Rhia dropped another snack into her basket, unable to help herself. She'd need something to eat while away from her hotel room, right? She double checked the items to make sure she had everything she needed: antibacterial gel, roll of bandages, Pokemon treats (for her Pokemon as well as any injured she might be called on to tend to). Done.
Once the items were paid for and tucked into their proper places in her backpack, Rhia took out the Pokeball containing her rented Ponyta. Might as well get an introduction done with her new partner at least, and get her fabric strip tied on.
"Come on out, Castor." She didn't bother with any fancy throws, just holding onto the Pokeball as the Ponyta escaped its confinement and regarded her with a curious brown eye. He seemed to be content under the shelter of the small overhang, and shied back a bit from the rain. She smiled brightly. "Hi there. We're going to be traveling together for a while. I'm Rhia and this..." She knelt down and tied the green cloth to his leg. "Is our caravan color. You've done full caravans before, right?"
The Ponyta continued to stare at her, then nodded. "Pony."
Rhia beamed and stood. "Good. We need to get back to the ranch before this rain stops, but we'll have plenty of time to get to know one another. Return!"
Castor, made docile by the rain no doubt, returned without fuss and Rhia made sure to tuck his Pokeball safely in the water-proof pouch with the Pokeball that held Aimee.
And off we go!
With her hood to protect her dyed hair from the rain, Rhia took off at a full run for the ranch. Hopefully the rain would stop soon; now that she was fully prepared she was more than ready to get going.

Opal woke up with a start. She had been riding on Ursalyn for more than a few hours now and she was completely drained of energy. Wrapped around her arm was Nerezza, who had to hold on to keep from being blown off of the Ursaring. As she felt her trainer stir, Ursalyn looked up and gave a small grunt, not breaking stride. Opal smiled at the Bear Pokemon and patted her head. "How are you doing, Ursalyn? Are we almost there?" The Ursaring snorted. Opal frowned a bit and took a look at her map. They were... somewhere. She was sure they would find the swarm spot eventually. Opal looked to the Ghost Pokemon wrapped around her arm and smiled. "Hey Nezz. Wake up." The Gastly sneezed and looked at her trainer grumpily. "Gast..." The girl chuckled. "Sorry to wake you from your nap, but we need help figuring out where we are." Nerezza scowled and looked around at their surroundings that were zooming past them at high speeds. She finally spotted one of the wagon trains galloping past. Opal glanced in that direction and motioned to Ursalyn. "Follow them. They should know where to go." The Ursaring grunted and began to follow the train, keeping her fast pace.

While Lizzie left Psywater alone to get food (she couldn't resist the smell of it anymore), the Lugia woke up from his name and saw that it wasn't raining anymore. Ecstatic for the chance to get out of the stables, he made his way among the crowd of people and took off into the sky...
"Oh come on!" Lizzie made it back to the stables to give Psywater some food, only to find that he'd disappeared. She glanced around for any signs of him, and even outside. But if he was flying, she didn't see him, probably because of all the clouds and the diminishing sunlight.
She should've put him back into his ball the first chance she got. Now he was gone. But Lizzie can wait. He'll come eventually. She decided to sit outside to wait for him, with a frown on her face.

Ridley looked around them as the rows of houses turned into patches of farmland and suburbs, guiding Soulcrusher down less populated roads as Liam teased him, but Ridley no longer minded the rain, and didn't broach the topic of what his bags contained. As Liam settled himself, Ridley finally looked over at him, and blinked as he held out the hat, not reaching for it.
"No! You keep it. It looks good on you," Ridley grinned at him. Honestly, he hated that hat. It was technically part of his uniform but it made him look super gay, in his opinion, so he avoided wearing it.

A surprised look spread across the pink-haired boy's features as his traveling companion told him to keep the hat, pale-blue eyes turning to it before putting it back on, surprisingly quiet about it. In reality, it was stupid for him to feel as such about such a simple thing as a hat, but Liam couldn't help but feel a little pleased, and perhaps a little embarrassed, looking the other way as if he thought he saw something until the pink had left his cheeks. Only then did he smirk at the other, running his fingers over the brim, tucking it over one eye jokingly. "Oh how thoughtful of you, how did you know black was my favorite color?" He teased, plucking at the collar of his shirt, "And it even matches what I'm wearing."
Nitro snorted again, and Liam gave the pokemon a laugh and a gentle smack. "No one likes your sense of humor either, shut up." If it was possible, Nitro's expression flattened even more, and he looked over at the other pokemon, swishing his tails in a dismissive manner. The healer folded his arms across his chest, making a face, "Everyone's a critic."

Lisa blinked as she saw a Lugia of all things take wing. It seemed that the trainers of Zatao had been quite busy in her absence. She sat and took in the sight for a little while, then, with her stomach growling, got off her ponyta, leading it back to the waiting area. She tied the bridle to a post and went inside for snacks.
Bill was just coming out as she went in. "Ah, I see you got ol' Sleipnir. Right proud one that stallion. You must have a way with Pokemon if ye got him that calm that quickly." Lisa shrugged, "Compared with some of my pokemon, Sleipnir is as humble as a happiny. Thankfully he doesn't have a mouth full of sharp teeth." Lisa's hand went to one of the pokeballs at her side, the safari ball with her very first pokemon. Recalling that trip, she went inside and started munching idly on a sandwich.

They were everywhere. In every nook a cranny. Infesting the entire location with their excitement and chatter. It was all so grotesque. Being near them, seeing them, breathing the same air as they did almost triggered a violent reaction within Teddy's stomach.
The common, everyday, trainer.
Oh how their unfashionable existence made the teen's skin crawl. It seemed as if they simply did not care for their appearance. Not that Teddy was the prime example of glamor, this fact being a mystery to him. Well, until he caught a quick glance of the disaster happening ALL OVER his face.
" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! " Pink lips parted and out came shriek. Then some wailing, similar to a woman's weeping over a husband's death.
Teddy fell to his knees with a splash and dug into his tote bag. After a 5 millisecond search out came a mirror and moist towelette. With a few wipes here and there Teddy fixed up the mess. His hair on the other hand continued to remain wet. There was nothing to do about it....except pull it all back into a ponytail. Thus he did so, no matter how painful it was.
When everything was perfected (he even went as far as cleaning off any mud that had clung to him) Teddy carefully made his way to the building that held the rental Pokemon. He made sure not to look at anyone while maneuvering to the desk. Last thing he wanted to do was to make eye contact with any of 'them'.
" Hi I am here for a rental okay bye. " Even holding a conversation was out of the question. Tossing a chunk of cash at the receptionist Teddy went to the stalls. There awaited him a group of hideous creatures. Where was the class? Where was the glam? Where was the nearest exit?

"Well this looks familiar doesn't it boy?" Carter patted the grizzled Tauros fondly as he gazed out at the milling trainers. The last time he had seen this many people together was when he had received his sturdy mount during an expedition beneath the ground. With a soft chuckle he dismounted the beast and headed towards the crowd.
"Let's see, I think I have everything. Pokeballs, food, a blanket..." Lost in his musings, Carter ticked off every item on his fingers as he thought of them. "Poncho." Not that it had done any good tucked tightly in his bag. The rain had caught him off guard while on his way to the meeting place, and his current outfit was sopping wet. "You better return for now buddy, I don't want anyone running off with you while I change." He patted the Tauros once more and recalled him, tucking the pokeball safely into it's spot on his belt.
"Excuse me, excuse me." He moved politely through the crowd and to the bathroom, emerging five minutes later in his usual attire. With a towel he dried his auburn hair and glanced around perplexedly, "Now what?

Ridley was surprised when Liam fell quiet, glancing over at him and watching him place the hat back on top of his head, noticing color in his cheeks, but not sure if he was seeing things. He grinned, looking over again as Liam started to tease him, shaking his head and giving him a once-over. Soulcrusher looked back at Nitro, rolling his eyes understandingly as they broke out into the full country, pokemon standing outside in groups or under shelter to stay out of the drizzle.
The Rocket shook his head, grinning, looking back to their path. He spotted the huge Pokemon Express complex, blinking at the massive barn. There were trainers outside with Ponyta, Tauros, and Onix, rearing massive in the near distance, and Ridley looked around. "I think that's it. Wow, it's bigger than I thought it'd be..."

Jamais was running behind she'd been gathering tools she'd needed and shoved some of the more random items into her bag, while grabbing her box. "Oh god... I hope they haven't left without me."
She was dressed in what appeared to be clothing she used to work on anything mechanical judging by the amount of oil stains and rips in the legs where it looked like there might've been a close call or two.
The girl's hair was almost impossible to miss, being black with lime green highlights. Her shirt was black so it was harder to tell any staining.
When she got to Bill's she filled out the forms and dropped the money for a rental pokemon, a ponyta. She grinned at Bill as he did the normal run down of things. If only it hadn't been for the fact she needed a quick transport she might've walked. Though there were jobs waiting, and she packed her tools as lightly as possible.
"Just don't take 'em out in the rain." He said, "When it's clear enough you can take the one you pick out for a test run."
Jamais nodded, "Of course, thank you sir."
With that in mind she was quickly off to the stables. Hoping that the down pour wouldn't catch them.

Flint hurries into the store, and out of the drizzle, it may have stopped raining hard but he still didn't like getting wet. he browses the shop for a while carefully selecting the items he would need for the trip. After he had gotten everything, he headed to the cashier and paid for everything after which he went back to Bills ranch to wait for the rain to stop so they could depart

((@ Gwynnie~!)) Kary looked up to see Lisa walk into the house and start in on a sandwich. Having gotten a good deal of snacking done already, the young trainer decided to socialize and walked over to the stranger, giving a small, friendly wave.
"Hiya," She said, doing her best to smile unassumingly, "Can I ask what group you're going to be in for the trip? I'm in Red Group."

Liam, too, looked over at the building coming into focus, noticing the trainers and pokemon gathered outside it as well. It seemed, though, that at least most of them didn't own the pokemon themselves -- it seemed they were trying to get acquainted with them, some having luck, some... not so much. The healer tried to keep down an amused laugh as one boy ran from his onyx, the rock pokemon chasing after him with a roar.
"What did you expect? Eevee are much sought-after," he answered, looking around as they approached. Nitro stopped as they reached the barn, obviously deeming this part of the trip finished, and the healer slid off his back, looking around in a full 360 degree motion before settling back on Ridley. "Does this place have reservations to stay? 'Cause I didn't even think about that... we didn't call ahead or anything."

Miriam blinked in surprise when Teddy walked out to the stables. He look less than pleased to be at the ranch at all, which probably wouldn't bode well when it came time to actually leave for their destination. From the looks of things, he appeared to be out of his element, to say the least. The ranger said nothing about this, however, and instead, offered a quiet wave of a hello. The best thing to do before heading off on a journey was to be nice and cordial to everyone, regardless of if they were the same way back. After all, one never knew how traveling such a long distance would go, and you never knew who you might have to count on when the situation called for it.
"Good afternoon," she chimed happily. Her delibird trilled happily next to her, too. Fubuki was eager to get on the trail to Motterossa just as much as his trainer was. "How are you today?"

@Anyone, really: Meeka yawned and a few stray droplets decided to make their landing point her tongue. She sputtered a little when the rain hit, 'bleh'ing like a Dracula reject. Disgusting! Turning to her team who were currently milling about, she sighed. Okaaaay. Tentacruel in a tree - not okay; withdrawn. Ursaring chewing on the wooden fence of the ranch - not okay; withdrawn. Stantler about to n** an unsuspecting female's bum - not okay; withdrawn. Pidgeot standing around, tilting its head in curiousity . . . alright. Pikachu mimicking Pidgeot - just fine too . . . Aha, well . . . it was understandable. Avella and Terri were going to behave, not misbehave.
Beckoning the Pikachu over, it took a spot on Meeka's shoulder. The Pidgeot tilted its head the other way and the redhead just laughed. "Oh Avella, you look so bored. Don't worry. We'll be flying out of here soon. Just and be patient."
