onto you. Similarly, you will feel the same protective instinct, preventing you from harming them as well. You literally can't find it within you to hurt them. The one who turned you can get you used to being a vampire; to the life of bloodlust, avoiding the sun, whatnot. However, you will always be connected to them in a way some may not like. Their words will influence you, and greatly. While they cannot simply 'command' you, they can make you want to do things that you wouldn't ordinarily do, and could almost certainly make you do things that you would ordinarily do. You want to impress them. They're like your rolemodel, and your mind can fall under the mercy of their will. This is the benefit of owning a progeny.

If the barrier is one rank below them, they can stagger the opponent with just sheer force, causing them to be so distracted with their next post that only one skill can be used.

This was such a good idea. Like, seriously. I spent most of the seven hours on the deck, running to and fro as I spoke to each of the crewman. At one point I quietly whispered to Cypress, a question that had been burning in my mind since the moment we boarded the ship. "Hey, if this boat is actually her minion guy, why is there a crew to help?" I could feel the mental shrug from my friend. Maybe that the shadow-baby had limits, like he could only be just a boat instead of a boat that could drive itself. "But have any of them really done anything? Seems to be that they are here as bodyguards, cannon fodder for any potential enemy." I snorted derisively and shook my head. Only something long since dead would refer to people who were obviously friends with Almira food for the fish. I took the time to get to know each of them, asking questions about their favorite colors and middle names (requirements to becoming someone's best friend). Every now and then I'd come bounding back to the Countess to ask about something passing by or the different types of birds I would see in the sky. I even learned that Cypress is not only the name of my dragolich but also a tree!

Man oh man was I loving it up here! Mom was so wrong, I lasted way more than three hours. It's been like seven! A weird silence fell over the group, probably brought on by a heavy fog. The water droplets on my skin felt so cool with the wind blowing against me. Vision had cut down by miles. I couldn't even see the horizon anymore. Clapping my hands together I grasped one of the ropes hanging from the mast between my hands and started climbing, trying to not think too hard about which part of Ouroboros I was really grabbing. Pulling myself in to the nest at the top I braced one leg on the rim and reached for my conch. My grandma gave me this when I was a little tadpole, still swimming in the shallow end. It used to be hers but I had always loved it. On the outside the conch shell was a deep purple, almost blue. All along it were these silvery speckles and splotches, with the inside a lovely shade of lavender. I took this thing everywhere I went, partly to feel close to her and partly because it was super useful. Clutching the pole and raising the conch to my ear I closed my eyes and listened. Eerie. It was far too silent if we actually were that close to shore. Where were the sounds of the people stomping on the deck? Or the children playing on the docks. "You're too easy of a target up here. Move." Usually I had no problem being a nuisance to Cypress. The way he felt as he spoke had me remaining silent and deftly making my way back down to the deck. I landed in a crouch and bounded over to Almira.

Whoa. The smell hit me immediately from within the fog. Ugh, it smelled like rotted meat and sheer death. This scent was pretty new to me, and I couldn't help but shiver against the coolness of the air. An uncomfortable look was on my face, like I had a stomach ache and really had to poop. I crossed my arms over my chest in an attempt to hug some warmth into myself. "Does this strike your core, Naëal? Do not look away, this is the reality of the surface. Stare it in the face and master death as I have." I trailed behind Almira, obeying Cypress and watching the people who surrounded us. Signs of that plague were evident everywhere. I looked. Some of the citizens were covered in weird blotches, coughing up blood and shambling around like they had already died but their bodies hadn't noticed it yet. One man sitting on the ground reached a hand up to me and begged for help. My heart clenched and sorrow showed on my face. I've never needed money before, certainly not in Kaminae's palace. Being one of the soldiers I was always fed and clothed when needed. "I'm sorry, I don't have anything to give you." The only things I carried with me from the depths was my spear, my conch, the clothes on my back and Cypress. I figured whatever else I wound up needing could my scavenged or hunted from the ocean. It always provided for me before. In that moment, I wanted to turn fin and dive right back in to the sea. Looking at how soulless his eyes were, it was like he was seeing in to my very being. "Do not look away." I clenched my teeth and moved on.

The warning came and I was slow to react. What was going on? Cypress pressed the spear against my hand, his prehensile tail bending around to give it to me. I took it and held my arms out to my sides a bit. Crackling and snapping sounded off as his bones grew and surrounded by body like a crash cage. The helmet sunk over my head until I was peering through empty eye holes. Everything next happened in acute detail to me. I heard the branches and mirrored Almira, whipping my head back and forth to see the disturbance. I felt the wind whip around me in the aftermath when Siv was snatched. I turned too slowly as I reached out my hand and reach for him. Our fingers brushed just passed each other before he was gone. Just like that. Three sounds of impact and I flinched each time. A sickening crunch and Almira was shouting again. It occurred to me then, in all my years training and learning to be a warrior I never actually had to be one before. This was my first day on the job. It wasn't going so well.

"Naëal! This is no time for that!" Without even waiting for my go ahead I felt the added weight of Cypress' wings spreading. My body reacted instinctively, knees bending to aid with the launch. In that position we waited, coiled like a spring and tense as ever. My battle senses kicked in and I widened my stance, strengthening my base and spreading my hands on the spear. Through the mists emerged a straight up abomination. There was no other way to see it. Whoever this was had been human or elvish once, it was hard to tell through the deformities. Limbs elongated, body bulging as something moved beneath the skin. I knew enough Demonica to pick up on what Almira said. All I could do was nod my head in agreement, seemed like my voice was too scared too come out. Swallowing past the lump in my throat I eyed the others like him. A breadth of a moment and I was gone. I couldn't block out the sound of skin ripping apart as each of the corpse walkers burst into swarms of insects. In unison Cypress and I pushed, launching me in to the air. At the apex of the leap wings were spread and I was flying. "Cypress! What's going on, what are these?!" The panic in my voice didn't really register within me. Circling through the mist my dragolich gave us enough space to be near enough to fight these things, but far enough to not be encircled by whatever the heck these things were. We zipped past Almira and hovered for a moment. "Do we fight?" I honestly wasn't sure what to do with myself. What could I do, throw my spear at them and smack them with my conch? "Remember what you were bred for." I gritted my teeth. He was right, I couldn't idle by. A plan began to form, half in my mind and half in Cypress'. We were ready to act now, on Almira's orders.

They feel the light touching their shoulder, the running about of the small creatures, everything. They're very perceptive, moreso than most races. Furthermore, when listening through a conch (many Mer carry one everywhere), they can hear things for two kilometers around them.

You can manipulate it very precisely, and water manipulated by you is stronger than steal at base. Mer armor and weapons are made of water, and they weigh almost nothing, yet defend better than the armor of others, and attack better than any other spear. The water can indeed slice as if it were a blade, defend as if a shield even in liquid form. Specifically, this hardness scales with the energy you put into it:

                                                                              Novice - 100 Gallons

As the heroes dodged the strange mist, it started to converge from the corpses, focusing its flow into a single point. Quickly, this energy-filled mist would take the form of a corporeal maiden. Her eyes were bright, charged with the same light blue hue as the mist that shaped her. Before she even took her full form, her palms would lash to her sides, creating two portals of energy at her sides. From these portals, ten curved blades of corrupting energy would erupt from each, flying with great speed and precision in an even spread at all who entered the area. Then, she would congregate energy around her, creating an energy coat of A-rank power. This coat--formed of the same corrupting energy from before--would serve as a hefty deterrent to physical attackers.

Upon seeing the mist converge into a single point, Almira narrowed keen eyes, her tongue slinking over her lips, fangs beginning to protrude. A masterful, practiced spin transformed her spear into a long glaive. Chastiefol's Fifth Form: the Moon glaive took form suddenly, and high above the mist the moon itself turned red. As the energy began to form in the palm of the maiden, all of the shadows in the thread began to rush in to the glaive, casting a glow over the weapon. The ten curved blades of corruption flew towards the pair, but Almira was prepared. Her mouth opened wide, wails of lost souls faintly heard echoing form the bottomless pit of her stomach as Almira drew in all ten blades. When they reached her hand, immediately they were crushed down into a solution similar to blood, and consumed whole. Almira seemed unsatisfied after having devoured the energy of that first attack, taking the glaive up over her head like a Javelin. Her energy took root within her claimed tool, and her eyes glowed red with malice. With all of her might, she hurled the weapon down at the woman's visage. As it flew, fast because of both the skill she used and her massive strength, a black husk of energy surrounded the 3 foot blade as it flew like a very large arrow, making the weapon more than capable of piercing through her a rank defenses. Immediately following that, Almira the vampress became enshrouded in a gown of shadows, orbs flowing freely from it as well. Her form flung forward at the maiden, moving far faster than she could normally do to the shrouded advance. If she got her hands on the woman, she'd be able to tear her apart easily. Getting to her, however was the issue.

                                            • Sunder: If using an attack and the opponent conjures up a barrier, the user may shatter the defense if it is two ranks below them. If the barrier is one rank below them, they can stagger the opponent with just sheer force, causing them to be so distracted with their next post that only one skill can be used.

                                        Technique

                                            Viper's Bite v1 D
                                            Requirements: Energy
You throw your spear in an extremely straight and accurate path. This attack speeds up the spear considerably, giving the spear the speed of an arrow. While the spear is extremely difficult to dodge in this stage, it is still possible if the opponent is very fast, with supernatural reflexes.

                                            • Shadow Queen's Innovation [A Rank] - This skill allows Almira to use the shadows stored to do anything her imagination can think of provided that the shadowed skills are born of the weapon, and remain connected to it. She can, for instance, form a large golem from shadows to wield it, or increase the length of the weapon using the shadows. It can make a shield around the weapon, or even reach out with long, writhing tentacles to snatch at an opponent and envelop them. The creations last until destroyed, or the weapon changes forms, and they can grow from something akin to a five foot tendril at C rank to something as huge as a fully grown dragon at SSS, though something living that is created can only be as strong and fast as Almira, notwithstanding buffs.

                                            • Black Gown [ A ]
A skill to aid in her melee prowess, Almira can absorb nearby shadows that crawl up her body, forming an all black dress like like a thick mist that ignores lower attacks, rendering them null against it. This armor lasts until it is consumed by an attack of equal rank (or higher, which ignore the damage reduction entirely) and can be manipulated by Almira, or combo'd into other skills at any time. During Berserk state, this skill is activated automatically.

                                            • Shrouded Advance [ A ]
While her Black Gown is active, or while she is in an area void of sunlight, she can use this skill to advance on an opponent at +2 speed with the shadows covering her body whipping and slashing at anything that comes near her body during the post this skill was used. Is active during Berserk state automatically.

I don't understand what is happening. Was this an average Tuesday up on the surface? First the mist isn't what it seems and then the zombies aren't the real enemies, now the bugs are a woman? "You'll have time to worry about it later. Do you remember Lanoscea?" It took a few moments of flying in circles for me to remember what the heck he was talking about. I audibly exclaimed and clapped my hands together, I knew exactly what to do. Maybe I didn't exactly have a way to insta-gib this mass of nasties right away, but it sure seemed the Countess did. Cypress had been in full evasion mode, powering up to intercept the attack. The helm I bore began to emit a soft blue light, wavering in the winds. Before any reaction was taken though the blades of energy were sucked clean away from us. Following them I watched Almira suck them in to her gullet.

                                                                              Okay. That's a thing.

Deciding not to think too hard on it I rushed in for the setup my hungry hungry vampire friend needed to deal a killing blow. Cypress flew my low to the ground and using my innate ability I sensed the water in the area. So close to the docks there was plenty to use. I pulled forward as much as I could and surrounded the fly-lady on all sides, even underneath by coating the floor. When Almira's shadow form whipped by and splashed through my orb I immediately froze it solid. The water molecules stilled with my energy and solidified, icing over to lock Almira in with the fly lady. I channeled through Cypress, focusing our powers together to layer the ice again and again as powerfully as we can. The orb would be as strong as titanium, and even more so as we both dumped in our power together. Hopefully Almira could finish the job.

As a sort of instinctive move, the apparition would wave her palm to the side, creating a ripple of energy as the shadows started to converge around Almira's weapon. This was just the beginning of her plan. And the timing of the goddess was--as always--immaculate. As Almira threw her mighty projectile, the Dimension Door was tearing open behind the plague maiden. While the Mer was creating this dome of hers, she would potentially notice the other end of this door opening just twenty feet to her right side. A cunning play by part of their adversary; to truly turn their good intentions against each other. Taking advantage of those few short moments she had before the spear reached her, the maiden would release a strange, yet large cloud of poison gas from her body, before slipping through the portal and stepping to the side, timing it just so that the spear of energy would slip through the portal before it closed.

So in reality, what had this done? Almira--now dealing with what would likely be an unfinished charge--was most likely trapped in the sphere her Mer comrade had created with a poisonous gas. Her armor may be protecting her for now...but for how long would she be safe?

As for the Mer...well, it WAS Almira's empowered spear heading for her, after all. How would the pair respond?

• Dimension Door A
You transfer yourself from your current location to any other spot. You always arrive at exactly the spot desired—whether by simply visualizing the area or by stating direction. You can bring along objects, and may also bring one additional willing character/creature per rank (Starting from Adept, to a Maximum of 4 at Sage) In battle, you wave your hand to create a gateway made of energy and walk through it. Creating the gateway does take some time, so it is not wise to do when someone is charging at you. The gateway also opens at where you exit, and you may not exit within a 5 meter radius around the enemy. The moment you pass through the door it closes so that no others that you are not willing to bring may follow you.

[And she has a b rank attack that rapidly expels and spreads "poison gas" that infects you if it touches you. Also if she gets thirty feet away from you you can't see her in the most but she can see us. - Via Kerroni]

Almira saw the entire thing happening, the dimension door opening, the spear going into it, and even the water coming so quickly to the Mer's aid. Almira saw too, the poison gas, rife with corruption. She had mere seconds to respond as she charged forward, but act she did. Almira punched the floor, when she landed where the woman was. A burst of energy released from her body, an A rank energy burst that moved in a wave out from her own body, converting most of the forest into a form that would suit her: and obviously as a vampire that would be blood. The trees, the grass, the poison gass, all of it suddenly broke down on a fundamental level into an ocean of blood. Even the water immediately around her was corrupted and turned red. This had gotten serious for the woman. In the sky, the darkness became even more black, with that red moon still glowing in the sky. Her influence was rapidly stretching over the area, and her ability to control herself was beginning to wane. Even without her ability to see the woman, she could taste her energy in the skills she sent. It tasted... Divine... Her sense were alight now, focused even more on her prey. That... whatever it was was going to feed Almira, join the well of souls within her.

In the very moment the spear was clear of the portal, it halted entirely. It was a good ploy to turn her skill in the favor of the plagued one, but precise control and reflexes saved her friend the trouble of even having to move. The energy that she could see through the mist was... nothing. She couldn't tell where she had went, but she had been able to tell when Naeal ran. On awhim, she moved swiftly through the two feet of blood around her knees unabated in her black gown, trying to approach the direction that she was, and towards her spear. She snapped her fingers, and the spear transformed into a bear, placing itself between Naeal and the Plagued one. The moment Almira was within sightrange of the two, she stopped in the blood, sloshing the blood. The travel time was on the order of just a few moments, and now that she was there she narrowed her eyes at the sight of the woman. She exhaled, whispering an incantation that she, as a knight, shouldn't be able to know. She raised into the air, a shadowy flare pushing from her feet to put her in the air. Oroborous below, in the blood, claimed the shadows that her warden released into himself and bided his time, waiting until given a signal. "Naeal, stay close to me. This thing is going to prove itself to be quite the problem... but I can protect you." she said to her, quiet enough for her to hear as she arrived beside her in the air. She exhaled, realizing her target was going to be even more annoying to clear away with the skillset it was showing itself to have.

                                            • Every knight has the ability to ignore pain in battle, even ignoring the pain of severed limbs for a certain amount of time.

                                            • Sunder: If using an attack and the opponent conjures up a barrier, the user may shatter the defense if it is two ranks below them. If the barrier is one rank below them, they can stagger the opponent with just sheer force, causing them to be so distracted with their next post that only one skill can be used.

                                            • Blood at Dusk: Passively blots out the sun and moon whenever combat begins. As combat progresses, darkness begins to reign from the black orb, stretching across the sky as if a visibly corrupted night was poisoning the sky. At the same time, the black orb slowly becomes stained more and more red. After five posts, the entire sky becomes an eerie black, and the bloodmoon glows a bright red in the sky. This not only cancels any annoyance caused by the sun in combat, but it allows her to project her shadow magic from the murky darkness in the sky. After the five post timer completes, a separate resource bar called the Berserk meter begins to fill itself as well. Each post in combat, attack used, and/or attack sustained adds 10 points to the bar, which has a maximum of 100, and upon filling Almira gains a temporary +1 to her potency, but loses any form of friend or foe identification. It also augments her skills used from the subclass, but only lasts for 4 posts. Afterwards, she cannot enter the berserk state for another 4 posts.

                                        Technique

                                            • Black Gown [ A ] [Still Active]
A skill to aid in her melee prowess, Almira can absorb nearby shadows that crawl up her body, forming an all black dress like like a thick mist that ignores lower attacks, rendering them null against it. This armor lasts until it is consumed by an attack of equal rank (or higher, which ignore the damage reduction entirely) and can be manipulated by Almira, or combo'd into other skills at any time. During Berserk state, this skill is activated automatically.

                                            • Invocation: Propulsion [V]
A caster can fly almost as fluidly as something with wings though turning is more difficult as their control is not as potent. This needs only to be activated once for it to last until the mage turns it off. They propel flames from their limbs, using them like jets to rocket them around at high speeds.
