Target got a frustrated look, though happy to know his brother is alive, changed? How?
"He is my brother, nothing about that has change, Kocerou what is the way back?"
He waited for the prince to respond.

Blade Kuroda
Continuing along their path, the dragon and thief had yet met with any sort of obstacle. The skies were clear for them and they didn't really spot anything down below either for that matter. Still, as they went on, they kept a fairly casual pace and just kept an eye out for anything that could be out of place.

From above was a small but growing blot in the sky. Soundless yet at that distance. Appearing and disappearing between the low-level clouds, light fell upon the figure much like how it fell upon water, a rippling glint, a shadow surrounded by a thin gold glow.

The height the creature was flying at paired with its size limited the possibilities of what could be traveling at that clip. It was just one blot though and not a number of them.

"And so they left the East and vanished. Simultaneously no one and everyone was victor except those dead straws that had fought for either side and had been left to rot. That was their purpose for their Lords."

The gold-haired mage tossed another little treat up into the air, continuing the game that he'd been playing with Ares as the story had been told while in the stone room he'd returned to work on more tests. "Maybe the group of fae had not completely vanished. They still appear from time to time though that war is over now."

And now it was happening again. Such was the way of it all. Question was, how would this new story end?

And more importantly, how could he make it benefit him?

-----------

Even in the late eve skies, the thunder of their wings and the rush of wind were tell-tale enough.

Beneath the thinning branches, Jay stood holding tight the reigns of her horse looking upward as three massive dragons flew straight overhead, her knuckles white as she struggled to keep the untrained horse in check.

When the ruckus finally died down and she was not about be stomped into the ground by iron shod shoes, her gaze turned toward the Southwest, the direction the dragons had traveled. They were not so deep into the Border that this was something to shrug off. A town lay about two days off at a casual riders pace. For a dragon though...

"They're going to hit the town," Jay muttered to Micheal and Roman as she hurriedly pulled herself back up into the saddle.

It had been too dark for her to make out what kinds of dragons they had been. As usual, chances were normal or Fallen, but with everything as turned around as it had been, who knew any more.

The Red Head's ears twitched as his low glow of his eyes glanced up as he lazily held his horse in place as it struggled to run like Jay's horse did, at this rate the horse would either snap the reins or hurt it's self. Till it settled to just stomping. Roman just recognize that they were dragons. Hearing Jay's next words it didn't take a second thought he hopped up in the saddle and held a firm grip upon the saddle and look at them.
"When you think we were done with one irritation another arises."

Micheal was looking at the detail of the dragons and then glanced in the direction where Dark was at. 'Are they aware of you, and can you drop them if need be?' Waiting for his bound to respond he calmed his horse by changing what the horse felt as fear to a just a thought and now felt as calm as Micheal did, with a slight touch of his hand.

'There in my sight I don't think they know I am near, I am pretty high up. Dropping them, this could be fun.' The Tainted dragon circled it's gliding flight before deciding on following.

De' Court hopped up in the saddle and readied for a run waiting for Jay's go to. "Dark isn't that far."

So they already knew what she wanted to do about it. Good.

She saddled back up and nudged her horse to ride on, slowly gathering speed. "Unless he thinks he can take all three out at once or in short order, he risks attack from the other two," she shouted to Micheal over the sound of hooves and road. "They take a pot shot at his wings and succeed, he's going to hit ground like any other dragon and you'll be the first to know it."

She looked back up at the sky as she followed the road. Dark hadn't had the fighting experience though his undragonlike abilities would give him an advantage. In the air though, it was still a gamble.

"Can he see if any of them have riders?"

Micheal lightly nudge the side of his horse to follow Jay's horse to prevent running into each other. The Vampire closed his eyes and griping the saddled so he wouldn't fall off as his sight connected with the Dragon's for a second.finer details were being difficult to tell while in the sky. They both looked like they were wearing fine or medium armor. One had a cloak on that fluttered nicely to just cover him/her body. The three dragons appeared to be two normal and one fallen.
"There's two Riders, Dark could tired the group out, but draining them could cause their wings to buckle."
Micheal only yelled loud enough to be heard over the hoofs against the ground.

'Could try to catch them before they fall'

'Your wings aren't meant for that especially for the Fallen, we would have problems if he fought or his weight was too great.'

The dragon grumbled to himself as he circled around to see if others were near.

Roman was keeping his pace with Micheal he smiled as he loosen one of his personal made blades that was attached to the saddle. His rat tail was bouncing against the fabric of his cloak that only help serve as covering for windows or camp outs in daylight, and occasionally to keep cloths dry not that it matter.Roman was getting that one state of mind he has done before when he was just playing with Jay. The predator on the prowl to catch something bigger than expected, he had a grin like a child on Christmas day. Dragon's Blood, It has been a long time, the red head thought but then he was hesitant to just pull ahead to do so. His Sire doesn't know of this little habit he has in fact it was the one thing that helped him give up human blood, other then the fact it now reminds him of a mangle Ranger now and he would feel sick.
"Say the word I'll go in..."

Shards those dragons had been flying low. That was not what she was used to. That low put them at risk for bow fire...

"The riders are bad news," she continued. At least one for certain being armored? Someone with some experience possibly. "If Dark can hit quick from above and behind, forcing one to the ground, and then getting his white winged body out of there before the other two turn on him have him try it." She didn't trust the unexperienced Tainted yet to handle three in the air at once, risking himself as well as Micheal...

"Try for the one with the armored rider. If Dark can pull that off," she shouted as she looked past Micheal and his horse, "Roman, you and I will go for whatever gets grounded and make sure it doesn't get back up. Micheal, just make sure you can still follow us while keeping tabs on your dragon."

She was getting that same edgy feeling that she use to in old times. Old times that were really not so old. That itch to hunt the skies. She didn't realize how much she missed that feeling.

The vampire purred.
"Down for the count, go it."
The red head was crouched down close to the horse as he moved with the horse with a firm position the horse he was on was running faster than the other two.
'Faster Faster Faster' he thought as he fought the urge to just jump off the horse and run for it.

Micheal was already picking out the vulnerable points of the armored one on the fallen. 'quick and precise, then go high again.'
"We're bringing the big one down."
He let the other two go ahead as he was looking for a opening through his bounds eyes and then showed him the wings of the fallen and the pattern they moved.

Dark's Eyes turn that of the familiar nature of the Tainted and his flight pattern choked in the air as he dove with his forearms and legs tucked in creating an arrow diatomic body wings only slightly tucked in with his tail making slight adjustments. It was in seconds they could hear something flying at them in great speed. With the adjustment of his eyes when he was within reach of the dragons there was a short time of perilization inflicted upon the dragons and their bounds. Dark used this to latch on the back of the shoulder of the Fallen Pinning with a forced hit of gravity and his weight against his bound Only to push with the strength of his legs to higher altitudes.

The Fallen dragon had bellowed upon the hit, the brief n** of unwarrented calm that had been sent not lasting long as Dark's presence suddenly dropped in squarely before rebounding away. It was only just soon enough as even though the Bound had been pressed between them, there was enough room for him to reach for his blade.

The Fallen just missed diving into a spattering of trees having enough control to belly land to the side, coming close to rolling once. Blood dripped from the torn shoulder as the dragon scrambled to get back to standing position.

The two other dragons that had turned to try and claw and bite at their surprise attacker split up and went separate ways. The one without a bound continued the direction the dragons had been heading. The other with the cloaked rider turned to give chase to Dark, an unusual glow beginning to form around where the rider was.

'Traitor! What are you doing?' a hiss dragged across Dark's mind.

"That's our cue," Jay shouted after the draconic roar hearing the thud-like crash in the not far distance. Even if Roman did get ahead a little ways, he'd still probably have been able to hear her she figured.

She kicked her heels to push the horse faster.

Once seeing the Fallen into view, there was a dark laugh as he jumped off the horse with his blade and ran straight for the Fallen with his inhuman speed and then made a stab and slash motion right under the jawline of the Fallen. Showing no fear what was before him.

'Dad!' The dragon patched to his bound as he flew straight up.
'Fall' Micheal guided his horse to the lining of the trees as he pulled off his cloak and unbutton the back of his shirt, waiting for the instant where this will seem out of control.

Dark still flying straight up waited for the one behind him to be following as his back unnaturally bent back with his wings again folded, now heading straight towards the one in the cloak on the back of the dragon with a for arm in motion for a downward slash.

As the two flew about, Astalder soon noticed something in the distance somewhat above them. He couldn't see the exact form of the thing but it seemed that it may be either dragon or fae. The latter seemed a little more likely at this point, but in any case they should take caution. Even if the stranger ahead had nothing to do with this brewing conflict, there was the chance they weren't all that friendly.

---

Coming closer, Warden and Jace soon realized that the one before them was no ordinary Fae. The draconic features made it out to be a Reborn. What a rare sight indeed. The squires had no real personal issues with the Reborn but the order as a whole saw these to be abominations as with the general populace. Caution was to be taken for sure. At least it did not seem to be hostile.

"Hail. What brings a Reborn out into the open these days? asked Warden. It struck as a little odd to him, since the stigma of the species tended to make them rather elusive beings.

---

Watching from down below, the Fallen looked with interest as he spotted another up above meeting with the other dragon. From the ground, the features looked somewhat like those of a Fae, but there was something that wasn't quite right here. Even so, it wasn't often that the Fae would be out and about, greeting dragons.

In the back of his mind, he had to wonder what a Fae might taste like...

For a little longer he would watch, then make his move.

---

As the treat was tossed up, Ares quickly snatched it and gobbled it down. He was listening to the story too of course, but the foodbit had a little more of his attention.

"Rotting bodies smell funny," he commented with his mouth still partially full, "Do you think something big will happen? These sorts of things usually do don't they? Maybe there will be explosions like any good action story! I always love a good plot twist too."

As she could have guessed, Roman had raced quickly ahead. Grinding her teeth, she aimed to hurry her already galloping horse but she was sure that vampire on foot would have to be shakled before she'd fully catch up. Over and over she prayed that Roman would not do anything stupid before she arrived and that what fell would be dead as well.

Hooves steadying against the ground beneath him, the Fallen had made it to his feet just as the first stab made its mark. Immediately, the dragon's head jerked away at the pain before swinging right back in attempt to bowl over what it was that had cut him so, tail tip swinging around to flank from behind.

----

As Dark rose to the sky and pulled off his drop, the dragon pair behind him had followed in the same direction but did not rise up after him. This dragon that they were following was faster, as if the air parted around it compaired to their own flight.

As the Tainted began to drop toward them, the small stretch of extra airspace they had given themselves was more apparent to their opponent who was now looking straight down at a crackling pale blue lightning orb charging right for his nose.
