I don't really like the goggles. The colors are too dark. I thought that was the point. In my eyes, the darker colors only exist where things are darker anyways and help to tie together the black and the rainbow. If I take them off, it seems...unanchored to me.

That's true. The red just really pops out at me compared to the rest of it. I know the Starbabies item has a prism streak, but you'd probably be opposed to changing your hair.

7/10 The hair is overpowering, you need some red around the feet to anchor it. Picolitrosso's Urn's shoebows might work nicely.
