XXXLUKHAN, Pleasure and Pain

        One of the most eccentric of all Gods. Lukhan was the first Desire Demon, the father of all his kind. While desire demons tend to prey simply on pleasure, this man revels in the opposite side of the coin. If you can't tell by now, he is a complete sadist. While simple sex can entertain him greatly, he can't call it complete without suffering and humiliation. He takes on the form of a nude man, with a chained collar, spikes, thorns and a scorpion's tail. His skin is torn in some places, which causes him constant searing pain all throughout his body. There are scars all across him, each with a story and a lover attached; Lilith scraped down his arm with her nails, Azor bit a chunk off his leg. Any but the Desire Demons simply can't try to understand him, even the other demons in hell. To them, he is everything they ever dreamt; the violence inside of them, the desire, the freedom to enjoy whatever the hell they please.

        His greatest pride, which was brought about by his greatest sexual venture, is the Incubus, and often the Succubus (if they align more with him). He enjoys the concept of a mortal representation of pleasure; many little demons wandering through the world, enforcing his will. Often times they murder men and women once they are done with them, and bring pain and fear into their lives. He watches eagerly, his mouth salivating with every little thing that they do. Because of this, you could consider him far more attached to the mortal world than most Gods. He, in fact, prefers the mortal world over Hell. The pain and pleasure there is real, and means something. It can produce offspring or provide disease, it is not simply a quick spin in the hay. Which means that attracting his attention isn't hard, though keeping it can be.

        XXXAttracting his attention
        Admittedly, many mortals catch Lukhan's eyes. It is not easy to do so, however. Simply being attractive or good in the sack isn't really what he enjoys. He likes people who are truly pioneers at their craft, whether in pleasure, pain or something more. He enjoys people who wish to completely consolidate the desire of another, as he so often does himself. However, he can quickly get bored of people. Usually, if someone shines brightly enough, he will take on a mortal vessel, stalk them and either have sex with them with their consent or without. From that point on, he tends to just forget about them. He has never really had a champion, not even his own son, Eklopyter. It is unknown what would truly set him off, and manage to lock his focus onto someone. Many who worship him spend their whole lives trying to find out.

        XMARK 1
        From his conception through Makath's hands, and Kala's energy, until now... Lukhan has always been exceptionally talented in one area: the mind. He has been able to project his mind into almost everything, though Makath was actually entirely unsure in what direction this power would develop. You can say that when the great progenitors of the demons were first conceived, they were sort of like young children experimenting and growing to suit their tastes. Lukhan was the first of Makath's demons, though it wasn't until much later when he realized just what it was that he wanted. It took interaction, with others and with his own thoughts, to realize that he loved the minds that he could read and he relished in the pleasure and anguish that others could bring him. In a way, this makes him benevolent, as he believes that at the core, creation itself is magnificent and diverse.

        His powers developed as he developed, and when Kala designated him as the Facet of Desire, also known as the first Desire Demon, they developed even further until a stop. He had become exceptionally strong, moreso than essentially every demon save for Makath. And they both had one thing in common: psychosis, for them, an ability to manipulate matter with their mind. This is the power that is passed on from Lukhan to his champion, and in many different forms.

        xxxMark One Passive: The Pieces
        As a host of Lukhan's power, some of his abilities exist within you. This first passive will enable for the building blocks of the rest of his skills, and will develop over time, until it becomes incredibly powerful at the fourth stage.

        This passive allows the alteration of the physical world via the mind. First of all, this passive greatly strengthens the mind, which enables for a champion of Lukhan to freely assert their mental will over things without concentration. They will be in a permanent, strange state where the world around them simply shifts based on their desire. This can be subtly noticed if they're more open with this ability, though many tend to very discreetly use it.

        Some uses for this:
        1 - You can lift small objects that are not physically touching an enemy, or physically touching something that the enemy is physically touching (so on and so forth). These objects cannot exceed 15 lbs. They can be levitated and thrown with gusto, meaning that someone marked by Lukhan is essentially a masterful improvised fighter who can constantly sling projectiles at opponents. However, at this stage, only three objects can be lifted at a time.
        Note that as your mark develops, this power will not develop. As Lukhan developed, he shifted his focus away from manipulating physical objects, and instead manipulating people.
        2 - You can coat your physical or magical attacks with some degree of extra force, though not to the extent that a djinn might be able to. This is psychic rather than kinetic, so essentially you're blasting someone with a brain wave upon impact.
        3 - You can begin to read thoughts, but only during a moment of great upheaval for someone. If someone is very upset, or in a state of immense desire for example, you'll notice. You'll feel it, and you'll understand it.

        xxxThe Skills
        There are no skills at this stage.

        xxxThe Appearance
        The mark is a dynamic, intricate tattoo, though it is more advanced than just that. It manifests in the form of the wielder's greatest desire, whether it be a person, an ambition or a specific sexual kink. It tends to develop on a place that would regularly be unseen, only noticed when the wielder is... exposed. The mark, like most demon marks, is literally alive. Based on what the wielder is feeling, it will react differently. In moments of pain, it will be covered in thick thorns and radiate a glowing red color. In moments of pleasure, it will radiate orange and aesthetically be "set ablaze".

        XMARK 2
        Someone particularly loved by Lukhan can obtain the second mark. This mark is based on what is surely the greatest development in Lukhan's lifespan: the focus on organics rather than synthetics for his psychic abilities. He learned how to seduce and bring immense pleasure and pain to others when he advanced this far. During this time period, he used the other demons and the humans of Axiom like test experiments to assert his will upon, and he discovered his immense attraction to pain and the macabre during these experiments.

        xxxMark Two Passive: The Board
        To further develop the first stage of his passive, Lukhan's psychic abilities gained a very specific usage at this stage. They focused solely on interacting with organics, and using their biology as well as spiritual features as the conduit for his manipulation. These changes can be described in the next section-

        Some uses for this:
        1 - You can begin to lift organics, though this requires hand gestures and some degree of focus, as opposed to simply flinging them around with your mind. This will be elaborated upon in the skills of this stage.
        2 - You can enhance abilities and actions, naturally, with pleasure and pain. Even small attacks can inflict debilitating amounts of physical pain, and physical contact can also be enhanced to bring about immense pleasure. This helps with sabotaging an opponent's fighting chance, whether by means of seduction or destruction. You can also naturally begin to target a specific person and augment their exposure to pleasure and pain. This can only be done to one person at any time, but will remain on them until you lift it. It will only end that way, not even if you die or are very far away. The augmentation is not that strong, however, but it is noticeable.
        3 - You can begin to read thoughts at the forefront of someone's mind. If you're willing to lose your focus, you can even go deeper and begin to read into them a bit, discovering some information as long as it's still relevant to their lives. This feels much like being completely invested into a scene, being absorbed into it and simply being able to watch it unfold. It's a very bizarre, but enjoyable experience for one of Lukhan's faithful.

        xxxThe Skills

        Flesh to Flesh C
        An ability triggered by physical combat. With this, you can immediately enforce your psychic ability on the other and begin to levitate them. With this active, they will be entirely incapable of controlling their own movement, which is often game-set-match in a fight. This can last for up to three posts. They can still move their arms and legs and use abilities, they just can't control their positioning.

        Force to Flesh B
        The same ability as flesh to flesh, but by instead raising your hand with a gesture and releasing an only sparingly visible wave of energy towards the target. It moves incredibly fast, and is almost unavoidable in close quarters.

        Extremes B
        This is an ability to intensely modify a target's vulnerability to pain and pleasure. While this is in use, no other psychic/telekinetic abilities may be activated. It will intensify the reaction to literally every sort of feeling, magnifying it by ten fold. A simple slap can feel like literally getting crushed by a sledgehammer. It will also make the body naturally react to this feeling, perhaps by flinching or recoiling or simply tightening up to the point of immobility. Generally that isn't necessary though, as there is virtually no one (except for perhaps extremely advanced berserkers) who can stomach the degree of pain that this can very easily bring.

        + 1 speed, +2 strength (passively)
        2000 additional energy when using the mark
        + 1 resistance to damage from attacks (you can lessen the impact with your psychic ability)

        XMARK 3
        At this stage, you have begun to receive a large quantity of Lukhan's power. He has invested himself into you, and as a result, your dynamic with him has begun to change. He will begin to visit you often, whether in person or in dreams, or in your room, even just in ordinary life. You might see your vase move, a subtle reminder that he's there. Or he could manipulate a brush, and paint some words on your wall. He'll interact with you in many ways, laugh with you and feel pleasure with you, he'll watch you in your weakest moments while you're cringing and crying. He becomes a lifelong companion, one that is always with you in at least one form.

        When the going gets tough, he'll be there, and he'll be more real and direct than any angel. Lukhan will be your quite vocal guide as life continues on.

        This mark also introduces you to a new form of Lukhan's power: it manifests within his 'artifact', a weapon of his. He will ask his faithful to choose between one of two artifacts: the belt or the collar. Once they make this choice, their dynamic with Lukhan will be set in stone, and they will never be able to go back on it. If you choose the belt, then not only will you gain its abilities, but Lukhan's view of you and his interaction with you will change. He will "respect" you more, see you as more of an equal and a warrior. If you choose the collar, then you choose to be his, dedicate yourself to him. When you are his, you are his. He will treat you very fondly and gently, as he would someone very important to him.

        Either way, his heart is yours.

        xxxThe Collar
        The collar is a weapon of Lukhan's that provides protection. It is a leather strap to go around your neck, one that cannot be taken off. Ever. It is virtually indestructible and impossible to remove. It does not ever choke or strangle you, as it adjusts to your current situation.

        As I said, it focuses on providing protection, opposite of the belt. The collar may reduce all damage to the marked on top of the current reduction. It also has one very special, powerful ability.

        Pleasure S
        This is one of the strongest skills within the mark, alongside Pain. It prevents the opponent from using any harmful abilities at all for the next three posts. It can be used twice in one fight, but that is all. They can still use evasion, protection and healing spells.


        xxxThe Belt
        This weapon takes the form of a belt, one that can be worn casually, and then infinitely extended (much like Pride's chain). It is indestructible, and immensely strong. Impact with the belt can break bones easily, and it is so incredibly painful that some people have literally died from the impact. It feels akin to having your all of your skin ripped off in one instant.

        All direct impact damage, if you chose the belt, is increased in power by one rank. By direct impact I mean an attack that has already made contact with the opponent. It also has one very powerful skill:

        Pain S
        Similar but opposite to "Pleasure". It disables an opponent from using any defensive, evasive or healing abilities for a duration of three posts. It can be used only twice in one fight. It does not stop an opponent from buffing themselves, so skills like haste are still possible, despite them obviously being meant for evasion.

        xxxMark Three Passive: The Gambit
        Going in the same direction, Lukhan's abilities simply developed, instead of changing. They focused on generally the same premise. However, there are some changes from mark two to three.

        Some uses for this:
        1 - You can begin to amplify, focus, and direct your psychic powers into very obviously offensive/defensive abilities.
        2 - You can naturally begin to make your opponent feel forms of pleasure and pain, instead of just augmenting other experiences. You can make them shudder with elation, or grimace with nausea. It's very easy for you to do this, too.
        3 - During relaxed moments, you can completely read someone's mind, going deep into their thoughts and their emotions. However, during combat where both of your minds are more muddled, you can only read the forefront of their mind, still.

        xxxThe Skills

        The Exchange No Cost
        This allows the mark-wielder to convert pleasure into pain, and pain into pleasure, simply by will.

        Waves C-SS
        Focusing your mind, you unleash a slew of brainwaves that travel forward and look much like massive rings of energy. They come straight from you, and move in whichever direction you desire. These 'waves' will persist for two posts, and if even one manages to make contact with the opponent, they will be immobilized and your ability will shift into full gears. You will also be immobilized while doing this.

        Your waves will begin to condense and crash against their body, damaging them heavily on each impact, depending on the rank. At C rank, the result of the impacts will probably be enough to break several bones. At B rank, you could take some serious damage; it could destroy their ribcage, severely bruise and beat on their muscles. At A rank, it will begin to damage their internal organs, very easily killing them if they're not given emergency care. At S rank, it will obliterate an organic body. At SS rank, it can even begin to obliterate high ranked mechanical creations, as well as even the most sturdy of monster's bodies.

        Kneel C-SS
        An ability that forces the mark-wielder to kneel, which then fades out their appearance until they appear as simply a white silhouette. Psychic energy surrounds their body, and attacks of any magnitude cannot enter within ten feet of them (unless they are of higher rank). Other people cannot enter within ten feet of them no matter what, nor can monsters. This can last as long as the mark-wielder desires it to. It dispels any glyphs or traps from the surrounding area, and when it is released, it unleashes a massive wave of psychic force outwards, damaging enemies within thirty feet based on the rank of energy used on this skill.

        Viper's Tail S
        An offensive ability based on the manifestation of pure energy. Viper's tail is a homing beam of purple, condensed, and immensely destructive energy. It is exceptionally large, and the beam reaches to a length of one kilometer. It follows a specific target, and increases in speed and velocity depending on the amount of pain or pleasure that target is feeling. It is exceptionally hard to destroy the viper's tail, as you must destroy the core of the beam to stop it completely, which is near the mark-wielder's chest. It persists as long as they desire, and need only occupy one hand to continue using. The beam can also be split to follow multiple opponents, if multiple are feeling pleasure/pain to some degree.

        + 1 resistance to damage from attacks (you can lessen the impact with your psychic ability)

        XMARK 4
        Things have changed. You are no longer just a pawn, not just a friend, not just a mark-wielder. You are Lukhan's right hand, his left testicle, his companion for life, his lover and his champion. You are his agent, born and made to spread his influence through the world. You are meant to shake the foundations of society, and show them that there are only two routes that mean anything: the road to pleasure, and the road to pain. Lukhan will protect you, which enables for the final ability and the chief empowerment that comes with the fourth mark. You may be his vessel. In fact, you often will be. There will eventually be little difference between you and him, your will and his. You will emulate him into yourself, and come out a very different person.

        When Lukhan inhabits your body, your physical appearance will change in a few subtle ways. First of all, a second mark will appear. It will appear atop or alongside the first, with one taking on the 'pleasured' appearance and one the 'pained' appearance. You will seemingly appear healthier and more vibrant. Tattoos will appear over your body, red ones with intricate tribal-like designs. If Lukhan inhabits you often, you will begin to permanently take on these features. You will also naturally begin to radiate a strange... energy. One that makes you incredibly noticeable, one that seems to confuse and disorient people who are not used to you. You will be something great to them, but unexplained, difficult to understand. It will draw them to you and also keep them away. Like with everything else in Lukhan's artillery, he enjoys the opposite of two sides. He enjoys desire and repulsion, pleasure and pain, love and hate. One who has become his vessel often will begin to notice an extreme of both in their lives, as if the world around them was being changed drastically. They will live in a drama, but one that brings them a constant feeling of elation.

        xxxThe Skills
        As a default, this mark only possesses one unique skill. The rest will grow and come to the mark-wielder in time, as their dynamic with Lukhan evolves (submit them as customs).

        The Empire of the Body No Cost
        When Lukhan inhabits you, your mark abilities are increased in effectiveness by a rank. However, this is simply the most obvious benefit that comes from his entry of your body. You will be restored to full health (but not energy), you will feel incredibly empowered, and for the first three posts after he inhabits you, you will gain a +1 point in both stats as a sort of blood rush. Obviously this is not to be exploited, Lukhan wouldn't constantly enter/leave your body to help you min-max.

        He also enables the wielder to use either all of an Incubi's or Succubi's skills, their choice.

XXXANTONY, Love and Bravery

        Antony is not exactly the cupid of the Axiom world, but rather a distinct rendition of love, beauty and adventure itself. Much like Daniel, he is an embodiment of Michael's human-like dreams, and he is one of the oldest and most powerful angels around. Because of his long lifespan however, he has dealt with his fair share of conflict. When he was younger, and when the angels were still free to roam and enjoy the world, he had many friends and lovers. He'd mess around with the barmaids and farm hands, sing and dance by the bonfire and love life. He was popular, immensely so. He was celebrated alongside his brother, Ezekiel, the two of them bringing light to the life of the city that was then known as Fraxen. Even as things seemed so perfect however, something greatly spiteful grew inside of Ezekiel. He became so jealous of his brother, who was powerful and talented and beloved. He was everything that anyone could ever dream of, whereas Zeke was just... nothing. He was there, he was something, but he was just another angel. He didn't have the same spark that Antony had, and because of that he grew so incredibly twisted.

        He sparked, but in a different way. He grew into a malevolent creature, the only one of his kind within the angelic order. He was so twisted and macabre that the other angels quickly grew afraid for him, and they even asked Michael to cure him of his affliction. But he could not.

        He was corrupted by Kala's energy, but no one knew that at the time. Eventually though, he had been changed into something completely different -- a fallen angel. At that moment, Antony knew what he had to do, even though it was hard. His mentality at that point was altered, he started to think of the world as a quest rather than a source of love and joy. He realized then, that the universe itself was beginning to change. He killed Ezekiel, and when he looked to the north beyond Fronta, he could see Vaet Nocturnum slowly start to rise . . .

        XXXAttracting his attention
        Antony loves the basest things a man could enjoy. Adventure, romance, fighting; things that get the blood pumping. He enjoys art and all the beauties of life. Anyone who possesses an immense attachment to their more primitive desires, while still possessing a strong grasp on civilization and artistic advancement, can surely gain his favor. He values strength as well. While no one of Axiom can rival the strength of an angel, and few can rival a demon, those who are exceptionally strong amongst the others of their kind will find themselves in his sights.

        XMARK 1
        As he was growing, developing, Antony was quite a fighter. Like many angels he tried his hand at arena battles, and while he wasn't Zachariah in strength or fortitude, he was certainly a competitor. Even Solaris can recall her sword falling from her hands, and her body collapsing to the floor, the crowd screaming Antony's name. He was one of the best, and all because of his incredibly specific fighting style. One that not only protected him greatly against other angels, and generally all forms of magic, but one that gave him an immense amount of physical power. Antony possessed something unique to him -- a shoulder plate with a peculiar ability, known as Fraternity.

        This large piece of equipment did not only consistently ward against magical power, covering his body in a thick layer of energy, but it allowed him to channel and generate an immense amount of angelic energy, directing it to literally any part of his body. He could quite literally bite someone's head off because of this, or punch someone's shield into fifty pieces, so on and so forth. To glorify it, it released a wave of feathers and golden light whenever its effects were used, whether defensively or offensively.

        xxxFraternity
        This armor develops as the mark develops. It begins simply as a leather strap, connecting a shoulderpad to the mark-wielder's body. It is not quite as fancy or powerful as Antony's, but it still has its uses. This will rarely be taken off by the mark-wielder, and there is really no reason to, as it is made to feel completely weightless and comfortable. While it is equipped, it offers the mark-wielder a bonus; a field of energy that can be used to attack or defend against magic, one that recharges fifty energy worth of power every post. The field is not visible or noticeable until it has been triggered, in which case it will look like an almost technological, thin layer of clear-gold armor.

        xxLove E-A
        The base of fraternity's defensive ability. It condenses the layer of energy around you, quite instantly, to a miniature armor-like barrier that follows your body and will protect you from attacks. When it is not being attacked or has not been attacked for five seconds, it will become invisible so as to remain unnoticed. It defends against all magic in the same way, and is not particularly considered "holy".

        xxBravery E-A
        Unlike "love", this ability does have holy properties. Bravery is a manifestation of power on a body part, usually the arms and legs. It will damage the enemy accordingly with its rank, and can also destroy abilities if they are condensed enough. Taking a punch from bravery can burn and dehydrate foes, and easily nauseate them. It is known to be extremely painful to be struck by this ability. At higher ranks (A and beyond), the impact will cause a burst of holy flame to spread and damage the opponent. This burst only grows larger and more violent as the mark-wielder asserts more energy into the blow.

        xxxMark One Passive: Liberte
        Considering Antony is a brawler who focuses on close-quarters melee combat, his major abilities that are passed on to his mark-wielders are, as follows:
        1 - Stone hard skin. This allows him to take punches and often even be struck with weaponry without taking damage. It can even cause enemies that physically strike him to face recoil, especially in the case of punches and kicks.
        2 - You can share your emotions with others. Antony often does this to invigorate allies, to bring joy and harmony into people's psyche. This was what made him so beloved by the humans, alongside his other talents. His mark-wielder also naturally begins to change to become more inclined to love, bravery, peace and fulfillment.
        3 - Like many angels, Antony can sense evil. His mark-wielder naturally has the ability to read the energy of demonic creatures, as well as malevolent creatures in general. He, more than any of his peers, was flawless in this practice. He noticed Kala's emergence only momentarily after Michael did, with Michael being omniscient. As you gain more marks, this ability will become more abundantly useful. For now, it only works within one thread.

        xxxThe Skills
        There are no skills at this stage (other than love and bravery).

        xxxThe Appearance
        The mark is a number, situated on an emblem of honor. It will be like a circular badge, usually atop fraternity, the shoulderplate. It radiates a glowing blue flame, and can be spun simply for aesthetic purposes. The number is based on what mark you possess - you begin at IV, then III, II, and finally I at mark four. It is usually golden in color, though it tends to camouflage with its surrounding colors. There are tiny, aesthetic, copper-seeming wings raising out from the mark on each side. They flutter aggressively with increasing emotion.

        xxxThe Statistics

        +1 rank of protection against skills and attacks (stone hard skin)
        1000 additional energy when using the mark

XXXCATHERINE, the Undead, Malediction INDEPENDENT

        When the people of Kenai engaged in the genocide of the human race, when that same genocide resulted in the death of twenty million people... that is when this demon was first born. All of the tormented souls screaming in agony, having watched their friends and family die... all of those souls desperately seeking revenge... they sung to her; she was a light in the darkness, one that had been awoken by their terror. As a result, she harnessed their power, and ripped their souls away from heaven. These twenty million men and women became a part of her, her eternal brazier, her source of energy. She was molded into flesh and blood by them all, and for all time afterwards she sought to remedy their pain. Inside of her, twenty million souls sing all the time. They sing her choir, songs of death and dread. She answers their voices by feeding them more souls, often times beast folk that they may devour and integrate into themselves. She is a different kind of afterlife, a wild hunt where the people fight for her pleasure for all eternity. And from her existence came a new craft, as well.

        Necromancy, the ability to revive the dead that come to exist within her stream of souls. Necromancers tap into her energy, each of them invading her body and taking as they please. She is their matron, their life blood. With them, she quickly grows in power, a demon beneath Kala that wishes to devour all.

        XXXAttracting her attention
        Catherine is interested in the truly wretched, ones with an obsession with death. Ones who feed souls to the afterlife, the other worlds. Ones who kill beautifully and because they want to, not for a cause. In this regard, she is much like Cayene. What separates them is that her ambition is not to empower Makath, but to empower herself. And she does not care for betrayal and sacrifice, or vengeance or anything. Only the act of death, and the way in which it is committed.

        XMARK 1
        The true champion of the dead, and the patron saint of all those who dabble in it, Catherine has always rewarded those who further her power with boosts to their own in kind. Like her, whenever her chosen champions take a life they take their very essence and energy and add it to themselves. Copying is the best form of flattery and in her eyes, this rings especially true. Her entire growth relies on death so in order to be both worshiped and strengthened she blesses her followers with the power to ensnare parts of their victims as they are sentenced to Catherine's undying embrace. With the wild hunt growing with every death in the world, she grants its power to her champions in direct and indirect ways.

        What she does in combat is, rather than dirty her own hands, bring the souls of the many she has been given to fight for her. This is why she relies on murderers and makes them her vessels. She is similar to a necromancer in this right, though it is more accurate to say the necromancers are like her. Unlike a mere necromancer, she doesn't just raise dead souls from the ground. No she tears a hole between our world and the wild hunt within herself, allowing the dead to flow freely into the world as she wills it. Any monster, demon, human or angel who has died is at her fingertips, and come to her aid as she commands them to. Once the time has passed, the souls returns to the abyss from which they were called.

        xxxMark One Passive: Embrace
        Much like the mother of death, the bearer of Catherine's mark will be empowered by inflicting the best form of crowd control: death. Killing an RPC, no matter how, will grant the vessel a boost to his overall energy as long as they are in her service. This is a mere fifty point bonus at this point, however. In addition, the soul of the deceased is absorbed and locked within Catherine, preventing reanimation. The connection to her allows her chosen to sense death and also life in equal power. This allows them to sense the energy around them, making hiding from them difficult. This, specifically and in plain terms, allows you to sense the general direction of someone but not finitely where they are. Finally, the bearer of this mark will regenerate damage dealt to them slowly, but as more souls are captured the process is sped up.

        xxxThe Skills

        Soul Shackle Passive
        Whenever an RPC, or a creature of at least B rank dies around the user, their soul is absorbed partially by the Mark bearer, and the rest by Catherine. This is the skill that prevents reanimation, keeping their soul trapped in eternity unless it is somehow released. Any attempt to rez a Shackled RPC simply results in a zombie of their power raising and going on a rampage, using their skills even to harm anything near them. Should they manage to kill someone before being taken down/banished they will also go to the mark weilder as a souls shakcled to them. By paying a cost one rank lower than their rank, the user can summon the spirit for two posts, where it can attack as if it were physical with it's original stats, using up to one skill per rank equal to the Mark weilders rank for free. (This means only up to S rank skills can be used.)

        Ghoul Chant D
        Similar to necromancer spells, this spell calls a number of undead up to 50 that rush forward mindlessly towards any living thing with the intent of devouring them to gain their power. They are of average human speed and strength, though if more than one grabs you even the mightiest will fall. They are easily destroyed, however, and tend to move without thinking.


        xxxThe Appearance
        The mark of Catherine at it's first stage has an intricate but simple design. It is a pair of Chrysanthemums tied around what appears to be the body of a woman. The Mark is large, stretched down the back of the mark wielder but it is quite thin still. In times where death is in bloom, the flowers on the Mark bloom and turn violet and blue. The stems twisting around the woman also glow an erie green, and the woman herself seems to rot into a skeleton.

        XMARK 2
        Once Catherine begins to favor you above her other chosen you will start to notice that your powers develop in a way that brings you closer to the loving embrace of your deathly matron. As she is a demon born of death and made of it, so too will you begin to be. The numerous screams and souls of the dead resonate within any who would read your mind, confusing your thoughts with theirs though not completely making you immune. It simply makes it harder. She also allows you to summon more powerful undead, and raising the number of them summoned over all. She will speak to you in the many voices of her dead chorus, telling you stories of those caught within the hunt, regaling you with epics of dead warriors slain. She will mold you to kill in her name and, if you received her mark, you will like it.

        xxxMark Two Passive: Mortality
        At this level, the creatures and rpcs summoned by you are empowered, gaining the strength the wild hunt has bestowed upon them, and also granting you some of these gifts as well. Their stats increase by one point, which may not seem like much until you realize that every one of them recieves this buff. It also makes your undead calls far more potent increasing the amount summoned by 25%. This means that if you are a necromancer you will summon a fourth more when you summon more than one thing i.e. a group of undead or skeletons. Does not work on unique undead summons or anything other than undead things summoned. Only Catherine's gifts can be strengthened.

        Fear of Death A
        With only the sound of a groan, a roar, a raspy moan or even a shriek the bearer of the mark will inflict visions of death that make the unlucky target begin to feel a paralyzing force amost grasping at them. They will become keenly aware of how their existence after death will play out, in an instant seeing an eternity of the wild hunt. Once that second is over they will be shaken unless they are immune to the effects of attacks somehow. Even a knight would be off his game. In addition to the psychological trauma of seeing yourself hunting and being hunted across years the sheer confusion mentally exhausts you, making your skills cost 1.5x more for three posts afterwards.

        The Damned Vanguard S
        From the open mouth of her vessel, the wild hunt will free a few souls, around six, that will raise six powerful undead, strong champions of generations past who will fight on your behalf. They have superior stats to the lesser hell spawn, coming in at 7/7 and each one can have a style for which they do not have to pay to use, even if it requires energy. They also have a class, though they cannot use a skill. Only the passives, within reason. No matter what, they are only 7/7 however, regardless of what race they are or their class.

        The mother of death now fully sees you, no recognizes you, as one who partakes in the most powerful expression of beauty; death. More and more often you will find things that seem natural but are actually expressions of her attention on you. Birds will fall from the sky, deer will jump into traffic before your very eyes. Where you go, things will die. It is simply her way of making you aware that her eyes and attention are upon you. She will, sometimes, come to you herself, often times in a situation where death has been in bloom recently. She will treat you like a mother would her favorite child. She will give you gifts in the form of pieces of creatures she has seen slain by her other children. It is also at that point that you receive the most important weapon she can give to you: The Black Cauldron

XXXSOLONOR, the Sun, Agriculture, and Healing

        Solonor has always been a duty-bound angel. However, unlike many angels, she is duty-bound to the task encoded into her, rather than the one who encoded the task. She cares not for angels or demons, only the sun and the life that it allows the planet. Like Justor, she is the magical force that empowers the sun. However, because the sun is such a monstrosity, it takes all of her power to keep it running, whereas Justor can also control tides, fertility, and other areas of life. She relies purely on the light, which provides people with food and health. When the order in heaven was nearly destroyed by Justor's potential rebellion, she planted the seed of an eternal friendship, where they would both co-exist in love and harmony. Every now and then, this co-existence allows for a solar eclipse, where the two intertwine and meet. During this time, activity on Axiom fades with its source of light, though things return to normal very quickly.

        Solonor is more of a hard thinker than Justor, and does not resent the actions of Michael, for she believes they were justified. From the time she was created, she has always been a very neutral creature. However, she does have her ambitions, which leads to the next section: how to get her attention.

        XXXAttracting her attention
        Solonor is a true servant of Michael, at least in one way. She wishes to root out darkness and cleanse the void. Any one who dare serve Makath or Kala is an enemy to her, and any who cleanse their heresy will draw her eye. She has never had a champion before, as there were few who could possibly combat the rise of the unholy after the fall of Kuladhan. She eagerly awaits a worthy candidate. She recently has found her first true mark bearer, a Mer named Maria who would go on to aid in the takedown of three gods herself before ascending to become one. Though, like with all tier 2 Gods, it is quite difficult to gain her favor, particularly because she puts almost all of her attention into tending to the world's sun.

        XMARK 1
        As with her counterpart and companion Justor, Solonor has complete dominion over the sun, the power of the light, and the health and growth of the planet. She, of all angels and demons besides the tier ones, has the most powerful spells regarding life, health, and defense. Angels who have seen her in combat have noted that she is one of few who could withstand powerful onslaughts of magic and close range combat with her power. As she breathes power into the sun, her vast energy can call rays of sunlight through even the darkest of places, even when the sun itself is nowhere to be seen. The champions chosen by her are known, no matter how they are on the battlefield usually, exceptionally hard to take down.

        In addition to that they are often times known as great leaders and field commanders, able to extend the power she gives to them to others in moments of inspiration and bravado. They say that cutting the head off is the best way to put down a chain of command, but when the head is protected by Solonor the entire body becomes a locomotive of power.

        xxx Bask in the Radiance
        Within each champion under Solonor is the power to heal and protect. It is the basis of her power. It is the root of everything she does. When the one who wields her mark hits the battlefield all those who are taking part in the battle become aware. It is an aura that both buffs and debuffs those in their presence. Allies will always feel fresh, collected you might say, when one chosen by her comes to their aid. Those who stand against them will be keenly aware that they are about to be matched with a power as great and strong as the sun. Further more, being on the same side as the sun-chosen can be beneficial, as they can grant you strength, durability, even speed in times of need.

        xxGuided By the Light
        This skill allows the mark wielder to transfer the power given to them by Solonar to others for as long as they choose. This can be any combination of speed and strength. When the power is allocated it gives the target a glowing aura that makes those who fear light and holy attacks off put, but it drains that much speed or strength from the mark wielder.

        xxx Faith
        This skill allows the mark wielder and his allies to physically face dangers usually greater than their own ability. Simply put, it extends a field of her energy around them that curbs incoming damage, increasing their reduction to damage of all kinds by 1.

        xxxMark One Passive: Ever Growing, Ever Strong
        Since she is mostly a supportive fighter, her most distinct abilities come in the form of healing and defense, at least at early stages. In that regard she can make and maintain a constant radiating sun down on the battlefield that illuminates everything it touches and alerts the wielder of the mark to anything touched by this light. Anything weak to sunlight itself will find it highly irritating and distracting to fight against. A champion could even, given they had the focus to do so, make illusory images appear in the light as distractions however minor.

        xxxThe Skills

        Daybreak E-SSS
        This skill causes the suns power to fold itself onto an ally or even the mark wielder and reduce incoming damage by up to a rank while negating damage below that rank by 2 completely. After two posts, or after it has been hit by an attack at least of it's rank the shield bursts, harming the eyes of anything within ten feet by blinding them for two posts, even through closed eyes, and causing a glare in the eyes of anything farther away for that duration depending on weather or not they were looking at them.

        Heal B
        Even the most powerful and hardy of allies gets harmed. When this happens this mark wielder need only touch them with the suns rays and they will be healed. This means that as long as the sunlight touches them, weather it be artificial or real, they will be able to recover from near life threatening wounds, and regain broken limbs. However, this can only affect a person once every three posts.

        Binding of Light B
        A skill that is nearly invisible as it is just condensed light, this ability fires a projectile of light from the user. If it even barely grazes an enemy they are captured in a tower of light too tall to jump through even for a dragoon, and too narrow to move more than a few feet around for two posts. Things can enter, but not exit this wall, and its projectile moves as fast as normal magic.

        Flash D
        A rather simple skill, this one allows the mark wielder to, from any point on their body, to burst with enough light to blind even closed eyes for two posts.

        xxxThe Appearance
        The Mark of Solaris is truly beautiful, and unique at the same time. It is located on the forehead, and is a radiant sun, constantly glowing bright light proudly to any and all who can see it. It looks to have been painted by a master of the craft. In times of great valor it seems to come alive, burning like the sun itself would.

        xxxMark Two Passive: The Harvest
        Since time began solonor has had perhaps the hardest and most trying job among the angels, or so her followers believe. She tirelessly works to ensure the stability of the sun, unflinchingly and without complaint. The reason we have crops to eat and light with which to see is because of her, and what is light if not a tool to illuminate and grow. The wielder of the mark, at this level, gains a set of supportive skills that work to aid allies and hinder enemies. When Solonor was observed in battle, often she would calls plants to her aid amid the sun rays she blinded her enemies with to grapple and lash out. While not her most offensive of abilities, she was quite dangerous where her energy could create life. This carries to the mark weilder who seems to bring forth gardens and accelerate the growth of plant light where the light of her mark touches.

        xxxThe Skills

        Stranglethorns. E-SSS
        Large vines from seemingly nowhere lash out from the ground and reach up to grasp at enemies and aid allies. So long as the mark wielder can see the vines they can will them into action. The vines last for three posts before needing to be reapplied, and depending on the cost they are larger and stronger and far more numerous. At E rank, perhaps only one at around the strength of a human could be made but by A rank and above dozens of vines tear up through the ground towards an enemy.

        Gift of Life. E-SSS
        By touching an ally, a single seed of energy is placed within them, and depending on the cost paid, begin to slowly grow plants from wounds on the body. It not only heals more and more based upon the energy but will also sprout vines of pure energy from the body, though the ally will not feel this as a negative feeling, that will defend and fight on their behalf. This vines will fight, lashing out with the strength of whatever energy was put into it for the between one and eight posts along with constantly healing the ally they were placed in of up to minor wounds. It will lessen the severity of a moderate or major wound over time, and depending on how early it was given MAYBE fully heal it. Cannot fully heal a lost limb or fatal wound with this, but it could prolong life until help arrives.

        Sunflower B
        A rather large plant (about thirty feet tall and as ride as a red oak. will erupt from beneath the ground within sex to ten feet yellow, needle like petals and a large yellow bulb in the center. This plant will aim itself to the liking of the mark wielder and release a sharp and bright ray of light. While it doesn't deal damage, it is far too bright for those hostile to the mark wielder to look at and while thee ray focuses on them they will be forced to avert their eyes entirely or put up something to obstruct it's view in order to stem the blinding assault. Scarier still is that it can be moved and reoriented over its five post "battery life." Being blinded by this longer than a couple of posts straight will suffer permanent sight damage. For unholy beings this happens especially fast, and the light causes moderate discomfort but no real damage.

        xxxThe Appearance
        The second level mark, in all it's rarity, adds an additional bit of radiant beauty to its bearer. Two roots crawl down over the eyes, crossing just above the eyelids and then again below the eye before winding over the cheeks and down either side of the neck, shoulders, and arms to unwind and swirl around the ring and middle fingers. It glows just as brightly, through any form of clothing as well. In extremely brave and valorous times the mark seems to whip and wave like actual, living vines, right off the sides of the body or so it seems.

      RAPHAEL, Order, Civilization, Leadership


              XMARK 1
              Raphael, for all of his life, was trained to be the best at martial combat. He was the best in Fraxon when it came to the blade and the fists. He is renowned as being one of the most prodigious Berserkers in Axiom's history, and his ascension as a Desire Demon only increased his prowess as a melee physical fighter. As such, this mark will emphasize absolute destructive power when it comes to melee combat; destroying the enemy entirely with sheer physical force that cannot be halted or suppressed.

              How does this fit him? Raphael used sheer destructive power and naval, military, and aerial superiority to defeat his foes and conquer the majority of the world. He, above all, was a General that would go into the fray - even to his lonesome - and break the enemy lines. He was a sheer force that all feared, and his legacy lives on in the mark wielder's hands.

              His weapon, Achaemedes, is a pair of demonic (impenetrable) vambraces that will effect whatever current weapon you are wielding, including your fists. Achaemedes is a tool of exceptional offensive power.

              xxxAchaemedes
              *Achaemedes makes your element lightning (this cannot be changed/replaced/removed by talent or any means), but replaces your current element unless it is one intricately tied to your BL. If it is, lightning and your BL element will merge. It may become highly volatile, static water; called "liquid lightning". It may become volcanic shock, or some other unique combination. Lightning is the name of the game.

              The first stage of Achaemedes is merely straps around the arm of the user that jolt and flare up when emotions are on the rise. However, this does not harm the user whatsoever, and instead will often offer them an adrenaline rush to wade through the thick of combat. Anyone, and in all stages of combat, who wields these vambraces will gain a +1 to the stat of their choice that goes beyond the limitation of 15. This will only increase further as you rank up.

              Furthermore, you may begin to absorb the damage of attacks as they hit you. This is not initially all that useful for those who are not enduring enough to take multiple hits, but as you increase in favor with Raphael, so too do you increase in durability.

              These are the abilities of Stage One's Achaemedes. All of Achaemedes' abilities (and the weapon itself), are considered to have the lightning attribute, and you may choose to make it Holy or Unholy lightning, as per Raphael's multilateral morality.

              xxDisc of the Thunderous Skies C-SS
              Voltage is an ability based on its exceptional mobility, as well as the speed in which it can dispatch foes. You launch an exceptionally quick disc of static lightning, larger than the average human male in size. It grows quicker with rank, and also the longer it has flown for. Its trajectory can be manipulated by the energy of the vambraces. As a bonus, you may choose to ride the lightning at any time and remove yourself from it at any time, fairly seamlessly. Impact from this disc, considering it is more like a large spinning blade of electric energy, will likely chop enemies in half if not severely shock them.
              The disc can also, interestingly enough, be held by the wielder - it will not hurt them, and can be used as a super-powerful weapon.

              xxDemonic Discharge C-SS
              This allows you to manipulate lightning to your will. All of its variants are exceptionally quick, and highly volatile. At higher ranks, this ability can be used to create storms of unforeseen magnitude, releasing waves of electric energy to wash over hordes of foes. The lightning also has the effect that it chains to enemies that are very close to one another, which is often useful in group battles and against tamers and other such things.

              Raphael is an expert at relentless pressure, while maintaining safety and security. His passives reflect that.
              1 - Like with warriors of Antony (who Raphael once championed), stone hard skin. This allows him to take punches and often even be struck with weaponry without taking damage. It can even cause enemies that physically strike him to face recoil, especially in the case of punches and kicks.
              2 - You are almost completely immune to all lightning.
              3 - Slightly increased five senses and perception.

              The Mark appears as a crown with a fiery aura, one that shifts and shudders from form to form. It emulates the sort of person you are, the actions you have made, and the path you follow. A true hero will have a golden crown lit with a white aura of faith. An exploiter and a cruel person may have a black crown with curses inscribed into its bearings. This is only the first appearance of the mark, and it develops more as you gain favor.

              +1 stat point to allocate (early note: these points don't include the ones from the weapon)
              Immunity to instant death. If one is relatively healthy and would enter a state of death or near death in a short span of time, once per battle West's power will energize you and fully regenerate you, nullifying incoming damage for a post.

              xxxAchaemedes
              At this point, Achaemedes develops to a full vambrace around one of your arms and a smaller one on the other arm. The weapon now grants you two special passives, each with the ability to greatly assist in your combat endeavors. It also now adds a +2 modifier to the stat of their choice (this applies outside of the base mark one) that continues to possibly exceed the 15 cap.

              xxObstruct Will Passive
              All abilities that impact Raphael's chosen will have a portion of their power drained. If you are hit with an ability, energy two ranks lower than the energy spent to cast it will be given to you, for a minimum of 10. This also slightly reduces impact damage.

              xxObstruct Power Passive
              By sacrificing one of your own bloodline passives, you can nullify the effects of another bloodline's passive for as long as you are willing to sacrifice your own. This only applies to one enemy.


              xxxMark Two Passives: Weston
              Raphael is an expert at relentless pressure, while maintaining safety and security. His passives reflect that.
              1 - Like with warriors of Antony (who Raphael once championed), stone hard skin. This allows him to take punches and often even be struck with weaponry without taking damage. It can even cause enemies that physically strike him to face recoil, especially in the case of punches and kicks. This is enhanced in the second stage.

              Trample Hierarchies A
              An extremely powerful ability. At Mark 4, this ability becomes passive. Otherwise, it lasts for 4 posts for each usage. Trample Hierarchies allows you to maximize your kinetic force and momentum without the regular physical limitations required. This means that you can apply as much damage to someone as if you smashed your fist against their face midair, simply by tapping them with your pinky. You can begin to run and jump as if with full momentum during only your first step. A melee combatant's wet dream.

              Pain Receiver S
              This is an ability that is very high stakes. A black rod the size of a small spear appears in your arms, and can be launched nigh-instantaneously. This ability moves at extreme speeds, with your average creature almost completely unable to perceive it as it is delivered through the air. If it manages to touch an enemy, even through armor and regardless of their sturdiness, it will penetrate them. After penetrating them it cannot be removed, no matter what they do. Even if they dismember the limb it landed in, it will merely move to a different part of their body. This receiver will constantly channel damage and pain through it, as well as multiply all outside sources of damage and pain that they take by a dramatic amount, to the point where nearly anyone can become as vulnerable as a mere human. This ability is known as a tank-killer, and with good reason.

              xxxThe Appearance
              By now, the crown has barely morphed, though now its jewels are instead images of your greatest events in life. Things that have shaped you as a creature. When a momentous occasion occurs, the mark will feel warm on your back and scribe the next entry into your metaphorical mosaic. By touching this crown, if you are someone other than the mark wielder, you can often feel emotions attached to certain events that you can't completely make out.

              By now, the mark is a tattoo of a silhouette running down your back, from below your shoulder to your waist. The silhouette is crowned, and is covered in faces within the darkness of their form. Each represents your sins, your accomplishments, your beliefs. Each face has a meaning. All of them are a part of you - your journey.

XXXURIEL, Duty and Honor

        Duty-bound by what he believes to be the right thing to do, Uriel has a staunch outlook on life on the third plane. While he understands that life is sacred, he does not believe that mortals are capable of thinking on their own. For their sakes, mortals must be governed and controlled by the gods; even if that government were to cause chaos to the land. While created by Michael, Uriel has long since defected to the side of mayhem and chaos. Formerly serving Narathos, Uriel is a first line of defense sent down to cause damage when it needs to be caused. Now he serves Elessia. He considers himself to be a necessary evil for the world, and has no objection to ending a few lives in the process.

        Uriel is renowned for his skill in combat, with tales that started with numerous clashes with other gods. His skill in combat was equal to Zachariah, though he excels at fighting multiple enemies at once. Uriel is not to be confused as a corrupt deity. In fact, many of his followers still follow him and respect his purpose.

        Uriel is typically prayed to by those who feel morally bound, incapable of enacting and fulfilling their duties. As such, knights make up his majority of followers.

        XXXAttracting his attention
        Uriel respects those who understand that hard decisions must be made for the good of mankind, and he respects even more those who are willing to carry out the hard deeds.

        XMARK 1
        Once achieved, the mark holder will be branded with a simple depiction of Uriel's sword, Dutybound. The mark is not small in any way, as the blade scales down the holder's spine, and the hilt and pommel beginning at the nape (back of neck). The initial level of the mark grants the holder access to one of Uriel's alternate swords, Dawnbringer. The sword itself is said to bring "the light of the sun" in every swing. Along with the sword, come all basic knight class skills.

        xxxMark One Passive: The Uprising
        As a host of Uriel's power, some of his abilities exist within you. This first passive will enable for the building blocks of the rest of his skills, and will develop over time, until it becomes incredibly powerful at the last stage.

        This passive allows the changing of the tone of the battle. When there is a clear gap in power due to multiple enemies, the holder is granted +1/+1 in their stats per enemy on the field, exceeding past the normal limit to reach up to 20/20.

        xxxThe Skills

        Degrade C
        By briefly raising their weapon into the air, the user begins to radiate an intense aura across the entire field. This aura starts to slowly degrade any armor on the field, and even removes a rank of damage reduction bonus given to their opponents. This skill can't take what's not there, so if their opponent has no damage reduction boosts, then this skill would only work against their armor. Three posts after using this skill, claimed armors and custom armors that protect the user's enemies are now plain. With no special bonuses for the duration of the battle.

        Rooted C Ranked
        With so many ways to try and escape combat, Uriel developed a skill of his own that he can pass down to his mark holder. By setting a ward on the entire field at the start of a battle, any flight, jumping, or teleporting is impossible. The only real way to get away is by being really fast.

        xxxThe Appearance
        The mark is a basic tattoo of Uriel's sword, dutybound, displayed going down on the holder's spine, stopping at their lower back.

        Dawnbringer is granted to the mark holder, this weapon comes with all long sword styles and a rank boost in damage with it.

        XMARK 2
        Someone particularly respected by Uriel can obtain the second mark. It is gained once the mark holder has declared their allegiance to a higher power, though this must be at least a month after they obtain the first mark. The second state of Uriel's mark opens up a new kind of fighting style for the holder. Uriel, as stated above, fights best when the odds are against him and he is outnumbered. While the people beneath him may have strength in numbers, he and his mark holder are strengthened when they are alone on their side of the battlefield.

        xxxMark Two Passive: Alone
        When there is no one there to aide you, you are instantly empowered. Taking both a rank less in damage from all skills and a boost in all of your skills in terms of power and size. When the numbers are too great, you can choose to take the stackable route. What this means is that instead of taking an immediate +1 to skill power and +1 to damage reduction, you can take +1 rank to both skill power and damage reduction for every two enemies you are facing.

        Outnumbered C
        When outnumbered, the mark holder can cast an area of effect spell that causes everyone in the area to use one rank more energy than normal for all skills

        When the enemy ratio is 2 to 1 or greater, the mark holder can create an arena made of pure energy that draws all combatants into it. With the arena only being 10m by 10m, the space is awfully limited and dangerous. In that 10m by 10m arena, a barrier ranked one rank higher than the rank of the skill is created to prevent people from leaving. It would take an attack of a higher rank to break this barrier. If the skill used to create the arena is B Ranked, then the barrier would be A Ranked, and it would take a S Ranked attack to escape.

        With the disappearance of Kala a power vacuum formed. Lilith was one of the few mortals who seized an opportunity and found herself exalted beyond any other. Already having achieved sinhood this essence of Kala multiplied her own strengths. She carved out a spot in the second plane - Hell - where she now has dominion over the depraved and truly wicked.

        XXXAttracting her attention
        Lilith abhors the boring, stoic, self righteous and do-gooders of the world. She will only take interest in those playing her favorite game. People who have lived their lives for the sake of themselves, greedy and manipulative to the point where it engulfs their very beings. The goddess pays close attention to any willing to tear down others if it meant getting a step closer to their ultimate goal. Heinous acts in her name draw attention, though keeping it is a much harder goal. Through her mortal life she served Lukhan, doing everything in his name. Now she wants to see someone do the cruelest things in her name all for the chance of being granted her favor. Anyone willing to perform even the most taboo acts in life in order to make their name go down in history catches her eye.

        Throughout life Lilith was masterful at finding one's greatest desires and bringing them to light. More often than not their desires were basic; a chance to see her bare flesh lain before them and the likes. Pleasure was an art form that she perfected. Each man or woman to come to her was given a gift they could never forget, and then they paid a hefty price. Pain was always dealt in equal measure. It became an art form for her, a game of manipulation. The first mark is centered around lying and the power of suggestion.

        xxxMark One Passive: The Game
        Those marked by Lilith will passively have the ability to understand the base desires of a person they spend time around. The target doesn't have to be willing, this is akin to mind reading. At this level they can only glean the most primal drives that push a person to act on their will. You are instantly aware when they are lying, and people will believe the words you say so long as they are not wildly improbable or impossible.

        • Obey D-SS
        A command or suggestion can be given by the marked. With their words laced in power to a single victim they will have this notion implanted in their head. The more energy put in to a command the more likely it is to happen. The strength needed for a command to be carried out corresponds to the strength of the character. Starting at C for a Novice, and SS for a Sage. A command at the same rank can be resisted at great cost. A command a rank over will be nearly impossible to resist and a command two ranks higher cannot be ignored.

        xxxThe Appearance
        The first mark appears to be bad bruises marking the wrist, ankles, and neck of the marked. They are ever present and cannot be healed away.

        Later in life Lilith became infatuated with making people her puppets. The number of thralls she created grew and grew with each day. Some were captured with the succubus dance, others through her ministrations. All were obedient and all worshiped her. This portion of the mark forces on something similar to the incubi/sucubi power of seduction. It's about making people the pieces to your little game.

        xxxMark Two Passive: The Pieces
        The marked one will constantly exude an aura that makes others become infatuated with them. People exposed to their presence will feel in awe at their power or beauty or talent. Every word the marked one says comes out as undeniable truths. Anyone at the same rank of the marked one will feel great respect towards them. Anyone below them will deeply admire and two ranks apart will have them completely. People above the rank of the marked one will feel inclined to acknowledge their achievements and presence. All these effect no matter the disposition of the person to the marked one.

        • Pawns -
        Anyone has been caught up in the aura of the marked one will act as a conduit for this very power. In any interactions with other people they will be unable to stop themselves from praising the marked one. This will cause that energy that initially infected them to spread to those nearby. Soon enough they would become exactly how the first was. This skill can be activated for the cost of whoever it is that is being used to spread this effect.

        xxxThe Appearance
        The bruises have turned in to wounds that make it seem that the marked one has been freshly and very tightly bound for hours on end.

        + Access to Lilith's personal fire style, regardless of restrictions imposed from anything.

        XMARK 3
        It is impossible to climb the ladder in the world without knocking others off their pegs. Lilith became acutely interested in how every single being in this plane received countless buffs and debuffs based on their lineage, choice of fighting style and so on. Those were what made her enemies challenging. At their base most creatures can be easily over powered and therefore destroyed and removed as obstacles.

        xxxMark Three Passive: The Adjudicator
        The marked one, whenever near another person, will immediately and instantly know what boons they receive and where they come from. Through a similar manner in how their aura works they essentially block that person from accessing their buffs. Damage bonuses, Damage reductions, passive healings, sensing, etc. All of these are blocked. For each post spent in the vicinity of the marked one a target will lose 1 buff. The marked one can choose which buff is removed.

        • Denial S
        By paying S level energy the marked one can permanently banish a buff they have removed for the duration of the fight. This has to be paid per buff dismissed. When it is determined the battle is over then the buffs return.

        The very wounds they have held this entire time now appear to be flayed. They are raw, bloodied, and constantly irritated.

XXXALISTAIR, Contracts and Flames

        Starting from nothing, Alistair fought and earned everything he had. Earlier in life, Alistair was defeated in combat and killed. With the Great Resurrection, he was brought back. His defeat would spark something inside of him; a primal power. This power would take him to depths few have traveled before. With the help of Catherine, Alistair is being funneled souls of the dead to further empower him as King of Hell. Prior to his ascension, Alistair was known globally for his defeat of the Demon King who usurped his throne, and for his devastating abilities in combat. In and out of combat, Alistair reigned over Nocturne for over a decade with a strong hand. His citizens never rebelled, and many chose him over faith in any god out there. A cult grew out of this belief, and many of its followers are now high priestesses and priests in the Church of Mazdakism, the following of the pantheons belonging to Alistair, Raphael, and Lilith. As a whole, Alistair is still highly concerned with the affairs of the third plane, and will often step in when his followers need him.

        Alistair is completely opposed to any god or demon who would challenge his rule as King over the Second plane. It is for this reason that he finds his allies only within Mazdakism. The symbol for his Pantheon is a heart in flames. The Thorns that Daniel created for killing Zachariah were restored, in a way. Now, they serve Alistair. They stand close by him, ready to be set loose.

        As the God of Contracts, Alistair makes a living off of gaining the complete support over the minions he has gathered over time with his contracts. For every contract he makes, another life on the third plane must pay him back with support. While also serving as the God of the Flame, Alistair showcases his talent as a superb wielder of the Flame element. Every so often, Alistair randomly appears in the Third Plane, offering a deal to people who have attracted his eye, but have not mentioned the words.

        XXXAttracting his attention
        Alistair is very observant of his followers, and is more often paying attention than not. The easiest way to get his attention is to pray to him mentioning that you wish to make a deal. Once the words "I want to make a deal," are spoken, then Alistair will send his missionary to speak with the follower. Should his missionary be attacked, Alistair will denounce the follower.

        Once achieved, the mark holder will be branded with an image of a black heart on their chest.

        xxxMark One Passive: The Unburnt
        Prior to his ascension, Alistair was unmatched in his capabilities with the fire element, and his mark reflects that. This mark replaces any element you may have with Alistair's hell fire element. There are few perks to using Alistair's Hell Fire. Gaining the element also means gaining the style that made Alistair famous. The user is granted the first two stages of Hell Grasp.

        xxxThe Skills
          Fever C
          Without the slightest indication of movement, the user's own body begins to radiate an intense heat for five posts. This heat quickly consumes the area, starting a heat wave. This does two things. First, it weakens all other skills in the area by reducing the speed in which they shoot out by distracting the opponent so much that they have to work just as hard to get something out . The second benefit of this attack is that it becomes too hard to use skills that require a charge time. This affects everyone on the field, except the user. Even those with the fire element.

          Human Missile C
          Capable of being triggered as fast as the user can respond, intense flames will blast out any direction the user wishes and will propel them the opposite way. The user is capable of traveling almost 10 ft in the blink of an eye, and it can be sustained for fast flight, with a speed reaching up to 16 speed, which is enough to marginally outrun anyone.

          Overheat Passive, scales
          Whenever the user is bound, or contained in a prison of some kind, this skill works against it. If the user is bound by something that wasn't crafted specifically with energy (energy barriers or prisons), then the user can radiate enough heat to make the material pliable enough (metal) or the user can just burn them off (nonmetals). When trapped in a prison barrier, the user needs to pay in energy one rank below the prison's rank.

        Placed on the torso, just over the user's heart, is a brand of a fiery heart.

        All fire skills cost one rank less to use, including skills from Hell Grasp.
        First two stages of Hells Grasp
        When fighting anyone who is using elemental magic, an elemental skill you use will trump another elemental skill with the same rank.

        Battles fought alone work best for this mark holder, as he tries to flush an enemy out by making an area so unbelievably hot, having them suffer consequences for even being in the same area.

        xxxMark Two Passive: Everything Burns
        When using this stage of the mark, the markholder's presence is enough to unintentionally cause anything too flammable in the area to burst into flames. Weapons become to to the touch, though not unbearably so. Though, accuracy declines with ranged weapons. The heat contributes to the decline in focus, which further decreases accuracy. Hellfire attacks are not something that can be regenerated from while in battle.

        xxxThe Skills

          Heat Stroke Passive
          Once Fever is activated and this stage of the mark is achieved, this skill can start its job. For every post spent in the same area as the user, status effects start to work against the opponent. In the first post, their stats suffer (-1/-1). In the second post, they start using 1.5x the energy for all skills. In the third post, stats take another hit (additional -1/-1). In the fourth post, stats take yet another hit (-1/-1). In the final post, the effects linger until Fever subsides.

          Drought B
          While Fever is activated, this skill can begin to work. By intensifying the heat, focusing on any bodies of water in the area, the user can cause large bodies of water in the area to evaporate. The ground will begin to feel like a grill top beneath them. Within the post, water bodies like lakes will dry up, but will not affect any skills being used by the opponent in the last post. Meant to be used at the beginning of a battle. On the user's second post, the air will become arid and dry. This lasts as long as Fever lasts.

          You're Givin' Me A Fever Passive
          For every 6 skills used by opponents in the area while Fever is activated increases the duration of Fever by one post.

          The Burning Skies S
          As long as Fever is activated, extremely flammable, but inactive, fumes will begin to rise above the battlefield. Once someone tries going beyond 15 feet in the air, the Markholder can ignite these fumes, which will blast the opponent down from the sky, crashing into the ground. After the blast has subsided, fumes will rise again for a repeat. The flames are capable of causing third degree burns almost instantly, which due his the user's Hellfire, is not capable of being regenerated by normal circumstances while in battle.

        Much of the mark has been about weathering the opponents down, but it never showcased any of Alistair's prowess with the hellfire element. This stage of the mark finally showcases Alistair's and his markholder's prowess with the hellfire element.

        xxxMark Three Passive: Feel the Heat
        As the heat that radiates from the mark holder expands and intensifies, just the activation of the Mark at this Stage would start a heat wave that will envelop an entire city. The passive in this mark is very simple: Fever cannot be purged or cleansed in any way. Once it is activated, it must be finished.

          Hellfire Stream E-SSS
          While at first glance, this is just a plain fire stream attack, it is not. From the amount of energy spent, every post the power of the stream increases by two ranks, though it costs the same amount you originally spent to upkeep it. By slamming the user's palms together in any direction, the stream immediately begins with enough pressure to burn clean through rocks and boulders not explicitly involved in an opponents attack at E Rank. The stream is also pressurized, and extends up to 35 ft, increasing by 5 ft per post. The cap is SSS rank.

          Flames of Torment B
          When Fever is activated, the user can effortlessly call forth flames all along the floor of the battlefield. The flames will scorch the feet of those on the ground, forcing them to always be on the move, and never in one spot.

          Bending Light Passive
          Through intense heat, the markholder can distort everyone's view of the battlefield. When he uses Fever, the ground now becomes so hot, that it heats the air above it. The rapid heating of the air above the ground mixing with the cold air causes the light to show the changes in density. The change in density is shown through waves in the air as light passes through. This severely changes the flow of battle with ranged fighters, as they can no longer accurately shoot. Though, this requires a light source of a kind, and does not work in a dark area. Light can also be created through the use of other skills.

The beginning of this stage is to search for the inner fire within your being. The inner fire is often represented by one's will power, the core of your soul, or simply your heart. Once one finds the core of their fire, they will fuel it and draw it out, letting it flow throughout their body. This is done through meditation while surrounding oneself with fire and staring into it. The heat of the flames and the visual appearance of fire surrounding the individual strengthens the inner fire, making it expand and become stronger. Further meditation is then needed to control the flame, which by combining the person's inner ki with the flame and skin instinctively stops the very nature of the flame from burning or damaging the user. Users have reported that its something like wearing a leather glove. While glove is set on fire, their hand underneath feels nothing.
*Every skill in this style counts as both a hand to hand skill and an Elemental Skill.

Flame Punch | Rank E
The user builds up flames around their fists with a quick and solid blow that'll knock the target into the air with enough strength. Because of it's almost explosive nature, even someone with low strength can knock some off their feet with this skill. 1st degree burns are left behind in the area struck, making the area tender and more yielding to damage if struck again. This can also set others on fire if clothing or flammable material is hit. Can be used with feet as well.

Burning Stamp | Rank D
A skill the user uses to cause the opponents movements to be miserable. By stamping the ground, the user releases a small pulse of searing fire that ranges out to five feet and is 2in in height. This is meant for close range, as the fire will sorch the feet of the target, making standing or moving around excruciating, as it burns through most shoes.

An Open Flame | Rank E
The user is capable of releasing a large amount of heat from their body. Just by learning this skill makes the user feverishly hot. When used, the surface of the user's skin becomes hot to the touch, as if their skin were a hot iron skillet. It makes touching the user excruciatingly painful. Lasts for 3 posts.

Heat Clap | Rank D
By accumulating a massive amount of heat in your hands, the user will suddenly clap and release a wave of heat capable of causing a brief moment of dizziness in a 30 feet radius. The heat lingers long enough (3 posts) to weaken the effect of water skills by one rank in that area.

This stage teaches more in depth of the fire's nature, allowing the user to learn how to use its heat, explode, take shape or launch This is done by mixing the student's inner fire energy with outer energy, making them split for explosions, mix together to make shapes or projecting fire and heat. The training is done through meditation and being around and in fire, where heat is heavy and constant.

Flame Pitch | Rank D
Creating a tight packed ball of fire and energy in the user's palm, the user fires it at a desired target, fast enough to look like a mini comet. Impact is enough to knock someone off their feet and leave them breathless.

Heat Streak | Rank D
Using the sheer heat from fire, the user sends out a stream of pure heat from their palms, the stream being the size of the user's hands. Being hit by this leaves second degree burns from the heat, though would be in a larger spread of the body. Direct contact can cause worse burns and internal burning where the palm made contact.

Blaze Kick | Rank C
When the user kicks at their opponent, their leg will be engulfed with searing hot flames, delivering a powerful kick. This skill can be stacked onto another skill, increasing it's rank by one without having to spend the energy for it as long as it's C Ranked and below.

Exploding Fist | Rank C
Building up the fists with the burning energy, the user strikes a target with his fists. Upon impact the energy explodes, sending fire everywhere. Upon skin, it'll cause heavy burns but the explosion's power is very weak, only causing shallow wounds though if placed properly can be fatal. On C ranked metals, it can punch a hole into it.

Nitro Cannon | Rank B
Bringing their hands together, palms touching, the user builds up a mass volumn of burning energy. Creating a bright white ball of light in which the user then extends his arms outward with the palms still touching, releasing a large stream of condensed energy and fire (think kamehameha) in a desired location. The stream appears to be like a large beam, about ten feet wide and travels out until it reaches 35ft where it'll die out. Those caught in directly will be relentlessly rattled with burns, not to mention the beam would push them until it dies out or impacts another obstacle. After use the skill cannot be used for two posts.

The third stage teaches students to have more control over their inner fire, as now emotions can now help. Passion, Love, Hatred, Rage, and Determination are key emotions in training, as they intensify the inner fire. Everything learned so far is used and the student is taught to fully control and combine it with different close combat skills. To learn this stage the user must be thrown into a desperate scenario where they become heavily emotional and filled with at least two of the emotions listed above. The user gains a +1 to speed when this stage is learned. This desperation triggers the body's survival instincts.

Meteorite | Rank C
A stronger version of Flame Pitch, the user creates a bigger ball of condensed energy and fire, about the size of a a beach ball and fires it faster than its predecessor, taking on the appearance of a meteorite. The impact is strong enough to carry a person through the air until it reaches its limit and slams into the ground or into an obstacle and exploding with concussive force of a C4 explosion. The meteorite is extremely inaccurate at long range. (Flame Pitch prerequisite.)

The user will concentrate on burning energy into their palms, focusing it into the size of hand held grenades where they will throw them where a second later will explode with the force of a grenade, sending searing hot flames capable of dishing out 1st degree burns everywhere within 5 meters. They don't work if touched with water.

Missile Fury | Rank B
Infusing inferno ki into their fingers, the user fires the ki off of their fingers, all becoming homing missiles. Each blazing energy missile is about the size and shape of a 9mm bullet. These missiles will pursue the target for three posts at the speed of a meteorite skill until colliding with something. Upon collision, each one explodes with the force of a Meteorite.

Bermuda Surprise | Rank B
A technique that requires planning and staging, but when finished holds deadly results. The user starts by generating burning energy to their finger, and slashing the air with it in the direction desired. It'll cause a slash in the ground about 25ft in length, and if the target is struck a line of fire will appear in their skin, inflicting minor burns. However, the user does this two more times at any point, in a pattern where the three lines form a triangle (doesn't have to be perfect). Once the triangle is made, once the opponent is within the triangle it'll activate and explode violently. This can take out multiple targets and those within 10ft of the explosion will be badly burnt and knocked onto the ground. From the force of the explosion, the target is stunned for a post.

Blazing Pillar | Rank B
Building up burning energy in the user's leg, the user stomps their foot on the ground. The energy jets into the earth, and then explodes elsewhere in the area within 25 ft of the user, creating a pillar of scorching flames about 5-6 ft wide. The pillar remains standing and burning for an extra post, hot enough to evaporate water weaker then itself and if one is caught in it can inflict horrific burns all over the body. Over exposure results in death (two posts, afterwards death ensues.) 25 ft is the range the attack can be used from the fighter, and cannot be increased by any other technique.

Heat Wave | Rank B
A step up from Heat Clap, the user builds an immense amount of flameless heat in their body, only to release it at a moments notice, expanding throughout the entire area. This skill has the same effect of Heat Clap, but it also raises fire and hell's grasp skills by one rank in power.

In this stage, the user learns to transform their element and expand it, making it capable of utilizing a 'Hard Flame'. The training to power up and evolve the user's inner fire is by the user actually stepping into a large bonfire and meditating in it. To survive the extreme heat and be able to transform and enhance the inner fire, the user shrouds their energy around their body. This will protect them from the fire, and throughout the day slowly absorb the heat energy into their own energy source and overall make them immune to their own fire attacks and any fire attacks D Rank and lower, and overall provide a high resistance to the element itself. The Hard Flames have a unique look, its darker than normal fire and twice as deadly. This is the more destructive yet awe inspiring side of the style.

Flame Jet | Rank C
By shooting flames in the opposite directiong of where they intend to go, the user can propel himself forward, moving at a higher speed than normal. (+1) this can be used to launch yourself about 20 feet in the air, or even to soften a fall from ridiculous heights.

Flame Spin | Rank C
Creating a wheel of flames with the user in the center, the user shoots himself forward with increased speed and power (+1) and can completely knock off most B Ranked attacks, save for water attacks as it continues to launch itself at the target. Being directly hit would deliver enough force to knock someone back several feet, also delivering burns.

Inflamed Armor | Rank C
As the name implies, this is just basic armor that is made of the user's hard flames. The thin armor covers the entire body and it is extremely durable. It will take 5 attacks one rank above this skill to break the armor or one attack two ranks above.

Dragon Fist | Rank B
A technique where the user builds up immense amount of flames and energy around one arm, coating it from the elbow up. The coating will then take the form of a dragon's head, mouth and teeth and all. For three posts, the user will have "dragon fist" status, where the contact with the flames will cause horrible burns. The skill is named not just for the shape the flames take on, but the fact that the head seems to be alive, some believing the inner fire is a being or force on its own. The dragon's head can bite, spit fire equal to D rank Fire Stream, but boosted in power to the rank of this skill.

Meteor | Rank A
The user will jump high into the air and coat their body with their hard flames. Once they begin falling back down, their bodies will look like a meteor crashing down into the earth. Once the user makes contact with the ground, they will first send a shockwave that will knock people over. Then the users sheer power will begin to make a crater on the ground that will have a depth of 10 feet and a radius of 50 feet. The users fire will send a wave of of fire over the ground where the crater is forming, and it will burn nearly anything in its path.

Meteor Mash | Rank S
The fighter charges their fist with immense amount of burning energy, their fist taking on the color of black with redish orangish cracks in it. The user then swings their fist to strike the target, which as they do so the fist will leave a trail, like a comet. Impact from the fist will explode with the force of 5 megatons. Direct impact with these will kill, and being near it upon impacting will result in being sent back flying from the force of the explosion and having burns on the side of the body facing the explosion (must be within 5 meters). If the strike doesn't hit anything, the user can hold it for three posts, but paying C rank energy each of those posts. Afterwards it has a cooldown of 5 posts.

The final stage, where the most powerful and extreme skills are learned. This stage takes everything the students have been learning and magnifies them. Their inner fire at its peak and even becomes pure, it is no longer simply called fire. It is power all by itself. By this stage, the user now takes one rank less in damage from all skill skills. As a result of the users dedication, the user obtains a +1 rank in power to all hell's grasp skills making the user that much more deadly. Training for the last stage is given not through meditation or practice, but battle. The user will have to fight and use everything this style has to offer from stages 1 - 4.

Flash Fire | Rank E
When the user is about to be attacked by anything fire related, they will briefly surround themselves with a thin layer of fire to brace themselves, thus lowering the rank of the opponents fire attack by one.

Hephaestus's Rage | Rank A
Linking to Greek Mythology, this skill was named after the Greek god of fire: Hephaestus. The user will compress their fire until the point that a small marble could have the power of a enormous fireball. As the user holds the small ball in their hand, they will toss it at the opponent and once it makes contact with anything solid, it will expand into its true size and burn anything in its path. It will melt A Ranked metals completely, but will make S ranked metals extremely hot that one strike will break it.

Blades of Hades | Rank A
The user generates their inner fire, and exerts it out of their forearms and knees, creating a foot long blade of pure firey energy that is capable of even slicing through A ranked metals like butter. Wounds from these blades not only cuts but burns the wound. These blades can be held for three posts.

Meteor Shower | Rank A
The user will put raise their palms to the air and will begin to shoot out small burst of their pure fire. It will seem as if nothing happened until the next post. The fire will come down in a rain of heavenly fire that will rain down on every inch around the user. Has a radius of 10 feet. (Meteor prerequisite.)

Burning Within | Rank: E-SSS
Using their inner heat to burn out toxins, the user can resist and defeat any poison introduced into their system as long as they match the rank of the skill in energy.

Nova | Rank S
A devastating skill that will destroy anything in its path. This fire is something different, it's hunger can never be sated so it will burn through anything in its path and leave only ashes. The user will place one hand in front of them then the other behind them. The hand in front of the user will be the actual attack, while the hand behind the user will act as a 'stabilizer' that will keep the user from propelling back wards do to the sudden blast of flames. The user will begin to emit a pulsing orange flame from behind them, this flame is capable of turning cement to charcoal. After a post of charging in this state, the user will commence the attack. Then the user will shoot out a dark orange flame out of the hand in front of them. This blast is about 25 feet wide and goes up to a mile before it vanishes. The flame is capable of melting nearly any type of metal. No normal shield can protect the opponent after the user has trapped the opponent.

Hell's True Grasp | Rank SS
Taking on a whole new level, the user must understand that playing with fire, no matter how in control they are with it, will back fire on them. Once they know this, then the user will understand that in order to dish out so much damage, a toll must be paid. A toll of understanding the pain that they inflict. The user will take one whole post and begin compressing flames so tightly inside of their body, if disturbed, the user will literally explode, emitting a large 'nuke' of a sorts on the land. (Capable of destroying the entire thread, if not the city.) Once this is done, the user will unleash hell upon the lands. Five enormous pillars of fire will surround the user, and in a matter of seconds the pillars will begin to take an entirely different form as they combine together. Though it takes another post, if the user is hit at this stage of the attack, the entire attack is canceled. Once the pillars combine, a rather hideous beast will take form. A horned demon straight from the depths of hell will emerge. The beast will suddenly roar and then explode, encompassing the entire area in the explosion. As a result, the user's arms are burned off completely.

        MAZDAKISM
        Maria Kal was once a mortal Mer who lived a very peaceful, very small life in the huge ocean. She and her family created a colony in defiance of the ruler, Kaminae the Sea Witch. She spared no one when she came to destroy them. Maria barely made it out alive. She washed up in Aramil with only a tiny lizard who would take the long journey along side Maria to avenger her family and her people. It took years for her to grow powerful enough to gain that kind of strength needed to strike out into the world, but when she was ready the then Emperor West gave her an oppurtunity to cleanse the world of a madman known as Devrin. This was the first in a long line of power plays and steps she would take towards destroying the ocean's scourge. It was not long before she succeeded, which gained her the approval of Solonor. This was not the end of her journey however.

        Kaminae was but one of the many who would fall to her hand, not specifically in the name of Vangelism or Justoarianism. Because it was right. Because in her heart of hearts she loved the oceans, and she loved the forests she reigned over as Queen in the stead of the Late Korok. It was her love for the plane that drove her to slay Zachariah after he destroyed Yuran, and it was this same love that drew her to stop Kali from Siphoning the power from Elessia. For a long time no one heard from Maria. She floated in the endless abyss of the ocean, not conscious, not unconscious, but merely there. Dominus too seemed affected, falling slowly into a deep, pitch black crevice he was sure would be his final rest. The pressure was great on her as she touched the floor of a part of the sea she had never seen. And then a voice spoke to her. It was a twisted thing like a whisper and a scream all at once. It spoke of great power that could be hers. It spoke of a contract, a promise that would lead her to greatness. That voice too showed her images in her mind's eye of Kaminae, her grotesque transformation and the unraveling of her mind. This was her option. To die or become the very thing she hated. And then a light touched her unlike solonors. It was a second voice more akin to music than to something so wretched. It sang a tune of power as well, but a different kind. She saw the heavens themselves, a massive golden fence somewhere she knew but didn't at the same time: like the knowledge could be taken from her. The mass of power she had been blasted with, instead of killing her had awakened to entities on the plane. Two that sought one to guard them. She had a decision to make... a choice as heavy as two planes. Rather than saying yes to either she felt a righteous burst of power... and she accepted both, taking the greater and lesser of neither but taking their power, the power of Kali and Solonor, and her own to create something unique. Her connection to the Gates of Heaven and Hell remained but she was a slave to neither.

        The Mortal Maria died that day, but was reborn not just as a Goddess... but as a Legend. Now, as a part of a newer pantheon she seeks only to ensure the protection and longevity of the plane, and any who follow her quite literally can as she makes her home, along with her Champion Dominus, in the oceans and forests of the plane. It is not unheard of, though rare, to find her there, facing threats that would threaten the world itself while ensuring nothing that does not belong there leaves or enters the gates.

        XXXAttracting her attention
        It is not so difficult to attract the attention of a mer. Difficulty lies in keeping it. Were she to pick a chosen he or she would be one who has nothing but utter, complete devotion to protecting the world at large from it's larger threats. Her chosen would be a** kickers and name takers who refuse to let anyone cause the world or it's inhabitants harm. No one who doesn't actively partake in a worldly sense can keep her attention for very long but those who do find an eternal friend and ally.

        Before she ascended into Godhood, Maria and her mighty companion Dominus the Unbound were known far and wide for being the strongest Mer-Dragoon combo on the plane. When it came to combat she ruthlessly flooded the battlefield, relentlessly hounding her foes with high mobility and ruthless aggression. Her command over water came naturally to her as one born from the sands in the deep blue, but she was always known for the precision and fury she wrought.         In life Maria was known as an absolute monster in combat from any range. She was a particularly skilled spear fighter, as all dragoon-mer are, and just as mobile as one would expect a centaur dragoon to be, taking her ability to manipulate water and nature to new heights, even by Mer standards. All of this was independent of her teamwork with the mighty dragon she called her comrade. She alone proved that Mer and Centaur were a force to be reckoned with, both on land and at sea, undaunted even in the air as she used the power of her patron goddess, calling furious wrath down from the skies and up from the very earth itself, shaping battlefields to suit her needs and intentions. As a goddess, she graces those she chooses with a powerful tool with which to channel a power similar to her own: a silver trident known as Star Platinum, which holds dominion over both ice and nature.

        xxxThe Skills
          To Heed Your Call Passive-SSS
          Maria Kal was a unique creature in that she commanded the power of both land, sea, and in some regards even the sky. With this passive skill you can manipulate water and nature to a similar degree of mer, able to call 100 gallons of water to heel passively, or like a Centaur they can grow vines to attempt to restrict or attack foes, though without energy these things are not so strong. Every rank of energy adds a single post of higher level manipulation, adding one hundred gallons of water to be manipulated or growing more furious wildlife. At the top level, 8 posts of the land responding and fighting on the behalf of Maria are possible, with living tree constructs being one possibility, or 900 gallons of water to manipulate with deadly precision, able to manipulate multiple different forms of water simultaneously as if you yourself are a mer. Mer and Centaur gain far greater potency with these skills, with Mer producing 1.5x more water instantly, and Centaur able to manipulate the vines more precisely.

XXXSAMAEL, Truth and Vitality

        Just as it is for many other angels, Samael is an agent of Michael. He upholds the value of human life and has taken on the fight against evil. In the days of old Samael was a shining example of a paragon of good. With his mighty spear he slew malevolent beings without so much as a second thought. Being a lesser angel Samael often made his way to the world and meddled in the afair of humans and other beings. Often times he would inhabit a vessel and lead them and their kind in a fight against heinous creatures. Samael cared little for the well-being of those he used, only that the monsters and demons were slain. On one of his traverses to the world Samael's vessel was captured in battle.

        When Samael came to he was chained before a demon. The creature stared back at him with a queer look in his eyes, not exactly hatred. It was fear, a fear so deep it dared not approach the angel even though he was captured. Samael questioned why he was still alive, and the demon pleaded for its life. He proclaimed himself different from others of his kind. The demon did not feast on humans, he did not exploit others, nor did he even follow the teachings of Vaet Nocturnum. All it wanted was to live in peace. In silence Samael pondered deeply on the matters of good, evil, and life. Was it not true that beings could defy their nature? There were even angels who had fallen and turned away from Michael. Could it be that demons could do the same? It was then that Samael decided to forget his old ways and began down a new path. He swore to the demon that he would spare his life and allow him to live in peace. The demon set Samael free and the angel departed.

        He began to spread a new idea to other angels. Perhaps it was indeed possible for beings to change their nature. If that was the case they had to take more care in what they slay. There were few who respected this belief and even less who followed Samael. In order to show the others the truth, Samael began to spread his teachings to the mortal beings in the world below. He chose only honorable warriors, those who could differentiate between the nature of a creature and true evil. Samael gave strength to the weak who preached his gospel and granted them the strength to combat the forces of darkness.

XXXAttracting his attention
Samael chooses warriors who do not mindlessly kill. Those who are honorable in and out of battle will have an easier time attracting his attention. Beings who cherish life over all else can draw Samael's attention.

XMARK 1
After Samael's ascension into a righteous being he developed a number of powers. He manipulates life energy in order to strengthen those who fight for him. Life energy is akin to another element in how potent it is. This is similar to the way a shaman draws their power, as well as a necromancer. The marked one will obtain the ability to manipulate this in ways that Samael is best at.

XXXMark One Passive: Righteous Choosing
As a host of Samael, some of his powers reside within you. With the first Mark you are able to differentiate the truly evil from merely the demon-born just by being in their presence. Samael's first concern is the safety of his champions and the protection of their life. His bonuses focus on keeping the marked ones alive. You are able to instantly identify the true alignment of a creature (Chaotic Neutral, Lawful Good, etc) and know of their true intentions.

XXXMark One Skills

• The True Self D-SS
This ability is always equal to the cost of the person whom the marked one is targeting. It will force a reflection of the target to be created out of Vitality. The reflection is equal to them in every way. It holds the same stats as them, knows the same abilities and retains the same passives because it is made out of their life energy. Initially this does nothing to harm them. The True Self has an energy pool equal to half of the energy pool that the target had upon creation. This reflection answers solely to the marked one and will fight alongside them. Should it be destroyed by the enemy then they shall feel themselves dying. It is not a true death but it is debilitating. People become dismayed and often lose the will to fight. Some may flee or chose to turn themselves in. In the moment of destruction the True Self shows the person it was created after all of their flaws and misdeeds. Similar to the templar ability it forces an incredible level of guilt upon them.

• Vitalis -
This is a transference of life energy from one being to another. The energy draw is equal to what is being moved. An infusion of Vitality will grant a person extreme health for a time being. Wounds and illnesses will vanish as they are uplifted and put in to their prime. Energy will flood their body and boost their own pool until it is dried up. This boon does not go away after a set amount of posts because it is a direct transference of someone else's energy and life force. The person who makes the payment will often become weaker until they are able to regenerate their body and energy. The two parties need only be willing for this to work.

XXXThe Appearance
Samael's mark appears as a shimmering tattoo of a wing. It generally appears in an obvious place, for the truly honorable do not fear letting others know their true nature. The more Samael is served the larger the tattoo gets. For each evil being destroyed a feather is added to the wing. In the presence of the wicked the mark will glow and almost appear as if it is slowly flapping.

XXXThe Statistics
Access to Vitality, a form of energy. Mark One begins with 100 Vitality. This form of energy can be used to pay for mark skills. It also passively regenerates itself at 10 per post.
Increased (or Gained) regeneration for wounds, equal to that of a Lycan.

XMARK 2
The second mark focuses on aiding others. Most of the techniques focus around having a way to save a teammate or make the marked one the focus of enemy attacks. There is a powerful passive included in this one that plays off of every technique, granting bonuses the more dangerous a battle becomes.

XXXMark Two Passive: Never Falter
The more the marked one exposes themselves to the dangers of death they more potent their abilities become. By showing their willingness to sacrifice their own life their mark empowers them more and more. The first gift is an ever present knowledge of how much energy their allies have as well as their physical well being. They can sense wounds and afflictions even if they are not visible to the eye. The first time they protect an ally a stat increase of +2/+2 is granted to them, all the better to defend with. The second time they find an increase in their marked abilities. The third time they need only spend one rank less than normally necessary to fire off an ability. Each boon only lasts three posts but can be reapplied once they are over. They layer on one another but retain their separate duration.

XXXMark Two Skills

• I am strong enough for us all C
The marked one can release a burst of their energy that layers the battlefield. It is a method of taking the aggro away from their allies. An enemy will perceive this energy as something far more potent and dangerous and will be forced to direct their attacks to the marked one.

• My life, for yours D-SSS
By using their own Vitality the marked one can defend an ally or allies from an ability by paying equal rank energy to whatever attack they wish to halt. This comes from their body and appears before those they wish to defend. The Vitality absorbs the entire skill and both of them dissipate harmlessly.

• Your life, for mine -
Should the marked one ever manage to lay hands on a target they can pull a portion of their life force out of them. This is a flat amount equal to an A-rank ability. This energy is not harnessed nor absorbed, it is merely let go in to the world. Effectively this takes off years of life, immediately aging the target as their vitality has been pulled out. It weakens them dramatically for a time being, with stats lowered by -3/-3 until they are able to rest. This skill is rarely used in battle for the target must be properly held down and is rarely ever willing.

• No one shall die today B
The marked one can surround each ally with an infusion of their Vitality. This acts as a shroud equal to the rank of the marked one. This shroud will constantly heal whoever is shrouded so long as it is kept on equal to the healing ability of the marked one. At any point the ally can decide to turn the shroud in to raw power and be granted energy equal to 2x the rank of the marked one. For example, an A-rank shroud would result in 200 energy being given. Turning the shroud in to energy removes the shroud and that ally will lose the healing ability.

XMARK 3
This level of the mark revolves around tampering with the very force of death. By using Vitality the marked one can halt death and even bring people back from it. This is nothing like the profane magic that a necromancer uses to create undead. The marked one can even purify a soul if given the chance.

XXXMark Three Passive: The Moment Before Death
This is one of the more powerful aspects of this mark. Through their willingness to sacrifice everything for others the marked one has earned a special rite granted by Samael. They are able to trade their life for another at any given time. If there is an attack that is unavoidable and results in the death of someone the marked one can trade their life. This will bring back that person to full health and energy at the cost of the marked one dying. For the time being. They shall be granted the ability to come back to life at a place sacred to Samael. This keeps them from immediately reentering a battle. The gift is to not be abused. Each death has a serious effect on the mindset of the marked one for they have seen the end. Often times they become jaded and weary, too tired and uncaring to continue this sacrifice. In worse case scenarios they finally refuse to come back and choose to die at last.

• Resurgence SS
Death is rarely a finite thing in the world of Axiom. Most souls go to either the first or second plane, with many never managing to leave for either at all. Thousands of them end up as the power source for an undead, captured by a necromancer or absorbed by some other being. In this case, the marked one can use their Vitality to retrieve the soul of a dead being - regardless of what happened to it - and reattach it to its own body. The body shall be healed of any malediction or wound it may have suffered. The resurged are not undead nor minions of the marked one. A resurgence can only occur once per person.

XXXJUSTOR, the Moon, Energy, and Fertility
        JUSTOASTRIANISM
        Unbeknownst to their followers, the story of Justor and Solonor is actually far more romantic than what is publicized. When time had just begun to pass, and the empty universe was filled with physical vessels of energy, two angels were assigned to watching over the planet, and humanity: Justor, and Solonor. They were given great power by Michael, which would shape the world around them. Like Solonor, his magic lays in the light of the moon, which washed down on all creatures when the sun fell. He took control of the tides, the menstrual cycle and all sorts of random little baubles that the moon grew influential over. However, he was alone, isolated atop a giant mass of grey waste. Every now and then other angels would come see him, but for the most part he lived in the quiet. He didn't know where his life was going to go, or whether the emptiness would ever end. He only waited, patiently. He sat still, and didn't move unless asked to. Eventually, however, the flood happened.

        When the mortal life on Axiom was eradicated, he became enraged, feeling as if all of his time and effort amounted to nothing. He, one of the strongest angels, was ready to enter into Heaven and challenge Michael. However, a great light shone upon him before he left. This was the light of Solonor, his angelic brethren from across the ocean of space. She told him that she was lonely too, but they had always helped each other. They interacted with one another with their glow alone, and had become the true mother and father of the human race. They bonded over their solitude, and became resolved to protect and guide life on Axiom until time came to an end. Then, hundreds of years later, they descended upon the world. They took the vessels of two Elvish people, as they had a strong magic within them that could contain the two angelic beings. They spoke to the Elves, who were one with nature, and peaceful above all else. They helped them learn to cooperate, and joined the Dark Elves and Dawn Elves. Their mission was ultimately to bring about peace, so that the mortal world may never be washed away again.

        Justor himself is a highly compassionate angel. While Solonor is more of a rational thinker, he is an emotional one. He deeply loves life on earth, especially the Elves, and has always wished to see it thrive. He is quite honestly very motherly, which is ironic for a great and powerful, "masculine" angel, but that is simply the way he has always been.
        XXXAttracting his attention
        Justor seeks an emissary of peace. He has had one champion many lifetimes ago, Empress Maghlya, who seeked purely to create peace and harmony within Kuladhan and her neighbors. She was also a woman of great virtue, the philosopher who truly decided the social norms of the elves. Before her, they were quite barbaric. Additionally, she was an amazing mage, mostly due to his influence inside of her. She was known to be able to erect massive barriers and cast all sorts of defensive spells.

        It is said that the attention of Justor is drawn by the compassionate. It is drawn by one willing to forgive and forget even the greatest transgressions -- he wants someone who focuses on brightening the future, rather than avenging the past.

XMARK 1
As with his counterpart and companion Solonor, Justor has complete dominion over the moon and the nature of energy. He has always drawn power from Solonor. While he is not as potent as she is they are always working together, which means his powers are still incredibly strong. Justor chooses to zone control, manipulating the light of the moon to create an area where he is in charge and empowered by the touch of his counterpart. His understanding of energy allows a ridiculous control over his abilities. Justor can create the image of a moon no matter where he is, be it day or night, cloudy or clear. The phases are directly chosen by him, each granting unique abilities when basking under their light. His champions are more subtle than those of Solonor's, still standing proud but choosing to enshroud themselves in the night.

Those who are chosen by Justor are granted the ability to call upon the moon. The light created from it will cover the battlefield and empower them immensely.

xxxMark One Passive: Crescent
At the start of a fight the mark wielder can spend a post to create a facsimile of the moon in its earliest phase. The entire battlefield - no matter where they are - will be covered in its light. This even turns day to night within the area of the battlefield. Inside of the moonlight the abilities of the mark are invisible. Because they are generated from the light of the actual moon they blend in completely, untraceable by even technological means. This crescent lasts for 3 posts, before it disappears for one and then reappears for 3 more. This continues until the fight is over. During this phase spells cast by the marked are increased in size and duration by 1.25x

Enshroud D
With a tiny cost of energy the marked can also make themselves and allies be invisible within the light of their moon as well. It lasts until the moon enters the next phase, or resets. It must be paid for again

This light shines on me, not you D-SS
This ability is always equal to the rank of the creature it is attempting to affect. Any creature that gains bonuses to being in the darkness will be stripped of them. Vampires will be affected by the light just as equally as if they were in real sunlight. Ghosts/shades do not gain bonuses to themselves either. This lasts until the moon enters the next phase or resets.

Constellations B
The marked can create beings out of moonlight in the form of constellations. Any creature - even a version of themselves can be created. These have no real physical form as they are light, but they can burn just as potently as directed rays of the sun. They are only a collection of energy, and any magical attack of equal rank can disperse them. The marked can create as many constellations equal to their rank multiplied by 2. This means a Novice can make 2, an Adept can make 4, and so on. It only costs B rank to make as many constellations as the marked can, regardless of how many they make. They last until the moon enters the next phase or resets.

Chill of the night A
Areas outside of the moonlight are incredibly freezing, reaching temperatures far below anything that most beings can exist in. Rapid onset hypothermia, frostbite, lack of oxygen; these are only a few of the symptoms one can face should they choose to try and hide from the light of the moon. The longer a creature is exposed to this chill the faster they die. Even if creatures are immune they must be protected by magical means. This is an energy attack, not an actual temperature drop. Anything shielded can survive, but even undead or fairhairs can be effected by this.

xxxThe Appearance
The Mark of Justor is beautiful and subtle at the same time. It covers the entire body, like a softly luminescent tattoo. It is silvery and slightly colder than the rest of the marked one's body.

At the start of a fight or the end of the previous phase the mark wielder can spend a post to create a facsimile of the moon. The entire battlefield - no matter where they are - will be covered in its light. This even turns day to night within the area of the battlefield. Inside of the moonlight the abilities of the mark are invisible. Because they are generated from the light of the actual moon they blend in completely, untraceable by even technological means. This crescent lasts for 6 posts, before it disappears for one and then reappears for 3 more. This continues until the fight is over. During this phase spells cast by the marked are increased in size and duration by 1.5x

Luminescent Blessing E-SSS
The marked one can bless an ally by infusing their body with the power of the moon. This will constantly regenerate their energy over time until the phase of the moon is over or resets. Really, the marked is expending their own energy to grant their ally a certain amount. The ally will receive energy equal to 1.5x the amount the marked spent.

Celestial Deterioration E-SS
This ability is equal in rank to that of the target. Should any ability of the marked one touch them they become marked as well, though it is not beneficial. Abilities cast by the marked one will hone in on the enemy with perfect accuracy. This lasts until the next phase of the moon or until this one resets.

Orb of Night B
The marked one can create a multitude of smaller moon like orbs. They will encircle themselves or an ally or even an enemy. Anything that makes contact with those orbs will be burned by their light. These orbit around whoever it is cast upon and do so at a speed chosen by the one they are surrounding. There are 3 of them, and they burst on impact when hit.

The silvery tattoo grows in size and begins to glow brightly. The circles and lines seem to flow within themselves. A soft aura surrounds them as well. shining like the light of the moon.

xxxMark Three Passive: Full Moon
At the start of a fight or the end of the previous phase the mark wielder can spend a post to create a facsimile of the moon. The entire battlefield - no matter where they are - will be covered in its light. This even turns day to night within the area of the battlefield. Inside of the moonlight the abilities of the mark are invisible. Because they are generated from the light of the actual moon they blend in completely, untraceable by even technological means. This crescent lasts for 9 posts, before it disappears for one and then reappears for 9 more. This continues until the fight is over. During this phase spells cast by the marked are increased in size and duration by 1.75x

Wax A
The marked one can create a smaller version of the moon, about seven feet in diameter, and have it float around controlled by their will. The moon will emit this constant flow of energy for as long as the phase is active or the moon is destroyed by abilities of equal level. The energy pushes outward and constantly shoves enemies away from the orb at powerful levels. It would take 13 strength to resist the push of this ability, and even so one would be immensely slowed down when trying to approach the orb. This will constantly shove them back at a base level of twenty five feet.

Wane A
The marked one can create a smaller version of the moon, about seven feet in diameter, and have it float around controlled by their will. The moon will emit this constant flow of energy for as long as the phase is active or the moon is destroyed by abilities of equal level. The energy pulls inward and constantly draws enemies towards the orb at powerful levels. It would take 13 strength to resist the pull of this ability, and even so one would be immensely slowed down when trying to escape the pull of the orb. This will constantly pull them in from a base level of twenty five feet.

Silent Night S
Imbuing the areas basked in the moonlight with waves of energy. Over the course of the current moon phase the enemy will constantly be assaulted with this disorienting light. They will feel immensely off balance, confused about their location and whether or not things are illusions or not. The only thing that seems real is the moon itself, which appears to grow and grow until it blots out the sky and consumes their world completely. Everything else appears to be hazy and distorted. The overbearing fear that they will be crushed becomes their greatest concern. They will be forced to attempt to destroy the moon, wasting energy firing at something that cannot be destroyed.

xxxThe Appearance
The mark now appears to be an intricate design covering the majority of the wielder's body. It is now very visible due to the constant shining and flowing. Their aura basks them in the light of a full moon on an unclouded day, giving them a true divine appearance.

Justor, I am yours Passive
At this level the marked is granted a weapon immensely powerful, one touched by Justor himself. Originally he fights with a bow, one crafted from the light of the moon and his own energy. It has no corporeal form, and generates ammo freely so long as it is used in moonlight. The weapon when combined with other abilities can be deadly accurate, and each strike is equal in raw strength to the wielder themselves. Should the marked choose not to use the bow they can have whatever weapon of whatever style they choose, it will just be made in a similar manner. Each projectile/strike generated from a weapon like this have the potent moon-fire effect, searing to the touch just as if it had been light from the sun.

Moonfall SS
The marked one can willingly choose to have their created moon descend from the sky and crush a thread. It ends the phase and in 3 posts time will destroy the entire area. Something of that size crashing in to this plane is immensely catastrophic. It can cause serious natural disasters as well, such as residual earthquakes, a tsunami, etc; all depending on the location of course. This level of destruction is akin to that of Justor's Descent, the infamous ability of the Dark Elves in terms of sheer destruction.

Until Dawn SSS
The marked will gather an immense level of lunar energy and create a massive barrier. Any attack shot at it is mitigated completely. Then, the moon swells in size and releases a beam the same strength as this ability plus the one defended against. The moon is destroyed after this attack.

xxxThe Appearance
The mark spreads until the marked one seems to be made of celestial energy. They themselves will look like the constellations, made of starlight and energy.
