Ixen listened to Sin intently. A new position why bother telling him? Did he intend to have Ixen fill it or have someone who Ixen didn’t like fill the spot?
Ixen closed his eyes in thought. It can’t be the later because I don’t know anyone enough to hate them. As for having me fill the spot that could be something of an issue. I’m still quite young so I’m not sure if those foxes whom are older than me would be very appreciative of having someone so inexperienced lead them in Sin’s absence. Ixen had the feeling that Sin wouldn’t count is inexperience into account. Either that or he thought that or Sin figured that Ixen could handle it. Exactly why are you telling me this father?

"I raised you to be responsible, to think before doing something. In a way, you were mature before you even were an adult." Sin calmly responded with, glancing over at Yuki. "As Beta, this person would have to be able to speak to me clearly, but also be mentally strong and clever. There is only two people I know who I would ever let argue with me or even bring up something against my orders, and only one person I know that can handle such stress." It was true, Yuki was smart and clever, quick and strong, but the male was not able to handle stress very well. There was only one person he could trust, and that person he had raised as a young kit.
"I would like you to fill that role, if you accept."

Ixen gave a mental sigh. Being in the 'Beta' position would be difficult. Not only would he have to be able to out argue other foxes, he might need to argue and even go against his father if Sin was wrong! Ixen went through a mental checklist of the other foxes in the tribe. Some of the others might be more mentally fit for the task, but there was no way Sin would listen to them if he decided to do something that they didn't like. Sin was right about that. Once a decision was made by Sin he didn't change it easily.
Ixen hadn't missed the look Sin had spared Yuki. Yuki was actually quite mature in some aspects didn't Sin know that? After all Yuki was considering a family.. but Sin doesn't know that yet.. and I'm not about to tell him. Surely he wasn't considering Yuki for the post! Yuki was quick and clever but he was also small and frail looking. Putting Yuki in that position would only make Yuki a target to foxes who were more aggressive. I would rip apart any fox that tried, but still putting Yuki in that position wouldn't be wise.
... I don't really have a choice.. d*** it! I will accept the position unless you can find another that you feel would do better in it. There now I can fulfill the role but still be able to step down if Sin finds another fox that he can trust.. doubtful, but still better safe then sorry. Sin knows I will cooperate now.

Doku glanced back at Sin finding him talking to Ixen. He was pretty sure he wasn't getting a taking to like Doku did. Whatever~ Doku thought. He kind of figured there would be favor-ism seeing as Ixen was his "Kid". Doku spotted the kit with the modaeva. He gave a smirk. He remebered when he was checking her out when he had first meet her. But that been had been days before he had found Unia in the lands and became her mate. Walking up behind the Daraki he said, "I'm sure you would done better without the daeva standing over you. Good try."He told him.

Dakari turned around, looking slightly miffed. "Doesn't count! I was hiding, and then she gave away my hiding place!" There was almost a whine in his voice. Dakari didn't think it would be fair to have this counted against his ability to hide. It was cheating if you could fly, you could see just about anything from above.

Doku chuckled and placed a paw on Dakari's head ruffling up the fur again. "Don't whine young one. I said if she wasn't standing over you it would have been alot better so there for I do agree with you some what but also it is rude to talk about her in front of her with out some introductions. I'm sure she didn't try and give you away"Doku smiled than looked over that the daeva and nodded his head "Hello there kind lady. My name is Doku." He held out his paw to see if she would hand shake with him.

Ginevra watched on in slight amusement, vaugely realizing how distant she and Draconis had been from the rest of the tribe. She didn't know anyone else, hardly knew Sin very well, and everyone else seemed to already have met. She nodded at the green fox, Doku. "I'm Ginevra," she imtroduced herself in response. She then glanced back down at the kit. "I suppose I must apologize for giving away your position," she said, stopping there, rather than actually saying sorry.

"It's nice to meet you Ginevra,"Doku said sitting down next to Dakari. He looked around and noticed that aproxamently 20 feet from the spot he sat was the spot him and Sin fought his first day here. As he thought about it, it seemed like forever ago. "So Ginevra whats your position in the tribe?"

Dakari quickly bored at the adults made introductions. He was very curious about Ginerva, he'd never seen a winged fox before. He slowly circled around the seated Daeva, sniffing at her occasionally. She smelt like a fox, and also a bit smoky like fire.

"Likewise," she replied to Doku, though she was watching the purple kit circle her curiously. "I'm to be a carer." As she said it, she knew how ridiculous she must have sounded. Obviously she knew the reputation of her own kind, and she knew she wasn't much like them. Sure, she was easily angered, but she wasn't constantly aggressive, like most. Plus, she was mated to Draconis, and he wasn't exactly your typical 'Phim, either. Shaking herself from her thoughts, she asked Doku, "And your position?"

"What's a carer," Dakari asked, unfamiliar with the term. That meant she cared for something right? What was she supposed to take care of?

"A carer is someone who looks after kits and BCR's for all the other tribe members if they are unable to look after them. For example since I one of the Hunters of the tribe I would leave my BCR's in Ginevra's capable loving hands while I go out hunting for everyone."Doku answered both the daeva's and Dakari's question in one go. Doku pulled Dakari back away from Ginevra a bit. "That's a little rude don't you think? I'm sure if you asked her she would tell you what you wanted to know." Doku told Dakari before looking up at Ginevra.

Dakari looked up at Doku, face cross. "I did ask her, weren't ya listenin'? And why would she have to take care of your babies, what about their momma?" The fact that Dakari didn't have a momma or a daddy to look after him was obviously not the same, he was far superior to a normal kit!
((After this interaction is over I'm gonna rp Dakari as an adult.))

((Celebration timeee))
Aka was obviously either still asleep, or not joining. This irked Sin very slightly, but he kept it to himself. This event had been held back long enough, it was time to start it, with or without Aka. Sin nodded towards Ixen, giving him a rather knowing smirk, as if he knew what the other was thinking. It didn't matter, Ixen was a good choice for this role. It was not favoritism, it was merely smart. Who else would he listen to? Ixen could persuade him, could level with him, and Sin was known for being rather rash at times. He wanted what was best for the tribe, and at times he was overbearing. Ixen would be a good challenger and partner.
He turned to look at the others, raising his head. "Let us all meet at the pond then, the event shall start. If someone could find Aka that would be appreciated, but not necessary. I'm sure she will join us soon."

Ginevra stood silently, watching with amusement. Even though Doku pulled Dakari off to the side a bit, she could still hear every word being said. "Everyone, including mothers, have a responsibility to the tribe," Ginevra chimed in, after Dakari's question. "It's my responsibility to care for you and other kits while the parents are off hunting or gathering or something and can't look after you themselves." Her tone was surprisingly gentle and patient, a tone only a kit, or Draconis, could naturally produce from her.
Speaking of Ginevra's mate, the blue, white and silver 'Phim flew by just in time to hear Sin's announcement of the celebrations. She watched as he landed near them, planning to accompany her to the pond with the others.
